Chapter 4
The following morning everyone was up and in the kitchen having breakfast exempt for Menma who took his breakfast to his room seeing this Kushina and Minato were busy thinking on how to fix what was revealed about Menma, while Naruto and Nasumi after finishing their breakfast left to go the academy hoping their parents could fix what they caused, as they were leaving they ran into Tsunade who just entered the compound.
"Hi brats, how it's going" spoke lady Tsunade getting a.
"Morning Granny Tsunade" reply which only led to a.
"EH stop calling me Granny I ain't that old, cheeky brats" which led to a couple of chuckles from the pair.
"Sorry couldn't resist but thanks for that we needed it after what we were told yesterday" Nasumi spoke.
"Yeah Jiraiya told me last night now kids you must keep this a secret you cannot tell anyone okay"
Tsunade saying this while looking around making sure no one is listening to this "Yes we understand Granny" Naruto answered.
"Good... EH stop calling me that brat, nevermind both of you's get going before your late"
"Bye Granny see you later"
"See you lat... not you too Nasumi"
After this both kids left to go class and hoped afterwords things would go back to normal, Lady before moving to enter the residents paused for a moment 'Well time to face the music, this isn't going to be good for gods sake even I lied to him saying he was sick, giving him regular check-ups and telling him the so called 'medicine' was to help, better get moving don't stall this any longer' Tsunade steeling herself before knocking and opening the door.
Kushina still thinking on what to say to Menma about lying to him for his entire life.
"Sorry Kushina I gotta go back to the office, I'll see what I can do help fix this, but there has been some missing shinobi's lately and some other issuse that need my attention"
Minato saying this before giving his wife a small kiss on the cheek who repsonded the same way before teleporting to the Hokage office, just after he teleported the door opened with Lady Tsunade coming in and closing the door.
"So... Menmas knows the truth now" Kushina seeing Tsunade nodded lightly
"Yes and I believe he's going back to when he was first told about this lie, he only came out to bring breakfast back to his room... Tsunade please I need help"
Tsunade hearing this came forward and wrapped her arms around her cousin to comfort the mother.
"Right... well I'be going to face him then, time to face what I did even if it was only a little, he was always my favourite always calling me Auntie instead of Granny, he was smart for his age, so mayb..." Just before she finished Menma came into the kitchen.
"Morning Auntie... I want to say it's nice to see you but I would be lying" Saying this Menma put his plates in the sink and turned to face both of them.
"I take it dad is working" getting a nod of approval.
"Well then I cut this short... I..." Menma swallowing hard before continuing
"I want to say that I understand why you did it, I still can't trust you because of it but I understand why..." Menma saying this slowly walked to his mother and gave her a small hug.
"So please give me some time to myself okay there's still alot I got to think over what I just learned yesterday"
"Of course sweetie take all the time you need okay"
Kushina saying this with tears hugged her son tightly before letting go. 'I do need time to forgave them it was a good plan I would do same because of that Law, but in the meantime I suppose I should see if I can tap into this energy that I have hopeful Paa can help me' thinkg this while heading to his room before stopping and turning around.
"Oh before I forget this is for you for lying to me Granny Tsunade" saying this Menma gave Tsunade the finger.
"I deserve that and maybe some more... cheeky brat"
Tsunade who smiled with Kushina who was thinking 'He understands that's a start and I hope in time that he will forgive me'.
"You got off easy Tsunade and thanks for stopping by"
"No problem... so have you told them about your condition yet" Tsunade again smiling happily
"No... not yet it's been nearly two months but I will tell them next week whens things calmed down hopeful" She said while rubbing he stomach lightly with a smile.
Menma after returning to his room went to grab the book that Elder Toad left for him even though he had read it yesterday before dinner decided to go through it again and try to awaken his abilities 'Their plan was to keep me here til I either die of old age or til I get discovered by pretending that I had an illness, apparently it worked for a while but this is a Shinobi Village this secret won't remain forever eventually it will come out and when it does I hope that I can be ready' thinking this Menma sat down in a crossed leg position and moved his hands infront of him and placing his fingertips together like he was holding a ball 'Okay the book said that we Saiyans have a natural abililty for this energy thing, but for what I've read about Chakra I'll wager it's similar only with far less hand signs, it also said that a Saiyans anger makes them stronger so if energy is similar to Chakra then maybe it's tied to the spiritual side of it so let's see if this works'.
