Cecil captain of the EboHawke Vanguard witnessed a falling star crash into the northern mountains of The Fields of Ruin when he reached the area of the mountains where the star may of fallen he finds an unusual child with a tail who will change the lives him and his family forever. 6. Chapter 6

Today is, Angela's eleventh birthday and Crissa was working on giving her something nice while shopping in the marketplace in the small farming town north of, Lion's Arch until a group of pirates decided to disturb the peace. "Where's our alcohol?" One of them asked. "This town owes us tribute in order to keep us from burning this little shithole to the ground." He added while grabbing the mayor. "I'm sorry it has been a slow harvest and you scared away most of our business." He replied with a terrified look.

"Unhand him!" A young lady with short blonde hair, blue eyes, fair skinned with B cup breasts wearing silver breast armor, plated belt, dark tan tunic, leather pants and leather boots said while pointing her mithril short sword at them. "Who's the bitch?" The pirate asked with a laugh. "My name is, Laura Bennet you low life scum." She replied.

"What's with all of the noise?" Angela asked after walking out of the inn while yawning. "Look, it's that bitch with the tail." The other pirate whispered into the one holding the mayor by the collar of his shirt. "Forget the tribute we have ourselves a bounty to gain." He said while walking up to, Angela. "May I help you?" Angela asked while looking up at him. "You have a large bounty, and I am here to collect." He replied while the other pirates laughed.

"Hey, don't ignore me!" Laura shouted out in anger. "Shut it!" He replied before he noticed that Angela walked past him. "Crissa do you have breakfast yet?" Angela asked while walking to the market. "Stop right there!" He said while pressing the barrel of a pistol against the back of her head. "Do you really want to travel down this road?" Angela asked before, Laura dashed at them with her sword drawn just to be back handed and sent flying backwards.

"You scum!" She said while angrily wiping the blood from her lid and standing up. "Where's my sword?" She asked before noticing that Angela had it in her hand just before she cut off both pirate's arms followed by his head sending them falling to the ground with a cascade of blood to follow as the body spasmed on the ground. "You bitch." The other pirate said before they charged her in unison just to be slaughtered in seconds. "What a way to start my birthday." Angela said while removing the blood from the blade by giving the sword a good swing.

"How dare you but into my fight!" Laura angrily said while walking up. "You call that a fight?" Angela asked with a chuckle. "You must've been not much of a threat since they came after me." She added while crossing her arms. "How dare you insult a knight of the family of Bennet." She said while pointing at, Angela. "Never heard of you." Angela replied while stabbing the sword into the ground.

"Please even a lowly commoner like yourself should know who I am." She stated. "I've never heard of you and I am of the Skybourne family." Angela replied. "You're the daughter of, Cecil Skybourne?" She asked after sheathing her sword. "That's correct." Angela replied before noticing, Crissa walking up with some food. "I see you started your day with a slaughter." Crissa stated with a sigh. "They started it." Angela replied before the town's folk gathered around. "It's good to see you again, lady Skybourne." The mayor said while walking up. "It has been a while." Angela replied. "I just want to say on behalf of my people thank you for ridding us of those pirates." He said with a polite bow. "It's my duty as a knight." Angela replied with a smile.

"What about me?" Laura asked before a well-dressed man walked up. "Lady Bennet there you are." He said with a look of worry on his face. "You look upset milady." He said while she glared at, Angela. "That girl stole my fight." She replied before he took notice to the crest on the sheath of, Angela's sword. "It appears she is a member of the Skybourne family." He stated while crossing his arms.

"Hey, you the weirdo with the tail." Laura said while walking up to, Angela. "What is it that you want?" Angela asked before, Laura drew her sword. "A duel to see who the better knight is." She replied with a cocky grin. "Very well." Angela said while everyone made room for them to fight.

"How are your martial arts? Laura asked while taking a fighting stance. "I let my fists do the talking." Angela replied while taking her fighting stance as well. "Begin!" The mayor said before they dashed at each other with, Laura starting off the attack with a flurry of punches. "Not so tough, are you?" She asked before, Angela grabbed her arm and shoulder threw her to the ground. "Funny coming from someone who was back handed by a worthless pirate." Angela replied while holding down in a submission hold.

"Let me go!" Laura demanded. "Okay." Angela replied while letting her arm free so that she can roll away. "Ready to try again?" Angela asked before, Laura charged at her again but this time with a feint followed up with an uppercut that connected with, Angela's jaw before knocking her backwards. "Nice hit, but it will be your last." Angela said before vanishing. "What a cheap trick." Laura replied before grabbing, Angela's arm and kneeing her in the stomach and slamming her to the ground.

"Now we're even." Laura said before releasing, Angela's arm allowing to make some distance. "I can't believe that the Skybourne family has such weak offspring." Laura said with a laugh. "You're dead!" Angela declared before an explosion of white energy surrounded her body then vanished from sight.

"Where is she?" The mayor asked before, Angela appeared behind her and a few seconds later, Laura's body reacted as if she had been hit multiple times before hitting the ground. "What hit me?" Laura asked after coughing up some blood before trying to get on her feet. "Time to die." Angela said while forming a ball of energy in her hand.

