Chapter 6: First Time for Everything
Bella awoke the next morning feeling more relaxed than ever. It might've had something to do with the silk sheets she was laying on. Upon opening her eyes, she was in Jokers room, and found that he had moved some of her things in.
Looking at the walls, she saw a few pictures of herself that she didn't even know he'd taken. He had drawn kisses around them, and it made her chuckle.
Looking to the side, there was a rose pinned to a note. She reached over, hissing as the thorns pricked her fingers. She gingerly opened the note, sweeping her eyes across Joker's chicken scratch.
Gonna be gone for two days. See ya when I get back. There's a car at your disposal. I left you a little something on the dresser. Use it.
Xoxo-Joker
She glanced over at the dresser, smiling as she rolled over to open it. Inside was a bulletproof vest of her own. It was black and purple, clearly painted over. She also saw a wad of cash and a cellphone, and she bit her lip.
She went about her morning, wondering what she'd do while he was gone. She showered and dressed, putting the vest on under her shirt. She grabbed her gun, turning it over. She slipped it into her pants, before leaving the bedroom.
It was the first time she was left alone without Joker or Santiago with her. She went out into the workroom, many of the men doing what Joker had asked them, not a single one paying her any attention.
She let out sigh of relief, heading into the kitchen. She looked through the fridge, frowning as she saw nothing appealing. No fresh vegetables or anything.
She pulled out the cellphone, wondering if Joker would mind if she took one of his men. The phone was already charged and had two contacts in it. One was for Santiago and the other for Joker. She sent Joker a text, letting him know one his men would be with her.
Joker immediately replied, telling her which one he could go without. She went back into the workroom. "Which one of you is Raul?" She called. Nobody answered, and Bella frowned. "I asked a question. I'm looking for Raul to accompany me to the store," A skinny man sat down what he was working with, and looked over at her. "I am. Joker gave us strict orders not to interact with you while he was away," Bella crossed her arms over her chest. "Joker said I could take you along,"
He nodded, and Bella went to grab some of the cash. She grabbed her wallet, and Raul accompanied her out to the halls. She stopped at the edge of the hall, and looked to Raul. "What's back there?" Raul shrugged. "A sunroom I think," She waved him forward, and they stepped inside.
He was right. The windows hadn't been wiped in so long that they were dusty. "Is there a ladder around here?" Raul shrugged. "Probably not. Where are we going?" Bella turned back around, and Raul followed. "The grocery store and a plant nursery,"
Raul accompanied Bella to whoever she went, and she was happy that no one recognized her or her companion. By now, she'd just be a girl that went missing. There has been rumors of course that Joker has either a hostage or a partner, but there was no definite evidence.
Bella bought expensive food items, like chicken, fish, lobster, shrimp, beef, as well as some leafy fresh vegetables. She wanted to make a big dinner one of these days and hoped that by feeding Jokers men, they'd see her as less of someone to take advantage of. Joker was right, she ran the show. As she tried finding tomatoes and lettuce, many local stores did not have them up to par.
She decided that she'd grow her own garden. They went to a hardware store, and she bought the tallest ladder they had, as well as cleaning supplies and paint supplies. They then headed to the plant nursery where she bought seeds for tomatoes, lettuce, greens, etc. She bought a few rose bushes to start up. The place really needed some color.
Raul helped her without a complaint, and she noticed he had an eye for colors and cooking. The man was Italian, and she could see some dishes in the foreseeable future.
"Does Joker pay you?" She questioned. They had been out all day, and were currently on their way home. "He gives us a bit off the top. Depends on the job," She hummed. "What if I pay you and some of the others to help me fix up the sunroom? Could you?" Raul shook his head. "I'd do it for free," He admitted. Bella opened her mouth to disagree, but Raul insisted. "It's nice to do something different," Bella smiled softly, pulling out her phone.
She dialed Joker, and he answered on the third ring. "This better be good sweetheart," He replied, an edge to his voice. "Well, it's not important. It can wait," She could hear some type of scuffle in the background, but she didn't question it. "No, you want something, what is it?"
"Well, I'm working on a project, and I need some men of my own. Also, about Raul," She could almost imagine his brow raising. "I could really use him," Joker mumbled something that oddly sounded like 'bitch', and Bella frowned, "Excuse me?" She questioned. Joker was never outright rude to her or called her anything degrading. "That wasn't directed at you Cinderella. Fine, but he'll need a replacement. What kind of men are you looking for anyway?"
