Here's the next chapter. Hope you enjoy.

LordZarcon: Thank you for reviewing. It's not that he is nervous around girls in particular. He's nervous around anybody with an excitable or eccentric personality. Since Lewis isn't a sociable person, he would have trouble communicating with somebody with an outgoing personality than somebody with a calm and relax personality. For example, in the third chapter he meets Iida and Momo. Iida was his usual stiff attitude which brings Lewis out of his comfort zone, but when he meets Momo he was more relaxed, due to her elegant and serene tone. So, Lewis' nervousness is not influenced by gender, but by different character attributes.

Plus, Lewis is a hormonal teenager so...yeah, that's also a factor.

I hope that makes sense.

Chapter 6: Trials And Elections

"YOUR TIME STARTS NOW!" All Might announced.

Sato and Aoyama entered the building. Sato looked around the ground floor trying to any signs of traps or any ambush attempts.

"Looks like the coast is…" Sato started to say before he noticed Aoyama was more interested in posing for a camera hidden in the corner of the room.

"…clear," he finished with a sigh.

Reaching into one of his pockets he had on his waist, he pulled out three sugar cubes and popped them into his mouth. Almost instantly his muscles began to bulk up all over his body as well as grow a couple inches taller.

Sugar Rush: Allows him to increase his strength five-fold for three minutes. When converting sugar into strength, his cognitive functions gradually drop, making him very sleepy afterward.

"Let's head up to next floor. We'll find them eventually," Sato suggested to his partner in a deep tone.

"Of course, mon ami. We'll dazzle them into submission," Aoyama replied fancily.

"Still have no idea what you mean," Sato grumbled as they both headed towards the stairs.

Monitor Room

"So, who do you think is going to win this one, Momo?" Hagakure, a girl who was completely invisible, bubbly asked the taller girl.

Invisibility: Pretty self-explanatory (A.N Sorry Hagakure)

Momo was taken slightly back by the question, "Who me?" she asked.

"Yeah," Kirishima confirmed with a wide grin, "you were able to predict the results of the other trials correctly."

"Err well…I'll try," she said bashfully before looking towards the monitors showing the teams, "The hero team do have an edge over the villain team when it comes to strength. Especially with Sato's strength enhancing quirk. Not only that but, Aoyama's navel laser is just as powerful if he gets a direct hit, but it would be tricky for him to use in a confined space. While what I could gather from the test from yesterday, Fleetwood and Ashido are skilled acrobatically. Ashido's quirk is good for offence and defence and she can use her acid to for extra mobility. Fleetwood…" she paused as she tried to think of everything she can on the English boy, "his quirk is still a mystery. I know he can teleport, but I am unaware of any specifics or his limitations. However, judging by him detaining Bakugo yesterday-"

Bakugo growled in annoyance when Momo mentioned that.

"-I say that he has received training in combat in the past. All I can say about this trial is that it would be fairly even," Momo concluded causing the other students to chatter in excitement.

Todoroki glared harshly at the screen that showed Lewis.

'Training huh,' she thought suspiciously 'he better not be sent by him.'

Ground Beta

Sato and Aoyama had finished searching the first two floors and there was no sign of the villain team.

Sato hummed he ate another sugar cube to keep his muscular form. He was ahead of Aoyama as they walked down the narrow hallway.

"Hey, Aoyama. Do you know what the American's quirk is?" Sato asked over his shoulder.

"Malheureusement, I do not," Aoyama sighed dramatically as Sato turned to the front again, "all I know is that his costume lacks any sort of- AHHHH!"

Sato turned around instantly at his partner's shout only to see he wasn't there.

"Huh!" Sato cried out in surprise searching the area frantically, "where did he go?"

"You could ask the English person," a new voice suggested.

Sato twirled around to see Lewis, with his goggles and mask on, leaning lazily on the wall. He was spinning his hat on the end of his finger whilst looking at his gloved hand as if he were looking at his nails.

"If you asked politely enough, that is," Lewis continued as he tuned his head towards Sato.

"…Are you wearing cat ears?" Sato asked pointing to his hat holders.

Lewis hanged his head in defeat as he placed his hat back on his head. His cool persona and his pride shattered at the same time.

"I knew taking my hat off was a bad idea" Lewis muttered sadly to himself.

"Never mind that!" Sato shouted as he pointed to a glum looking Lewis, "Where did you take Aoyama.

Lewis straightened himself up, "I could tell you…" Lewis mused, "but where's the fun in that. Besides, I would be more worried about yourself hero," he said smirking behind his mask.

- Flashback a few minutes ago-

"This is the plan," Lewis said to his partner, "I can make portals in enclosed spaces like my hat or this hoop," Lewis explained holding a plastic hula-hoop, "as long as I am holding it."

"How does that work?" Ashido asked slightly confused.

Lewis took a pause to think. He had no idea how it worked. He discovered he could this one day a couple of years ago when experimenting. All he thought of at the time was that it would be easier transporting stuff. There're still many parts of his quirk he does not understand yet and it is one of the reasons why he wanted to go to a hero a school. Investigating his quirk is also the reason why he was keen to make his own support gear.

Ashido saw his thinking face and decided to drop the subject.

"Never mind," she said waving her hand in dismissal, "What's the rest of the plan?"

Lewis snapped out of it, "Well, I can create a portal to the top floor of the building, I can slide this under Aoyama," Lewis explained holding the hoop up, "and he'll be sent there meaning we can split them up. Do you think you can handle Aoyama while I take on Sato?" he asked.

Ashido nodded her head eagerly, "Yep! How are you going to defeat him though?" she asked.

