"I don't know why you're laughing Rosalie , my dad is going to grill you too"

"Good then off you go, you kids have fun, I'll call you down when Carlisle arrives"

"Are you saying that the gods made me a vampire so that I could be with you?"

Bella and Rosalie found themselves in the family room for the rest of the Cullens to come home, Rosalie said she would need to do some shopping to replace the headboard Bella broke and the mirror Rosalie threw Bella into accidentally.

Bella offered her card to pay for the damages since it was her fault after all but the vampire wouldn't hear of it.

"Rose just take the damn card and stop being so prideful" she huffed

"This isn't the 1950's where I need my partner to pay for things because I'm a woman Bella, I have more than enough money to replace a headboard and mirror" she scoffed folding her arms angrily.

"I'm sure you do but it's not about the money , it's the principle and when did I ever treat you like that?" she asked confusedly.

"Principle?" Completely Ignoring the fact that Bella even posed a question.

"It's a very common word Rosalie, it means a fundamental truth or proposition that serves as a foundation for a system or chain of reasoning" she said innocently, she swore she could see steam escape Rosalie's ears at the comment.

"God could you be even more infuriating? I know what the damn word means Isabella"

Bella rolled her eyes and folded her arms across her chest "then why are you arguing about it?" She tilted her head sideways "I know I don't treat you like a housewife stuck in the 1950's, so what's the real reason you don't want to take my money?"

Rosalie stared at the brunette in front of her, her lips were drawn into a thin line as she refused to respond. That's how the Cullen children found them strolling into the door smack dab in the middle of their conversation ? Argument? Either or Bella was quite interested in the Rosalie's reasoning.

"Because ... because I don't want you to dig into your college fund Bella, you're already giving up enough as it is" she said finally.

Bella shook her head and she should've realized someone who was so stuck in her beliefs wouldn't be so easily swayed, she might not think of herself as this blood thirsty monster anymore but it was clear she didn't think Bella needed to live anything other than a human life. Even her fight with James couldn't sway her if it did anything , it probably proved her point.

"Firstly : I'm not digging into any college fund it's laughable that you think I could have one with Renee as a mother.

Secondly ? I'm a billionaire I have money , and thirdly Rosalie ? I'm not giving anything up by being with you .. and I honestly don't know why you think I am... where is it even coming from? I thought you were pretty happy with the idea of eternity with me?" She asked the last part softly.

Rosalie took note of the audience they gathered and decided to put a lid on their discussion, she didn't want her family to hear more than they already did.

"I am ... it's just ...Just forget about it Bella" Bella wanted time press on but she heard the Cullens and turned around to face Alice and Emmet who gaped at her.

"What?" She asked tiredly and went to find a seat in a single chair.

"You're a billionaire?" Both the pixie and Emmet asked at the same time.

She rolled her eyes and shrugged "I am" she answered shortly.

"Wait how? Your dad ? What?"

Bella rolled her eyes "my father has a pretty penny himself but the Swans come from old money our family has been around for millennia after all...I mean we basically built America" she shrugged " so yeah when I came into my inheritance as an enchantress I inherited much more than just a mantle, I inherited businesses , investments, money and cars and some properties too" she said , her eyes trailed to Rosalie's who no longer stood on her spot but disappeared up the stairs.

"She left a couple of seconds ago" Bella nodded

"I know" she sighed , she pinched the bridge of her nose "will Carlisle be home anytime soon?"

"He usually gets off at five" answered the most unlikely source since Alice and Emmet still sat frozen at Bella's explanation.

"Okay" she breathed she looked around and saw Edward missing as well. She raised a brow "Edward?"

Jasper shifted trying to make himself more comfortable in Bella's presence. She really felt sympathy for the vampire he constantly felt everyone's emotions, including their bloodlust and she was sure him being around her didn't help.

"Do you always feel like that around me?" She questioned

He stared at her for a long while before nodding his head, but she could see the apologetic expression on his face.

"I'm sorry I'll try to see whether there's something I can do, I'm sure dealing with 7 vampires blood lust all the time isn't fun especially if said human is one vampire's singer"

"Thank you kindly ma'am, that'd be appreciated" He said with his full southern drawl and a slight tilt of his head.

"My, my aren't you a fine southern gentlemen" she batted her eyelashes with a bashful smile.

This let Alice come of her shock "hey, no flirting"

"I wasn't flirting, just making an observation Ally"

"But I'm happy that most of you are here I did come over to talk to you, did any of you see Victoria? I was explaining to Rosalie that I felt her at my home yesterday before I met up at that warehouse with James but other than that I haven't seen or felt anything yet? Is it just normal to disappear after your mate was killed or what?"

Jasper answered before anyone else could " No our mates in some parts are the reason we exist other than the obvious but once we've found our mates we're connected to them on a soul deep level—what we do is for them—who we are is for them, but of couse that's not to say you lose yourself but you complete each other. Take Alice and me for example while Alice is more excitable I'm more calm—we balance each others temperaments." He said , Bella smiled at the description Because it fit, it fit Alice and Jasper so well and she watched as the Alice snuggled into him with a love struck expression.

"I suppose now if that's how you feel when you found your mate .. then what happens when you lose them?" asked the enchantress.