She bit her cheek at the hint of jealousy in his voice, but she cleared her throat to mask her laugh. "I need at least two handymen, some who knows how to maneuver around high spaces, and I need two who know their way around a kitchen," Joker hummed. "You're asking for quite a lot, but I'll see what I can do. Personal chefs?" He clarified. "No. Just to help out. We're on our way home now. Two days right?" She questioned. If she had to admit to herself, she missed his maniacal laugh.
"Someone sounds lonely. Is that all you needed?" "Mhm, oh, I forgot, thanks," Joker didn't need clarification about it, and he chuckled low. "Only the best for my girl, goodnight Cinderella," He hung up the phone and Bella bit her lip, blushing at Raul's stare.
"Sorry, I just…didn't think he was nice," Bella shrugged. "He's not," Raul tilted his head. "Why do you stay if you don't mind me asking. You know how he is, are you not afraid he'll turn on you?" Bella turned to face him. "I'm not afraid he'll turn on me, and if he does, I can't be surprised. I know what I was getting myself into when I decided to stay. Joker saved my life, and he makes me feel…I don't know. This isn't Stockholm syndrome or anything like that, or even hero worship. He treats me like I am the only girl in the world. I've never had that. It is twisted? Hell yeah it is, but he's kind to me," Raul just nodded, somewhat understanding her point of view.
When they got home, Raul and two others put away the items she had. She used what she had to make fried chicken tenders and a pasta with mushrooms and spinach. It was a large meal, and enough for herself and the men Joker had. She laid everything out on the table and went into the workroom. She cleared her throat, gathering their attention.
"I'm not Joker, and I don't know how he works with you all, but I made dinner, and there's enough for everyone. You may have some if you'd like, but nobody touches the plate in the microwave. That's mine. I'll take the heat if Joker gets angry," A few of them didn't move, and some hesitantly stood. About half of them ate, and the others refused. Raul explained that they don't usually eat while working, and they were on duty for 48 hours. She understood and didn't take offense.
Like she asked, nobody touched her plate, and after putting the rest away that didn't get touched, she went to bed, and Raul had another one of Joker's men to clean up. It was late in the evening when one of the workers spoke up, lighting a cigar. "So, she just thinks she can feed us, and we'll do everything she says?" Raul sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "It's not like that. I think she honestly wants us all to get comfortable around her," The henchman rolled his eyes.
"Not gonna happen. She won't be around long enough. Joker will get rid of her and that'll be that. We're not her friends, or her girlfriends. Fuck what she wants," Another man spoke up. "Frank, shut it. You're only mad because Joker laid into you last week. You were talking shit and you're lucky he didn't kill you,"
Frank rolled his eyes. "She could've poisoned it, and you fools ate every bit. I never did see her eat that plate," Raul rolled his eyes, hoping that Frank would fix his attitude. Frank was an okay guy, but had some issues. He wasn't very trustworthy and was never with the right crowd. It's how he fell into Joker's lap.
He was good at what he did, and Joker kept him around.
The next morning, Bella and Raul started the cleaning process in the sunroom. She swept the floors while he wiped the walls. One cleaning didn't do it, and there was a lot of old furniture in it. She was honestly weirded out by a rocking chair that sometimes rocked on its own. Now she didn't believe in ghosts, but it was odd. Raul couldn't explain it, but they left it alone for the time being. The sunroom was huge, and the windows at the top were going to be the hard part. She'd work from the bottom up. She opened the EXIT door, letting the fresh air inside to get rid of the chemical smell.
She and Raul worked most of the day in silence, and she asked him about to life. He was divorced and had a child that he never saw. He was in his late 30s and had been with Joker for at least 3 years. He never left because he knew of nothing that paid him as good. She found out that he'd been shot before and held at gunpoint, but somehow, he survived both near death experiences.
He told her that doing this was always something he wanted to do, and he thanked her for the opportunity. Bella even found an old radio and tuned it to an oldies station, and they worked in silence from then on out.
She took a few breaks, reading here and there, but was thankful she found something to keep busy with. It was quiet without Joker, and his men were very chatty when he wasn't around. The still didn't bother her, but some were clearly assessing her, wondering if she'd be like Joker.
They clearly weren't used to a mother hen type, so they were all trying to grasp the new dynamic. Evening had rolled around, and she called it a day. After showering, she headed into the kitchen, grabbing her plate from the night before, warming it up. She sat at the table, staring at the shapes in the wood. She was so out of it, that she missed two of Joker's men walking in, clearly talking shit. She rather paid it no mind as it didn't concern her until one of them mentioned the death of a cop.