As she said that Lewis couldn't help but think of All Might's words again.

'There is more to combat than punching your enemies.'

Lewis smiled, "Don't worry. I've got an idea. And I won't even need to throw a punch."

– Flashback end –

Lewis felt the familiar adrenaline rush he got in the entrance exam making him more confident in his actions. He had been using his quirk to map out the entire building in his head plus the portal he created in the hoop had taken a lot of out him when he slid it under Aoyama. Maybe there was a link between the overuse of his quirk and how confident he was.

"Listen villain, if you surrender now and tell me where Aoyama and the bomb is you'll get a less serious sentence. You know that's the right thing," Sato declared getting into his role as a hero.

And then in a quieter voice, "Sorry for calling you American, by the way," Sato apologised.

"That's fine, honest mistake," Lewis waved off kindly before going back to his villain persona, "You really think it's that easy to change me, hero," he mocked, with a small chuckle.

He pushed himself of the wall and stood a couple of meters in front of Sato.

They stared down each other. Preparing for a fight.

"Well, you're right. I surrender," Lewis declared, surprising Sato.

Sato hesitated in confusion.

He didn't expect this.

"W…what you do?" he asked scratching his head.

Lewis nodded, "Yes. I'll tell you where Aoyama and the bomb are and surrender myself to the authorities," he said calmly holding his hands in the air.

Sato was taken aback by this. He looked around to see if this is some sort of a trick, but he couldn't see any obvious ones. He turned back to Lewis with a raised eyebrow.

"Err…well…than I guess-"

"IF…" Lewis shouted making Sato jump, "you manage to tag me."

"Tag you?" Sato asked.

Lewis nodded, "Yep! One simple tap, no matter how light, and I'll surrender. Sound good?" he asked cheerily crossing his arms in front of him.

Sato wasn't expecting this from Lewis. As far as he knew, Lewis was a shy, quiet person. Perhaps, he was putting on an act.

Sato took a step towards Lewis.

Lewis didn't move a muscle.

He took another step forward, but Lewis still didn't move.

Feeling more assured, Sato approached Lewis, held out his hand and attempted to tap his shoulder.

Lewis stepped back at the last moment.

Sato raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"You have to do better than that," Lewis mocked.

Sato tried to tap him again, but this time faster.

Lewis just dodged it again.

"Almost there," Lewis said teasingly.

"Where is this attitude coming from?" Sato asked, "I didn't think you were this type of person."

"Sorry," Lewis apologised, "I'm not quite sure myself. I think my quirk is affecting my-,"

Lewis dodged out of the way of another swipe by Sato.

"Nice one. You distracted me that time," Lewis cheerily said as he moved out of the way of a barrage of hits by Sato.

"Damn, almost got you," Sato grunted before trying to catch Lewis with both arms.

Lewis ducked down and slid under Sato's legs while he fell forward. Sato almost tripped up but caught himself.

Sato looked back at Lewis who cocked his head to the side.

"This isn't going to be easy for me, is it?" Sato asked sadly.

"Nope!"

Sato ran towards Lewis, hoping to catch him off guard. However, he saw Lewis flick his right hand and a playing card appeared between his fingers. Before he could wonder what he was doing, Lewis threw the card at Sato's head making him duck. He looked back to where the card had gone.

He turned back to where Lewis was, but the English boy was gone.

"Come on!" the disembodied voice of Lewis said from somewhere, "I thought you wanted to save the day, hero."

Sato frowned and took off towards the where the voice was coming from.

Unknown to Sato, Lewis pressed a button on his watch, making it start to countdown from five minutes.

Top Floor

Aoyama landed on the floor with a heavy thud.

"AIE!" he shouted in pain as he hit the floor.

After recovering for a couple of seconds, Aoyama sat up and took a look at his surroundings. All the hallways looked the same in the building so he couldn't tell what floor he was on. Although, judging by the fact that he fell he must be on one of the lower levels. He didn't see his partner anywhere which was worrying.

Picking himself up, Aoyama walked down the hallway.

"Mon dieu," Aoyama said, "I must find my partner before-"

"Before a villain finds you!" a female voice shouted causing him to spin around.

Ashido stood before him with a wide grin and acid forming in the palm of her hands.

"You have fallen into our trap, hero," she declared spinning around dramatically and sending drops of acid around, "and if you don't surr-"

"NNNOOONNN!" Aoyama screamed making Ashido stop mid-monologue.

Aoyama was on his knees clutching his sparkly cape in his hands. Looking closer, Ashido saw holes start to burn through his cape, damaging it.

"Oh," Ashido said when she noticed a couple drops of her acid had landed on his cape.

"My cape, ruined!" Aoyama cried, still clutching his cape.

Mina just stared at the scene awkwardly, "Dude…are you alright?" she asked in concern.

Aoyama continued to cry his eyes out while Ashido looked uncomfortable.

Monitor Room

'Looks like young Ashido has already dealt with young Aoyama,' All Might mumbled in his mind as he watched the pink skinned use the capture tape to tie Aoyama's hands. The other students just sweat dropped at the scene.

Their attention was drawn to Lewis and Sato. It was like a game of cat and mouse. Sato was trying to capture Lewis, but he was simply dodging or using his quirk to get away.

"I got to say," Kirishima said, "running away from your opponent isn't very manly."

Momo hummed, "I don't think he's running away," she countered, "look."

She pointed to a screen showing Sato chasing Lewis down a hall. It didn't seem out of ordinary until they noticed they just passed the room where the bomb was in.

"Wait a minute," Ochako cried out, "Sato just passed the bomb. An undefended bomb."