"Stop!" Crissa yelled before grabbing, Angela from behind. "You need to calm down." She said before, Angela relaxed her body. "Go back to the inn while I finish getting you breakfast." She said before, Angela turned to face her. "I'm finishing this fight." Angela replied before making her to towards, Laura. "You want some more, eh?" Laura said while trying to stay conscious. "Don't kill her!" Crissa pleaded before, Angela just smile and gently flicked, Laura on the forehead. "Are you kidding me?" She asked before finally falling unconscious.

"Lady Bennet." The man said while running to her side. "Crissa take her to our room while I fetch a doctor." Angela said before walking away. "Will she be alright?" He asked while picking, Laura up. "She'll be fine." Crissa replied with a smile. "Let's get her into bed." She said while they walked to the inn.

"Lay her down." Crissa said after they walked into the room. "Will she wake up soon?" He asked while placing her on the bed. "That was quite the beating she took." He added before, Angela and the doctor walked into the room. "There's your patient." Angela said while pointing at the bed.

"Help me remove her armor." He said while looking her over. "Of course." Crissa replied while working on the leather straps and help him get her undressed then laying her back down. "What happened to this young lady?" He asked. "We got into a duel and I won." Angela replied before he looked at her. "You must have hit her rather hard considering that her arm is broken." He replied while checking out her arm. "Along with a few fractured ribs." He added while lightly pressing her chest.

"Will she be alright?" The well-dressed man asked. "I'm not sure." He replied while checking out her head and opening her eyelids. "It appears to be some swelling along with a mild concussion." He said while continuing his examination. "It may be sometime before she regains consciousness." He added before covering, Laura with a blanket.

"Here's the coin for the examination." Angela said while handing over a coin pouch. "Allow me to splint her arm first then give you some medicinal herbs for the swelling and pain." He replied while taking the coin. "Thank you very much." The well-dressed man said with a polite bow. "I'm surprised you paid for her examination." Crissa stated. "It's the most I can do considering the shape that she is in." Angela replied.

"We never got your name." Angela said while turning her attention to the well-dressed man. "My name is, Bernard I am the head butler to the Bennet family." He replied with a polite bow. "What brings a little rich girl to these parts?" Angela asked. "She wanted to buy some fresh produce from the farm here." He replied. "Don't they sell the same produce in the markets of Divinity's Reach?" Angela asked. "They do but the young lady wanted them fresh." He replied.

"We should head to the market and get some breakfast." Crissa suggested. "This isn't exactly how I wanted my birthday to start." Angela said with a sigh. "Come along it's too late to groan about it." Crissa replied while leading her out of the room.

While walking outside, Crissa took, Angela's hand and looked at her with a warm smile before pulling her in for an embrace. "Happy birthday my beloved." She said before giving, Angela a peck on the lips causing her to blush. "Let's go to the market and buy things for breakfast." She said with a smile. "Lead on." Angela replied while having her hand taken and led to the marketplace.

It is mid-morning, and the marketplace is bustling with activity after the Seraph removed the corpses of the dead pirates and cleaned away the blood. "What would you like for breakfast?" Crissa asked while they walked. "Fish." Angela replied while taking in the scent of lemon grilled fish nearby. "As you wish." Crissa said before walking to the stand.

After their shopping trip, they walked into the room to find that Laura had regained consciousness and as they set the food down, Angela noticed that she was looking at her with a smile. "How are you feeling?" Crissa asked while walking up to the bed. "I am in slight pain but the medicine the doctor told me that lady Skybourne paid for along with my treatment is making it bearable." She replied with a smile.

"I want to apologize." She said while watching, Crissa prepare breakfast. "You have no need to apologize." Angela replied while handing her a plate of food. "Thank you." She said while cutting off a piece of fish and placed it in her mouth. "So good." She added while chewing. "I'm sending a message to your parents hopefully we will hear from them by tomorrow." Bernard said after walking into the room with a message carrier. "Here is the message for Master and Mistress Bennet." He said while handing over the parchment along with the delivery fee before the carrier activated a device and vanished.

"Those waypoint devices are something else." He said before noticing that Angela was handing him his breakfast. "Thank you." He said while taking a seat next to the bed. "You owe me a rematch." "Laura said while pointing at, Angela. "How about getting stronger first before challenging me." Angela replied before starting to consume her meal. "Will you train me?" Laura asked. "No, I need to focus on my own training that is why I am traveling." Angela replied. "And besides you're in no shape to train." She added bluntly.

"We should be going." Crissa suggested while getting their things packed. "Remember to pack our cold weather gear for when we reach Snowden." Angela replied. "What's in Snowden?" Laura asked with a confused look. "Harsh environments make for great places to train." Angela replied with a smile. "After that we plan to move south to Orr where they enemies are even tougher." She added. "That would take you about two or more years." Laura stated. "We had better get going then." Angela replied while picking up her travel bag. "I also paid for the room for the night." She added before, she walked out with, Crissa.

After walking out of the inn, Angela caught notice of the mayor before walking up to him as he was talking to a few of the farmers. "How far is Snowden from here?" Angela asked. "About a month travel I believe." He replied while, Crissa was looking at the map of Tyria. "He's correct the way to Snowden is to the northwest from here not far from the Vigil Headquarters." Crissa stated while folding up the map then placing it in her bag. "See you around old man." Angela said before they started walking away. "Take care of yourself on our journey." He replied before walking away.

