Bella stood outside the building trying to blend in with the crowd. The Captain had texted her a few minutes ago saying he had made it inside. She was glad that he was keeping true to his work and was letting her know what was going on.

Suddenly the loud speakers inside and outside the building came on.

The Captain's voice coming out loud and clear for all to hear, "Attention all S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. This is Steve Rogers. You've heard a lot about me over the last few days. Some of you were even ordered to hunt me down. But I think it's time you know the truth. S.H.I.E.L.D. is not what we thought it was. It has been taken over by HYDRA. Alexander Pierce is their leader. The S.T.R.I.K.E. and Insight crew are HYDRA as well. We don't know how many more, but I know they're in the building. They could be standing right next to you. They almost have what they want: absolute control. They shot Nick Fury, and it won't end there. If you launch those Heli carriers today, HYDRA will be able to kill anyone that stands in their way. They must be stopped. I know I'm asking a lot. The price of freedom is high; it always has been. But it's a price I'm willing to pay. And if I'm the only one, then so be it. But I'm willing to bet I'm not.? "

Hydra? That must be the bad guys, the ones hurting Bucky. Bella seethed. Bastards she thought.

She noticed everyone inside through the large glass windows looking confused. It was like a standoff. Suddenly people were fighting and shooting. Bella hid and watched. She could tell from their actions who was good and bad. There wasn't much she could do from outside but she used her shield quickly putting it up and dropping it down to save as many good guys as she could while also conserving her energy. There was no telling what else was going to happen today.

Alarms starting blaring and Bella heard water rushing. She turned to see doors appearing out of the body of water in front of the building. Hatches were opening and large odd-looking planes were flying out.

Bella quickly texted the Captain, 'People are fighting back but the Heli carriers are still launching.'

'On it!' He replied quickly

Bella continued blocking bullets secretly till she heard an explosion. She looked over near the air crafts to see the Captain running along trying to stop who she assumed was HYDRA guards. More explosions above her head made her look up to see Wings flying around attempting to land on an aircraft she guessed but they were trying to shoot him out of the sky. Bella took off trying to get to high ground. If she could just get a little higher maybe she could help. There was a parking garage several stories high so she ran there. She took and elevator to the top floor, from here she could see better and tried to block some of the canon fire from Wings with her own shield. She was so going to be caught after this. Bella focused as hard as she could, the best she could do was make a quick wall before a canon fire got too close to wings, causing it to explode before it hit him. The shockwaves still blew him back but it was better than blowing him up. She wished she could focus her shield around him but she wasn't good enough for that with the way his wings constantly moved.

Eventually he was able to get close enough to land. "YES!" She fist pumped.

Bella watched Wings fly onto the ship than fly off. His job done. Gun fire below grabbed her attention. Bella's breath caught. "He's here…" She whispered. Bucky took out several planes on the ground before taking off in one himself headed in the direction she last saw the Captain.

She reached for her phone sending the Captain a warning, 'Bucky's here, headed towards you.'

'Thanks Bella'

Bella began pacing. Damn it she needed to be up there but it was impossible. She felt useless.

She took the elevator back down and ran to where she could be closer to the heli carrier Steve was on.

She stood on a bridge that was under the heli carrier. "No no no!" The guns dropped down and moved about aiming at civilians for only a moment before the guns moved to target the other heli carriers. Some how she thought that was worse. Bella knew Steve and Bucky were still aboard the one floating above her. "Please." They had to be okay.

Canon's sounded, the ships blasting each other. Flames and explosions shooting off. She watched helplessly as the ship slightly spun and started falling from the sky.

The two other ships crashed hard back into the water. The third, the one she knew they were on started to spiral faster. She didn't know if this would kill her but she couldn't let him die. She couldn't let Steve die either. Bella had seen the pain and the love in Steve's eyes for Bucky. If she died at least she had saved his life just as he had saved hers. The ship got closer and Bella extended her shield out wrapping it around part of the bottom. She pushed it upwards as hard as she could. It felt like her head would explode but she didn't quit. Bella held her hands up in the air screaming her pain, her agony as she used every bit of her power to slow the ships descent. She fell to her knees, blood dripping from her nose and still she held on. It was working.

She gasped it felt like her lungs were on fire, her body felt like it was ripping apart. Blood dripped down her face and body, she no longer knew where it came from. Her vision was getting blurry but when noticed a body falling from the plane now that it was closer to the ground. A body dressed in all blue.

"Steve…." She groaned. Another body right behind him, she recognized the shine. "Bucky…."

Bella let go of the ship and right before she blacked she reached out slowing their fall into the river next to her as a part of the ship fell off landing near her on the bridge causing the ground beneath her to give way. Than last thing she felt before her eyes closed was the cold of the water wrapping around her body. Bella was tired and then the world was dark.