"THAT'S CORRECT!" All might confirmed, "INSTEAD OF DIRECT COMBAT, YOUNG FLEETWOOD HAS DISTRACTED YOUNG SATO FROM THE ORIGINAL GOAL AND TAKEN THE BATTLE INTO HIS OWN HANDS."

"Fleetwood must of know that he couldn't take on Sato in a fight. So instead, Fleetwood is using Sato's muscular form and his slow reactions against him," Iida wondered out loud.

"Not only that," Momo continued, "since Sato is so occupied, he doesn't have to defend the bomb and risk Sato overpowering him. Quite clever."

The others agreed except for Bakugo, who was still in shock of his defeat, and Todoroki.

Todoroki stared at the screen that showed Lewis. She narrowed her eyes in suspicion.

Time was almost up for the heroes and Sato still hasn't caught Lewis. His been running up and down the stairs, down hallways and tried every single trick he could think of to tag Lewis. However, he was just too fast for Sato and would use his quirk or his playing cards to get away from him.

Sato was exhausted, his supply of sugar was used up and he was lying on the floor trying to catch his breath. Lewis stood leaning beside a door just in front of the tired Sato. He had barely broken a sweat and looked to be actually enjoying himself.

"Your so close. You can just reach out and touch my shoe," Lewis encouraged, holding out his foot for him.

Sato just looked at the foot but made no attempt to touch it.

Lewis sighed before looking at his watch.

"Well, almost time," he declared.

"Al…mos…t…time…for…wha…t?" Sato asked through deep breaths.

"For me to tell you that Aoyama is on the top floor and the bomb is right here," Lewis said opening the door next to him.

Sato looked into the room and saw, to his horror, that the bomb was within walking distance.

"Wait…a…minute…we…passed…that…room…like…five…times," Sato said pointing at the undefended bomb.

"Yep, and just to let you know that Aoyama was captured by my partner a couple of minutes ago and you have ten seconds to capture the bomb before the time runs out. Just enough time to make my escape." Lewis explained, causing Sato to give him an alarmed expression.

"Bye," Lewis said giving a cheery wave before picking the hem of his coat and disappearing.

Sato crawled towards the bomb, but his exhaustion was hindering him. He only made it halfway before…

"TIME'S UP! THE VILLAIN TEAM WINS!" All Might declared.

Sato slumped to the floor in defeat.

Top Floor

Meanwhile, Ashido was celebrating their victory. Aoyama was still whimpering with his hands tied behind his back in the corner.

"Woohoo, we did it!" Ashido shouted happily.

"I know right!" a voice shouted behind her.

Ashido wasn't expecting it and yelped in surprise. On instinct, Acid shot out of her hands towards where the voice had come from. Lewis only had a second to react to the acid coming towards him. He turned around and it hit Lewis's coat. Almost instantly, the coat started to burn and melt causing Lewis to quickly take off the coat and leave it as a smoking heap on the floor.

"Oh crap! Fleetwood, I'm so sorry," Ashido apologised, once she realised who it was.

Fleetwood stared at the melting on the floor. He was upset since it was his uncle's coat and was perfect for disappearing in. However, it was his fault for making Ashido jump, besides at least it wasn't his hat. That would be devastating. Lewis pulled down his mask and smiled reassuringly at Ashido.

"It's fine. It was my fault," he waved off, "plus I needed a new costume anyway."

Ashido was happy to see he wasn't upset with her. She didn't want to deal with two Aoyamas in one day. Hearing him mention a new costume, she couldn't help but give him a coy smile.

"A new costume, huh. Are you going to keep the cat ears?" she asked teasingly, making Lewis go red.

"They're not cat ears," Lewis mumbled before taking a look at Aoyama.

"What did you do to him?" he asked in genuine concern as he saw him crying.

"I did nothing," Ashido denied before looking at Aoyama, "…to damaging at least."

Outside U.A

Lewis walked out of his school gates with a small smile on his face. All Might had given the results of the test and praised the villain team for the diversion plan. Lewis, after recovering from the overuse of his quirk, apologised to Sato for his sneaky plan and mocking attitude, but the larger boy waved it off saying it was his fault for fooling for it. Although, Sato did mention how his mask was a bit creepy and so, like the rest of his costume, Lewis had to redesign his mask.

Ashido was eager for them to become friends and insisted they swap phone numbers. Lewis has now a girl's phone number, something he didn't think he'll ever achieve in his lifetime.

Before he left for the day, Lewis checked in on Midoriya in the Recover Girl's office. The elderly nurse had to fix his arm, but other than some bruising Midoriya was fine. He was eager to hear what happened in the battle trials and Lewis told them all about it before Recovery Girl shooed him out.

He was now in a happy mood, humming to tune of the Cockeny Rejects' 'I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles' that was playing on his phone. He was in such a good mood that he didn't notice the sheet of ice covering his feet until it was too late.

Looking down at his trapped feet in surprise, he followed the ice to Todoroki he glared at him in hatred.

Lewis took out his earphones and looked at the stoic girl in worry.

"Err…hi…Todoroki. Why did you-"

"Shut up," she cut Lewis off, "He sent you here to spy on me, didn't he," she accused.

Lewis gave her a confused look, attempting to pull his feet out of the ice.

"I…d…d…don't-" Lewis tried to respond.

"Drop the act. My…father sent you here. He trained you in combat. That's why you've been trying to talk to me. Confess," she accused again, gritting her teeth when said father.

Lewis took a deep breath, trying to ignore the cold ice, "Todoroki, I have not been sent by anyone. My uncle trained me, he's works for the police," he calmly explained to the furious girl.