Nearly a week later they see a mansion near the lake surrounded by tall, trimmed bushes and as the approached the house they saw a man with medium length light brown hair wearing what appeared to be high ranking Seraph armor talking to a regal dressed Asura.

"I appreciate you coming all the way out here, Captain Thackeray." The Aura said with a bow. "Pirates are usually taken care of by the Lionguard and considering that they have their hands full at the moment I will be happy to assist." He replied with a smile. "Oh, it appears that we have some visitors." The Asura said after noticing, Angela and Crissa walking up.

"What brings the Seraph out to these parts?" Angela asked with an inquisitive look. "Nothing for a citizen to be concerned with." A female Seraph replied while standing in attention. "I was talking to the man in charge." Angela said while looking at her. "No need to be rude." Crissa interjected before; Captain Thackeray turned to look at them. "I take it that your travelers?" He asked while crossing his arms. "That we are and if I might take a guess, I'm guessing you have a pirate problem." Angela replied. "You guessed right." Captain Thackeray said.

"May I inquire your name?" He asked. "Angela Skybourne and…" "Wait you're a Skybourne?" He asked interrupting her. "I am and I would appreciate you not interrupting me." She said while feeling frustrated. "My name is, Crissa I am a third born." She said with a bow. "A pleasure, my name is Logan Thackeray." He said with a bow. "I know about you my ancestor fought alongside, Gwen Thackeray." Angela said while placing her hands on her hips.

"We should be going." The female Seraph suggested. "Very well lieutenant." He replied. "I could lend a hand." Angela said while, Crissa walked up next to her. "Very well I would like to see the prowess of a member from the Skybourne family." He replied before ordering his troops to move out.

"Captain the boats are ready to set out." A male Seraph said after walking up a saluting. "Very good, dismissed." Logan replied before the Seraph took his leave. "What's the plan?" Angela asked. "See that Island over there?" He asked while pointing at it. "A gang of pirates built a port there and are now making problems for the people along with disrupting the merchant roads." He added. "So, taking out the pirates here will hopefully put a stop to it and travel and trade will be secure again is that correct?" Angela asked. "That's the plan." Logan replied before getting on the boat then setting out to the island.

After landing, Loga sent the other Seraph to lie in wait for his order to attack before he, Angela, and Crissa approach the camp to get their attention "Looks like they fully established themselves here." Angela said while looking at the small port they built with a few small buildings along with an armament of cannons covering the small harbor.

"We've got company." Crissa said before they were surrounded by a gang of pirates. "Move aside!" A tall man with a long dark coat white shirt, leather pants and leather boots, with slicked back black hair, light skin ordered before the group parted "Captain the bounty is here." One of the pirates said while pointing at, Angela. "Careful men the one offering the bounty wants her alive." The captain replied while drawing his sword.

"I believe it is time that you and your men surrender." Logan said while placing his hand on his sword. "I don't think we will and if you want to walk out of here with your lives intact hand us over that monkey tailed abomination." He replied while the other pirates drew their weapons. "Who put out the bounty for me?" Angela asked while gripping the handle of her sword. "Someone willing to pay well for your head." The captain replied. "I think not." Logan said before giving the signal followed by the Seraph storming the pirates with their weapons drawn.

"You two go help the others." Logan ordered while drawing his sword. "I want to fight the captain." Angela said while pouting. "You can fight someone strong next time." Crissa replied while dragging her away. "What's the matter freak are you afraid of getting hurt?" The captain asked tauntingly. "Let me go." Angela said while looking at, Crissa. "C'mon tough girl, show me what you got." He said while gesturing in a taunting manner before she walked up with her sword drawn then dashed straight at him just for him to swiftly sidestep avoiding her strike and grabbing her sword arm.

"So slow." He said before kneeing her in the stomach followed up with a hard punch to her ribs causing her to double over in pain. "I'm stepping in." Logan said before, Angela stood up straight and shook her head. "I've got this." She said before turning her attention back on the captain. "C'mon freak let's see what you got." He said while taking a fighting stance. "With pleasure." She replied before dashing towards him again with a flurry of punches until she made it to her sword and removed it from the ground then vanished from sight. "Clever but not clever enough." He said before swiftly dodging a flurry of sword slashes then did a quickstep back to give himself some distance.

"You're pretty good for a piece of shit pirate." She said before vanishing again just for him to grab her arm again and slam her to the ground. "You need to let me take over." Logan said while drawing his sword. "No!" Angela replied before quickly gathering energy in her left hand and launching it at the captain's face giving her a chance to escape.

"That was a close one." He said while smoke cleared revealing he was wearing a mithril wrist guard underneath his now scorched off sleeve of his long coat. "It's my turn now." He added before quickly drawing his pistol and shooting, Angela in the shoulder causing her to drop her sword. "You bastard!" Angela screamed while grabbing her shoulder.

"That's enough." Logan said before dashing in shield first while deflecting his bullets giving, Angela enough time to pick up her sword, vanish and decapitate the captain just as, Logan's shield made impact. "Rot in the mists." Angela said after dropping her sword and grabbing her shoulder. "Angela." Crissa said while running to her side. "Medic!" Logan called out after his troops took care of the other pirates.