Thinking this Menma began to mediate and focused his anger into his hands, after a minute or two nothing happened, but before he decided to give up he heard a slight humming noise 'What's that noise' Slowly he opened his eyes but not losing focus and seeing a small light forming in his hands 'Is this...is this energy... it feels warm, I wonder' Menma broke his focus and lowered his left hand but kept his right hand infront of him and making a small fist 'Okay the book says that Saiyans performed these energy techniques using imaginations and focusing it... okay lets make a ball'
Thinking this Menma began channeling his energy in his hand thinking of a small ball he slowly opened his hand and immediately a small ball of enegry formed and hovered infront of him bringing a very big grin to his face before it dispearsed 'I DID IT I DID IT I HAVE POWERS' Thinking loudly in his head Menma for once actually felt pride for accomplishing this on his own 'Okay calm down I still got alot of work to do yet I wonder if I can fly... the book says it's possible so if I can that would make things easier for traveling'
Menma thinking this began channeling his energy to his feet and slowly but surely he began to hover 'OKAY OKAY THIS IS SO COOL' slowly he lowered himself but to the floor 'Okay I should probably wait for Paa to comeback and think of plan in the meanwhile on what I want to do in the future cause one thing for sure I ain't staying in this compound forever, in the meanwhile I wonder if the libary has some survival books'.
In the Hokages Office Minato was dealing with problems that was just growing by the minute.
"Are you sure about this report" Minato speaking to Fugaku.
"I double checked it myself Hokage, someone is hunting down and mutilating our Shinobi and my Clansmen in our Village"
"This is not good Fugaku, Kakashi is proof that the sharigan can be transferred but the mutilation on the bodies that something else"
Minato saying this as pictures showing at least 7 dead Shinobis 4 were Uchihas and they weren't pretty on his desk infront of him.
"The eyes I understand but why mutila..." Minato suddenly came to a realisation about what happened to them.
"There not being mutilated they being diessected" Hearing this Fugaku thought for a moment before the realisation hit him.
"Your right there bodies are to mangled to notice this but wh... there being dissected for there Jutsus"
"Exactly who ever is doing this has an understanding of Medical Ninjutsus and is a Shinobi as well"
"Agreed but just to confirm our suspicions I'll like to have Lady Tsunade to come and have a look as well" Minato nodding his approval.
"In the Meantime, Weasel, Crow"
"Yes Hokage" Weasel and Crow appeared before him kneeling infront of him.
"I want the both you's to monitor and patrol the Uchiha district I want you's to work with Fugaku here and bring Kakashi in on this as well hopeful his tracking abilities might be of use to you's in this investigation"
"Understood Hokage" both nodding to this.
"Fugaku if Lady Tsunade does confirm our suspicions I want you make a list of potential targets I want to get ahead of whoever is doing this understood"
"Yes Lord Hokage"
"Good, you may leave"
With that both Anbu and Fugaku left to investigate the matter when they left the office Minato ordered any remaining Anbu to leave and activated the privacy seals and taking out a crystal ball from his desk, placing his hand on the ball he said one command.
"Show me Danzo Shimura"
For moment the ball showed nothing until Minato activated some seals on the ball, moment later it showed Danzo in his Root HQ before 3 Anbu with similar porclean masks appeared before Danzo 'It seems that Root is still active thought I told him to shut it down seemed you ignored me' Minato thinking this.
"Lord Danzo we have acquired another Sharigan set from Orochimaru"
"Good what is your report on the Hokages children" hearing this Minato briefly looked shocked that Danzo was spying on his family
"Lord Danzo it would seem that the Hokage resident privacy seals are still interferring with our watch but we have managed to sneak in yestereday using Sai's Ink animals and has reported something quite useful for you"
"Oh what is that then"
"It would seem that the Hokages youngest child Menma is a 'Cursed Child' my Lord"
"WHAT... do you have proof of this"
Danzo shocked at what he heared that a Cursed Child was in the Village and was the Hokages child hearing that Danzo wanted proof the Root Anbu handed him a photo of Menma in his room getting dressed with his tail moving around 'mmmm perhaps this could be of us to me'.
