"Rrrarf!"

Playful barking and jovial laughter filled the air as a young boy chased after a small tan colored dog. The chase ended with the puppy reversing the momentum, tackling the boy to the ground and playfully licking his face.

"Looks like those two are having fun. You should probably bring Bee over to visit more often," said Gohan.

Giggling, Videl replied. "I certainly wouldn't mind it, but he's been almost inseparable from Buu. The only reason I was able to bring him over today is cause Buu fell asleep. When I told my Dad I was coming over, he asked me to bring him along so he could get some exercise."

While the two teens conversed, Goten and Bee started up a game of fetch with Goten tossing a ball into the entrance of a nearby forest. Unbeknownst to everyone, including himself, whenever Bee would return with the ball, Goten would throw it in the woods a little further. Before long, Goten's wind up was nigh full strength and for a hybrid Saiyan, that was a lot.

"Goten wait, not that har-!" Sensing Goten's slight increase in strength, Gohan darted towards the pair intending to stop his younger brother but was too late. With a hearty grunt, Goten chucked the ball into the woods and Bee eagerly followed after, sprinting after it.

"Bee wait!" Videl called chasing after him.

"Videl!" Gohan's call fell on deaf ears as Videl disappeared into the woods. "Goten…"

The young hybrid coyly averted gaze with his brother. "Sorry. I was just having too much fun…"

"It's fine, but in the future try to retrain yourself. You may not have to hide your power anymore, but yo have to remember to take it easy around Videl and her father."

"Okay."

"We'll talk about it later. For now, let's just go find em'."

"Okay!" The brothers dashed into the woods, using their senses to guide them to their female friend.

"Bee…where are you boy!?" Videl called. No response. Sighing in exasperation, Videl leant against a tree, attempting to regain her barings. "Maybe I'll have better luck from the air?" Ascending, Videl's theory was quickly shot down as it was evident that the thickness of the forest made searching with a bird's eye view a moot point. Descending back beneath the trees, Videl continued trudging through the forest until she came across an intriguing clue.

"Well…I found this at least…" she noted picking up a multicolored ball. "If the ball's here, then Bee himself has to have come past here…right?"

As if answering her question, a familiar "Arf! Rrrrarf!" filled the air. "I knew it!" following her ears, Videl soon made her way out of the forest to a rocky area. "Where am I now?"

"Grrrrrrr…!"

Videl turned to the sound of growling to find Bee snarling at a random rocky pillar. "There you are."

"Rrarf! Rarf!"

"What are you barking at boy?"

Following the pup's gaze, Videl was met with a shadow gliding overhead. As she witnessed it descend, coming clearer into view, she let out a panicked yelp.

"Kyaaagh!"

"Videl!?" His expression turning worrisome, Gohan sprinted through the forest locked onto Videl's energy, Goten close behind.

"Gohan, is Videl gonna be okay?"

The older boy ignored the question as they finally came into a clearing. "Videl?"

"Gohaaaaaan!"

The brothers turned aside to see Videl being chased by a small, yellow/green winged dinosaur (small in comparison to its brethren. Its actual size seemed similar in height to Krillin, if a bit taller and wider), with a barking Bee in hot pursuit, leaping at the flying reptile.

While Gohan paused in the moment to fully process the comically absurd sight, an excitable Goten exclaimed, "Hey, I wanna play too!" As Goten zipped into the chase, Videl tripped over a rock, falling to the ground where the pterosaur landed atop her and started cooly nuzzling her.

Finally calmed enough to assess the situation, Videl giggled lightly pushing the dinosaur off her. "H-hey, stop that tickles!"

The jovial reptile let out a friendly cry as it proceeded to lick her face. "G-guuuys…help! Get it' off me already!"

The two brothers chuckled as they finally removed their reptile friend from their ailing guest. Moments later, as Videl cleaned herself up, Gohan and Goten began inspecting the dinosaur while Bee proceeded to sniff around it.

"Hey Videl…doesn't this dinosaur look kinda familiar?" asked Gohan.

"Don't you guys know every animal around these parts?" joked Videl.

"No…but I think old guy knows you," Gohan replied.

"He does?"

"He was chasing you and when he finally caught up, he started cuddling with you. Dinosaurs don't tend to do that to total strangers."

Her curiosity now piqued, Videl approached the eased reptile and reached a hand for it's snout. Almost instinctively, it let out a happy sounding cry and once attempted to embrace Videl, startling everyone and working Bee back up into a barking frenzy.

"I think Chibi really likes you," noted Goten.

"Chibi…? This dinosaur's not that small…" Videl replied getting back to her feet.

"True, but he was when you helped save him," added Gohan.

"When I-?" Videl gasped as realization struck. "Wait…are you…!?"

"The same baby dinosaur from that circus case? Yeeup," Gohan confirmed.

Videl barely had time to take in the info before Chibi once again nuzzled against her nape. Just aside, Bee continued sniffing at the friendly dinosaur before letting out a satisfied bark.

"Looks like they're friends now too," noted Gohan. As he helped her up, Chibi began flapping his wings taking off with Bee chasing behind him. The excitable puppy tried desperately to hop to his new friend but to no avail. With a surprised yelp, the little dog was quickly lifted up and was swiftly brought to eye level with his reptilian pal.

"Need a lift?"

"Rrrrrarf!"

Hovering over the gliding dinosaur, Videl placed Bee on his back just as Goten hopped aboard. The young trio proceeded to ride around the tops of the forest with the couple monitoring them from a safe distance.

"Well this is something you don't see every day," said Gohan.

"What, a little boy riding on a dinosaur with a puppy?"

"Well…yeah, but I was thinking more a dog and a dinosaur becoming friends."

"That's true. Man, animals are weird."

"I find it pretty fascinating."

"Of course you would."

"Hey Gohan! Videl!" Goten swooped down, zipping past the duo with Chibi and Bee in hot pursuit. "We're all gonna race back Chibi's nest! I think he wants you guys to join us!"

"I'm down! It'll be pretty nostalgic to see his parents again."

Videl cautiously stepped back. "Uhhh…maybe I shouldn't…. He may like me, but I think his parents may not be too pleased that I tried to help keep their baby away from them."

"Nonsense, as long as you're with us, you'll be fine," urged Gohan.

"If you say so…."

Taking her hand, Gohan led Videl up to the child trio and the odd quintet flew deeper into the rocky region. 'Most people have dogs, cats, and many other common animals as pets, of course I have to date the one guy who's friendly with a family of dinosaurs…and that's the least weirdest thing to happen since we got together!'
