A/N: Ah yes, the Vanilla Pastry CHALLENGE!

*crickets playing*

Oh no...wait, no hold on a sec... are you telling me it ISN'T a Vanilla Pastry challenge?!

No?!

Booooooo!

[Honestly, not that I'm complaining I can't cook.]

Okay, no, I'm joking, this is the Villanelle Pastoral challenge! (but I'm going to dub it Vanilla Pastry challenge, 'cause it sounds cooler and also, when I read the challenge I legit thought it was Vanilla Pastry challenge and that confused me for a sec.)

Title: Bittersweet Nature

Name: Imagine Coldplay/Purple

Cohort: 2

Prompt: Challenge- Villanelle Pastoral

Words: 307 (JUST the poems AND titles, not counting the extra words like the A/N and this)

Villanelle:

Bittersweet Blood.

Sweet and soft

Light and smooth

All of the breath being held aloft

Bright as day

Dark as night

Sweet and soft

Bitter and harsh

Blood and sweat

All of the breath being held aloft

Cries and lies

Screams of pain

Sweet and soft

May they tear me

May they know

All of the breath being held aloft

Sometimes enough is enough

And sometimes all we'll do is try

Sweet and soft

All of the breath being held aloft.

Pastoral Poem:

Gorgeous Nature.

Look at all of that beautiful green…

Those swaying trees

Look at the beauty of Mother Nature

For she is wise and ever knowing

All of her subjects have a link to their all-powerful Queen.

These subjects, the animals know beyond and know more than we could ever

They know when storms approach

They know when their Queen Mother is upset

And yet all of these animals live in harmony, following their instincts

Breathe, the pure air

Look at the stars, sun and moon shine above, for these are heaven's gems

And may we treasure them, for the sky is their treasure box who maintains them all

Appreciate nature's beauty and generosity

For when you don't, consequences shall come to you

For the Queen Mother Nature's wrath is not one to be confronted with

Look at these animals who do not judge each other

Look at the lovely and diverse shades of green

Look at the extravagant colors of these fruits, vegetables and animals

Look at their diverse shapes and sizes

Since everything Mother Nature does has a reason and purpose

As do we.

Look at the lovely snow…

So white and pure

So clear and lovely

Observe these snowflakes

So diverse and lovely as always

Appreciate it

Nature is lovely

Appreciate it

Because once it's gone….

No color will remain….

A/N: Hopefully I did this right. *takes a bow* Thanks for sticking with me on this. Honestly, poems are not that bad... See ya later haters.