"Then why were you trying to talk to me. Gather information?" she questioned aggressively.

"No I-"

"Trying to assess my quirk?"

"Todoroki, please-"

"Planning to defeat the daughter of the number two hero?"

"YOU LOOKED SAD!" Lewis shouted at her, making her step back in slight surprise.

"You looked sad and lonely, and I thought you needed a friend, ok! I was doing what I wanted people to do whenever I was alone back in England! I don't know you! I don't know your father or whatever the hell is going on here! I just wanted to talk to you because I wanted to!" Lewis shouted back with a sharp glare.

Silence fell.

Neither of them was dropping the staring match.

Internally, Lewis was trying the best way to apologise for shouting at her. He has never done that somebody.

Eventually, Todoroki sniffed and turned away.

"Fine," she plainly said, "just don't get in my way."

She made to walk away when Lewis called back to her.

"Todoroki."

She turned her head towards him, "What?"

Lewis hesitated for a moment as he tried to find the right words.

"I...I...don't know what's going on...and I have no right to know. I just want to let you know that you're not alone. There's me...and...and the whole class- although I would probably avoid Bakugo...and that short boy who was looking at the girls...inappropriately. Whatever you are dealing with; please don't feel like you have to push others away and isolate yourself. After all, it's a hero's duty to look out for the wellbeing of others."

He felt a tinge of sadness as he remembered how he isolated himself after his parents died. He didn't want anybody to go through like he did.

"Why do you care?" she spat out.

Lewis lightly smiled at her and shrugged.

"Because I do," he simply said.

Todoroki just stared at him for a couple of seconds. Lewis was honestly convinced she was going to freeze him up to his neck.

However, she just wordlessly turned away and out of Lewis' sight.

Lewis released a breath he didn't know he was holding.

'Oh my goodness, I can't believe I got away with that. That was the stupidest…one of the stupidest things I have ever done,' he panically thought.

He looked down to see his feet were still trapped in ice.

He looked up and down the empty street, "I'm going to be for a long time, aren't I."

He was.

The next day

"Hey kid, what can you tell us about All Might's teaching methods," a reporter asked, shoving a microphone into a terrified Lewis face.

"What subject does All Might teach?" another reporter asked.

"Can you give an insight as to why All Might had decided to teach at U.A?"

"Is All Might a good teacher?"

When Lewis walked to school today, he wasn't expecting the mob of reporters outside the gates. He attempted to sneak past them when a cameraman noticed his school uniform and before he knew it, he was surrounded by them, trying to get a comment about All Might as a teacher from him.

Luckily for Lewis, his uncle had taught him a way to get away from reporters.

"Sorry, I don't speak Japanese. I must really get to my class so if you don't mind letting me go that would be great," Lewis said in English, putting on a heavy accent.

The reporters groaned, "Damn it, the American has no idea what we're saying" one of them muttered, not bothering to talk quietly in front of disgruntled looking Lewis.

"Let's see if we can find another one," another reporter groaned and so after the mob of reporters dispersed.

Lewis walked in through the school gates, patting himself on the back for a job well done.

Although, as soon as he entered, he couldn't shake off the feeling that he was being watched. He turned back to look out on the street. He saw the mob of reporters and some students trying to get in, but nothing out of the ordinary.

That's when he laid eyes on a figure standing on the opposite side of the street. Lewis couldn't make out much of the figure's features excerpt for his skinny frame and grey blue hair.

He just stood there.

Not moving an inch.

Watching.

Just watching.

A chill ran down Lewis' spine.

"Fleetwood," the dull voice of his homeroom teacher snapped him out of thoughts, "get to class. I'll deal with the media circus," Aizawa sighed as he made his way towards the reporters.

"Right," Lewis said as he made his way towards the school building.

He didn't dare take another look at the figure.

1.A Class

Ashido greeted Lewis lively as soon as he entered the classroom.

"Good morning, Neko-chan," Ashido said loudly causing Lewis to groan in embarrassment.

"Why did you call him Neko-chan?" Hagakure asked as she turned to her friend.

Ashido giggled, "Didn't you see in the monitor room?" she asked.

"No Ashido, please don't," Lewis begged in vain.

"He where's cat ears under his hat. It's totally adorable," Ashido blurted out despite Lewis' pleas.

"What no way," Hagakure giggled as the other pupils listened in.

"I can confirm that," Sato added.

"They're not cat ears," Lewis insisted as some of the students started chuckling, "they're holders for my hat. They just happen to look like cat ears."

"Wow really," Midoriya said, "did you make it yourself?"

"Yes, I did," Lewis answered, happy that Midoriya was focusing on the important part.

"But you designed them to look like cat ears?" Sero asked with his usual grin.

"Well…I mean I didn't do it intentionally," Lewis admitted making the others giggle louder.

"Are you hoping for a position in the Wild, Wild Pussycats, Fleetwood?" Asui asked, genuinely curious.

"I don't know who they are?" Lewis asked.

"Yeah, are you thinking of adding a tail for balance as well," Kaminari joked from his seat.

"Alright guys he's had enough," Jiro said after she recovered from her laughter.

"Thank you, Jiro," Lewis thanked gratefully.

"We're sorry, Fleetwood," Jiro continued before a teasing grin spread across her face, "can we make it up to you with a saucer of milk."

Laughter erupted again as Lewis gave Jiro a betrayed look.

"Alright everyone that's enough," Iida ordered in his usual stiff manor.

'Thank you, Iida,' Lewis cried in joy internally.

"We should not make fun of our fellow pupils' tastes. If Fleetwood wants to wear cat ears, then that is not our business," Iida continued.

