I don't know a lot about the orchestra, I have never been in one. I do play the violin and the piano.

Saving The Orchestra

"Remember everyone please don't forget your sheet music Vivaldi Four Seasons: Spring tomorrow, I don't want a repeat of the autumn recital" said Apollo.

"To my defense I didn't mean to make the entire orchestra mess up." said Leo.

Piper smiled, she remembered that autumn recital like it was yesterday. Leo forgot his sheet music for Ode to Joy, so he had to print a new one. Somehow Leo printed off La Bamba by Ritchie Valens. So when the entire orchestra started playing Ode to Joy, Leo was playing La Bamba. Most of the orchestra stopped playing, but Leo kept on playing his violin. Apollo almost had a heart attack due to Leo that day.

"Anyway please remember your sheet music, everyone one but the first chairs can leave for the day."

Six kids got up and left, one of which was Leo.

Piper stayed behind since she was first chair for the violas. Three other people stayed: one was Annabeth since she was first chair for the violin, one was Jason since he was first chair for the cello and Nico since he was the only person in the orchestra who played the bass .

"If the Spring concert goes wrong there is a good chance the orchestra would have to close, we are already missing two violins, three cellos, a bass and two violas." Apollo said

"I'll make sure to talk with Leo so he won't forget his sheet music again" Piper said, she would make sure to bring an extra copy of the violin's sheet music.

"Leo stand partner is Hazel so is he does forget, she'll have the sheet music" Annabeth

Apollo nodded. "Jason I'll need your help making sure everyone is ready fifteen minutes. Annabeth keep making practicing your solo"

Jason and Annabeth nodded.

"Practice please, the fate of orchestra lays on your bows children" Apollo said

With that everyone nodded and left the room.

"A major scale, violins." said Annabeth. The violinists quickly followed Annabeth's directions.

"F minor scale, cellos." said Jason. The cellists quickly followed Jason's directions.

"E flat major, violas." said Piper. The violists quickly followed Piper's directions.

"Where is Hazel?" Annabeth asked as the violins kept playing scales "I need her, we're on in less than twenty minutes"

"I don't know, Nico is also missing," Jason said.

"I don't think they have been late before." Piper mentioned.

Apollo walked into the room, the look on his face read that something was wrong.

"I just got off of the phone with Nico. Hazel is not feeling good so Nico is going to stay with her at their home" Apollo.

"Does that mean that we will have no one on bass and be missing one violin?" Piper asked.

"Yes, it does." Apollo said.

"Where is Leo? Asked Annabeth.

"I'm not, sure hopefully he will get here soon" Apollo said

"Well the show must go on! The orchestra has gone through worse and it has always survived." Annabeth said.

Jason and Piper agreed with Annabeth and nodded.

"We must keep practicing, we're on in about ten minutes!"

Annabeth got the violins to start practicing, Jason got the cellos to start practicing, Piper was going to start practicing when Leo ran in with his violin case.

"Piper I need your help" Leo said, he was out of breath.

"What's wrong?" Piper asked.

"I broke a string..."

"Oh crap. We go on in ten minutes..."

"Do you have a string I can use?"

"No viola strings won't work on violins."

"What should I do?" Asked Leo.

"You have to see it Annabeth has a string?" Piper said.

"Okay" said Leo as he ran off towards Annabeth.

"We are on in seven minutes!" yelled Apollo "Places everyone!"

The kids scrambled around.

Annabeth was trying to put a string on Leo's violin.

Soon everyone was in their places

"Remember everyone, and for the love of music play like the life the orchestra's life depends on you playing because it does!" said Apollo

With that the curtain raised.

It was a miracle that nothing bad went on while the orchestra was playing Vivaldi Four Seasons: Spring. The song did not sound did not exactly right since they were missing a base, but still it sounded good.

By the time the entire orchestra got back to their room. There was a long line standing outside the door.

"What are all these people doing here?" asked Piper.

"We want to join the orchestra." Said a boy with sea green eyes and jet black hair. "Are there any spots available?"

"I think we saved the orchestra." Said Jason.

"We need to host auditions." said Apollo.

"Yeah, we also are going to need a bigger room" said Leo as he looked at the line of people wanting to join the orchestra.
