I don't own any of this Paranorman belongs to Laika and Ghostbusters belong to Sony, all other characters belong to their respectful companies.
Up in the twins room; Agatha paces back and fourth still feeling anxious. From up here she could just hear the voices of the ghost exterminators downstairs.
She completely froze up in fear, she didn't want to make any noise for they may hear her, she stayed like that for awhile until the voices ceased where she then relaxed the tension in her body. Agatha didn't fully relaxed though for they were still somewhere in the shack, and they could come up here any second, if that happened then she had no choice but to flee the shack.
She floats on over to Dipper's bed, she sat there kicking her legs up and down, which they went through the side of the bed when they went down. She glances over to the clock on the wall, it was ten minutes since those men arrived, she really hoped they wouldn't be here long as she didn't want to sit here in fear all day. She lets out a sigh as she slumped over on the bed.
"Crash!"
Agatha's head jumped up in surprise, she glances over to the stairs as that sounded like it came from the kitchen. Agatha figured that it was either one of her friends or those men, if that was the case she better stay here where it's safe.
She continues to hear more crashes and clanks downstairs, whoever it was they must be hungry. The clanking and crashing noises then stopped, Agatha figured that whoever was in the kitchen was finished with what they were doing.
Agatha went back to stare at the clock which to her seemed to slowly tick. Suddenly Agatha's ears have picked up what sounded like someone speaking gibberish. Looking back to the stairs Agatha caught site of a peculiar green ghost, carrying a large amount of food in his arms.
Agatha watched the ghost move towards Mable's bed, where after he settled down began to eat the food; he shoved a piece of ham into his mouth, cheese tossed up in the air before he caught it with his tongue, clearly he wasn't elegant while eating.
She watches him unsure what to do or say, eventually she cleared her throat to get his attention. The green ghost paused with food in his hand, he looked up at her in complete surprise for he didn't expect to have another ghost in the room.
The two ghosts look at each other, not saying anything as they didn't know what to say, that was until Agatha decided to break the silence. "Hello"
The green ghost smiled and waved to her with the hand that had food in it. "Hi"
The two go silent again, Agatha rubbed a part of her hair before continuing. "I'm Agatha, what's your name?" The green ghost replies with a bunch of gibberish that she couldn't understand, but not wanting to be rude she smiled and nodded. "That's a nice name."
The green ghost floats over to her, but not before eating the rest of the food in a single bite. Now in front of her the green ghost expands his hand out, understanding what he wanted Agatha reached out and shook his hand. "It's nice to meet you." The ghost replies with more gibberish, Agatha lets go of his hand, looking down at her own hand she notices that it is covered in slime.
Although she felt disgusted with the slime, she kept up a polite smile while flickering the slime off her hand. Looking at him; Agatha figured the ghost was nice, though he seemed to be covered in slime and had a love for food, which is weird for she or the other ghosts she knows can't eat.
"So where you from? I've never seen you here before."
"New York."
"New York?" She exclaimed in surprise. "Your a long way from home, what brings you here?"
The green ghost floated over to the window and points out, Agatha went over, she follows where he is pointing to and to her surprise he is pointing right at the car that belong to those ghost exterminators.
"You came with those men?"
The green ghost nods happily, Agatha looked at him with confusion for why in the world would a ghost be with ghost exterminators? "Did they catch you and forced you to come along?" She asked him.
The ghost shook his head, he points to himself then did an impression of riding in a car. "You came willing with them?" The ghost nods again, which confused Agatha more. "Why would you do that?"
"My friends."
"Friends?"
"Yes"
"Your friends with people who exterminate ghosts?" The green ghost nods again. "Why would you be friends with people who go after us?" The ghost replies with more gibberish that Agatha just couldn't understand, he is definitely a strange ghost. "I'm sorry," she began, "but I can't understand you."
He looked at her for a moment in disappointment, then looked down to the floor sadly, feeling sorry for him Agatha places her hand on his shoulder, greatly ignoring the slimy surface that oozed around her hand.
"It's okay, I may not understand why your friends with those men, but I'm sure you have a good reason." She gently told him, the ghost still looked down, but then he smiled as he thought of something.
He looks up at her, then he moved up his hand and tagged her on the shoulder, Agatha did a little jump for she wasn't expecting that, she watched him fly towards the stairs where he stopped and turned around to face her, waving his arms around in a come get me gesture.
Agatha let up a small smile, then began to chase after him around the room. Agatha tagged him, she flies other way right out of the room with the green ghost right behind her. The two fly around the living sections of the shack, the two just entered the living room when the green ghost tagged her.
He quickly turned left and went through the wall, he enters the kitchen and crashed right into Coraline who had come in to get a snack. She just closed the fridge where all the food seemed to have gone missing, she turned around only to catch a glimpse of something green before falling to the floor with slime covering her chest and hair.
Coraline looked down at her slime covered shirt in disgust, she then looked back up at the green ghost who had a guilty look on his face. "Uh ho"
Feeling annoyed on what just happened, Coraline rose to her feet with her hands clenched to her sides. "Watch where your going! You covered me in slime!"
Agatha who had entered a minute ago, gets in front of her new friend who looked away from Coraline in guilt. "Sorry about that Coraline, we were just playing and I guess we were too caught up to see where we were going."