'For goodness' sake!' Lewis screamed in his mind.

"Aww, we just teasing him. Look at his little embarrassed face," Ashido said pointing at Lewis who was trying to make look as small as possible.

The door slammed open and Aizawa stepped into class.

"Everybody in your seats," he ordered sternly.

As Lewis made it to his seat, he saw Todoroki sitting at her seat and as usual was looking ahead.

"Good morning, Todoroki. How are you this morning?" Lewis greeted the stoic girl as he sat down.

Todoroki sent a glare at him and then stared straight ahead again.

Lewis sighed and listened to Aizawa's morning notices.

He went over the reviews of the battle trials taken place yesterday. He was particularly stern towards Bakugo and Midoriya, but that was unsurprising due to the damage they caused. The homeroom teacher eventually made his way to Fleetwood.

"Fleetwood," Aizawa called out, making Lewis straighten up.

The teacher stared at him for a moment causing Lewis to sweat a little.

"Not bad," Aizawa said, surprising Lewis a little.

"Err…thank you, sir," Lewis said with a small smile.

"But work on your costume. It's not suitable for proper combat," Aizawa added, making Lewis depressed again.

"Yes, sir. I'll work on it while I'm in the Support Department," Lewis sadly replied.

While Aizawa turned away, Ashido turned around and mouthed 'sorry' to him.

Lewis gave her a small smile in reassurance.

"Let's get down to business," Aizawa announced, "our first task will decide your future."

The whole class grew nervous, hoping it won't be another quirk test.

"You all need to pick a class representative," Aizawa said, much to everybody's relief.

Everybody in the class started to get excited, raising their hands to volunteer to be class representative.

Meanwhile, Lewis just looked confused. They didn't have class representatives in his old school so he didn't really know what responsibilities they held and so he just kept his head down and let somebody else fill the role.

"SILENCE EVERYONE, PLEASE!" Iida roared, silencing the entire class, "The class representative's duty is to lead others. That's not just something just anyone can do. You must first have the trust of every student in the classroom. Therefore, the most logical way to fill this position is democratically. We will hold an election to choose our leader," he declared holding up his arm.

Although everybody could tell that Iida clearly wanted the position.

"Is this really the best idea?" Kaminari asked.

"We've only known each other for a few days," Asui added, "How do we know who we can trust?"

"Besides everyone will just vote for themselves," Kirishima said.

"Most people will, but that means whoever does receive multiple votes must truly be suitable person for the job," Iida defended firmly.

Lewis timidly raised his hand, "Maybe we can have a two vote system. That way people can vote for themselves and for somebody else. Does that sound…good?" Lewis suggested.

Iida hummed in consideration, but Aizawa shot Lewis' idea down.

"We don't have time for that," Aizawa lazily said, already wrapping himself up in his sleeping bag, "go for Iida's idea and get it over with."

"Thank you for your trust," Iida said before Aizawa laid on the floor and took a nap.

Lewis just sat at his desk, too downtrodden to speak up again.

The votes were counted, and the results were in.

Midoryia, who was shaking in nervousness at the front of the class, received three votes making him the new class representative.

Astonishingly for Lewis, he and Momo both received two votes, and they were also stood at the front.

The rest of the class either had one or no votes, something Iida and Bakugo were not happy about.

"So, what are we going to do," Asui said, "Are we going to have two vice presidents, ribbit?"

Lewis shook his head, "No don't worry. I'll let Momo become the vice president," Lewis said.

"Really?" Momo asked Lewis in surprise.

Lewis nodded his head, "Yeah, I don't think I'll be any good at it. I mean no disrespect to the people who voted for me. Thanks, by the way."

He looked out at the class. He saw Ashido give him a wink and Sato gave him a thumbs up.

'I guess they the ones who voted for me,' Lewis thought gratefully.

"Besides," Lewis continued, "I voted for Momo. So, I am more than happy for her to win."

Again, Momo was surprised by what Lewis said, "You did. Why?"

Lewis played with the cuff of his blazer in nervousness, "Well…you were great at analysing our battles trials yesterday…and I thought…you would also be great at…this. I trust you," Lewis answered honestly, but shyly.

Momo was flattered by Lewis' reason, "Thank you, Fleetwood. I will take on the role of vice president," she declared proudly before looking at a shaking Midoriya.

Momo hummed in concern, losing her confidence a little.

"Since that's over with, Fleetwood take your seat," Aizawa ordered sitting up in his sleeping bag.

Lewis yelped and made his way to his seat.

As lessons started, Lewis sighed in relief. He didn't think he could handle the responsibility of vice president, let alone class president. Although, he couldn't help, but feel concerned for Midoriya. He looked like he couldn't handle the responsibilities as well.

Cafeteria

Lewis looked around the lunch hall trying to find a seat that wasn't taken.

He managed to survive his second lesson in the Support Department. Mostly, because Hatsume hadn't forced him to experiment one of her babies. Underneath the mad scientist attitude and her potentially lethal contraptions, Hatsume was a decent person. She was enthusiastic about her gear and Lewis admired that. He only wished she stopped calling him her guinea pig.

He had also, eventually, talked to the other people in the Support Department. They and Power Loader had shown him tips on how to create a better coat he could use. Something more resistant to damage. He was also in the process of designing a new hat he could use. The battle trial was a wakeup call. How could he be so stupid; that hat was too precious to take into combat. He supposed it was better to learn now, than to learn later. Plus, it would be exciting designing his costume from scratch. At least he was around people who knew what they were doing.