"Please be alright." Crissa said while holding, Angela close. "It's just my shoulder." Angela replied while wincing in pain. "Move aside." A female Seraph said while rushing up. "It appears that young Skybourne needs more training." Logan said while walking up as the medic patched up, Angela's shoulder. "You're right." Angela replied in defeat. "Let's head back to Lion's Arch where we can better treat your wound and perhaps get you a hot meal as a thank you for helping out." Logan suggested.

"I can't return to Lion's Arch or the Lanzetti family will assume I gave up on my journey." Angela replied after having been cleaned and bandaged. "Come along." Angela said while taking, Crissa's hand. "Where are you heading off to?" Logan asked. "Snowden." Crissa replied. "Safe travels then and be sure to watch out for dredge they have been active lately." He said before turning to his troops. "Would you like a ride back to mainland?" He asked before they nodded. "Very well we will go our separate ways once we hit shore." He said before they got into the boats and cast off.

"This is where we part ways." Angela said after getting off the boat. "May the six bless your travels." Logan replied with a bow before taking his leave. "We should ask the manor owner for a place to sleep tonight." Crissa suggested while they walked. "I'm not sure that he would allow some strangers into his home." Angela replied before two guards walked up to them. "May I help you?" Angela asked before one of the guards gestured them to follow.

After walking up to the manor entrance the Asura from earlier along with two human maids were waiting for them. "You asked for us?" Angela asked before wincing from her wound. "Here." The Asura replied while handing, Crissa a substantial bag of coin. "What's this for?" Crissa asked. "The reward for taking out the pirates." He replied. "Captain Thackeray insisted I give it to you along with some lodging for your wound." He added before gesturing one of the maids to walk up and take, Angela by the hand and escort her inside but before she could act, Crissa stepped in the way.

"Hands off my beloved." Crissa said while taking, Angela in her arms. "Follow me I had a bath drawn for you." She replied while gesturing for them to follow. "A bath sounds wonderful." Angela said while they walked inside. "Show the sylvari to their quarters and take their travel bags." She said to the other two maids before they took the bags and led, Crissa away.

"This way, Lady Skybourne." She said while opening the door to the bath. "May I assist you in undressing or perhaps washing your back?" She asked. "I could use some help removing my gear." Angela replied before wincing in pain from lifting her injured arm. "As you wish." She said while removing the body gear. "Now sit there so I may service you." She said while pointing at a stool nearby with a bucket next to it until, Angela sat on it.

"May I wash your back?" She asked while picking up some soap. "Sure, I don't mind." Angela replied. "What's your name?" Angela asked while her back was being washed. "Tanya." She replied before, Angela felt something warm and soft on her back. "Are you washing my back with your breasts?" Angela asked while looking back over her shoulder. "I find it to be more efficient." She replied while, Angela's face turned beet red. (When did I turn into a magnet for girl lovers?) Angela thought to herself before feeling, Tanya's hand slip between her thighs. "I can wash that myself." Angela said while grabbing her hand.

*Just let it happen I promise to make you feel good.* She whispered in, Angela's ear before lightly nibbling on it causing shivers up her spine. "If you want, I could service you in bed tonight." She offered while continuing to make, Angela's body hot. "I don't think so." Crissa said after quickly opening the door and walking inside to find, Tanya's breasts pressed up against her beloved's back. "What are you doing?" Crissa asked in shock. "I'm servicing her like my master ordered." She replied while placing her arms around, Angela.

"If anyone is going to service my beloved it will be me!" Crissa said in anger. "Do you even know what servicing is?" She asked with a chuckle. "It's what you're doing right now." Crissa replied while pointing at her. "You sylvari are very naïve." She said while continuing to chuckle. "You can release me now." Angela said while looking at her from over her shoulder. "As you command." She replied while removing her arms and moving back.

"May I rinse your back off?" She asked while holding a bucket of warm water. "You may." Angela replied before feeling the warm water wash over her. "Would you like to get into the tub with me?" Angela asked, Crissa before she quickly removed her gear then walked up and took her beloved's hand and got into the tub with Crissa holding, Angela close from behind. "May I join you?" Tanya asked. "No thanks." Crissa replied while giving a cold stare. "I will attend to my beloved's needs." She added while gesturing for her to leave. "That will not do I was ordered by my master to service her." She replied while crossing her arms.

"May I ask why your master ordered to you to service me?" Angela asked. "Captain Thackeray gave my master the update on how you killed the pirate captain and saved our trade routes he told me if you were to ever visit again, he wanted me to reward you by offering myself to you." She replied. "How old are you?" Angela asked. "I'm nineteen." She replied. "I've been in my master's employ since I was your age." She added.

"Why do you want to service an eleven-year-old?" Angela asked while crossing her arms. "I'm just following my master's orders." She replied. "You can leave us now; I will take care of my beloved." Crissa said while gesturing her to leave. "I will tell you what if you leave now, I will think about you joining us in bed tonight." Angela offered while being held close by, Crissa. "Very well, I will inform my master." She replied before picking up her garments and leaving the room.

"I don't like the idea of that woman being close to you." Crissa stated while feeling irritated. "No need to be jealous." Angela replied while placing her hands up, Crissa's arms. "I am done with my bath and I need to dry my wound." She added before standing up. "I'll help you." Crissa said before following her out of the tub.

