Gwen Stacy was trying to hold her own against a gun slinging spider Man on the roof of Aunt May's home. She had managed to get rid of his gun, but she didn't count on him being a good fighter, she tried to knock him off the roof a couple of times but he stayed on. Below was Spider man from 2099 fighting off against the Ninja Spider, they had managed to shake him off a few times in other universes but he kept finding them, and this time he had brought along a friend. The Spiderman gunslinger was pushing back against Gwen taking her to the edge of the roof, he was about to give a winning strike to get her off the roof when a dark hand touched his shoulder. He turned and saw a boy dressed in a fitted black spider Uniform with red stripes , Miles Morales.
Zap!!! And he was down. Spider Gwen was shocked, then she overcame her shock.
"Miles!" She said running to hug me.
"Oh hey Gwen, miss me?"
She pulled away and gave a dry laugh. She was about to say something when they heard a big smash of metal. They both turned below to see that the other Spiderman had smashed into a garage door while the spider ninja stood a few feet from him, then he turned one side of his eyes to them. He had spotted Miles before he could think of having a drop on him.
"Umm, who is that?." Miles asked Gwen.
"Later, right now we need to help the other guy."
"Again, who?."
"Come on." Gwen said taking his arm as she jumped down so Miles followed but before their feet could touch the ground the spider ninja was gone. Miles looked around in confusion.
"Wait, what?".
"He's gone." Gwen mentioned, ".. he always manages to out when we put him a tough spot."
"Who are they?"
"Other Spidermen, from other universes." Miguel said trying to get up. Gwen walked over to help him.
"Um, and you are?" Miles asked.
"Miguel O'Hara, spider Man of the future, well, in another Universe."
"Uh huh." Miles said.
"I'm so glad that your ok." Gwen said walking over to Miles "how you holding up?"
Miles immediately became slightly uncomfortable.
"Um, um, you know, just hanging there, what about you?"
"Ok I guess, I've missed you."
"Hehe, me too."
Then Miguel clears his throat, "sorry to interrupt this lovely reunion but we have to go."
"Go, what do you mean?" Miles asked.
"To someplace safe kid, cause you're coming with us." He replied.
"What!?" Miles said stepping back. "Why?"
"Trust us Miles, it's for your own good, for our good too" said Gwen.
"What, what's happening Gwen, who's coming?" Miles asked
"Wait, why did you ask that?" Miguel said stepping closer to Miles, looking at him suspiciously. "Do you know someone's coming."
"Earlier to day some guy in a cross of Doc Octopus Spiderman outfit appeared out of no where, he told me that someone was coming for me."
Miguel frowned slightly at this, "did this Spiderman give you a name?"
"Who is it?" Gwen asked Miguel, she saw that he suspected who it was.
"No he didn't, I can only remember that he had some long tentacles like Liv Octavious." Miles said.
Gwen was staring at Miguel, "You know him."
"No, not really, but he is something else." Miguel said with disgust.
Then suddenly they heard a sound, it was a siren, someone had alerted the police on a domestic disturbance with multiple Spidermen again.
They all turned and saw afar two police vehicles and it's blaring siren lights.
Miguel tapped a button and a portal opened.
Miles turned to see it, "Whoa, so that watch is like an inter-dimensional..."
"Yeah, save it kid, look you coming or not." He asked gesturing to the open portal. Miles wasn't sure he wanted to follow, diving into another Universe was no small joke, he may never find his way back home.
Gwen placed a hand on his soldier. He turned to her
"Trust me." She said. Then she leaped in.
"Hey wait...urgh. fine, but you better not loose that thing on your wrist, I'd like to return to my family if you don't mind."
"Sure kid."
Miles hopped in, Miguel follows after.
