A/N: Sorry that it took me so long to upload another chapter. I am currently working on writing a novel, so most of my time was spent on that. I have uploaded an M Rated one-shot that takes place immediately after chapter 5 if you are curious on what happened between the Professor and Ginger at the end of that chapter. This chapter takes place after that. Please read and review, and I hope you enjoy!
When Mary Ann woke up, she realized she was sleeping in Gilligan's arms. She smiled, remembering the conversation they had had the previous night. She was so completely overjoyed that they had finally professed their love for each other.
Then, she remembered the predicament they were in. Their bodies were still switched. At this point, she had almost gotten used to seeing her own face from outside her body. She desperately wanted her body back so she and Gilligan could move along their relationship. She agreed with the Professor that it wouldn't be advisable to get married while they're bodies were still switched.
Suddenly, she had another thought. Marriage. Did Gilligan even want to get married? Mary Ann, of course had always wanted to get married, but she had no idea how the bumbling first mate felt. While she was pondering this, Gilligan had begun to wake up.
"Good morning!" Mary Ann said cheerfully.
"Mornin' Mary Ann."
"I love you, Gilligan. I'm just so happy that I can finally say that I do!"
"I love you too, Mary Ann." He smiled.
"I have a question to ask."
"What is it?"
"Gilligan, what are we?"
"What do you mean what are we? We're people, that's what we are. Even I know that."
"No, I mean what are we together. We both said we love each other, and people who love each other are usually something."
"Skinny Mulligan and Florence Oppenheimer loved each other, and they were a couple. Does that mean we're a couple now?"
"I think so."
"Oh boy, I have real live girlfriend. My brother'll never believe this."
"Oh Gilligan!" Mary Ann laughed.
"Mary Ann, what do couples do?"
"Hmm, I don't know each couple is different. Most of them want to get married at some point, though."
"Married?" Gilligan's eyes went wide at that word again.
"Well, yeah. Don't you want to get married?"
"Maybe. I never really thought about it. Until now, I thought no one would ever want to marry me. Mary Ann do you want to get married?"
"Of course I do. I've always wanted to get married and start a family."
"If you want to get married, then I want to get married. I wouldn't want to get married to anyone else but you."
"Oh Gilligan, that's the sweetest thing ever," Mary Ann smiled. "I'd love to get married to you."
"Me too, Mary Ann. Too bad the Professor said we can't get married till the curse is gone. I hate curses."
"I think we should go back to camp now. The others are probably worried. And maybe the Professor found a way to reverse our curse."
Gilligan nodded and the two set off back into camp.