Coraline regards Agatha for a bit before looking back at the green ghost. "Who is that anyway?"
"I couldn't make out his name, but he's awfully friendly, and likes food."
"That explains the empty fridge." Coraline remarked. "Where did he even come from?"
"He apparently came with those ghost exterminators." The green ghost nods in confirmation. Coraline is surprised by this information. "What?"
Agatha nods, "He says that he's friends with them."
"He a ghost. Is friends with people who busts ghosts?"
The green ghost nods in glee, the two regard him for a bit before looking back at one another. "So" Agatha began while twiddling her fingers nervously. "Where are those men now?"
Coraline points downward. "In Ford's lab."
"Good, I'm safe for the moment."
"Yeah, but they've detected you on their PK-thing." Agatha grew visibility nervous. "They have?"
"Yeah, they said that you were a class-V apparition."
"What's that mean?" Coraline shrugged. "I don't know, probably some ghost mumbo jumbo they invented." Agatha nods in understandment, "So it's safe to be down here?"
"For the moment."
"Okay" Agatha turns towards the doorway while addressing her new friend. "Come on, I know a place we can spend time together." The green ghost babbles excitedly as he follows her. "Just watch where your going slimeball!" Coraline called out.
The green ghost turns back to her, clearly annoyed by that snarky comment, he blows a slimy raspberry at her before following Agatha out of the kitchen.
Down in Ford's lab; Ray, Peter, and Winston were impressed as they looked around the lab. Ray was practically geeking out upon seeing some of Ford's research subjects, a few weapons, and of course the remains of the portal used to travel into Bill's world.
Egon however despite being just as impressed with the lab his collogue had constructed, kept up his professional attire for he is troubled about the amount of supernatural activity that's occuring in Gravity Falls.
He and Ford sat near one of his control panels. Ford understood Egon's concern for this amount of ghostly activity was too much, even for Gravity Falls. "So Egon. What troubles you about this current spiritual occurrences?"
"Well Ford in my experience, whenever there's this much spiritual activity, it usually means that there's one big supernatural entity that's controlling them, such as during the coming of Gozer."
Ford rubs his chin as he thought. "I see what you mean, perhaps that sketch of that demon on the news has something to do with it." Egon perked up his eyebrow in interest. "Demon you say?"
"Yes" Ford turns to the control panel where he turns on a screenshot of the news story featuring the sketch of the demon. "Yeesh, ain't he ugly." Peter quipped.
"Must be a class-8 or something in order to command all these ghosts." Ray exclaimed, meanwhile Egon tapped into Tobin's Spirit Guide into his data pad. The demon shows up with his picture and all the information on him. "Salu"
"Gesundheit." Peter said.
"No Peter, Salu is a powerful demon that ruled over Gravity Falls for ten thousand years. During his reign, he commanded a great army of ghosts that terrorized the other supernatural creatures that lived here. Salu was finally defeated when a group of native Americans used a magical spell that send him into a hole, they sealed the hole with a rock that's carved with magic symbols."
"So if he's supposed to be sealed away, what's he and his ghosts doing out?" Winston asked.
Egon thinks for a minute before coming up with an explanation. "Something must've disturbed the seal."
"But what could've done that?" Ray asked.
"Most likely construction." Egon turns to Ford. "Is there any recent construction projects going on in town?"
"Yes, the Northwest's were building a restaurant to regain some money they lost. The work crew must've did something to release him."
Peter leans against the wall. "Alright, so all we need to do is trap this thing and all his ghost soldiers will simply disappear."
Egon shook his head. "It won't be that simple Peter, he's powerful, plus according to Tobin's he's protected by bodyguards."
"Oh great, a demon who has bodyguards like Kylie Jenner." Winston exclaimed.
"Come on guys! We faced many nasties before, this will be a piece of cake!" Ray proudly stated, which prompted the others to mutter in skepticism. "You know, I can help you guys." Ford offered.
"Thanks Ford, but it could be very dangerous, and I don't want you to get hurt during our time of business." Egon stated, Standford however got up. "It's no big deal, besides my knowledge of the town would be a beneficial for you."
"True that would be a good advantage, but I still feel that it would be more safer for you to remain here as take it from me, dealing with demons can be very dangerous."
"Believe me I know all to well." Ford stated, memories of his past flashed through his eyes for a brief moment before he continued. "If you really insist on me staying here then I will, but here take this map I made of Gravity Falls. It will help you."
Ford pulls out the said map from a shelve, he hands it to Egon who gratefully took it. "Thank you Ford."
"Your very welcome Egon, and if I can give you a suggestion. You should capture the ghosts before facing Salu, it may weaken him."
"Good idea Ford, it is truly nice seeing you again." Egon stated. "Likewise Egon." Ford replied as they shook each other's hand, Egon turns to the others. "Come on guys, we better get started."
The ghostbusters head for the exit, behind them Ford is already thinking of plans to help his friend. After all this was his town to and he himself does get rid of hostile creatures. Better yet he knew a group who can help out.
Smiling to himself, Ford turns around to his computer where he began to make plans for his own ghostbusting equipment.
