Hey Everyone. I am finally back.
So last time we introduced a faction allied to the Jed'aii, namely the Protoss (From the Starcraft series), Naruto gave found out he was returning to Coruscant to teach at the Jedi Temple…and we learn why Obiwan hates to fly.
!IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!
I am planning on having Naruto take on a team of Padawans. I'd like to give myself a bit of a challenge here and ask that those of you who are willing to, please PM me with a profile for three OC characters.
The PM needs the following for each of the Padawans:
- Name, Age (10 – 13 years old), Gender, Planet of Origin/Species (please keep them from within the Star Wars Universe)
- Temperament (How easily he/she gets angry)
- A fair bit of detail on his/her personality (Please, no Warmongers…this person will be a pre-teen and will be Naruto's Padawan for the next 5 years or so.)
- The Color you would like the OC's lightsaber to have (So anything other than black)
- Physical appearance (Height, weight, skin-color, eye-color, identifiable features, etc.)
- Some quotes you'd like them to say (should the situation arise)
- And not someone from the Naruto-verse please.

On with the Story…
Coruscant, 23BBY
It has been nearly a year now since Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura had arrived to train the Jedi Order in flying their Fighter Spacecraft and a lot has changed in that time.
Halfway through this time, Kuat Drives had approached the Jedi Order with an offer to supply the Order with Delta-6 Sprite-class Starfighters, though after some testing by the jedi (including Anakin of course) these were rejected on accounts on being too sluggish compared to what they currently needed.
A few months later, Kuat Drives returned with the Delta-7 Aethersprite-class Interceptor, which soon became a favorite amongst the Jedi since it was easier to fly than the Kunai Fighter and arguably just as fast, whilst also being easier to manufacture and maintain. This coming with the downside of weaker armament and shielding.
Naruto, after flying one for the first time, commented: "Hey, Shizuka. Why don't we get you one of these? Less expensive on the Insurance and less danger for those flying with you."…which got Naruto to sleep on the couch for a week.
During this Year, Naruto and Sasuke were recalled on 3 separate occasions to help defend a Convoy heading to the Peace Seekers world. On one of these occasions, they fought of a small flight of pirate fighters.
And despite his best efforts, Naruto couldn't prevent R2BK9 from downloading new swearwords from the Extranet and 'expanding his vocabulary'.
The droid went in for repairs to his domed head about once a month because whenever he swore, more and more people started hitting him with a spanner.
Something that was of great interest to everyone were the mock battles that took place within the Virtual reality connected to a system of upgraded Flight simulators that simulated the G-Forces, unlike the first line that didn't.
Naruto and Sasuke still held an edge over their trainees here thanks to their experience, but Anakin was quickly becoming a thorn in their side, having scored a couple of clean hits on them during these mock battles.
Even Yoda joined in here and boy did he have fun, showing the Jedi Order that although he was by all accounts an ancient being, he still had it when needed, by holding his own against both Naruto and Sasuke in a one-on-one match for several minutes.
Now though Naruto and Sasuke were planning on returning to the Elemental System, their tenure as flight instructors finished, with Shizuka and Sakura helping to pack up the boxes.
"Can't wait until we are home again." Naruto commented.
"Hn. You just miss your Ramen stand, don't you?" Sasuke grunted, earning him a scowl from Naruto and a punch to the shoulder.
"Shut it, Teme. Or I'll lock you in a room with Sakura during one of her Periods." He threatened.
"Try it." Sasuke countered.
"Done it before, and Sakura made it clear she is willing to help for the next time." Naruto countered with a smirk, seeing the certainty slowly drain from his Corellian friend's face.
"Did you really say that?" Shizuka asked Sakura as the two of them carried a crate to the nearby hoversled.
"Yup. First time it happened turned into the best week of my life." Sakura said with a big smile. "Second time was near the end of my Period, so I didn't get to enjoy the time with Sasuke as much as the first. Venting stress can be so much fun."
"Lucky you." Shizuka pouted. "Naruto just gives me a nice massage until I fall asleep. Seriously, where did you learn to perform such magic with your hands?" she asked Naruto.
"From Dad. He had years to develop those massaging techniques on Mom." Naruto said with a smile.
Sasuke grumbled something that Naruto didn't quite catch but he just shook his head and ignored it.
=Hey, Naruto= R2BK9 beeped at Naruto. =The nice little green guy wants a word=
Naruto, Sasuke, Shizuka and Sakura stopped what they were doing and looked at the droid in shock and wonder.
=What?= The droid asked.
"Who are you and what have you done to R2BK9?" Naruto asked.