Jasper pursed his lips "you either become a husk of your former self , lifeless no pun intended or you become hell bent on revenge —to avenge your mates life then possibly end your own, once you've achieved your goal."

Bella slumped in her chair as she thought about jaspers words ... so either Victoria ran off somewhere to sulk in a dark corner or she's coming after Bella once she's decided exactly how she would avenge James's death.

"So we're either have a severely depressed vampire like Edward or we have a severely depressed vampire out for blood?"She simplified

"I'm not 'severely depressed' I'm just in a perpetual state of melancholy" objected Edward as he strolled into the room with a frown on his face.

Bella looked at Alice and ignoring his objection "have you seen anything Alice?"

Alice perked up before she slumped, when she realized that she'd been too focused on trying to see Bella since she made the discovery yesterday and didn't even think to watch out for Victoria.

"No I haven't , I think I've been too stuck trying to figure out what's happening with you" she answered visibly discouraged.

"I'm sorry about that Alice but I honestly don't know what the issue is .. I looked into it but there wasn't anything of note that could possibly describe anything."

"I know ... I know I'll try and look to see whether she makes any decisions but you know my gift is subjective"

Edward listened to the conversation happening around him with frown on his lips. He wasn't aware of what Bella and Alice we're taking about and from the looks from Jasper and Emmet didn't know either.He barely remembered what went on in Victoria's mind he was too focused on James and his vile thoughts.

"What are you two talking about? It's like watching Edward and Alice have their creepy mind conversations" huffed Emmet, jasper nodded as well.

"Alice can't see my future, when she tries it's dark and well not clear same thing when she tries to force a vision of me and Rosalie. She just told me today and apparently it's been happening since yesterday after my encounter with James." She explained.

"Whoa that's weird"

"You can say that again" echoed Bella.

She looked back to the the stairs, this time she saw Rosalie standing at the banister with her mouth in a tight line.

"Anything to add Rose?"she asked

"No I don't" she said before leaving again, Bella sighed dropping her head on the back of the couch.

"Another fight?" Asked Alice softly , Bella noticed the boys busied themselves , Emmet playing some video game while Jasper went and played a game chess against Edward in the corner.

"The one you just walked in on" she shrugged , she took out her phone , sending her father a message that Carlisle would be checking up on her at his home office since the wait in the hospital was too long.

"I'm sorry, you both are quite hard headed though maybe if you apologize it'll go away?" She asked.

"I don't need to apologize" she huffed , checking her messages and emails "I didn't do anything wrong" She said sounding somewhat childishly even to herself.

"That's a very juvenile answer Bella" chastised Alice before she added "like the saying goes happy wife equals happy life" she said in a sing song voice that made Bella laugh.

"Hardly my wife ..." she looked up to the vampire "yet" she added " but seriously I haven't done anything wrong and I can't apologize for something I don't know I did or said ..that would just be stupid" she said with a sigh as she read Lydia's message about Derek saying he doesn't have a phone but everything was fine. She snorted at it before replying:

"Tell the idiot to stop shifting with his without his pendant on I made it for a reason"

She looked back to Alice who seemed to be contemplating her next words "then I don't know what you could do"

Jasper and Edward raised their opinion "Talk" they said at the same time continuing their game.

"Hmm... no I think I'm going to give her some space, Rosalie's not like you Edward ... she's different and well I'm still trying to figure how to maneuver around our relationship. Nothings ever black and white especially with Rosalie. When she wants to talk she'll come find me, like she did before but I don't think she's ready yet and that fine because real relationships don't work like the movies regardless whether you're soulmates or not everything isn't going to be sorted out after a single kiss... there's going to be fights , arguments but at the end of the day She's my home and I love her so whenever she feels ready to talk .. I'll be here day or night because that's what love is" she finished her rant, exhaling a breath. Throughout her speech she didn't see Esme stand with a smile on her face nor she did she small smile on Rosalie's lips as she blurred away.

"Awwwh Bella you're so cute" cooed Alice as she hopped over to her.

She rolled her eyes at the girl before looking back to her phone which chimed with a response.

"Will do and thank you for the hotel room , very swanky you've done well Swan"Lydia

She shoved her phone in her pocket after laughing at the response.

"Who was that?"asked Alice curiously

"Hmm? Oh that was Lydia" she answered

"Lydia? She go to our school?" She asked furrowing her eyebrows at the name— no one in Bella's friend circle had the name.

"Nope , she's from beacon hills, California" she answered

"Oh what's she talking about a hotel then?" She asked innocently Bella raised her eyebrow

"Wait, did you ask all those questions just to ask me about something you read in a message?"

"Well?"

She heard a car pull up"Oh look Carlisles here"

A/N I don't know about all of you but I don't think Bella and Rosalie's relationship is going be all roses and whatever.

I mean at the end of the day Rosalie still has issues with the fact that she won't have a child at least in her own mind .. but they're not so far into their relationship that they've actually had that conversation but something Charlie said triggers the memory.

So they talk about Vicky. Either depressed like eddy or on a mission to destroy ..

Also I don't own TeenWolf but I do like that bunch so they'll feature sometime in the story.. like Bella's family has connections and whatever and the Hales has always had the wolf gene but for the purpose of this story Scott won't be that half and half version. He'll have the gene because of his father but his fbi dad never activated it.