Later that evening they joined their host for dinner and after taking a seat, Angela was quickly taken care of by, Tanya causing a little more jealousy to grow inside, Crissa. "Here you go, mistress." Tanya said while placing a small rolled up hot towel next to, Angela's plate. "Thank you, but what is this for?" Angela asked with a confused look. "For your hands." The Asura replied. "By the way I haven't introduced myself yet. He said while the other maids placed their food on the table. "The name's, Qix it's nice to meet you." He added with a smile.

"Let's make a toast to ridding ourselves of the pirates and securing my trade routes." He said while holding up a wineglass. "Cheers!" Angela and Crissa said while lightly tapping their glasses together. "How is your wound?" He asked after drinking from his glass. "It hurts a little, but I will be fine." Angela replied. "Did my servants services please you?" He asked while, Crissa glared at, Tanya with disgust. "Well, I have never had my back washed with a woman's breasts before, so I complement her for being bold." Angela replied while blushing.

"I will no longer tolerate this woman being near my beloved!" Crissa said in anger after standing up quickly. "That's new I have never heard of a sylvari taking a human as her beloved." He said while crossing his arms. "She is and she belongs to me." Crissa replied. "I don't belong to anyone." Angela stated while looking at, Crissa. "I see…" She replied before rushing out of the room. "If you will excuse me." Angela said before standing up and leaving the room.

After running outside, Crissa fell on her hands and knees feeling her heart break after hearing those words from the very person she adores more than anything before sitting upright and staring at the sky until she heard, Angela's voice from behind followed by being pulled into a hug from behind.

"What are you doing?" Crissa asked while feeling frustrated. "I'm comforting my beloved." Angela replied while resting her head against, Crissa's back. "Am I really your beloved?" Crissa asked. "You're my beloved and my travel companion." Angela replied before breaking the hug allowing, Crissa to turn and face her giving her a chance to pull, Angela into a kiss. "I love you." Crissa said after breaking the kiss leaving a confused look on, Angela's face. "What's wrong?" Crissa asked before, Angela stood up. "Nothing, let's go back inside." Angela replied while taking, Crissa's hand and helping her up.

"Forgive the interruption." Angela said after walking into the dining room. "That's fine." Qix replied while gesturing, Tanya to pull out, Angela's chair allowing her to sit. "Tanya, will you get the rooms ready for my guests." He said before taking a drink of wine. "As you command master." She replied before taking her leave. "Crissa and I will be sharing a bed." Angela said while taking her beloved's hand. "As you wish." He replied with a smile.

"What brings the young, Skybourne so far away from home?" He asked. "I'm out on a journey to be the strongest." Angela replied after consuming a bite of food. "What of you sylvari?" He asked. "I am to help her achieve that goal." She replied while lightly squeezing, Angela's hand. "Will you tell me more about the Skybourne family I don't know much about them." He said before taking a drink of wine.

"My father is a captain of his own unit; my mother was a Vanguard but decided to be a home maker and housewife I also have two brothers." Angela replied. "What of the history?" He asked. "My ancestor fought alongside, Gwen Thackeray during a charr invasion and we are descendant of the knights of Ascalon." Angela replied. "That's rather vague can you tell me more?" He asked. "To be honest I was too wrapped up in training to learn any more than what I was told." Angela replied.

"How about some stories on your journey." He said while holding his wineglass as one of his maids filled it. "We do have some interesting stories." Crissa replied. "The battle of Fort Salma was interesting." Angela said while crossing her arms. "Tell me more." He replied with a grin. "It was about six months ago." Angela said.

"This is Fort Salma I presume." Angela said while walking up to the entrance. "Might as well go in rather than stand here." Crissa suggested before they walked into what appeared to be a busy town with a bustling marketplace. "welcome to Fort Salma." A male Seraph said while walking up. "What brings you here today?" He asked. "Just a place to sleep and a supply restock." Angela replied. "There is an inn just past the marketplace." He said while pointing in the direction of the inn. "There is also a restaurant near the inn." He added. "Thank you very much." Crissa said with a bow.

"How long will you be staying?" He asked. "Two days." Angela replied. "Very well, I would tell you to stay out of trouble, but you seem to be well behaved." He stated with a smile. "I'm off to resume my duties enjoy our stay." He said before taking his leave. "Shall we take a look around?" Crissa suggested while taking, Angela's hand. "Of course, that is a must of traveling." Angela replied with a smile.

"Wake up weakling." A sudden voice said before grabbing the hair on the back of, Angela's head and pulling her to her feet. "Where am I?" Angela asked while coming to and seeing a girl with light skin with long unkempt black hair wearing familiar along with to boys with short spikey black hair. "Why did we bring this weaking?" The girl asked. "Her fighting level is pathetic." The boy added before the other boy pushed, Angela to the ground.

"What's your deal?" Angela asked before looking at her hands. (My hands are smaller.) She thought to herself. "Hey, Ginge." One of the boys said to the girl sitting on a pile of bodies. "I believe that this pipsqueak is not only weak but brain damaged." He added with a laugh. "Shut up." She said while hopping off the pile off bodies. "I promised her sister I would look out for her not act like a parent to a whiney six-year-old." She added while walking up to, Angela.