Lewis did try and invite Todoroki to eat with him, but as expected, she just ignored him. He frowned as he looked over the busy Lunch Hall. All the years ate at the same time, so it looked like he was going to eat somewhere else.

"Fleetwood! Over here!" a voice called out to him.

He looked around to see Kendo waving at him. Lewis hadn't seen her since the entrance exam, and it was nice to know she had got into U.A. She pointed to a seat across from her, inviting him to a seat.

Lewis made his way over, bobbing and weaving through the crowds until he made it to Kendo. She was sat with six other girls, two of which he recognised. Shiozaki was sat on Kendo's right while Komori, the girl with the mushroom-like hair who Lewis accidently ran into, was in the seat left to the chair Kendo was pointing to. Shiozaki greeted Lewis with a polite smile and a nod, while Komori glanced at him before hiding under her bangs shyly.

The other four girls Lewis didn't recognise, and they looked at him with various reactions. To Shiozaki's right was a black haired girl and an emotionless face. Lewis was reminded of Todoroki for a second, but the girl seemed to be less…agitated with him. She looked up at him, stoically nodded and turned back to her lunch.

To her right was a girl with long, dark green hair and large green eyes. She had a large smile which showed her pointy teeth. When see saw him, her smile grew wider, and her eyes narrowed slightly in way that made Lewis gulp. He could tell that she's somebody who likes to tease people like him.

Across from her was a girl with blond hair and blue eyes. The most noticeable part of her was her equine features, like her short muzzle and her hooved feet, as well as the large horns that grew out of her head. She gave him a cheery smile and a wave that helped Lewis recover from the previous girls.

To her right and on Komori's left is a girl with short silver hair which covered one of her grey eyes. Her posture reminded Lewis of Asui's, she even held her hands the same way. She looked over to him with a small smile and a nod.

"Hey, Fleetwood. Haven't seen you in a while," Kendo greeted as he approached.

"Err…yeah. I've…been busy. I'm glad to see you have gotten in. You too Shiozaki and Komori," Lewis replied.

Shiozaki placed her hands together as if she were praying, "My lord has blessed me with the honour of going to a noble hero school, to which I am thankful for. I had prayed for your acceptance as well, Fleetwood."

Komori looked up at Lewis before blushing and turning back to her food.

"I'm glad you're here too, Fleetwood," she said timidly.

"Would you like to join us," Kendo asked pointing to the seat.

"Are you sure? I don't want to intrude," Lewis asked glancing at the other girls on the table.

"Your fine. It's not like there are any other seats," Kendo reassured.

Lewis said a quick thank you before sitting next to Komori, who squeaked at the close contact.

He was about to start eating when he felt something rustle his hair. He turned to his right but saw nothing. Then something poked his left cheek. He turned sharply to see a disembodied hand floating in front of him causing him to yelp in surprise. The green haired girl laughed hysterically as the hand floated back to her and reattached itself to her arm. The other girls sighed at her antics.

"Tokage, please don't tease Fleetwood," Kendo scolded her as Tokage wiped a tear from her eye.

"What, you really think you can drop a cutie on us and expect me not to tease him," she said, giggling as he recovered from his shock, "besides, you haven't introduced him to us," she added grinning a teasing grin at Lewis.

Kendo sighed again but smiled as she held out her hand towards Lewis.

"This is Fleetwood. Shiozaki and I met him at the entrance exams," Kendo introduce Lewis to the table. Lewis just gave a shy wave to everybody.

Kendo then turned to Lewis, "Fleetwood, this is Kodai Yui," she pointed to the black haired girl, "Tokage Setsuna," she pointed to the green haired girl who winked at him, "Tsunotori Pony," she pointed to the horse-like girl, "and Reiko Yanagi," she finally pointed to the silver haired girl.

"I'm not quite sure how you know Komori though," Kendo admitted looking between Fleetwood and the mushroom girl.

"Oh, I ran into her accidently when were walking into the building," Lewis explained while Komori nodded her head.

"Aww…so…cute…like…manga…of the…romance," Tsunotori commented in broken Japanese, causing Lewis and Komori to turn bright red.

"It was not like that," Komori squeaked in defence as Tokage started laughing at them again.

Lewis, however, noticed that Tsunotori had an American accent. Texan, maybe?

"Tsunotori, are you American?" Lewis asked in English.

She nodded her head rapidly, "Yep, my mother is from Texas and we lived just outside Austin. My Japanese is not very good yet, as you can probably tell. However, I never met an British person before," Tsunotori replied also in English.

Lewis sighed, "Actually, I'm Eng-" he stopped in realisation, "Wait, did you call me English?" he asked excitedly.

Tsunortori gave him a confused look, "Err…yeah. The accent is dead giveaway."

Lewis almost wept for joy, "Thank goodness. Everybody has been calling me A-" he caught himself in case she took offence, "-has been getting my nationality wrong for months now."

"You know its rude to talk in another language when other people are present," Reiko calmly said, looking between Lewis and Tsunotori, who looked embarrassed at being caught out.

"Yeah, for all we know you two are talking about naughty things," Tokage teased with a wide grin.

"Tokage, please don't be so vulgar," Shiozaki scolded gently.

"Come on, Shiozaki. With a cute face like his I bet he does a lot of naughty things to girls," Tokage continued, making Lewis face burst bright red.

"Tokage!" Kendo loudly warned.

She saw Lewis slowly try and hide himself under the table and thought she needed it to stop. She wanted Lewis to overcome his shyness by introducing him to new people, but she underestimated Tokage.

Tokage saw Lewis and decided to took pity on him.

"Fleetwood, I'm sorry. I won't tease you anymore, promise," she told him with a kind smile.

