-Chapter 6-
-At the McCall house-
Julia had never thought things through, she liked to act first, ask questions later. It had
worked as far as she was concerned. But this time was different. She had no plan, no escape route, just her and her brother surrounded by a pack of supernatural creatures. An alpha. A werecoyote. A banshee. A werewolf and a Stiles.
''Hello Isaac.'' said Julia, she had entered the house with a bang, as she had intended. The element of surprise went out the window the previous day when she had come face to face with their alpha, Scott.
''What are you doing here?'' muttered Isaac. This was the last thing he had wanted. Not only was he hoping to avoid a confrontation with Julia but she had brought Ivan along. The boy couldn't fight much less protect himself against an alpha.
''You know why I'm here.'' Julia was also hoping to avoid a confrontation but knowing Isaac that wasn't very likely. She had to admit, they had a much bigger advantage than her. But that wasn't about to stop her.
''You are not getting the Revelling stone. I won't allow it.'' said Scott. He had stepped up next to Isaac. He sensed danger from this girl, she was alone alongside a smaller werewolf, most likely a beta, but she seemed strong.
''I don't have a choice. I'm not leaving without that stone.'' said Julia. She was ready to yank that stone off the alphas dead body.
''Ivan?'' Liam had finally spoken again. He had seen the boy when he first entered, alongside the new girl. He couldn't believe it at first, in shock. He liked him, he trusted him.
''I'm so sorry.'' Ivan was standing far behind Julia. He had never wanted to come to this town in the first place and now, having to fight the only friends he had made. He just wanted it to be over and done with. Go back home.
''You dragged your brother along. How could you?'' inquired Isaac. He had known Ivan to be one of the weaker werewolves within the pack. Generally keeping to himself. He looked terrified.
''What my brother and I do is none of your business. You left, and you took the only thing my father cares about with you.'' Julia was now angry and pointing fingers. She was more than ever ready for a fight.
''I had to. You have no idea what your father's actually planning, otherwise you would've done the same thing.'' said Isaac.
''No, there's a difference between you and I, Isaac. I don't betray my people, I don't leave them behind.'' Julia said, anger fuming inside her.
''I'm sorry. I didn't want to hurt either of you. But you know we can't let your father do this, he's crazy.'' Isaac was trying to reason with her, hoping to resolve this without a fight.
''There is no we. Ivan and I will be leaving with the Revelling stone and there's nothing you can do about it.''
''Well see about that.'' said Malia. She was also itching for a fight. With her claws ready, she attempted to pounce on Julia before her alpha's arms grabbed her.
''Malia, no. We are not looking for a fight, let's talk about this.'' said Scott, withholding Malia back. Always the mediator.
''We're not looking for a fight either. Besides what my sister says. We promised dad, we'd get the rolling stone back so he wouldn't hurt Isaac.'' said Ivan, still cowering away, looking at Liam.
''So you won't get one. But you understand we can't let you leave with the stone.'' Scott said.
''Then that's a problem, we want two very different things.'' Julia said, she wasn't backing down, no matter what they said.
''This is a lot of back and forth, you want the stone and we don't want to give you the stone. How will we ever resolve this conundrum.'' said stile, from the corner joined by Lydia, exasperated with this whole situation.
''Just tell me where the stone is, Isaac. No one needs to get hurt.'' said Julia.
''I wouldn't count on that, if it's a fight you're looking for, then it's a fight you're gonna get.'' said Malia.
She was mad now, this girl kept making threats at her friends. Before Scott could once again stop her. Malia jumped at Julia. The two enveloped in a fight, kicking, punching and scratching. Both girls had turned and were going at each other.
Ivan had immigrated himself to a corner, trying to avoid his sister's wrath, he had no doubt this werecoyote was powerful but her sister was very angry.
The two had been at it for a while. No one wanted to intervene, afraid of getting caught in the crossfire. Scott was tired and wanted it to be over. With all his might, he performed his alpha roar. Malia immediately jumped out of her skin, blood strewn across her chest from a gashing scratch by Julia. Julia had barely any visible scratches. She had been winning.
Malia retreated to the couch, being attended to by Mason and Lydia, knowing full well she would heal in time.
''You should control your werecoyote.'' said Julia, being joined by Ivan at her side. She had no visible scars but was breathing harder than normal.
''Im sorry, but you should leave.'' Scott finally said, giving Malia a quick look. She was now healing on the couch, being bandaged by Stiles.
''I said I'm not leaving without the revelling stone.'' Julia said, barreling standing but forcibly pulling her weight to stand taller.
''Malia may have a temper, but I will hurt you. Now leave.'' Finally Scott said, now tired of this whole exchange. Appealing to the girl and her brother.
''Julia, please. You're hurt, let's just go.'' said Ivan, grabbing his sister by her arm.
''I'll be back.'' Finally Julia decided she had had enough, allowing her arm to rest on Ivan and him dragging her out of that house.
''Yeah, we're counting on it.'' said Stiles while bandaging Malia.