He stood beside the table, clearly trying to rile her up. "Yeah, I heard that there was an ear inside the box or something. Shit, what he deserves," They laughed, and Bella gripped her fork, stabbing him in the hand. The man screamed, looking down at her in shock. The other man's eyes widened, and Bella pulled out her gun, just as he pulled out his.
"You stabbed him!" He cried, still shocked that she did it. "I did, and believe me, I'll shoot you if you don't put your gun down," The man slowly lowered his weapon, and the one she stabbed lunged for her, tackling her down to the floor. "You little bitch," He growled, wrapping his hands around her throat. "Frank!" Bella gripped the gun in her hand, squeezing the trigger. She blinked the first time, her eyes widening as Frank's grip didn't falter. Her hands were stuck under his body and she maneuvered her hands at an angle, blinking again as she let off three rounds. She could feel blood splatter across her face, and Frank stilled above her.
She gasped for breath as she pushed him off, blinking rapidly. Nobody said a word, and Bella stood up, looking down at her bloodied clothes. She just blinked at the man who was still shocked, turning away from him.
The men's eyes were wide as she left the kitchen, nobody saying a single word. Bella held up a hand as Raul stepped forward. "I'm going to bed, just…leave the body," She slammed the door behind her, stripping down to nothing. Her hands shook as she went to Joker's cabinet. She grabbed the Jack Daniel's, gulping down a mouthful. She wiped her mouth, laying down on the bed. She slid her gun underneath the pillow, closing her eyes.
Early the next morning, Joker finally came home. He was greeted with silence, and that was unusual. "You all look…my girl give you a hard time?" The one that was with Frank when he was killed spoke up. His name was Andy. "She uh…she killed Frank," Joker raised a brow. "She-she shot him four times," Andy walked into the kitchen, and Joker followed. "You morons left a dead body on my floor?" Andy looked to the floor. "She told us not to move it,"
Joker was almost proud. "Well clean it up," Joker walked away, bringing out his cane. He walked to his bedroom, opening the door. A grin spread on his face at the scene. Bella was sprawled across the bed, naked as the day she was born. She was on her stomach, one of her feet dangling off the bed. He sat his cane against the wall, softly shutting the door behind him. He had half the mind to bend her over his knee at leaving herself so exposed.
He walked over to the bed, humming softly. He eyed the bottle of Jack, shaking his head. He sat on the edge of the bed, taking off his gloves. He ran a finger over her calf, and up to the curve of her ass. She turned on her side, and Joker followed the movement with his eyes.
He ran his hand up her stomach, licking his scars. He shifted so that he'd be leaning over her. He caressed the curve of her hip. He felt the tip of a gun at his chest, and he chuckled. "Now that's a way to greet me," Bella's eyes flew open, and she sat up quickly. The soft glow of light allowed her to see him, and she wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I missed you," She whispered against his neck. He gripped her hips, humming. "You shouldn't," He warned, his eyes raking over her body. "Well, I do anyway," She ran her hand down his shirt, unbuttoning the buttons. Joker let her straddle him, and he leaned his head back. "You can't go back Bella. You're crossing a line," He cautioned, looking at her face.
Bella nodded, removing his shirt, splaying her hands on his chest. "I want to cross it," She placed small kisses on his neck, kissing her way down his chest. He caressed her sides before laying back on the bed, propping his head on a pillow. He let her take control, watching her with hooded eyes. She moved down his legs, pulling on his pants. She undid his belt, pulling down his pants.
She straddled his legs, looking at him. She ran a hand along his boxers, tilting her head at the black and white pattern. She sucked in a breath at the feeling of him, and Joker laughed. "Ha...ha...too much?" He taunted. She swallowed, shaking her head. Feeling impatient, he sat up, pulling Bella back up his body. He kissed her hard, roughly biting her lip. He flipped them over, taking in a deep breath. "You left a mess in the kitchen," He mumbled against her skin.
"He pissed me off," She whispered, running her hands through his hair. "Is that so?" He asked, pulling down his boxers. He slipped a finger, smiling down at her. "Wet already?" He teased. He positioned himself with her, sliding in. Bella sucked in a breath, letting out a squeak. She blinked against the pain, letting out a rush of air.
