Hermione landed in Charlie's living room and looked in wonder at the cabin. Her eyes looking in every direction. The fireplace stood in the corner of the living room. A big brown leather couch facing the window and two love seats on each end, a round coffee table in the center. The walls covered in bookshelves. Books piled on top of each other. Books on dragons, Romania, all sorts, even some muggle books.

"Welcome to my home." Charlie grinned.

"Charlie it's wonderful!" Hermione gave a wide grin.

"Let me give you a tour." Charlie lead her across the room and into the kitchen. It was a spacious room with light brown cabinets in an L-form on the other side was a round kitchen table with 4 chairs around and a backdoor going out to the garden. Following Charlie down the hall there were 3 doors. The first one was Charlie's room. On the opposite side was the second bedroom where Hermione will be staying. A double bed stood in the middle of the room against the window. A study desk in the right corner next to the closet. On the other side of the room stood a navy blue love seat.

"Wow. Charlie this is lovely. You really don't mind me staying here?""No Mione. Been living here alone for quite some time. I'll love your company." Hermione gave him a tight hug.

"Thanks Mione." Charlie smiled.

"Put your stuff down, I will show you the bathroom, you can unpack later. And I will show you around the reserve."

That afternoon Charlie showed her around at the reserve. There was a white building where she would work as a healer. The building only had a couple of rooms. The biggest one was a room with 10 beds with only one occupied. Then you have the staff room, kitchen, bathroom and 3 separate rooms for long term patients. When they walked to the injured man a healer walked up behind them. Hermione turned around. A tall man mid 30's with short black hair stood in front of them.

"Hi Charlie! Oh you must be Hermione Granger. Heard a lot about you." Healer Funar smiled and shook their hands.

"Yes. Heard a lot about you to. Nice to meet you Healer Funar.""Call me Razvan. Why don't you come look at our patient today?" As he waved them over to the last bed.

In the bed lay a man about 25 years old with brown waving hair and piercing blue eyes. His lying in bed shirtless with a pained expression. He had a severe cut running from his right shoulder over his chest and stopped at his abdomen on the left.

"Nicolae." Charlie sighed and looked worried. "What happened?"The man named Nicolae tried to sit up but Razvan pushed him back down as he started attending his wound. Hermione watched fascinated at the wand work as the other two talked about what happened. After the wound started to heal Razvan updated his chart and gave it to Hermione who looked it over. After a pepper up potion Nicolae finally pulled himself up and sat right up on his bed.

"Hi. I'm Nicolae." He smiled and held out his hand. "You must be our new healer?" "

Yes. I will be filling in for Healer Funar. I'm Hermione Granger." She shook his hand

"We should be going. Still a lot to see." Hermione and Charlie turned to leave.

"See you later Healer Granger."

"Rather not. Wear you protection gear Nicolae." Charlie answered.

After the tour and dinner Hermione walked out in the garden with a quill and parchment as she sat down on a sunbed trying to write her letters.

But the view was too distracting. Every time she tried to write her gaze kept looking up. Charlie's cabin was surrounded by trees with a creek running down at the end of the garden. Mountains rising at her left and right. It was just perfect. The view wasn't the only thing that kept her from writing. After her quick departure she wanted to explain herself but she just didn't know what to write.

"I can hear you thinking from inside." Hermione jumped a little as Charlie appeared behind her and took his seat on the other sunbed next to her.

"Merlin! You scared me." Hermione's gaze flickered to the view before looking back at Charlie.

"I can see why you want to live here. It's so beautiful.""Yeah." Charlie looked around. "You never get tired of it. You should see it in the fall."

They both fell quiet as the took in the view.

"Mione? Can you tell me what happened?" Hermione dreaded this question. She was glad when he didn't ask any further at their arrival today. She sighed and looked down fumbling with her hands before she told him everything that happened. After Hermione was finished she looked up and saw Charlie frowning.

"I'm sorry Hermione. How are you feeling?"

"Good before you asked me what happened." She gave him a sad smile. He put his hand on her shoulder.

"It's just weird though." Hermione looked confused and raised an eyebrow at him. "It doesn't sound like Fred."

"Yeah like he is an innocent." She rolled her eyes. "You know his past.""I do. But Fred would never cheat."

"He didn't exactly. We weren't a couple."

"Maybe not officially but what you told me and how I know Fred feels about you. You might as well been." Hermione mulled it over for a sec before replying.

"Doesn't excuse what he did."

"No I know that. But maybe there is more to the story." Hermione huffed at that. "Have you talked to him about it?" She just shook her head.

"Maybe you should let him explain." Said Charlie as he got up and headed back to the cabin.

"Maybe." She sighed before returning to her letters.

Two hours later Apollo arrived at her bedroom window. He drank some water, ate some owl treats and turned in for the night putting his head under his wing. Hermione stroked his head and whispered.

"Ok. We will wait a couple of days." As she placed her letters on her nightstand and climbed into bed. He slept for two days after his arrival and then went exploring Romania before getting back. Apollo arrived at the burrow next Sunday.

Apollo ticked his beak against the window around three in the afternoon.

"APOLLO!" The long read headed witch yelled. Everyone at the table looked up and followed her gaze. Arthur got up and let the owl in. He flew on the counter and Arthur took the letter from his paw before giving him some treats.

"3 letters. Ginny, Harry, Ron." He past them each letter. Ginny took hers and she looked at her brother. Fred just looked back down to the table, hurt crossed his face. Ginny looked back at her letter and opened it.

Hi Ginny

I'm so sorry of how I left. I should have confided in you. Just like you do with me.

I know you don't have it easy either. You can always come visit me, you know I love you.

