Time is a storm in which we all are lost. It may be unpredictable. But the chances of survival always remain.
Long waits are times for realisation or better say self realisation. It induces as to analyze our acts and thoughts. It develops within us a sense of empathy. Sitting on that wooden bench he too was doing something similar. He was in a process of tracing out the root of this problem that created this storm in his life. That letter or his approach. Whatever it may be he had no right to question the strong base of their relationship. But he did it. At last he found a consolation in the excuse that it was a play of his heart which expelled out its pain without asking the brain as his heart never felt the need for consulting the brain while talking to this man who resided in his heart itself. But he should have. Atleast he should have maintain the matter in their private realm. But what consolation would he give himself for the incidents that followed. That day he conceived him.
The news of Senior Inspector Abhijeet killing an under cover cop flashed across the news channels in a fraction of second. News channels too celebrated this breaking news that could bring a sensation to their audience. They presented it with their own additions and eliminations. Rest happened in an eye blinks time. One of the most revered Police cop of Mumbai became the most notorious criminal. He dialled Abhijeet's number from his secret cell.
Daya: Ye Abhi call kyom nahi Uda raha hai.
Suddenly he heard the door bell.
Daya: Ab Kon hoga.(He opened the door and was surprised to see the visitor)

Everything was over till they reached there. Media has already surrounded them. He stood with down head not knowing what to reply. Abhijeet 's gaze were concentated on him. On the other side
Abhijeet was standing there leaning over a wall. He doesn't know why he denied his brother the permission to meet him. It may possibly be their last meeting. He want to see him at least once before his never returning journey not for asking any questions to him. Just to see him, enjoy his presence , embrace him, and if possible give him a last kiss on his forehead which he know would last forever as a sign of his love. He asked himself was he angry at him even now. No . His reply came instantly from the mind. he is going far away towards another world and now there is no relevance for any anger or grievance. Then why . Maybe he was afraid that his presence will induce in him a desire to live. He has been preparing his mind for his certain future all these days. But his presence will dig out the box of sweet memories of the past which he had already sealed and concealed in some corner of his heart with a lot of effort. He doesn't want to make his death more painful reliving in those days.

Abhijeet stood silently. These two months have taught him many lessons. The first and foremost lesson was to endure taunts with patience. But it was not same for that person who was standing behind hearing everything. He at once felt a rage to kill that jailer and that prisoner. But it's of no use. He was astonished by Abhijeet's silent and calm reaction. Seeing him behind, jailer escaped from the scene and police man continued his work. Abhijeet surprised by the sudden silence turn around to find his most precious relation there. Both eyes came forward towards him revolving in his thoughts. Abhijeet didn't move an inch.
Daya looked at the devastated condition of his brother. No one would recognize him as the brave intelligent senior Inspector of CID Mumbai in this attire. His eyes are tired and are longing for a satisfied sleep. His hairs and beards are not properly arranged and maintained. His face shows a terrifying calmness which is a sign of disinterest to this world and it's beings. He had grown weak and slender in this days showing that he had not properly ate anything these days. The shine in his eyes is lost somewhere. Now it reflects no pain no anger not even pure affection that he always bore in his eyes seeing his brother. Daya although was aware that he must have suffered worst in this environment never expected his brother to be so broken . He was happy if Abhijeet had roared at him or carry tears in his eyes seeing him. But what Daya could read from his eyes was an unwillingness an unwillingness to live. With a fear subduing him he started touching at his cheeks.
Daya: Abhi
Abhijeet responded with an expression less face: kya bheek dene aya hai sir.
Daya : Abhi mai koi bheek dena nahi aya hoon. Tume dekhne aya hoon.
Abhijeet: Maine Jo kiya us keliye mujhe saza mil Chuka hai sir. Vo bhi phasi. Ab mujhse aap kya chahiye. Mere pass apko dene ke liye aur koi information bhi nahi hai.

