Andy missed Robert terribly, it's like she couldn't focus, couldn't do anything with him so far away.

There is this thing about being in love. It drives you crazy not being able to see that face, touch that skin and seeing that smile that lights up your world.

Being all alone at home the past 2 days didn't help her feel better. She'd just binge watch movies and wait to hear that special tone for Robert.

He had been super busy trying to catch up on all the paper work and getting up to speed on the events of the past week. He didn't get to spend much time as he wanted to on the phone with her but he called her every chance he got.

Andy was making a sandwich when she heard a knock at the door.

She made her way to the door only to see Jack.

"Oh, hey come in. I was thinking of calling you."

"Just checking on you. I know it can be lonely at home."

"Ya think?" she chuckled. "What's up with you?"

"Shift wasn't so busy. I'm tired and need some rest, but I wanted to see how you were before I head home."

"You know me. Can't stay still so doing whatever I can."

"So umm...what's with you and Robert?"

Andy raised a brow and looked at him.

"Come on. The other day you left with him despite your leg. You rarely wanted to get out of bed."

"Well we're talking, getting to know each other." She can't help but smile thinking 'oh we've done more than talk'

"So you like him and you barely know him?"

"I may not know everything about him but from what I know, he's a good guy. There's a lot more to him than his looks."

"Yet you've known me and won't give me a chance."

"Jack.."

"Not it's okay. I get it. I hope he makes you happy"

"Me too. I'm sure someone will come along who will be head over heels in love with you"

The air was a bit tense after that whole convo, Jack decided to say his goodbye and left.

Andy felt bad for him as she really does cherish their friendship. She just doesn't see herself being more with him; you can't help who your heart beats for.

She went back to her room and decided to take a warm bath to calm her self.

She turned on her music and laid in her bath as she let her body relax and her thoughts fade.

She was caught in a complete trance, but was soon brought out of it by that special ringtone.

She reached for her phone and answered, placing in on the edge of the bath facing her.

Robert's eyes widen as a huge smile came on his face. "Andrea You're torturing me" he let out as he licked his lips watching her in the bath.

"You're the one who decided to leave so soon" she replied smirking.

"Not that I'm complaining but isn't it early for a bath"

"I just wanted to calm myself, feel all the tension go away"

"You're making it rather difficult for me to focus on work"

"Then you should stop working"

Robert immediately got up and closed his office door to avoid any impromptu walk in.

He couldn't be there with her so he had other plans. He wanted to watch her as she pleasured herself before him. Andy, however, just needed him to talk to her. He could pick up on small little queues that she just needed his company, so he just stuck to having a conversation.

For Andy, his voice soothes her mind and that's all she needed in the moment.

"I miss you, you know that right?" Robert asked.

"Yea I know. Not as much as I do though" They both smiled.

"You know my mom called and asked about you. Very insistent on knowing if we made up"

"Well I mean you had to otherwise I'm sure you'd never hear the end of it. Moms want their sons to be happy"

"Yea you have a point. I'm sure she'll still be doing her own investigating. Anyways, you ready to go back to work?"

"I've been dying to get out of this house. It's like the day got longer today in hopes that tomorrow doesn't come."

Robert couldn't help but laugh at her frown. Seeing him Andy let out "It's not funny. This home thing is driving me insane. Like what do they expect me to do at home?"

"Rest. Get better so you can go back to work stronger."

"Uggh, whose side are you on?" She rebutted while rolling her eyes.

"Yours of course. You still gotta make sure you're okay. I can tell you don't know how to slow down."

She shrugged knowing he was telling her the truth. "Yea yea. I'm okay though and I'm ready to be back tomorrow"

He smiled at how quickly she got all upset. "Well keep me updated okay. Can't have anything happening to you again."

They continued chatting for maybe another half an hour before Robert got called into a meeting.

"Call me later?" Andy asked

"If you're not asleep by then sure. Andrea, I've gotta go, I'll talk to you later okay. Keep safe"

Andy finished her bath and went to 'rest' since that was what she was suppose to do.

She woke late in the evening when Maya called checking on her. She looked about some food and turned on the TV to binge watch whichever decent series she could find.

Robert had called her once she was getting ready for bed. After being in conversation for more than an hour Andy fell asleep on the phone with him still on the line. He thought to himself how comfortable she was with him. He left the line on so he could ensure she was okay throughout the night while he was on shift.

It had been a slow day so he wasn't too worried about leaving the station much.

Andy woke up fully rested and ready to go. She then realized Robert was still on the phone.

"Robert?"

"Good morning sleepy head"

"You were on for the entire night?"

"Yes. Your snoring kept me awake" he said while laughing.

"I don't snore!"

"Ohh, trust me you snore"

"Psshh...and yet you didn't say anything the other day when you slept over."

"I was being kind and I was practically asleep too. Don't worry, you're still my favorite girl"

"Whatever. I'll let this slide today since I'm in a good mood but it's one thing down on the checklist that you'll have to make up to me for"

They said their goodbyes and Robert wished her luck.

I know this is short but just wanted to give y'all an update. I'm working on a longer chapter next.
