While Adrien met up with Nino and Alya to get information on Lila's stories, Danny waited at the gate. He heard the bell ring and watched as everyone but Lila headed in. Lila herself glared at Danny, he glared back, activating his glow eyes, startling the girl. As she rubbed at her eyes, Danny ceased the glowing making sure she saw nothing but her imagination. He smiled as Lila shook her head and walked away.

Marinette came up to the school, not running like she would normally do when late. When she saw Danny, he turned to face her. "What are you waiting for?"

"You." he said simply, "Figured there may be a way to get Lila to back off."

"Thank you." she was surprised by this action.

"Also letting you know. I have two other friends back in the states that are looking into Lila's stories. Not that she knows."

"Unless Mr. Damocles knows the truth as well, he won't see it as proof, only accusations."

"Except, he does." Danny turned her towards the lockers. "He wasn't told soon enough to prevent the lies from cementing. If we can get enough proof to counter what she's already told everyone, then she'll have no choice. Either attempt to get out of more lies or tell the truth."

"She already said that she has a disease that causes her to lie."

Danny stopped, dumbfounded, "I'm definetly calling my sister." At Marinette's confusion he laid a hand on her shoulder. "She's studying to be a psychologist at a very well-known school. She can ask the right questions to her professors. We'll get her, it may be a while, but you have me, my friends, sister, and Adrien."

The two took their time to get to class. Marinette kept looking at the boy in the corner of her eye, wondering about his kindness and determination. She looked over as he began to turn the knob and witnessed a blue mist come from his mouth, followed by his groan. "What was that?'

"Sudden chill."

Once seated and ignored by everyone, the door was slammed open by nothing. Everyone was startled, whispering the cause being an akuma. Beside her, she heard Danny whisper, "Not Now."

Instead of asking him questions, she waited to see what he'll do. It was a few more minutes later when a sudden shill took over the class, she could see the hairs on her arm standing on end.

Danny shifted beside her and pulled out a thermos and what appeared to be a gun.

"What are you doing?" she asked, terrified of her judgment being wrong.

"Relax." he soothed, "It doesn't hurt humans, ghosts on the other hand…kinda burns, I guess."

Then Lila's scream as she was spun around by a green octopus, vibrated the windows and hurt some ear drums, some people covering their ears. Once the spinning stopped Danny stood and took aim. Firing twice, the first missed startling the ecto-puss into dropping Lila and the second made it slam against the wall. Taking the chance, he sucked the ghost up into the thermos.

The class recovered, Alya turned to a shaking Lila while the ret of the class turned to Danny glaring at the thermos while putting the ecto-gun away.

"What-what was that?" Bustier asked as she helped Alya put Lila back to her seat.

"A common, low level ghost, an ecto-puss." Danny suddenly thought of something, a half-truth. "That is why you don't tell others about your story about how the ghost boy gave you special attention. You never know who or what could be listening in."

"Why do you have a weapon in school?" Bustier asked, as she walked up the steps, holding out a hand for his bag.

He handed it over without complaint, "My parents wouldn't agree in letting me come to Paris without some sort of protection."

"Against the akumas?"

"They didn't know if it would work or not, if was a precaution."

She handed his bag back after checking the rest of the contents. "After what happened, I won't report it to Damocles. Just don't bring it out anymore."

"So, there are more dangerous ghosts, than that?" Alya spoke up, journal in hand.

"Many more." Danny drown out the stares of the class, remembering the fights, threats, and close calls.

Everyone was ashen at that thought.

"Oh, please. You're lying." Lila stated, still trying to get over the attack from earlier.

There was a mechanical noise that had Danny immediately standing up and looking around.

"What's wrong?" Marinette asked.

"Child, this is where you are hiding?" an echoed voice called from the room. A whirring noise had them all look up to see a large metal mechanical suit with a flaming green mohawk. Glowing red circuit lines crossed all over the suit and one led to a blaster that was aimed directly towards Danny.

"Skulker!" he shouted, missing he fear in everyone else who've begun to exit the room. "New suit?"

"A gift, by Hawkmoth." the singular name had two people turning back around in shock. "Now there is nothing for you to do. I, Skulker, shall finally have your pelt at the foot of my bed!"

Danny gulped as Skulker phased them through the floor into the basement. Just as a blade appeared a pink blast hit the hunter in the back. After transforming, Danny looked back to Vlad keeping Skulker from him. Phasing back to open skies, he landed on a roof to take a breather.

"Who are you?" Ladybug asked Phantom when she landed beside him. Not a moment later Chat landed crouched on all fours.

"Phantom." he answered.

A loud explosion hat them turning back to the school, a portion of the wall was missing as Plasmius skidded across the roof, before coming to a stop.

"You're helping?" Phantom asked, confusing the other two.

"he's stronger than before and cut off the connection between the akuma and Hawkmoth."

"That's not good." Chat whistled while Danny mentally questioned how he knew that.

A blast of red missed Chat by a hair as Ladybug pulled him away with her yo-yo.

"You know him best, how do we defeat him?" she swung her yo-yo in circles to shield them.

Phantom eyed Plasmius as he held up a shield just as the heroine was knocked off her feet. "destroy the suit."

"Chat's Cataclysm can do that."

Plasmius disappeared then reappeared as he blasted Skulker away from the three teens.

"I know there's a probability that he has sensors to track not only me but you as well. I don't know how much stronger-" he stopped as he saw three drones fly their way. "That's new." he mumbled as he grabbed the two to move away.

"Do you know if his own attacks will hurt him?"

Phantom looked towards the blue haired girl in thought, "Usually yes, but in this state, I don't know."

"You, chat, and the other need to see if that works." she swung away and called upon her powers, only for a rubber and to appear. "Buy me some time."

Chat and Danny got the drones to fire at them just as they passed by Skulker who was trying to get rid of Plasmius.

Chat landed next to Ladybug who managed to make a giant slingshot. "What the plan?"
"Hit the drones to me and I'll hit Skulker with them, after the third one immediately destroy the suit with your cataclysm."

Once the suit was destroyed, ladybug left with barely enough time to preserve her identity. Chat came up to the ghosts to see that Skulker was just a tiny blob. He left after his curiosity was sated.

"What are you planning?" Phantom asked, keeping a close eye on his enemy. "You're not one to help."

"Now, Daniel, without me nobody would've been able to stop Skulker's rampage on you."

"How do you even know about the cut connection between the akuma and Hawkmoth?"

"Use your head." Plasmius fired at him, knocking him on his back.

Sitting up, ready to fire back only to stop at the lack of target. A ringing in the background had him flying back to the school, landing in a nearby alleyway. Making sure no one was looking down his way, returned as he dropped his transformation. At the same time he watched Chat Noir drop his, revealing Adrien Agreste and a small floating cat that increased his senses. The two boys stare at each other, not sure what to say or do.

"I want cheese!" Plagg yelled snapping the two out of it, and quietly making their way back to school.