Joker pushed forward, slowly at first, grabbing her wrists, positioning her arms over her head. He leaned forward, and Bella hiked her legs up his waist, groaning softly as he sucked on her neck. "I've been waiting for this a long time," He purred, snapping his hips at a much harder force. Bella couldn't contain her moan of surprise and pleasure, never feeling so filled.
Joker was no small man, and he filled every inch of her almost like a puzzle piece. Joker kept at a semi-fast pace, his face in between her chest, leaving small bites, each one igniting her body on fire. Bella closed her eyes as fireworks erupted behind them, running her hands along his back.
Joker grunted with each thrust, feeling her walls fluttering around his cock. "That's it…" He urged, leaning up on his knees, pulling her with him. The new angle gave him a better grip on her waist, and he plunged into her as far as he could go, laughing with each cry that escaped her lips. She held onto his neck, rocking her hips to match his pace.
"Mmm, that's it sweetheart. Ride me like the animal you are!" He bit at her ear, gripping her even tighter. "Harder," She breathed, sucking in a deep breath as Joker adjusted himself. He stood at the edge of the bed, and Bella whimpered as he stopped. "Hands and knees," He demanded, and Bella quickly rolled over. Joker roughly spread her legs, and Bella let her head drop as he re-entered her. He grabbed her hips, slamming her against him with each thrust, and the sound of her skin slapping against his put him in a trance, her once controlled moans and cries becoming louder.
Joker roughly pulled her hair, pulling her head up. "I want to hear you," He slammed into her again, and Bella's legs shook as her orgasm rocked through her. Joker didn't stop though, the feeling spurring him on. If anything, it made him move faster, wanting to replicate that same feeling. "Yes!" Bella screamed, her hands gripping the sheets as he brought her over the edge again. "Feels so good," She moaned, pushing into him. She could feel the wetness on her legs and knees.
"Cum one more time?" He asked, pulling out of her and getting back on the bed. His laying down was an indication that he wanted her to get on top. She shuddered as she slid so easily on his cock. Joker set the pace, showing her what to do, watching as she got the hang of it.
Her watched her luscious breasts bounce, grabbing onto them, rolling her painfully hard nipples between his fingers. Bella whimpered at the sensation, and Joker thrust his hips, rubbing his thumb over her clit. He pulled her down to him, gripping her face. "Look at me," He demanded, and his dark eyes seemed to brighten as full pleasure burst behind her brown eyes, widening, before seeming to focus on him.
Her orgasm spurred on his, and he thrusted with each blow, warm cum dripping down their legs. Bella collapsed on his chest, breathing heavily. Her eyes fluttered close, and Joker rolled them over, moving some of her sweaty hair from her face. "All mine now," He whispered into her ear. He licked some of the sweat off her neck, laying next to her.
He didn't fall asleep right away, settling to watch her sleep peacefully.
She….
Best damn pussy I've ever had.
She's ours alright.
Joker watched her back rise and fall with each breath. "Cinderella, Cinderella….you're becoming more addicting than Batman…but don't tell him that, I think it'll drive him batty," Bella snorted in her sleep, and he wondered if she was awake.
"Batty…" She murmured. "All….yours…." She murmured, snoring quietly.
When Bella awoke the next morning, the first thing she noticed was how sore she was. She rolled over, finding that the bed was covered in rose petals, some even on her body. "Nice to see you're awake," Joker's voice floated from across the room, and she lifted her head to see that he was getting dressed. "Are you leaving again?" She asked. Joker shook his head. "I handled my business. I've drawn a bath for you. I want to see what project you'll be working on,"
She sat up, wincing a bit. Like a gentleman, Joker grabbed her hand, and leaded her to the bathroom. Joker's bathroom was much bigger than the one in her room, filled with a walk-in shower, and a clawfoot tub. There were bubbles in the water, and it smelled liked lavender. Bella got in, sighing at the temperature. It was perfect. "Thank you," She murmured.
Joker played some music, leaving her to herself. He went through the clothes he had for her, deciding that she needed some loose dresses. After last night, he hated all the fumbling of clothes and he knew he wouldn't be able to keep his hands off her.
He sent Santiago, and also had him pick up a vase of sunflowers. 30 minutes later, Bella emerged, clearly excited about showing Joker what she had planned. He also had 5 men waiting, 4 were the one's she wanted, and one was to replace Raul. She came to his side, and Joker twirled her around, wrapping her hand around his arm.
