Continuing from our woman's kiss! Turns out that this may be shorter than I expected, but I'll prolong the journey in their relationship! Happy reading:) I do NOT own these characters!

Chapter 6

The sun glistened, peaking its rays through the blinds of the motel. Regina was the first to wake up of them both. Her fingers skimmed her lips, remembering the night before.

Turning her head, she caught sight of a peaceful blonde beside her. Her golden locks sprawled across the pillow, and her body close to her side of the bed. No wonder she began to grow hot.

"Emma." Whispering in the woman's ear.

"Hm." The blonde grumbled back, nuzzling her body closer to Regina's unintentionally.

Slap!

"Ow- what the shit Regina?!" Emma gasped, sitting up clutching her cheek in pain.

"I asked you to wake up, and then you continued to molest me in your sleep." Regina said nonchalantly, climbing out of bed towards the bathroom.

"Get up, Emma." The brunette demanded from the bathroom. How is this woman even seeing her from in there?

"Ok, ma'am-"

"I mean it." She halted from the door, holding a glass of water in her hand in a threatening manner. Ultimately causing the blonde to jump to her actions.

They hadn't talked to each other after that, apart from awkward silences and glances at each other. It was going to be a long day.

They had both made it outside and packed their luggage in the black Mercedes, Regina shifted in her seat and looked at Emma directly.

"Care to explain what happened last night?" Her voice sounded bitter.

Emma somehow looked worried, turning to Regina, she gave a concerned look.

"Uh.. What are you talking about?"

"You kissed me Emma." She bit out, almost angry that she wasn't able to remember her hurtful actions towards the brunette.

Emma looked speechless to say the least.

"You're sure?"

"Yes I'm sure." Regina glared at the woman.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't-"

"You're right, you shouldn't have." The vein in her forehead looked as if it would burst at any given moment. Jesus, she looked terrifying when she was angry.

"Regina, I was drunk and wasn't thinking straight." She pleaded, grasping the brunettes hand, only for it to be snatched away.

"So that's it? I'm nothing more than your drunken little secret? You're really working magic here, Emma." She bit out, now looking out of the car window. She couldn't bare to look at the woman she was now furious at.

"Look-" The blonde began, grasping the brunettes face, turning it towards her.

"I don't mean to offend you Regina. I'm so sorry that happened okay? I wouldn't have done it without good reason right?" Emma truly cared for Regina. But she didn't necessarily trust her yet. Nor did the brunette towards her.

"Don't do it again, Emma. It was a pathetic decision." She mumbled.

"Okay, I promise I won't." A small smile grew on Emma's face.

Regina moved away from the blondes touch and quickly opened the door on her side and got out. Emma swung open hers and yelled out to the brunette.

"Hey! Wait, where are you going?"

"Will you keep it down? I'm just returning the key to the front desk. If I see you step out of this car, I will kill you. Do you understand?" She answered impatiently.

"Well can I have the keys to turn on the air con?" The blonde handed out her hand to take the keys.

"That's not going to happen."

"Fine, can you get me a coffee? I need to wake up a little-"

"If they have it. I'll see." Regina replied, closing Emma's door, and walking towards the motel.

"Hello, Good morning. I'd like to check out of room 102." She placed down the card, and looked up to the receptionist.

"Did you enjoy your stay, ma'am?" The woman from behind the desk asked, bringing out a clipboard to sign.

"No." She smiled sarcastically.

"That's good." The receptionist chuckled.

Regina picked up the pen, and signed at the designated areas.

"Do you happen to sell coffee?" She asked.

"Yes, would you like some ma'am?"

"Not today." She breathed out. So unfortunate for Emma.

"Uhh." A groan came from the blondes mouth, as she opened the door, and stretched out her legs. Regina was just plain spiteful. She couldn't breath in that damn car.

The skidding sounds of a car made its way in front of Emma. A man approached her. Oh my god. She recognised him.

Killian Jones.

Grabbing her swiftly, the man took her by the arms and swung her over his shoulder, throwing her directly into the back of his van. The sound of muffled screams coming from Emma, filled the parking lot.

"If I'm correct, there should be a gas station just to the south of this ro-"

Regina's head snapped up to the sound of the screams from the voice she recognised immediately.

"Fuck you!" Emma yelled.

The brunette grabbed her keys, and ran outside to see what was happening.

Bang!

"Stay there!" The brunette yelled at the car which was now quickly moving away towards the road.

"Shit." She breathed out, getting into her car, and following the van who had just taken her thief hostage.

"Hello, love. I've got her." Killian laughed, still going full speed down a clear lane.

"I should be there in a few, is that good?" He replied to the muffled tone on the other line.

In the meantime, Regina had caught up on the side of him. Able to see his face from the open window.

"Excuse me! I need you to pull over. Right now!" She glared.

"No!" He yelled back, looking towards the front.

"Regina! Get me out of this shitty van!" Emma yelled from the side window, barely big enough to show her whole face.

"I'm trying!" Now she looked at the man again.