Abhi: (he smiled sadly hearing the word bhai)Sir aap ek police officer hoon aur mai ek criminal. Ek Gooni ke sath ek officer ko koi rishta nahi Hoga aur hona bhi nahi chahiye.
Daya: (holding Abhijeet 's hand)Abhi mai janta hoon mai bahut galat kiya tumare sath. Is liye tum mujhse naraz hoon aur shayad nafrat bhi karne laga honga. Tum mujhe kabhi bhi maafi nahi karna. Par Abhi mai tume aise toota hua nahi dekhna chahta hai Abhi. Tum himmat rakho Abhi. Mai tume zaroor bachayega .
Abhi: Sir aap mera hath chodo. Bahut Ganda hai mera hath . Safai ka Kaam kar raha dha. Apke hath bhi Ganda hoga. (He released his hand from that of Daya)Aur ab mujhe bachana ka avashyakta nahi hai. Mai swayam Bach jaunga apne sare gum se. Ab keval kuch din baki hai. Us ke baad mai Chala jaunga apne maa ki pass. Sabse dur. Mai aur kuch nahi chahiye. Thak gaya hoon ab.
Daya(angrily):tum Kahi nahi jaunga. Mai tume Jane nahi dunga. Suna tumne mai tume mujhe chodkar Jana nahi dunga.
Abhi: (smiled and said) Aap ab jayiye Sir. Mujhe bahut Kaam hai. Aur phir mujhe milna nahi ana. Janta hoon ap Asp hai apko adikar hai kaidiyom se uske permission ke bina Milne ya puchtach karne ki. Par Mera pass ab keval kuch din baki hai. Mai apne antim dinom shanti se bitane chahta hoon. mai app ke age hath jodkar kah raha hum app jayiye yaham se aur phir kabhi mat ana mujhe Milne ke liye. Bhool jao mujhe aur apne zindhagi khushi se bitao.
Daya was not able to recognize his phase of mind. Today his brother is asking him to move away from him. His heart was throbbing with pain . His eyes cannot control his tears which overflowed llike a river. Without uttering anything he turned to go. He felt that he deserved this only after his treacherous act. Abhijeet stood their with an expression less face. Sampark reached near him.

This question has always confused him
Abhijeet has not been ever able to figure out who was he . He has no particular relation to him. But still he is his everything. He was his memory,his support ,his guide ,his friend ,his family and what not. But his answer was something different.
Abhijeet: vo ek cid officer hai.
Sampark: bahut bada officer hai kya.
Abhijeet just nodded and went from there. Sampark directly went to Daya.

Daya turned around after composing his emotions.

Hearing Abhijeet's name Daya became attentive:ji kahiye.

Daya couldn't control further . He assured him with teary eyes: Zaroor mai koshish karunga. Usse Bacha bhi lunga.
Sampark: Aap aisa kiya tho app ko ishwar zaroor bhala Karunga.
He doesn't know what to reply . He has to rescue him not for any blessings but for himself. But how can he make this man understand it. He simply nodded and went out.
On the other side for Abhijeet this few moments of deliberation seemed like an eternity. He felt his consciousness ebbing away and his thoughts which were clear and concise a moment ago coming to eyes grew heavy from the thoughts that cuddled up in his brain. Yes today he is happy and satisfied. His brother's eyes reflected only pure concern and trust. There is no hatred as he expected. Today he can sleep,may be a satisfied sleep after many days.
Daya on the other hand walked . His brain was busy in assessing the condition of his brother. His brother is in a hell. He never want his brother to be in such a plight . He is helpless. Totally helpless
He reached home involved in thoughts where he found someone unexpected. Acp sir and Shreya's father.
Daya: Sir aap log yeham . Andar ayiye
Acp: Daya tumse kuch baat karni hai.
Daya: kya hai sir.
Acp: Mujhe Nahi Shreya ke papa ko.
Daya: ji kahiye uncle.
Shreya's father: Daya beta mai janta hoon tum Shreya se pyaar Karta hoon. Mai tume Shreya aur tumare Shaadi ke bare mai Batana aya hoon.
Daya: Shaadi . Par Shreya ke Shaadi tho Siddharth se tay kiya dha na.
Sh. Father: Us din Abhijeet ne tumare letter Shreya ko dene aya tha humare ghar mai. Mai usse roka. Siddharth ke papa se mai Kuch paisa udar mai liya tha. Tab mai vo wapas dene ki sthithi mai nahi dha. Is liye jab Siddharth ke papa Shreya ke hath manga tho mai mana nahi kar paya. Daya felt another weight of guilt placed over his already heavy burdened gulilt. He has insulted his brother for no reason in front of all. What an ungrateful man he is. He felt hatred towards himself.
Daya: Aap mujhe maaf kijiye . Ab mai vivah karne ki sthithi mai nahi hum. Aap chahe tho Siddharth se Shreya ke vivah karwa sakta hoon. Siddharth ek acha ladka hai.
