He watches her saunter in, the killer confidence evident as she crosses the room and chooses a seat on the back. She wears a red tshirt and white jeans, a red bow in her hair, and she leans over to whisper something in Tina's ears. Tina shoots her a smile and as Mr Schue enters Sugar claps her hand.

She turns to face him and gives him a small smile. He smiles back, so she winks at him. His smile widens.

She dances back up as Santana sings, and he can't help but beam as he watches her.

He tells Brittany he'll be home late and then he gets into her expensive looking car. They go to a drive through because she says she doesn't like the Lima Bean. She buys him a coffee and they talk. He tells her about Ireland, about his home and his family and she tells him about growing up in Lima. Then she drives him back to the Pierce household. Whitney Pierce invites her in for food and she agrees to stay. She hits it off with Whitney and Pierce Pierce straight away.

"What a delight that Sugar is." Whitney compliments as he washes up, Whitney sits at the dining room table, Pierce beside her.
"She was the one in red right?" Pierce checks. Whitney whispers something and he turns to face Rory. "Tory," He states as Rory puts the plate he's washing into the sink, Whitney whispers again. "sorry Rory," Pierce corrects himself. "Sugar seems like the perfect girl for you." He states glancing at his wife who nods her head. "May I give you some dating tips?"

She's sat down when he walks into Glee club on Monday, she leans forward and whispers in Artie's ear. He laughs. He watches jealous of the boy in the wheelchair who she seems so intent on flirting with.

He whirls her around the dance floor. Rightly so she is the belle of the ball, beautiful and confident and clearly having the best time of anyone there. She dances and throws money around like it's candy, and he knows how lucky he is to be her date.

She shivers and so he takes off his jacket and hands it to her. He isn't tall but his jacket is still too big for her. She laughs and thanks him and kisses his cheek when they reach her front door.
But she won't come dancing tonight. She's having the time of her life.
He asks if she's up for another date, she responds with a shoulder shrug and a maybe.

The next day she flirts with Artie in glee club. He watches with a sigh.

He buys her lunch and adds a rose to her tray, just like Mr Pierce suggested, she laughs and kisses him on the cheek again. He notices Artie watching with a frown and he can't help but smirk at the knowledge that he is winning

Tuesday he doesn't see her until glee club and she's so busy talking with Mercedes and Quinn, she fails to notice anyone else in the room.

They reach regionals and they perform their first number as a group, then he watches from the wings as she performs with the trouble tones, a smile on his face as he see's her dancing.

The next song she joins all the girls on stage and the smile cannot be wiped off her face as she performs, he steps into one of the upper level boxes as planned singing backing vocals and watching the girls on stage as he stands with his hands behind his back and a smile on his face.

Before he knows it the troubletones are finished and he's walking out to sing back up for Rachel Berry, that song flies by and then they're into paradise and he's focusing on trying to remember his dance moves.

They win. He can hardly believe it, but they win. He stands on the stage watching the confetti come flying down and trying to grab the trophy, she jumps onto Artie's lap before she reaches him and offers him a kiss on the cheek. "We did it." She whispers in his ear.

They're greeted with cups of confetti as they enter McKinley as national champions and when they reach the choir room she soaks him in sparkling cider and tells him she loves him. He responds by kissing her.

He knows this is their last date, so does she, so they make the most of it spending the whole day together and when he drops her home she hands him a plane ticket so he can come and visit. He knows his Visa won't allow it, but he doesn't tell her that.