They could almost see the droid pop a vein on it's dome. =Fuck you! I am right here, you dumb fuck=
The four Je'daii relaxed. It was the right droid after all.
"Did Master Yoda say what he wanted to talk about?" Naruto asked as he put his crate onto the Hoversled.
=Beats me. He said something about carrying messages to Old Lady Fishface and her merry bunch= R2BK9 whistled. =Either that, or he wants to order some of that Kiwi-juice from Home 'cause he's not green enough.=
Naruto nodded before heading over to the lift to the Speeders.
=So…who was fucking who this time?= #CLANG# =Hey!=
Naruto smiled. That sounded like Sakura who just took a spanner to the droid's head.
Later
"Master Naruto, good day, I bid you." Yoda said as Naruto walked into the chamber. Next to him were three other Jedi Masters, Mace Windu, Ki Adi Mundi and Jocasta Nu.
"The same to you, Master Yoda, Master Windu, Master Mundi, Master Nu." Naruto said, bowing to each of the older Jedi. "Are you requesting another transport request?"
"As long as your girlfriend doesn't take control, then I wouldn't mind." Mace muttered, forcing Naruto to chuckle uncomfortably and scratch the back of his head.
"The Peace Seekers Homeworld, Master Nu, visit she wishes." Yoda said.
"We know that you will likely be stopping in that system on your way home." Ki Adi Mundi said. "Master Windu and I believe that we could do with some Meditation there as well."
Naruto thought about it, then shrugged.
"I'll have to contact the 'White Fang' about organizing you a lift. Our transport won't have enough space to house the extra people, with most of the storage space taken up by the equipment we brought along and the rest being used for supplies." He looked at each of them. "Our plan is to rendezvous with her in the Palanhi System after they drop off a shipment of Meds to combat an epidemic outbreak on Vakkar."
The four Jedi looked surprised at this. "I didn't know you dealt in shipping."
"The 'White Fang' was on it's way home after bringing a team of 'Peace Seekers' to help resolve a dispute on Sriluur and Vaathkree. Apparently, the Hutts have been encroaching on their territories and laid claim to parts of their space." Naruto said. "On the way back, they stopped to refuel in Anaxes, where they were hired by a Vakkarian Politician to deliver an early batch of antibiotics and antivirals."
"And Vakkar would only be a relatively small detour on their way back to the 'Peace Keepers' Homeworld." Jocasta Nu said. Being the member on the Council in charge of the Archives, and having looked through at least a metric ton of data chips, she pretty much had a map of the entire galaxy in her head.
Naruto nodded.
"You see about getting us a lift from Palanhi. We'll see about getting there." Mace said, before walking out of the door.
"I get the feeling he doesn't like me very much." Naruto said.
"Oh, don't let it get to you, young man." Jocasta Nu said. "He sounded like he actually likes you."
Naruto gave her a deadpan stare. "If THAT was him sounding like he liked me, then I shudder to think what he sounds like if he hates me."
"About the same to be completely Honest." Ki Adi Mundi said as he walked past, smirking as he felt Naruto's unease. The other two picked up on it as well and played along.
"Indeed." They agreed as they too left, leaving Naruto to wonder what was going on.
A few days later, Peace Seeker Homeworld
Kushina looked up at the 'White Fang', the Cargo Transport and the 4 Kunai Fighters come in to land on the platforms.
Normally, Minato would be there as well, but he had to leave since Naruto had left him in charge of the 9th Fleet and he had to command the assault on 3 Pirate Strongholds which appeared near their borders last month.
"I will miss the peace and quiet." Next to her stood Akiha, ready to receive their Guests.
"Oh, don't be like that." Kushina said, turning to the old Mon Calamari. "Naruto, Sasuke and the Girls are heading straight back to the Frontier. They won't have enough time to arrive with a bang."
"I wouldn't be so sure, young lady." Akiha said, looking at Kushina with a knowing smirk. "After all, he got that sly prankster characteristic from someone, didn't he?"
Kushina scowled at her, hoping that she'd have forgotten about that by now.
Any further conversation was ceased as the ships landed and their crews went about their post flight checks, whilst the Pilots of the Kunai Fighter's had their droids run a diagnostics as their ships were refuelled for the next leg of their journey.
Kushina looked over to Naruto, who gave her a wave.
"Lady Akiha." She turned back to see an old male with an elongated head address the person next to her.
"Master Mundi. It has been a long time." Akiha answered.
"Indeed it has." Ki Adi Mundi said, before stepping aside for the other two Jedi Masters to greet the aged Mon Calamari.
After their Greetings were said, Akiha introduced Kushina to the trio.
"Masters Jedi, this is Kushina Uzumaki-Namikaze." She introduced her.