"I have new orders for you first you will get Shisui Uchiha eyes, his Genjutsu is the strongest there is with it I would be able to take complete control over Minato taking over this Village and turning it into what it should've been, next you will bring me this 'Cursed Child' this Menma if my first plan fails then I can use his son to transform and attack the Village and in the ensuring chaos kill Minato and install myself as the next Hokage"
Danzo thinking if anything else is needed "When is the next full moon"
"5 days my lord"
"Good you have 4 days to get me those eyes and that child, now begone you have your orders" hearing this Minato was livid
"Okay kid what's your move"
Minato turning his head to his right seeing Jiraiya coming from the window.
"You know I was going to ask how you got through my seals but then I remembered you were one that taught me"
"Too right kid but for now what are you going to do" Minato thinking for moment before a plan came to mind.
"Okay heres what we are going to do".
In the few days that went by Minato, Jiraiya and two teams of Anbu came to the rescue of Shisui Uchiha before his eyes were taking while another team of Anbu managed to stop Menma from being taking without anyone knowing, afterwards they managed to remove the curse marks on the Root Operative and having a Yamanaka Mind Walk they managed to gather enough evidence and with a full squad of Anbu raided Root HQ and incapacitate both Root Operatives and Danzo.
Though it was a lengthly battle with even the former Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi coming to aid them to final stop his old Comrade from his madness, after the battle was over all seals was removed from Root Operatives and Danzo in last attempt to go down fighting activated his seals to at least take Minato with him failed thanks to Minato teleporting over and immediatley stopped the seals before slapping a prisoners tag on his head rendering him unconcious, after a few hours in T&I and a few Mind Walks Minato, Jiraiya, Hiruzen and even the Council was shocked at what Danzo had done to secure the Village peace from kidnapping children and putting them through hell training them to only obey him and complete it with Curse seals that would activate killing them if they disobey him or reveal any of his secrets.
To killing feudal lords to weakening there enemies power to starting wars between nations with the leaf staying out of it, after hearing all of this the Council decided to put Danzo Shimura to death in five days, Minato should be feeling happy for stopping Danzo mad grab for power and keeping his son out of his hands but he knew after the Mind walks with the Yamanakas that his son's secret was in danger of being released and there was nothing he could do to stop it.
After the attempted kidnapping of Menma that was stopped before it even began Menma was in his room hovering a few feet above his bed reading a few survival books he found that Naruto and Nasumi had for their future careers as Shinobi, with the windows closed and curtain covering them to make sure no one was watching him floating 'I wonder when Paa is coming back I need his help if my plan is to work' After thinking this he heared a tapping noise coming from the window and lowered himself to the floor and walked over the window and slightly moving the curtains to see what it was and noticing the Elder toad opened the window.
"Paa you came back I was beginning to get worried that you wouldn't"
Menma stretching his hands out together seeing this the Toad hopped into them.
"Nonsense... of course I would come back, please tell me you read the book please?"
Menma hearing this and closing both the window and curtains after setting the Toad on his bed responded by hovering til he was above his bed.
"It was a good read and even though I couldn't use Chakra some of it's knowedge was helpful to let me tap into on the first days"
Hearing and seeing this the Elder Toad was ecstatic but before he could yell how happy he was a small hand clammed down on his mouth.
"Sorry but you got keep quite I don't want anyone knowing about this"
"Why what happened when I was gone other than you figuring out that you been lied, did you confront them or something" Menma simply Nodded
"Yes Mom, Dad, Naruto, Nasumi, Jiraiya and even Tsunade I told that I understand why but I can't forgive them for lying to me hopeful in time I will but I need time"
"You are a rare one you know that right, not many people would understand why but from what I see in your room you read alot thats good because books give good lessons and knowledge, so what are you going to do then"
"Well with your permission I would your help in teaching me some martial arts training as that is the one area I need to train in if my plan is going to work oh and some survival training as well please"
Menma saying this while bowing his head down.