Lewis, eventually, trusted her and sat up in his seat.

"Tokage is right," Kodai said for the first time, surprising everybody on the table, "You do have a cute face," she admitted calmly and went back to her lunch like nothing happened.

Kendo sighed as he saw Lewis try to go under the table again while Tokage laughed her head off.

Tokage did keep her promise, and, to Kendo's relief, Lewis seemed to be more relaxed around new people. They talked about their hero training and Kendo becoming class 1B's representative. Lewis had enjoyed talking about each other's quirks. He was particularly interested in Tokage's quirk:

Lizard Tail Splitter: allows her to split up her body into as many as 50 pieces. Each and every one of these split pieces are able to levitate and move freely through the air.

Currently, Lewis was telling them about the battle trials they did yesterday and went into full detail of the battle between Midoriya and Bakugo. However, Kendo couldn't help but hear a sad tone in Lewis' explanation.

"Fleetwood, is there something wrong," Kendo asked in concern, "You seem to be upset about something."

Lewis frowned in worry, "Is the rivalry between Midoriya and Bakugo. Well, I think it's a rivalry, it seemed to be very one sided. On one hand, I want to intervene, because I don't want it to prevent their progress as becoming heroes, but on the other hand…"

"It's not of your business," Reiko answered correctly.

"Correct," Lewis confirmed, "I wish there were a way of knowing what's going on between them without thinking I was prying into their lives."

"You could pray for our lord to punish Bakugo for his wrath and lead him onto the right path," Shiozaki suggested.

"I'll…consider it," Lewis said uncomfortably with a sweat drop.

"From the sound of things, it looks like you're not going to get anything out of Bakugo," Tokage said before sipping her drink, "maybe if you ask Midoriya, he'll tell you. I'm sure he would want to patch things up with Bakugo as much as you do."

"I agree, there's no harm in trying," Kendo reassured, "besides, I'm sure they can work it out by themselves. You need to look out for yourself as well."

"I know," Lewis said giving an awkward smile, "I guess this is the first time people my age are talking to me. And now I have the chance of having friends; I guess I just don't want to lose them."

Lewis noticed their silence. He looked around to see all the girls were looking at him with blank faces. Lewis was confused until Tokage turned to Kendo.

"Seriously, where did you find the sweetest guy ever?" she asked.

She wasn't teasing.

Tokage was dead serious.

Before Kendo could answer an alarm rang out throughout the cafeteria.

'WARNING LEVEL 3 SECURITY BREACH. PLEASE EVACUATE THE BUILDING IN AN ORDERLY FASHION'

"Level 3 breach. What does that mean?" Reiko asked out loud as students started to rush out of the cafeteria.

"I don't know, but we need to get out here," Kendo said.

Abandoning their lunches, the group made their way through towards the emergency exit. However, the alarm had caused a panic as everybody rushed to the exit. It had caused a jam in the hallway as students scrambled over each other trying to get through.

Lewis had to pull Komori away before she was swept up in the sea of frantic students.

"Thanks, Fleetwood," Komori thanked Lewis, flushing at the close contact.

Lewis smiled briefly before observing the chaos.

'This is dangerous. Somebody's going to get hurt,' he thought in worry.

He could see Kirishima and Kaminari trying to calm the everybody, but it looked like the efforts were in vain.

He looked around trying to see if there was some sort of solution. That's when Lewis noticed Iida waving at him from the other side of the hallway. He was pressed against the window painfully by the other students, but Lewis could see he needed something.

Looking around, he saw that the other students were distracted and too busy with not getting crushed. He took a step back and disappeared.

Kendo noticed Lewis had step back, but when she looked, he had already gone. She assumed he had gone to get helped and turned her attention back on calming the crowd.

It was difficult for Lewis to reappear, but he somehow managed to perch himself on the windowsill next to Iida staying above the jam.

"Iida what's going on?" Lewis asked his fellow student.

Iida pointed out of the window, "It's the Press. They're the ones intruding. There's no need for any of this panic," he explained through greeted teeth.

Lewis turned around the best he could to look out the window. Sure enough, the reporters from this morning were on U.A property.

'How did they get in? I thought security was tight?' he briefly asked himself.

"Fleetwood," the voice of Iida knocked him out of his thoughts, "I need you to use your quirk and teleport the exit door. You need to calm the crowd down and explain the situation."

Lewis looked hesitant. That would mean being the centre of attention.

"I don't think…" Lewis tried to counter, but Iida cut him off.

"I know this is taking you out of your comfort zone, but this is necessary. Somebody can get seriously hurt," Iida shouted over the cries of the crowd.

Lewis looked over the crowd. He was right. He couldn't let his nerves get the best of him.

He took a deep shaky breath and disappeared.

He reappeared above the door and stood on the emergency exit sign, using the wall behind him to maintain his balance. He had the perfect view of everybody, and Lewis could see the carnage taking place.

Taking another deep breath, Lewis placed two fingers on each hand into his mouth and whistled loudly. He stopped once the roar of the crowd fell silent and people started moving to look at Lewis. Their eyes bore into him and he could feel everybody's gaze on him. His knees almost buckled, and a shiver ran down his spine.

However, Lewis had a responsibility. He can't give up now.

He pointed sharply to the window, "Everybody…" he coughed and tried again, "EVERYBODY PLEASE DO NOT PANIC! IF YOU LOOK TO YOUR LEFT, YOU CAN SEE THAT IT IS ONLY THE PRESS AND NOT A VILLAIN ATTACK!" he shouted at the crowd.