Unknown to them CowBoy Spider man and Spider Ninja were still in the vicinity, they stood by a roof afar of observing the three Spidermen, a figure stood behind them, a spider Man in a long brown coat, black shirt and jeans with white and black canvases. He was known in his universe as the Nerve Spider, aka The Web Puppet Master. His both hands were stretched out behind the spider duo, a thin web like a string had shot out from his fingers and attached itself to a nerve found behind the necks of the spider duo. The Spider men had no choice but to obey him, they had been his first victims and he had carefully chosen them to take down the other Spidermen. He must complete his mission to capture and gather Spidermen, or risk loosing his family.
Miles was pretty impressed by what he saw when be came through the portal into a room. It was a high tech lab unlike anything he'd ever seen before, Spider Gwen was already their waiting for them.
"Whoa, now this.. this is the future." He said
"Hehe, geek." Gwen said.
Miles shrugged with a smile. Miguel O Hara finally came through the portal and it was shut.
"You have a nice place." Miles said "lacks an artist touch though, maybe I could..."
"No, you would not be throwing up any graffiti on my wall." Miguel said.
"How did you...?"
"He's been watching us for a while now, especially during the collider incident." Gwen explained.
"Whoa, that's creepy, not to mention sneaky too ." Miles said "but how is that even possible?"
"I'll explain later." Miguel said "but here." Miguel walked over to a table in the lab, he picked up a remote-like device on it and clicked in a direction, almost immediately a screen appeared in mid air, it was holographic and it was showing footage of Miles and his friends fighting King Pin and his troops.
"Saw how you took out King Pin, That was pretty smooth." Gwen said teasingly.
"Haha, yeah."
"Why does it look so familiar?" Gwen said thoughtfully
"The shoulder touch, haha, my Uncle taught me." Miles said a little soberly but still smiling. Gwen noticed this.
"Sorry Miles, I..."
"It's ok, I'm over it."
"I'm sorry to interrupt you but we have to get right back to the reason we're here." Miguel said, he was standing right behind them. Then he moved to the screen and clicked it again and it went off.
"So, what are we dealing with, who's coming after all the spiders." Miles asked.
"We are not sure." Gwen said.
"Okayy?" Miles asked.
Miguel clicked the remote again and the screen came up behind this time showing the Spider Ninja and his Gunslinging partner taking down other Spidermen "Not long after the super collider incident in your world, a sudden disappearance of Spider men began to occur, my AI was able to detect this so I had to look into it, that brings us to these two." Miguel said.
"Miguel here had already started developing the Jump watch before the collider incident..." Gwen said "a watch that would allow him step in and out of every place in the Multiverse, so he jumped to several earths of the missing Spidermen and discovered that most of them had been taken down by those two."
"Most?" Miles asked
"Most, because there were two other Spidermen who also attacked me during my multiverse travels, I found out they too had attack other spider men but not like those two." Miguel said
"Who were the two?" Miles asked raising an eyebrow.
"You're not gonna like this Miles." Gwen said.
Spiderman 2099 clicked the remote towards the screen and suddenly two Spidermen appeared on the screen, two of them miles knew. they were taking out other spidermen and carrying off their body. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. It was Spider Man Noir, and a Spiderman that looked very much like Peter B Parker, and they looked very mean.
"What's going on?" Was all Miles could ask.
"We don't know but somehow our friends have gotten involved." Gwen said. Miles turned around folding hands " There's got to be an explanation for this." He said.
"We know that Miles, somethings not right, they almost seem not like themselves." Gwen said turning to the screen.
"So what are we doing here, we gotta go find them." Miles said turning to Miguel.
"I hear you kid." Miguel said as he turned, walking some distance "but first we have to gather more muscle."
"What are you talking about?" Asked Miles. Gwen touched Miles shoulders and he in turn looked at her, she had taken off her mask, revealing her blond hair which Miles had mistakenly given a new design which she kept and he loved it because he thought it looked good and she thought so too.
"It's time to make some new friends and call in some old ones." she explained. Miles smiled behind his mask, cause he knew what that meant.