She led him down the hall, and she opened the EXIT door so that he could see. "It's a sunroom! I thought I could turn this into an indoor garden. Fresh vegetables, and plants. Gives me something to do," She mused. Joker looked around the room, internally grumbling at the fact that this would be taking her away from him. He had half the mind to tell her as such, but as she bounced around, happily explaining what she planned to do, he caved.
He called in the men, and Bella told them what she wanted. They couldn't refuse, but they seemed happy to help. She tied her hair up, and Joker tilted his head at the look. "You should wear your hair like that more often," Bella blushed.
The squeaking of that damned rocking chair caused them all to quiet. "I don't get that thing!" She snapped, clearly agitated with it. Joker raised a brow at her mood but didn't comment. "I think it's the uneven pavement. We can fix that,"
"Why don't you throw it out?" Joker asked. Bella shrugged. "I don't know, it's old, it's nice if it didn't rock on its own," She kissed his lips, going to the large ladder than spanned at least 20 feet high. Joker frowned as she started to climb, with cleaning supplies no doubt. "There's a ledge up there that she can climb on," One of the men spoke. "Hmmm. If she dies or gets injured…." The man nodded, understanding the unspoken threat.
Joker supervised for a while, and Raul explained what she wanted done as far as the cleaning process. Joker hired two more men to work the windows at the top.
Two of the other men were in the kitchen, prepping what Bella had asked for. She had left a note the night before, and she planned on making one of Raul's dishes.
The change was easy to see, and Joker wanted to be clear that was he was running was his own thing, and what Bella had was hers. No one interfered with whatever she was doing or there'd be hell to pay.
Joker stood in front of his men, watching them count the money he brought up. "There's close to one million dollars here boss," Just the way Joker liked it.
"Good. I know there's some changes happening around here, but don't get it twisted. I control this place, and what I say goes. What she has going on in the kitchen and sunroom is her business. The sunroom is off limits unless there's an emergency," Phil raised his hand, and Joker cut him a look.
"What kind of emergency?" Joker rolled his eyes. "Life or death…your questions are going to get you killed…" Phil swallowed and nodded, shutting his mouth.
Joker looked up at two of his men rolled in a bunch of jewelry. "Last nights heist?" Joker ran his hands across the diamonds, plucking out a diamond ring. He pocketed it for later, and the men rolled it into another room.
He sat back in his chair, counting some cash, splitting it into two piles. A loud crash caught his attention, and he wondered what Bella was up to. He paid it no mind, and went back to counting. He tilted his head as he could hear all of them yelling.
He made his way to the sunroom and he raised a brow at the pigeon that was on the ledge. "Shoo! Fly away you damn bird," Bella snapped, trying to shoo it away with her hand.
"Watch it before you break your damn neck!" Joker growled. Bella looked down at him. "It busted through the window!" Joker sighed, pulling out his gun, aiming for the bird. He shot at it, and it flew away. "Hey! You could've hit me!"
"I didn't now did I? I'm telling you, you better get down from there," Bella was stubborn and would see her work through. After Santiago came back with what he wanted, Joker instructed him to stay on the roof, and put a railing up on the windows, and also keep an eye on Bella in the process.
She was clumsier than a child, and Joker would rather not see her bash her head in on the ground below. One of the handymen was able to replace the glass, and Santiago made quick work of placing bars at the top to keep birds from flying in.
A few hours later, the sunroom windows were all cleaned, and the floor and walls were now their white shine. Bella finally came down the ladder looking around at the progress. "Nice," She smiled.
Joker took her hand, raising her fingers to his lips. "Are you finished?" She nodded, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Don't tempt me, I'll take you right here and right now," Bella flushed at the memory of the night before.
Joker pushed her against the wall, encasing her with his arms. He turned around, barking out a "leave us," before returning his attention to her.
Joker raked his eyes over her face, grinning at her. "I think I've created a monster," He mused, running him tongue along her neck. He unzipped his pants, and this time Bella didn't shy away. Joker guided her down, and his cock sprang to attention as she gripped him. She noticed that like the rest of his body, it too wasn't spared from chemical burns.
It didn't gross her out in the slightest. She wrapped her lips around the head, flicking her tongue. Joker moaned, gripping her hair as he none too gently fucked her face.
Bella gripped his legs, looking up at him with a look that he vowed to see more often. Whatever she couldn't fit, she used her hands, gently squeezing his balls in the process.