"It is an honour to meet you, Master Windu, Master Mundi, Master Jocasta." Kushina said with a formal bow.
"Uzumaki…are you related to Naruto by chance?" Nu asked.
"My Son." Kushina nodded.
"That explains his appearance." Mace said, indicating her non-human features.
"Oh, the resemblance runs deeper than you realize." Akhia chuckled, making Kushina send a half-hearted glare at her.
Some Weeks later
Naruto landed his Fighter in the Kurama's Hanger.
"Ghost Squadron, deploy to aid the 'Mera'." He called out as he jumped out. "Get ready to jump at a moment's notice."
"Sir." The Pilots called as they scrambled.
"Predator Squadron. You are on patrol duty. Take over from Nexu Squadron."
"On it, Sir." Predator leader, a Cereanean Pilot said, before using his Com-link to contact the rest of his Squadron.
As Naruto headed to the Bridge, he called out several more orders, including for someone to bring him the data on any Recent Purgil activities in the System.
"How was the Patrol?" Karin asked as she handed him a datapad.
"Had a run in with a small group of Purgil…it's bad enough that they just fly into whatever is in their way, but the group I encountered had a couple of youngsters with them…the little shits got a little too close for comfort." He sighed and rubbed his head. "Krin was caught in their path as they jumped."
Karin nodded. Krin was a Bothan pilot who despite having a bad attitude, became one of the few non-Force sensitives to join Naruto's personal Squadron, 'Naruto's Marauders'. And he wasn't a rookie either. He EARNED his spot as Naruto's Wingman whilst out on Patrols.
That Evening
Naruto slumped into his chair in his quarters, finally letting the events of the past several hours wash over him.
What began with a simple recon flight to investigate suspicious activities amongst the neighbouring systems' asteroid field, they came upon a flight of Purgil, whose young ones came to playfully nudge their Fighters.
When the nudges became more violent, Krin's cockpit cracked and he flinched, gunning the Kunai's engines and scaring the Purgil, whose tentacles began to light up like a light string.
Unfortunately for Naruto, he had an upfront view of the event that happened next. Whilst gunning his engines, Krin had inadvertently flown right into their jump path and his fighter practically disintegrated.
Naruto covered his face in his hands, his body shacking.
He remembered the day just under 3 years ago, shortly before he became a Fleet Admiral, when he invited Krin to join his Squadron.
A year later, he designated Krin to be his official Wingman when on scouting missions whilst he lead his own flight within the Squadron when on Combat Duty.
He remembered the friendly banter that the Bothan, bad attitude or not, brought into the Squadron. Or the time he was thrown into the brig for the night because he decked Naruto across the face after becoming extremely drunk.
He was the best non-Force Sensitive Pilot in the Fleet, Naruto reckoned, and definitely in the top 10 Pilots overall in the 9th Fleet.
He just sat there for the next hour until the Funeral Service.
A month later, 9 months before Geonosis
Naruto was back in the Elemental System, deep in meditation as he nimbly dodged and deflected Stingbolts (1) from at least a dozen training droids all firing at full auto.
Krin's death had hit him hard, but with the help from his Parents and Shizuka, the knowledge that these events aren't that uncommon and regular visits to a Therapist, he returned to normal after 2 weeks.
So deep in his meditation was he, that he didn't hear the doors open with a hiss and a person walk in.
Only when the droids began being set onto standby mode, did he realize that there was someone in the room.
"Teme." He greeted the newcomer.
"Dobe." Sasuke greeted back. "The Council wishes to see us."
"Us?" Naruto said, grabbing his utility belt on the way out.
"The two of us are amongst the nominees chosen to become Sensei's for the current batch of Academy Graduates." Sasuke said.
"Oh, I already feel sorry for the kids that end up having you as a Teacher." Naruto said with a smirk.
"That should be my line." Sasuke shot back, before both of them chuckled.
They soon arrived at the Shuttle waiting to take them to the Main Je'daii Temple in the System, where they would meet their future charges.
Neither or them knew it, but things were about to get very complicated soon.
(1): what else does one call the little yellow bolts shot by the training droid/orb/thingys…they don't stun (those are apparently the blue circle things) they aren't deadly, they just sting…

Sorry that it took over a year to update this story. I prioritised my studies and other stories for a while, but then time went by much faster than I anticipated. Before I knew it, a year had passed since I last uploaded a chapter.
So for now, I'll try to give those stories I haven't uploaded in a while some attention. Next up will be the Sky and Moon Dragon of Fairy Tail since I am almost half way done with the next chapter, then I will try and finish up the chapters for the revised Naruto X Akame ga Kill story. Shouldn't take too long for that.