"But of course we toads will help you but what is your plan if I may ask so that I know what I'm getting myself into"
"Their plan was to keep me in the Compound til the day I die or I get exposed as one these so called 'Cursed Child' but my plan is to get exposed and see the world and from what I read and heared from the stories that Mom and Dad told it's dangerous out there so I need to prepare myself to both defend myself and live off the land and not be a repeat of my Uncle who died a week after being banished, so yeah that's the plan a bit dangerous but with the ability to fly it should be easier to survive out there I hope"
"That's a lot to take in kid and you've read some survival books that they teach you younglings which is good and with us we will help you further with it but the trouble will be hand to hand training, but I think that Martial Arts maybe up your alley and I think I know just the toad for it but the issue would be summoning us because we promised your dad that one of your siblings would sign our contract, with the other signing the slug contract"
Hearing this he felt sad because without the toads help his plan won't work.
"Now now get that look off your face, I know we can only sign one person per generation but we toads have been waiting for you saiyans to appear so we decided to let them sign our contract even in situtations such as this, but there is also a problem that you energy might not work and even if it does it will only work with one toad... you know what that is actually a good idea now that I think about, the toad you will have a contract is perfect for you and it's sounding even better now"
"Are you sure this toad is perfect for me and what I need"
"Of course he's perfect for you he's a collector of Martial Arts techniques even though we toads can't do nearly all of them but he has about nearly fifteen different styles that you would perfect for, you saiyans are fast learners and he's also a survival expert to like I said he's perfect for you"

Menma saying this was renewed with such joy even though his plan hit a snag with him summoning only one toad but that the toad would be teaching both survival and Martials Arts which would be great for him.
"His name is Croaker, he maybe tough but he is actually the best we have for what you need considering you already seem to figure out how to tap into the saiyans power or energy as they call it, okay I would be gone for a day or two to get this thing setup maybe more considering we are using two different kinds of power to make it work"
"do you have a crystal ball or something that transfer my energy to see if it does work"
"That is a... a very good idea I leave a mark here so that I can come back to collect some of your energy that would shave off a day at best I will also see if he has any survival bokks he can give you to read in the meantime"
"Thank you for everything I don't if I would survive out there without your or his help"
"Nonsense boy like I told you we have been waiting for you, hopeful in the future you could train some more saiyans and get that stupid Law removed or something"
With that the Elder Toad hopped on the floor and left his mark and left in a pile of smoke only to appear five minutes later with a crystal ball in his hands.
"Right let's fill this thing up and get that contract ready" Menma just nodded before placing his hand on the ball and began pouring his energy in the crystal which began to glow light before becoming brighter Paa told Menma to stop and will return when the contract is ready.
In Mount Myoboku after Paa returned a the crystal ball of energy.
"Gamatama get me Croaker we have need of him oh and where is Maa"
"I be quick as I can be Paa and I think Maa is at home"
"Excellent"
Paa then quickly left find his wife Shima to help him with making this new contract after ten minutes of wandering around finding Croaker, Gamatama finally found him in a clearing practicing his techniques
"Croaker, Paa asked me to find you and that he has need of you, you will find him at his home"
Croaker hearing this stopped his practise and nodded lightly and took his leave.
"Maa... you here we have work to do and this is very important"
"Yes Paa I'm here and what is so important for you to barge... Paa what is that in your hands I never seen it before"
"Maa this is energy from Menma the Saiyan, that boy has finally tapped in his power after only a few days and he's already shown the ability to fly with ease and we are going to make a new contract that will work with his energy to summon the one toad that will help greatly in his plan"
"new contract... plan...what plan?"
Just before Paa could talk there was a knock at the door and Croaker asking to come in.
"Good your here this will save some time explaining twice so listen up and listen well and I'm only say this once so listen"
Paa then explained what Minato, Jiraiya and all those that lied to Menma about his so called 'Sickness' and how they kept him in the Compound for most of his life and Menma finding out as well as Paa giving him book, coming back a few days later so see if Menma has read and Menma explaining his confronting his parents about their lies and his plan to leave Konoha and that he needed help and that Croaker was a perfect fit for him, after hearing all this Maa and Croaker were both shocked at this but also understanding it was the only plan to keep him alive as long as possible.
"Right Paa let's get that contract up and running shall we, Croaker you better get ready for your very first student and first saiyan you will be busy if you need anything to help train him ask Gamabunta he will be happy to help"
Hearing this Croaker left leaving Maa and Paa to sort out the contract .
"Saiyans energy is very different yet similar to Chakra hopeful it won't be problem to make the contract ohh this is going to be some much fun to make" "Now now Maa calm down we've got work to do so let's get to it shall we" hearing this Maa finally calmed and began working on the new contract.