"I need you to pull over, I need her." Her voice louder than usual.

"Your girlfriend's in a lot of trouble-"

"She's not my girlfriend-"

"Regina watch out!" Emma screamed from the back, causing Regina to look ahead. Moving behind the van now. If it weren't for Emma, she wouldn't have seen the car ahead.

The cross roads came up ahead, causing the brunette to panic. The van she was trailing had only just made it through without getting smashed to pieces.

Abruptly turning her wheel, almost hitting two cars in the process, she heard her tires screech. As the sound of cars honking at her, she turned in the same lane as the van. Jesus.

Increasing speed, and becoming eye level with the van to the side again.

"I had her first. Pull over!"

"I'm afraid I can't do that, love." He smiled wickedly, steering his wheel into hers.

"Shit!" She yelled, almost tipping over. Getting back on track, she was furious.

"Regina! Ram him! Ram the quarter panel." Emma yelled from the window, pointing towards his wheel.

"You'll get hurt! I'm not doing that!" She yelled back.

The blonde shut the window, looking frustrated. She broke the lock by repeatedly smashing it with a hammer in the back. Opening the small hatch to the passenger seat.

"You son of a bitch!" The blonde mumbled, now punching him directly in the throat.

Thud.

The mans head hit the wheel signalling he was knocked unconscious.

"Shit." Emma hissed, now attempting to move his body off the wheel.

"Pull over to the side!" Regina signalled to Emma.

"I can't! Ram him!" She yelled at Regina.

"I'm not hurting you! Just try to pull over, Christ!

"I don't give a shit! Ram the damn panel, Regina!" The blonde yelled, still attempting to hold the wheel still.

Regina rammed the van slightly, not causing anything to happen.

"Hit it harder!" Getting frustrated at the brunette.

Regina growled, she couldn't take this anymore. She spun her steering wheel towards the van, into the back wheel.

The van spun, and flipped over multiple times - crushing the exterior of the van.

Regina's heart dropped as she watched it before her eyes. She stopped her car. It was as if everything was happening in slow motion.

She ran out to where the car was located, and opened the back doors immediately.

"Emma!" She screeched, as she found the blonde unconscious, with a gash on the side of her head, blood staining the woman's face.

She instantly dragged the woman out of the van, onto the ground.

"Emma. Wake up." She gently tapped the blondes pale face.

"Emma!" Her eyes began to sting, as tears dared to spill down her cheeks.

She had just killed Emma.

Wrapping her arms around the woman's form, taking her into a bone crushing hug. Her face nuzzled in the blondes neck.

She let out a cry, her tears falling eventually.

"Ow-" a whisper came from the blondes lips.

Regina pushed back immediately, cupping the blondes face.

"You're okay?!" She laughed lightly.

"Yeah, I'm all right. I'm okay." Shivered. Soon noticing that the brunette was on top of her, so it was clear why she couldn't move.

"You can let me go now, Gina." Emma breathed out, running circles on the brunettes back. The nickname caught Regina off guard. She pulled back once more, and both woman leaned in to close the small space between them.

Regina confirmed the kiss by kissing harder against pale ones, her hand snaking through blonde locks, pulling her closer.

They both pulled away, when it became essential for air. Hell. Regina almost lost the blonde and it nearly killed her. She was too deep.

"Sorry..." Emma began.

"Don't be, Emma." She breathed out, smiling slightly too.

"We should probably get some help-"

"You're right." The brunette made her way off of Emma's lap, holding her hand out to help the blonde stand up.

Emma looked around, and scanned the area, her eyes meeting the car.

"Your car doesn't have a scratch on it, that's good news." She huffed, taking off the lightly see through long sleeved jumper, leaving her in a white tank top. The brunette looked away, not wanting to look at the blondes muscles at all.

"I suppose you're right. The car does seem fine." Agreeing with the blonde. "I think what's more important is that-"

SMASH

The car they had just been talking about, had been crushed to pieces by a truck.

"Damn, my deodorant was in there.." Emma sighed, looking towards a shook brunette.

It had been over 2 hours, as Regina and Emma tracked down the road. Emma still had her backpack. It was Regina who had absolutely, nothing, apart from her phone... Or so she thought.

"Yes, darling. I'm still with her on course. We will be home soon I promise." She cooed down the line to a worried Henry.

"You're breaking up, Sweetheart. Hello?"

There was no answer, due to lack of signal. They were out in the middle of nowhere.

"How's everything going at home?" Emma asked nonchalantly.

"I'm not sure. We haven't gotten that far." The brunette mumbled.

"I should uh, thank you for saving me back there."

"Don't thank me, it was all you." She smiled slightly at the blonde.

"You're a good friend."

"I'm not your friend. Friends do not steal other friends identities." She snipped out.

"I already apologised-"

"I know that." There was a small silence, until Emma caught a glance of the smile across the brunettes face.

"You're going to hold it against me aren't you?" The blonde matched Regina's smirk.

"Every chance that I get."