"I'm not whiney!" Angela protested before being backhanded by one of the boys. "Watch your tongue brat." He said before pulling her hair. "I think she needs a lesson in manners." The other boy said before punching her in the stomach while the other yanked her head back by her hair. "Aren't you going to protect me?" Angela asked, Ginge before taking another bow to her midsection. "I don't have time for weaklings." She replied before flying off. "It's time to have fun." The boy said before commencing to beat her.

"Stop!" Angela screamed out while sitting up quickly. "Are you alright my mistress?" Tanya asked while rushing to her side. "I'm fine." Angela replied before, Crissa pulled her into a hug with tears in her eyes. "What's wrong?" Angela asked while, Crissa sobbed. "Your dreams are hurting you." She replied. "Such horrible things are done to you." She added. "They're only bad dreams." Angela said reassuringly before turning her attention to, Tanya.

"How did your hunt fare?" Angela asked. "I got one boar and I also skinned and cleaned it while you rested." She replied. "Very well, let's continue to our next stop before dark." Angela said while standing up and picking up her sword. "By the way I noticed that you're the first person I met that hasn't brought up my tail." Angela said while looking at, Tanya. "I believe whether my mistress has a tail or not is meaningless I only live to serve you." She replied bluntly. "Good to know I get tired of people asking me about my tail." Angela said with a sigh. "Let's get going." Angela said before they made their way out of the forest.

Later that night after setting up camp and getting a fire ready, Tanya was roasting the boar while the other were fetching more fired wood and water from the nearby creek. "The breeze feels good." Angela said while, Crissa filled up a bucket with water. "It is." Crissa replied. "Let's head back to camp I'm starving." Angela said while picking up the wood before they walked back to camp.

"Dinner is ready." Tanya said while they walked up to the camp. "Good I'm starved." Angela replied while placing the wood near the fire. "Here's the water." Crissa said while handing, Tanya the water. "Thank you." She replied while taking the bucket and placing it near the fire.

While Tanya prepared their food, a woman dressed in the order of Whispers came out of the darkness causing, Tanya to draw her pistol. "I have a message for you from your betrothed." She said while pulling out a rolled parchment. "When did the order of Whispers become a parcel delivery?" Angela asked while taking the parchment but received no response before she vanished into the darkness. "Let's see what he has to say." Angela said while unrolling the parchment.

"My dearest, Angela.

How is your journey to be the strongest? I pray it is fruitful and you will bring many stories back with you and perhaps after we have children of our own you can tell them about your exploits. I hear you got yourself a sylvari companion perhaps she will continue serving you after we are wed and keep in mind that you are not by any means allowed to be approached by other men or they will be dealt with by the whispers agent we hired to keep an eye on you. I will write again soon so you had better have a letter written in reply before receiving my next so for now keep to the contract and come back alive.

"You never told me that you are engaged to the son of the Lanzetti family." Tanya said while watching, Angela as she tossed the parchment into the fire. "I signed a contract in a moment of weakness." Angela replied with a sigh. "You made a good decision and when you marry into their family, I will still serve you and your husband faithfully." She said while, Crissa gave her a look of disgust. "Knowing him he will just make you a concubine." Angela stated while crossing her arms. "I will do my best to service my future master." She replied. "Let's just eat dinner and get some sleep." Angela said with an irritated groan before, Tanya went back to serving dinner.

After informing the Vigil that the pirate threat had been dealt with, they finally continue with their journey to Snowden and after a few days of travel they arrive at its snow-covered lands with a fort in view about a mile away. "Good thing we bought this gear it's cold out here." Angela said while shivering. "Worry not mistress I will keep you warm." Tanya said while wrapping her arms around, Angela from behind. "If you do that I can't walk." Angela replied. "We should head towards that fort for now." Crissa suggested. "Sounds good." Angela replied before they started walking.

"Halt!" A male Norn said at the gate. "State your business." He added. "We're looking for a place to warm up." Angela replied. "Then hurry up inside there is a storm approaching." He said before they walked inside. "What brings two humans and a sylvari to the cold wasteland?" A Norn in fur lined armor asked. "Just traveling and sharpening my skills." Angela replied. "You had better get inside I will have my daughter escort you to a spare room." He said before opening the door.

"Freya." He called from the doorway. "Yes father." She replied before making her way to the door. "These three need a place to stay until the storm clears." He said while she watched, Angela shiver. "Of course, I will take them to the spare room with the fireplace." She replied before gesturing them to follow.

"How long do these storms last?" Angela asked while they walked up the stairs. "At times, a few hours or on rare occasions a few days." Freya replied. "You seem rather short for a Norn." Tanya pointed out causing, Freya to stop walking. "That was rather rude." Crissa said bluntly. "If you wish to stay on my good side do not say that again." She said while glaring over her shoulder at, Tanya. "Of course, my apologies." Tanya replied with a bow. "Forgive my servant I will reprimand her later." Angela said while they walked up the stairs until the approached a door.

"Here is your room I will fetch when dinner is ready." Freya said before taking her leave. "I'll get the fire going." Crissa said after they walked into a room with white walls, dark red carpeted floors, one window, a large bed with thick blankets, a small table with four chairs, a bookcase with a few books, an oak desk and a stone fireplace.

