Satella Pov
Today has got to be the best day ever! I'm going to the capital with Subaru. Isn't that exciting? To spend time with my friend and keep him close.
The duo of Subaru and Satella were in the carriage as they would be arriving in the capital in a few days, so in the meantime they had each other and their thoughts to keep them company.
Subaru on one hand was thinking as to what he would do once they arrived as he needed to go to the capital to learn as much as possible about this new world. He needed to get stronger, and smarter so he would be able to protect Satella from the dangers that threatened her.
He couldn't fail now, not here, not ever. He would for sure get his happy ending this time, even if he doesn't have return by death, he will make sure he doesn't die until he sees her smile blooming as he saved her from her dark fate.
On the contrary a certain half elf was thinking about all the fun her and Subaru could have in the capital.
We could go shopping for some cute new clothes, I always wanted a change of design. Orrrrrr we can go out to eat some delicious treats and have some quality time together.
The blushing half elf was currently making plans for a potential date with the oblivious boy as he didn't realize her hand was slowly moving towards his. Once the contact had been made both members' hands intertwined together, not at all bothered by the sudden contact, as this was nothing new to them.
Subaru's time with Satella was a peaceful time to say the least. Both had gotten comfy with each other as they spent time together, doing many activities such as doing dishes, cleaning around the house, cooking and eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner together, and sometimes would even sleep on the same bed.
Subaru would often get nightmares and wake up screaming in the night, and Satella would rush in and join Subaru as she pulled him into a gentle and caring embrace, bringing his head to her soft chest as she stroked his head to comfort him. She wasn't bothered by it as it gave her the chance to see his cute face up close, Subaru would usually wake up flustered and embarrassed when he woke up to his head resting peacefully on her rising and falling chest, her breathing being felt ever so slightly as he turned his head to see a gentle smile spread across her features.
Satella decided to lean onto Subaru's, shoulder hands still together as she rested and thought about their time together, she was starting to feel something foreign for this man, not at all an unpleasant feeling, and she believes she knows exactly what it is...