Meanwhile in the sewers of Konoha a team of Anbu and Hiruzen were closing in on there target, Orochimaru student of the retired Hokage, Snake Sannin and Master of both Kenjutsus, poisons as well as numerous elemental Jutsus that rivaled Hiruzen himself, Orochimaru was busy dissecting a leaf shinobi in his underground lab til an explosion blew the door apart and severly shinobi and his former mentor came running in.
"Hiruzen Sensei it's been a long time how are you" spoke Orochimaru talking like the explosion never happened.
"Orochimaru what have you done, you killed your fellow comrades WHY?"
"Why you ask, Why that's simple isn't I want to learn all the Jutsus there is and dissecting them is easy way to learn them without having to go and steal the Clans techniques not quite informative but easier none the less"
"YOU WHAT... you have been stealing Other Clans techniques, Orochimaru that alone would have you killed but this what you have done is much worse just so that you can learn all the Jutsus you want is madness, now I know why Danzo came to you both of you's are mad for power without caring the pain and suffering you's are amking to others, I thought I taught you better"
"Oh please spare me that nonsense you taught everthing that I know because of the War and told me to throw away my morality for the sake of the Village is that not true Sensei"
"Yes that is true but I also taught you to trust in your teammates to trust in your fellow leaf Shinobi and your humanity"
"Humanity is for the weak and as for my teammates, what about that Senju drink both herself and what remains of her inheritence to the ground and that pathetic perverted deadlast what a disgrace the only thing he's good for is taking hits from Tsunade and asking for seconds when he hasn't even confessed his love for her pathetic and Tsunade having lost both her lover and brother closed her heart and afraid to ever love again what a disgrace"
"That maybe for Jiraiya but for Tsunade he heart has been healed thanks to her cousin and her children healing her heart"
"Ah yes those children the two that carry the Foxe's yin and yang the twin Jinchuriki's and as for the youngest and so called 'Illness' he has... we both know what he actually is don't we, except for the Shinobi in this room that came running in I wonder what they will think of their Hokage keeping such a monster in his home waiting to look at the fu..."
"ENOUGH Menma is a sweet child yes his 'illness' does change things for him but that does not define him"
The shinobi in the listening to this were thinking what 'Illness' does Menma have that Hiruzen interrupted Orochimaru before he could explain further in what that was, but before they could think on it some more.
"Sorry got wrap this up, thanks for the chat Sensei and thanks for buying me time even though I can only use this Jutsu just this once it was nice to actually use it"
"What Jutsu Orochima..."
Hiruzen looked down and saw a seal of some kind on the floor with Orochimaru in the center of it.
"That seal it can't be"
"Can't be what the Flying Thunder God Technique you would be right but at last it's not just a one time teleporting Jutsu, pity really I couldn't figure it out no matter prehaps in time I might but til then farewell Sensei, oh before I go I believe Danzo sent some documents detailing Menma 'illness' to the Fire Daimyo days ago"
Just after Orochimaru finished Hiruzen jumped towards him to stop him but just before he could touch him Orochimaru vanished before there eyes.
"Dammit inform Minato tell him Orochimaru used a one time teleporting Jutsu to escape and inform him about Danzo sending the Fire Daimyo documents about Menma Condition"
"Sir I don't get what is Menma's 'Illness'"
"Speak to Minato it's his family secret and not my place to tell you just that a certain Law that's been around longer than any of the Villages will come knocking on his son's door and I pray that the Fire Daimyo is kind to Minato to show leniency if not then an innocent child will...die"
Meanwhile with Itachi who was at home in his bedroom relaxing after the week he had managed to finish the book he was reading from the libary and finding it disappointing about it 'What a waste of time pages were missing, words smudge together barely making readable and only a few pages that I could read wasn't very informative perhaps I should ask the Hokage or Jiraiya about the Toads copy theirs seems to be in far better condition than this book was in, I ask them in a few days the Village is still in shambles after what Orochimaru did to my Clansmen and Danzo stealing their eye's such disrepect but still why go after the Hokages youngest, as far as I can tell he takes daily medicine and has no Chak... no it can't be but I that would explain a few things about him... I'll ask Hokage in the morning'.
