Dot and Billy went wide-eyed when they saw what they saw.
"Is that a diamond?" Billy asked.
"Looks like it." Dot said.
A red diamond was lying on the ground. Billy went over and picked it up.
"I'll keep it in my pocket for safekeeping. We don't want anything bad to happen to it." Billy said.
"Agreed." Dot said.
[Pause]
"Say, what's taking Yakko and Bugs so long? They've been in there for awhile." Dot said.
"I don't know, let's go check on them." Billy said.
Dot nodded as she and Billy entered the building. They did a double-take as they saw Yakko, Wakko, and Bugs tied to chairs. Ryder took notice of this.
"Ah, come on! Reveal yourselves." Ryder said.
Dot and Billy stepped into the area with their hands up.
"Well, you must be the youngest Warner sibling." Ryder said.
"Y-yes..." Dot hesitated.
"I see you've also brought a friend with you! What's your name, son?" Ryder asked.
"Billy O'Hara." Billy said.
"You probably already know who I am, so I won't introduce myself." Ryder said.
"I mean, you kinda look like Yosemite Sam." Dot said.
"STOP CALLING ME THAT!" Ryder shouted.
"Someone has a temper." Billy said.
"What are you two doing here? I told you to stay outside." Bugs said.
"We were starting to become worried about you, so we came here." Dot said.
"Alright, I about had enough of this clown." Billy said, and began to charge towards Ryder, expecting to tackle him. Instead, Ryder simply moved out of the way, leaving Billy to miss and cause the diamond to fall out of his pocket.
"Hmmm, what is this?" Ryder asked, noticing the diamond.
"I wouldn't touch that if I were you. It's very valuable." Dot said.
"Oh yeah? Well, let's see how 'valuable' it really is." Ryder said.
"NOOOO, DON'T!" Billy shouted.
Ignoring Billy, Ryder picked up the diamond and crushed it with his bare hands, right in front of everyone else. They had shocked expressions on their faces.
"Looks like it's not so valuable after all, hehehe." Ryder taunted.
Yakko, Wakko, Dot, Bugs, and Billy hung their heads down in defeat.
Then, in the blink of an eye, Ernie and George came out of their respective rooms and shot Ryder dead, leaving everyone else horrified.
"What did you do that for?!" Yakko asked.
"We hated his guts. We just couldn't handle him anymore." Ernie said.
"Exactly. He always treated us like crap when no one else was around." George said.
"So that explains everything, then." Bugs said.
Ernie and George untied Yakko, Wakko, and Bugs out of their restraints.
"We just couldn't bear to see you guys suffer anymore, so we did what we had to do." Ernie said.
"Hutch was mean all the time, anyway. Even if he did succeed, it wouldn't matter." George said.
"Well, we appreciate your help, I guess." Wakko said.
"Sure thing." Ernie said.
"Of course." George said.
"Hey, wait a minute! If you wanted to help this entire time, then why did you capture Wakko?" Billy asked.
"Because, if we didn't, Hutch threatened to stop paying us." Ernie said.
"And believe me, Hutch pays good." George said.
"Well, now that this mess is cleared up, I say we get going on our way and help Billy find his parents!" Yakko said.