It is really beautiful here. I understand why Charlie wants to live here. Not only the view off course. The people here are also extremely nice (maybe it's because I am the one of the few woman here but I am used to that.)

But the dragons are... I just can't describe it. They are magnificent. This place, this job, it will be so hard to leave behind and I've only been here one day!

I can't wait to start working here. Charlie gave me a tour around the reserve and saw first hand what the dragons are capable of. Charlie's been great, he has a cabin in the woods surrounded by mountains and trees. It's amazing. I'm so grateful that he let me stay here.

If you want you can visit in two weeks time that Wednesday, it's my free day.

We made arrangements that you can use the floo network instead of a portkey.

I hope to see you then.

Give me love to all.

Love Hermione.

Ps: let Apollo rest for a day, he's beat.

Ginny passed the letter around the table. Just as Ron and Harry's. Molly was the last to read Ginny's letter.

"Oh I do hope she will come home and doesn't want to stay there.""It's probably just the excitement." Arthur reassured her but he didn't look convinced. Everyone on the table nodded but also weren't sure they believed it.

"It still doesn't explain why she left early without telling us." Ron looked at Harry who just shrugged.

"It was her decision. If she wants to tell us she will."

After dinner Fred went outside and walked to the pond and dropped down on the dock. Staring in the distance. "You ok?" Ginny and George sat down on either side of him.

"She might not come back." And blew out a trembling breath trying to calm down. Ginny grabbed his hand and gave it a squeeze.

"Freddie. She will come back! It's was just the excitement from the first day.""Yeah she's right. She can't leave her family behind."

"She has Charlie there and what if she meets someone? With all the men surrounding her." Ginny and George looked at each other over Fred his head who put his head in his hands.

"Charlie won't let it happen. He knows right?"

"Yeah but with what Hermione probably told him he might just push her in their direction.""Freddie. Charlie knows you. The real you! He knows you wouldn't do that to her." George patted him on the back and looked at his sister.

"Gin, I'm coming with you to visit her. Just don't tell her."

"I know you know something!" Harry accused Ginny a week after the letters arrived at the burrow at. They were standing in their kitchen. Harry's hand in the sink as he washed their plates.

"What?"

"About Hermione and why she left!"

"WHAT IF I DID? It's not my place to tell! Weren't you the one saying 'she will tell us when she is ready?!" Harry didn't know what to say. He opened his mouth and closed it again.

"I am you fiance! You tell me now!" Ginny's head became redder than her hair.

"EXCUSE ME? DO YOU REALLY THINK YOU CAN ORDER ME AROUND? YOU KNOW WHAT I DON'T HAVE A FIANCE! I DON'T EVEN HAVE A BOYFRIEND ANYMORE. I'M DONE!" With a swish of her wand her bags started to pack and levitate towards her. She shot and angry glare at Harry and raised her wand again.

"Bye Harry." And with a pop she's gone.

Fred and George where working on a new product when someone came bouncing on the door. "Keep your knickers on I'm coming!" George yelled as he got up. When he opened the door a wave of red hair flew in his arms.

"Ginny?" Fred stood up and walked towards them and she pulled one arm from George and hugged them both.

"What's wrong?"

"Harry and I broke up. We are done!" Fred and George looked with big and shocked eyes at each other. They let her to the couch and placed her between them.

"Tell us what happened." Ginny took a deep breath and told them what happened.

"Ginny why didn't you tell him? Now it's my fault you two broke up.""No, no Fred. It's not your fault. We have had issues for a long time. And this was just too much. Him thinking he could order me around. No! We tried for so long. I just can't bring myself to do so much work for something I'm not happy about. Fred, I wasn't happy anymore. It is definitely not your fault." She hugged her brother tight.

George walked to the kitchen and came back with a box of cookies, 3 glasses and a bottle of fire whiskey.

"To new beginnings." As he held out his glass to the others and they all drank it in one go.

"Do you mind if I stay here? Don't want mum all over me.""Sure Gin. I will crash on the couch." Before she can argue he filled another glass with fire whiskey.

Living with her brothers was fun. They didn't push the subject or tried to get them back together. When she was down they made her laugh. She just came back from Harry's as she stepped out of their fireplace.

"How did it go?" They asked in unison.

"Better than expected. We both realized it was just not meant to be. We are going to tell mum tomorrow.""We will be right beside you." Fred said as he saw her face fell at the mention of their mum. "Yeah. You're not alone."

"Thanks." As she pulled them into a hug.

"I'm going to pack my stuff."

"What?!"

"Where are you going?"

"I'm going to stay at Hermione's place. I don't want to trouble you anymore." She put her hand up before they could argue.

"No I need this. I will check on you when I can. I have extra practices this week because we leave for Romania in 4 days. So I will be busy but I'll see you tomorrow and will stay here Tuesday night."

"Ok. But if you need -"

"Anything you come to us-"

"Even if it's for something small." Fred finished.

"I promise. You to get back to work. I'm going to pack. I will say goodbye when I'm done." The twins nodded and walked back down to the shop as Ginny made her way to the bedroom.

20 minutes later Ginny walked down with her bags. The shop was busy as always when she dropped her bags next to the register.

"See you tomorrow!" She waved at Fred and whispered to George.

"We will discuss them tomorrow yeah?"

"Yeah ok. I really need to fix this." She padded George on the shoulder as she picked up her bags and made her way to the shop's fireplace. When she stepped in Hermione's living room she waved her wand at her bags as they flew to the bedroom.
She was looking around and noticed the letter from Charlie on the table. She made her way to Hermione's bedroom. The closet and a few drawers where still open. She must really left in a hurry she thought to herself.
