The week had flown by everyone and it was already the weekend with most of S.T.A.R.S. at Barry's. Moira was the only one causing problems that Claire was kept busy with, while Kathy had the calmer daughter.

Forest had been avoiding her all night always looking away with fear. Unlike Rebbeca who had seemingly been following her all night looking at her with a blank dead expression.

After chasing Moira around trying to prevent her from destroying the house looking back Rebecca was there watching with that odd dead look.

"MEAT'S READY!"

Everyone disappeared to the kitchen but Claire and Rebbeca who stayed in a hallway staring each other down,

"Why have you been staring at me like that?"

"Keeping a close eye on you."

"Who asked you to do it."

"You."

Rebbeca was about to say something else before Claire covered her ears, hoping she didn't hear the words 'Alice in Wonderland or 'High Pristtes' she would blackout as she did at the library.

"HEY CLAIRE, REBBECA FOODS READY."

Barry yelled again since they had been missing for some of the night, Claire walked/ran to the living room and Rebecca followed.

"Sorry got a bit lost."

"How the hell did you pull that off?"

"Moira got us a bit distracted ended up losing where we were."

Barry just laughed as Claire and Rebbeca joined the rest of the people and Moira who had a smile like the Cheshire cat.

RING, RING,

"Hello, Burton residence."

"Are you all alive?"

"Yes, Wesker." Barry purposely posed very dramatically causing everyone to laugh.

"Keep everyone alive and outside of the hospital at least till tomorrow."

Barry hung up," Eh, no."

Barry join the group as they started to talk about almost everything that had happened in Raccoon City,

"Hey, Claire you going to the high school here?"

"Maybe at the start of the next year."

"Well, you better apply soon."

"Why?"

"Winter break is soon. You going next year?"

"Jill I meant new SCHOOL year."

"Nope, you said year first."

Soon everyone was encouraging Claire to apply to the high school there, inevitably Claire gave in.

The Next Day

Claire managed to get out of bed and Chris was not home and the landline went off," Why do phones go off at the most random of times?"

"Hello?" Claire said answering the phone.

"Who is this?"

"Claire Redfield, you?"

"Albert Wesker."

Claire tried remembering where she heard that name," Oh, you're the sunglasses cop."

"Yes, now where is your brother?"

"Good question. I don't know."

"How do you not know where he is?"

"Ask Jill think she'd know."

Claire hung up just as Chris came through the door," Hey sleepy head."

"Your boss called."

Chris's eyes went big and he dialed Wesker with fear in his eyes," Hey captain."

Chris went silent and Claire tried to listen to what Wesker was saying but she could hear nothing. Chris put the phone back,

"Ok, nothing bad."

"What was it?"

"Forest and Brad had a fight, Barry had to separate them and both the boys are in the hospital so he just put even more fear in me. Also got you applied for high school."

"Thanks."

Across town someone was watching over Racoon City from below, on the desk, the computer pinged letting the man know he has a new email it was from Raccon High School. A new student was in Raccon High School after Winter break, Claire Redfield, "Interesting another Redfield."

Looking over everything that was on the girl it seems she was almost a child prodigy and would be a great asset to umbrella as a worker," Maybe you'd work with William or Wesker. I wonder."

The man took a sip of his coffee before calling someone at the facility,

"Spencer?"

"Yes, William I have someone for you and Wesker to blackmail possibly."

"You know I don't do the whole blackmail thing, that's Weskers domain."

"Her name is Claire Redfield she's new to umbrella's Raccoon City."

"Alright it's Al's problem it a girl and it's blackmail. I'm just going to tell him."

"William it's for the both of you either a new worker or experiment."

"I'm going to say this, Wesker is the more ladies man even though he's a stone-cold jerk."

Spencer hung up before William could go on even more," Well then Miss Redfield how will you get out of this one."