"Not much for décor but it's better than freezing." Angela said while taking a seat on the bed. "Is there anything you desire of me my mistress?" Tanya asked while standing in front of, Angela. "Do you still wish to reprimand me?" She asked. "No." Angela replied with a sigh. "It was rather rude to point that out." She added bluntly. "Of course, I will know my place in the future." Tanya replied with a bow. "Good to hear." Angela said with a smile. "I am going to take a nap and warm up if you don't mind." She added while slipping off her gear and getting under the warm covers.

"I will start working on what travel expenses we have." Tanya said while picking up her travel bag and taking a seat at the desk before pulling out some parchment and a pen. "What should I do?" Crissa asked after placing more wood into the fireplace. "Keep my mistress warm." Tanya replied while pulling coin out from a pouch and counting it then writing it down. "Come lay with me." Angela said while lifting the covers with a smile. "Of course." Crissa replied while removing her gear then getting under the covers and pulling, her in close while pressing, Angela's face against her breasts. "Rest well my beloved." She said while feeling, Angela's warm body against hers. "Thank you." Angela replied before falling into slumber.

"Mother!" Angela said while suddenly waking up to find, Crissa stroking the back of her head. "It's okay you're safe I won't let anyone hurt you." She said before, Angela cried into her chest. "You have such terrible dreams I couldn't imagine what your life was like." Crissa said before, Angela looked at her. "You can see my dreams?" Angela asked. "I have seen them for a long time." Crissa replied. "I know that you're not of this world and how you lost your family." She added. "I would ask of you to mot speak of this to anyone." Angela said while looking her in the eyes. "I promise not to betray your trust." Crissa replied with a smile before the door opened.

"Dinner is ready." Tanya announced after walking in. "We will be right down." Angela replied while getting out of bed and getting dressed. "I will inform our hosts my mistress." She said before taking her leave. "It feels weird having a servant." Angela said while getting dressed. "You still haven't gotten used to it?" Crissa asked. "No." Angela replied. "I'm sure at some point she will find someone better to serve." She added while slipping on her boots.

"Welcome take a seat." He said while his daughter, Freya sat next to him. "My apologies for not introducing myself. My name is, Asmolfr and this is my wife, Astrid." He said while gesturing to his wife. "It's a pleasure." She said with a smile. "I'm, Angela Skybourne, this is, Crissa." Angela replied with a smile. "Your servant, Tanya has been a great help." Astrid said while, Tanya served up dinner. "It's the least I can do for taking us in." Tanya replied.

"Let's eat before our dinner gets cold." Freya suggested before they started eating. "Tell us, Angela where do you hail from?" Asmolfr asked. "EbonHawke." She replied. "That is quite the journey." Astrid stated. "What brings you so far from home?" She asked. "I'm on a training journey." Angela replied. "You appear rather young for a training journey." He pointed out. "I'm eleven years old." Angela replied. "I take it that this sylvari is your guardian?" Astrid asked. "I suppose you can put it that way." Angela replied while looking at, Crissa.

"Where do you plan on heading?" Astrid asked. "Eventually south towards Orr." Angela replied. "We're taking the long way for not only training I also want to see the world." She added. "I wouldn't go to Orr if I were you." He said while crossing his arms. "The undead dragon's risen army is terrifyingly powerful." Freya added. "Sounds exciting." Angela said with a grin. "I'm not sure exciting is the word I would use." Freya replied with a sigh. "Don't mind her she just loves to fight." Crissa stated with a smile. "That's an odd hobby." Astrid replied.

"The storm is rather strong tonight." Freya said while hearing the roof creak along with the sounds of the wind hitting the walls. "Let's finish up dinner and head to bed with hopes that the storm will pass by morning." He suggested before they all returned to their meal.

That night, Angela sat in front of the fireplace wrapped in a blanket while holding a hot cup of tea until, Tanya walked up then got under the covers and wrapped her arms around, Angela from behind. "Will this warm you up mistress?" She asked while, Angela sat back against her breasts. "You're too good to me." Angela replied before, Crissa walked in with some wood. "I wish to only serve you, my mistress." She said while running her fingers through, Angela's hair.

"It's my job to keep my beloved warm." Crissa said while sitting down next to, Angela and pulling her away from, Tanya. "I will keep my mistress warm." Tanya replied while pulling, Angela back. "Look how about you both keep me warm." Angela suggested. "As you wish mistress." Tanya replied while allowing, Crissa to scoot in close. "There no more fighting." Angela said while they snuggled in close. "Let's head to bed after I finish my tea." Angela suggested after taking a drink. "Hopefully, the storm will let up by morning." Crissa replied. "Come along mistress let's get you into bed." Tanya said while picking her up.

"Who gets to hold her tonight?" Crissa asked while pulling back the blankets. "It's my turn." Tanya replied while getting undressed. "Then hurry up I'm getting cold." Angela said before, Tanya got under the covers and pulled her in close. "Naked again I see." Angela pointed out while feeling, Tanya's bare breasts against her back. "Not completely I am still wearing panties." She replied causing, Angela to blush. "Do you want me to service you, my mistress?" She asked while rubbing her finger around, Angela's lips. "No, thank you." Angela replied. "As you wish milady." She said before kissing, Angela on the side of her neck. "Good night, Crissa." Angela said while taking her hands. "Good night." She replied before they fell into slumber.

