EXT. NORTH SEA/VILLAGE - NIGHT

[We skim above a dark, wild ocean. The camera turns toward a lone island, Berk. It is a gigantic shard of rock jutting straight out of the water.]

Hiccup: [This is Berk. It's twelve days North of hopeless, and a few degrees South of freezing to death. It's located solidly on the meridian of misery.]

The Vikings are all surprised to hear Hiccup's voice seeming to come from nowhere. Once the shock is over they realize that what hiccup said about Berk was pretty much true. Everyone else was wondering if such a terrible place existed.

However The Teens snorted at the description, accurate as it was. Who knew that this was Hiccup the screw-up talking?

As for Hiccup who stared, astonished. " Is that my voice?! " He asked.

Astrid sighed and punched him in the arm. " I told you you sounded like that! " she cried Toothless warbled in agreement.

Hiro grinned. " She's right, ya know." He joked as Hiccup glared at all three of them.

[The camera drifts over rolling hills to reveal a small village nestled on an outcropping of seamounts.]

HICCUP: [My village. In a word, sturdy. And it's been here for seven generations, but every single building is new.]

Snotlout saw an opportunity to tease his cousin, as usual.

Why wouldn't they be new? Those foul monsters always destroy them. But then again, you do most of the damage yourself so…" Snotlout said, laughing, along with the twins. Astrid frowned and so did Fishlegs. Toothless picked his head up again, and let out a low growl, though most people thought it was because Snotlout called them monsters. Hiccup sighed and turned back to the screen. Toothless stared at his rider, and saw tears in his eyes. He let out another growl, but this one was more nurturing, more kind, and Hiccup secretly smiled, as did Astrid.

Snot you can make fun of Hiccup later. Let's watch the movie now." Astrid said, and they all turned back to the movie. Hiccup smiled at Astrid, and she smiled back and the two turned back to the screen.

[The camera drifts closer, circling.]

Hiccup: [We have fishing, hunting, and a charming view of the sunsets.]

[A door is pulled open... as a DRAGON swoops directly toward it, BLASTING FIRE. The door is SLAMMED. The fire shoots through the slats of wood, illuminating HICCUP, a gangly teenage Viking.]
