"All right. Rise and shine sleeping beauties! C'mon. Hup, hup, hup! Get your clothes on. Get ready! Got breakfast ready. Look you get porridge! And it's happy to see you!" Mushu shouts as he wakes Alexis and Mulan up before Alexis sees Crikee in the porridge.
"Uh thanks for thought but um no thanks." Alexis says in disgust before Mushu sees Crikee.
"Hey get out of there! You're gonna make people sick!" Mushu shouts as he uses chopsticks to get Crikee out of the bowl.
"Are we late?" Alexis asks before Mushu starts stuffing hers and Mulan's mouth with porridge.
"No time to talk. Now remember it's your first day of training. So listen to your teacher and no fighting. Play nice with the other kids. Unless of course the other kids want to fight. Then you gotta kick the other kid's butt." Mushu says.
"But I don't want to kick the other kids' butts." Mulan says.
"Don't talk with your mouth full. Now let's see your war face. Oh I think my bunny slippers just ran for cover. Come on. Scare me girl! I know that wolf sister of yours can. That's my tough looking warriors! That's what I'm talking about! Now get out there and make me proud! What do you mean the troops just left?" Mushu asks as Azira and Khan neigh frantically.
"They what?" Mulan asks in alarm before she and Alexis scramble to get dressed.
"Come on!" Alexis shouts as she and Mulan run out of the tent.
*Timeskip*
"Looks like our new friend slept in this morning. Why hello Ping. Are ya hungry?" Ling asks as he sees Mulan.
"Yeah cause I owe you a knuckle sandwich." Yao says as he grabs Mulan only for Alexis to grab his arm and pull Mulan away from him.
"Hey. Back off." Alexis says sternly.
"Oh yeah. forgot about your adopted brother lee." Ling say as Alexis looks at him.
"Soldiers! You will assemble swiftly and silently. Every morning. Anyone who does otherwise will answer to me." Shang says as he takes his shirt off as Mulan stares.
"Ooh tough guy." Yao says.
"Yao. Thank you for volunteering. Retrieve the arrow." Shang says as he takes an arrow and aims it at Yao before at the top of a pole in the middle of camp and releasing it as it hits the top of the pole.
"I'll get that arrow pretty boy and I'll do it with my shirt on." Yao says as he heads over to the pole.
"One moment. You seem to be missing something. This represents discipline. And this represents strength. You need both to reach the arrow." Shang says as he ties to very heavy medals to Yao's hands.
"He's gotta be kidding. That's gonna be hard to do." Alexis thinks to herself as everyone watches Yao fail at trying to get the arrow.
"We've got a long way to go." Shang says as the group begins training with him.

"Ugh. These past weeks have been torture." Alexis says as she is laying in her tent with Mulan.
"Yeah but look at us. We're the best in the camp alongside the captain." Mulan says proudly.
"Yeah.. I guess.. I don't know about you but I really want a bath right now." Alexis says as she sits up.
"Well why don't we go to the lake we saw?" Mulan asks.
"Really?" Alexis asks.
"Yep." Mulan says as she and Alexis get up.
"Wait? Lake? What? Hey hold on one minute!" Mushu shouts as he follows after Alexis and Mulan.