Bella had never done this before but the pure satisfaction on Joker's face told her she was doing something right, and his thrusts became more frantic. "Swallow every drop," He growled, hot spurts releasing into her mouth, and Bella swallowed every drop, releasing him with a 'pop'. She licked her lips, and Joker pulled her back up, kissing her heatedly.
"You like being dirty, don't you?" Bella was wearing a pair of sweats, and it agitated him that he couldn't get where he wanted to be. "You wear too many clothes. I got you some dresses. That way, at time like this…" He ran a hand along her neck, smiling. "I can fuck you the way I want,"
He stuck his hand in her pants, finding his special place, inserting three fingers. Bella's eyes rolled back, and she moaned. "Mmm, ride my fingers. You know, next time I eat that little pussy of yours, you'll be against the wall, legs on my shoulders, completely at my mercy," The visual made Bella shudder around his fingers, and she kissed him, riding out the last few waves of pleasure.
"Go get changed," He let her wander away, watching her walk, shaking at the thought of getting his hands on her again.
He waited for her return at his throne, and when she emerged, he had to admit that she looked good in white. It was a white sundress, loose all around. She sat on his lap, looking around at the new cases of jewelry. "What do you do with all that?" She asked.
"Keep it, pawn it, melt it…whatever I feel like doing with it," She leaned against him, looking down as she noticed the two piles of cash. Noticing her interest, he picked up a pile, handing it to her. "How much is this?" She asked.
"Mm…a few grand," Bella's eyes widened. "Joker, what am I going to do with this? I don't need this, keep it,"
His eyes seemed to darken at her refusal, and Bella swallowed, but didn't back down. "It's yours, and I said as such. Keep. It. You'll learn that you can't win when it comes to me sweetheart," He pressed a kiss to her temple, gripping her tightly.
One of his henchman entered the room, "Sir, there's someone here to see you," Joker sat up a bit straighter. "Who?"
"He says his name is Oswald Cobblepot," Joker just nodded. Bella felt his gun at her back, and she tensed up. "Easy baby, you know I wouldn't let anything hurt you," He whispered into her ear. Truth was, he had no idea who this man was.
"Just be still for Joker, alright?" Bella nodded. "Good girl," Seconds later, the henchman came back inside, moving out of the way. Bella's brows furrowed at the sound of heavy breathing and what sounded like waddling.
Once into the light, there was a small, fat man, with a protruding nose, and sharp black teeth as he smiled. He was dressed with a black hat, monocle, and striped clothing.
He had an umbrella in his hand. "What the fuck are you?" Joker asked, tilting his head in disgust. The man snorted, and waddled forward. "I'm a man and what I have is syndactyly,"
"A deformation in your body right, where your fingers fuse together?" Bella asked, her face scrunching as he assessed her. "Eyes off, what do you want?" Joker snapped.
Oswald removed his hat, and Bella had to look away, the smell of rotten fish reaching her nose. "I was hoping we could work together. A partnership,"
Joker narrowed his eyes.
"What's in it for you?" He asked. Oswald waddled forward some more. "Reputation," Joker raised a brow. "I can't imagine why someone wouldn't take you serious…"
"Humor me. With you by my side, we can take Gotham from that retched Batman,"
"Is that so?" Joker wasn't interested. He didn't do partners. "What do you say?" Oswald stepped forward again, laying a flipper like hand on her leg. Joker's eye twitched and he moved his gun from Bella's back, putting it to his head. "Don't fucking touch my girl,"
"Remove it," Joker snapped, cocking the gun. Oswald stepped away, and Bella shifted to the side.
"What do they call you?" He wondered, his gun still in his hands. "The Penguin,"
Joker looked him over again, narrowing his eyes. "Thanks but no thanks. I've got my own, build your name somewhere else,"
Oswald looked offended. "Why not?" Joker tilted his head. "Last partner I had, I skinned him alive. I live to terrorize Gotham and I don't make friends. You can leave, and don't come back,"
The henchman who led him in, also led him out, and Bella turned around in his lap. "He seemed like he really wanted to work with you," Joker slipped his gun to the side, running his hands up her creamy legs. "I'm uninterested. He smells like trouble and I don't need the Bat around just yet," Bella wrinkled her nose. "He smelled like more than trouble. Can somebody light a candle?" She asked, humming as he felt under her dress.
"This is more like it,"
AN: That concludes this chapter. I think I'll be including villains from the comics and movies.
Do you think Penguin will take no for an answer?
Did anyone light that candle Bella asked for?
Next time folks.