After waking, Angela got out of bed and looked out the window and saw a bright blue sunny sky with what appeared to be a massive frozen lake in the distance. "Good morning mistress." Tanya said before getting out of bed. "Wake, Crissa we're leaving soon." Angela said before there was a knock at the door. "Time for breakfast." Freya announced after opening the door and found them packing.

"Will you be leaving today?" She asked. "I won't be able to train if I stay here." Angela replied while, Crissa sat up in bed and rubbed her eye. "Can we have breakfast first?" Crissa asked before yawning. "We will be right down for breakfast." Angela said. "I will help you prepare." Tanya offered while following, Freya out of the room.

After breakfast they said their goodbye before finally making out into the snowy wasteland and as they walked down the snow packed road there were other travelers with carts being pulled by what, Tanya explained to them as dolyaks. As they continued further down the road there was a pack of what looked ice covered dogs and a few Norn attacking a travelling merchant before they looked at each other and dashed to the scene.

"You will surrender your goods to Jormag." One of the said after pushing the merchant aside. "You Sons of Svanir are a blight." The merchant said angrily before one of them were taken out with a headshot. "We're under attack." Another one of the Sons of Avanir called out to the others causing more to come just to be thinned out by, Angela and Crissa.

"Time to die human!" One of them said while taking a swing at, Angela just for her to swiftly lop off his arm followed by his head with a cascade of blood to follow turning the snow red. At the same time, Crissa had her hands full with about four of them before quickly dashing at one and thrusting her sword into the chest of the closest Norn then dashing back after he fell on the ground.

"Stupid plant." Another Svanir said while dashing at her with an ax just to be taken down with a headshot followed by two more taking out the other Svanir. "Good thing she is on our side." Crissa said while sheathing her sword. "We're down to the last one." Angela said while walking up next to, Crissa. "You'll never defeat, Jormag!" The Svanir yelled out before drinking what appeared to be a vial of blood causing his to transform in an ice-covered beast. "That's not good." Crissa said while drawing her sword. "Death to Jormag's enemies!" It yelled before ripping off the merchant's head then charging at, Angela in a murderous rage.

"Not good!" Angela said while jumping back and launching a blast of energy at it followed by an explosion after impact. "You got it!" Crissa said with a cheer, but the creature still charged towards, Angela with a greater speed until it was stopped with shots fired to its head and chest. "Your puny weapons will not work on the power of Jormag." It boasted with a laugh. "Then take this!" Angela said after a burst of white energy enveloped her body. "Now stay right there." She added while creating balls of energy in both hands as she gets bigger and bigger, and the ground started to shake.

"Your puny attack is nothing to Jormag." It said while walking forward. "Take this…. Grand finisher!" Angela yelled out before she let loose a huge blast of energy slamming in it. "What are you?" it asked before being engulfed by the energy and reduced to ashes. "We won!" Crissa said while cheering. "That took a lot out of me." Angela said after falling on her knees. "Will you be alright?" Crissa asked while kneeling next to her. "We should take this cart to the nearest fort." Angela suggested before, noticing Tanya.

"We're going to take this cart to the nearest fort." Crissa said while grabbing the reigns on the dolyak. "Hopefully, we will get to one before dark." Angela replied before they started down the road.

As the sun was setting, they approached a small fort near the ice-covered lake and while they made their approach a male Norn walked up to them. "Are you merchants?" He asked while looking over the wagon. "No, the owner was killed by the son's of svanir." Tanya replied. "Then those must be the supplies we requested." He said while, Crissa handed him the reigns.

"We should get going that way we can make camp before dark." Angela said before they started walking. "Best of luck on your travels." He said while waving. "Where to?" Crissa asked. "Judging from the map there is a cave about two hours North." Tanya replied while looking at it before placing it in her travel bag. "I wonder if there will be more strong enemies like the one, we fought today?" Angela wondered while they walked. "I hope not that was rather scary." Crissa replied. "You weren't that scared about the risen we fought when we first met." Angela stated while placing her hands behind her head. "That thing was new to me considering that I am used to fighting risen." Crissa replied.

"Well, you had better get used to fighting new foes then." Angela said. "I will fight for you no matter the enemy." Tanya declared. "That I have no doubt." Angela replied while, Crissa puffed out her cheeks with frustration. "I'll fight for you as well." She declared while drawing her sword. "I know you will." Angela replied while taking her hand.

After the entered the cave, Tanya was busy getting camp set up by getting a fire started with the dry wood she gathered on the way then gathering water for a small pond inside the cave along with catching some fish before making her way back to the others to find that they had set up shelter and has their beds set up.

"What's for dinner?" Angela asked. "Grilled fish." Tanya replied while sliding sticks into the fish's mouths. "I'm going to get some sleep." Crissa said before making her way to where the beds are. "Good night." Angela said with a smile. "Good night." She replied.

Sometime later, Tanya served up the fish from which, Angela quickly partook and while she ate, Tanya just watched with a smile. "Aren't you going to eat?" Angela asked. "Of course, milady." She replied before taking a bite of fish. "What is our next destination?" Tanya asked. "I suppose our next destination will be Wayfarer." Angela replied. "That will be nearly a month's travel." Tanya said while looking the map over. "That's fine we can train on the way." Angela replied with a grin. "As you wish milady." Tanya said with a smile.

"Here's to the journey ahead." Angela said while holding a cup of water. "To the journey ahead." Tanya replied with a smile before they returned to their meal.