Some of the students, near the window, looked to see that Lewis was correct.

"HE'S RIGHT!" Iida called out, still pressed against the window, "WE ARE U.A STUDENTS. WE NEED TO START ACTING MORE DIGNIFIED IF WE WANT TO BECOME HEROES!"

At that, the crowd started to calm and people who have been knocked were helped up by others next to them.

"All right," Lewis said, not needing to be as loud as before, "can we have the people closest to the emergency exit start to move calmly out of the door. Please do not push and if you spot anybody knocked over help them all, thank you," he called down.

The students obeyed Lewis and soon the entire hallway is clear except for a couple of students.

Iida, Ochako and Midoriya, who were swept up in the rush, met up.

"Wow, that was a close one. I was almost crushed," Ochako said, relieved that she was out of there.

"Indeed, it was a good thing Fleetwood had a transportation quirk. Otherwise, I wouldn't know what to do," Iida added, also sighing in relief.

Midoriya just nodded, his mind was occupied. He saw how Iida had manage to convince Lewis to warn the students. He was able to persuade Lewis to do something he hated. He also really wanted to be class representative and would seem the type of person who would be good at it.

'Maybe he would make a better president than him,' he thought happily.

Meanwhile, down the hall, the class 1B girls were looking up at Lewis who was still on the emergency sign.

"Excellent work, Fleetwood," Kendo said up to him.

"Yeah, who knew you can whistle like that," Tokage added.

"Well done!" Tsunotori shouted cheerily.

Komori stared up at him in silent awe on her partially hidden face.

"It would seem Fleetwood is slowly coming out of his shell," Shiozaki said to Kendo.

"Yep, I think he's starting to get better," Kendo agreed looking up at Lewis.

After a couple of seconds, they noticed how he wasn't responding and how stiff he looked as he clung to the ceiling tightly.

That's when it dawned on them.

"He's passed out, isn't he," Kendo sighed.

"Yes," Kodai plainly said.

"How...he...holding...on" Tsunotori asked in confusion.

Reiko shrugged, "Maybe it's like rigor mortis, but an alive version."

"I think he may need a bit more work," Shiozaki suggested as she stared up at Lewis in concern.

Kendo hummed, "Reiko, do you mind getting him down."

Class 1A

After the Press were evacuated from school grounds, classes resumed. Midoriya and Momo stood at the front of the class; ready to give the notices.

"It's time class rep, let's begin," Momo encouraged a nervous Midoriya.

"Um okay, so we need to figure out who the other class officers will be," the green haired boy started, "but first there's something that I want to say," he declared surprising Momo.

"I've thought a lot about this and…" he took a deep breath, "I think Iida should be our class rep," Midoriya confidently said shocking the whole class, particularly Iida.

"Iida was able to give orders clearly and persuade others of the importance of being a hero," Midoriya explained confidently, "so I believe that he should be the one leading our class from now on."

Slowly, but surely the other students agreed as well. Iida could feel his pride swell and gratitude for Midoriya increase.

"This is a waste of time," Aizawa grumbled, "I don't care who the rep is, just hurry up," promptly returning to his nap.

Iida sharply stood up, "Since I'm nominated for this job then I humbly accept. I pledge to carry out the duties of class rep to the best of my abilities," Iida declared proudly.

As the rest of the class cheered for Midoriya smiled at the scene. He knew Iida would be the best person for the job and was happy for him.

"But I had two more votes than him," Momo grumbled, looking slightly depressed.

Lewis, who had recovered a while ago, couldn't agree more with Midoriya decision. He had nothing against Midoriya. Iida just seemed more able to take on the demanding roll of class rep. He was also slightly relieved he didn't have to do it.

"And as class president," Iida announced, "I would like to appoint Fleetwood as joint vice president along with Yaoyorozu," he declared, surprising the whole class and making Aizawa sigh in frustration.

"I hope that is alright with you, Yaoyorozu?" Iida asked Momo.

She smiled politely, "That's perfectly fine with me," she replied, unbothered with Iida's decision. In fact she looked happy at the decision.

"Great. Fleetwood, your also co-vice rep or whatever. Let's just get on with the day," Aizawa tiredly allowed.

The students took their seats and listened to what Aizawa was going to see.

Lewis, however, wasn't paying attention. He was still processing what just occurred. He thought he was hearing things, but no.

'Wait…what just happened?' he asked himself in confusion.

Phew! My longest chapter yet for this story. Hope you enjoyed it.

Anyway, a couple of things to say. I wasn't quite sure if the fight scene was too brief or not. I did re-read a couple of times and thought I add a couple more things. I'm sorry if anybody was expecting a longer battle, but I wanted to also write about the class rep elections and wasn't willing to go over 10,000 words on one chapter. It's decent length, right? Right?

In other news, there seems to be some conflict between Todoroki and Lewis. Lewis feels sympathetic for what she's going through and is trying his best to be her friend. Possibly because he knows what it's like to be lonely. But Todoroki just thinks he's just an annoyance and a distraction.

Also, Lewis met the Class 1B girls. I personally think my favourite are Ibara or Kiniko.

And finally, I've read many fanfics where the OC becomes class rep so I didn't want that for Lewis. So instead, I took an idea out of makotoxchelia's story 'The Villains Hero' and had a co-vice president system. That way Lewis will learn about responsibilities while Iida is still the president. The best of both worlds. I will explain the reason why Iida and Momo allowed Lewis to become the co-vice president in the next chapter.

That's all hope you enjoyed it :)

Next Time: Attack on the USJ

P.S: For those who are reading 'Fairy Tail's Night Terror', there's a notice on my profile about it.
