The rest of the day seemed uneventful as Rin hid in her room trying to avoid Dabi as best she could. Only leaving the room to get things like water and go to the bathroom. She could hear the tv going in the living room letting her know that was where he was. Or at least she assumed that was where he was. Rin sat on the bed cross legged forgetting the face she was in one of Dabi's shirts with nothing else under it. It also helped that Dabi had given her at least some privacy leaving her alone in the bedroom all day long. Rin was thinking over her predicament, had she truly made the best decision? She still assumed the answer was yes. The League had made it clear if she didn't help them they would just kill her. And at the end of the day she still feared death like most people. That reason alone was the only reason she didn't try to run for the door and escape. She also knew that if they killed her they would just look for someone else to fill whatever need they had for her. Which sounded like it was her medical background they needed.

They had done their homework and she was sure that the League was aware of her quirk and it's restrictions. They had to know her ability to manipulate atoms had its restrictions. Most quirks worked outside the realm of science. That's what had made them so scary in the beginning. But her quirk was the opposite, she was restricted to the laws of science. She couldn't make something out of nothing, she needed to know the chemical makeup of the materials she was using and what she wanted to create. It really limited what she could do beside simply changing the shape of an object. It also exhausted her body quickly if she used it too much or changed something really large.

But it also gave her freedom, she could make anything as long as she knew it's build and had the right supplies. Tools and weapons were easy to create. During her schooling she specialized in close combat, hand to hand being her best skills or using small blades. Her quirk wasn't the best at long range use unless she made a long range weapon. She did find it helpful in the medical setting of the Hosu hospital during her few short months there.

A slender finger was tapping her chin softly in thought, she still had no desire to be a trapped toy that the pyro could use at his own pleasure. But getting away from him wouldn't be easy, gaining some trust was the best thing she could do. But also if she gained the Leagues trust then she may be able to learn some information that would help the cops to put the criminals in jail. That would be a good idea to give her something to do while she was stuck in the damn apartment. But in order to surely meet the rest of the League she needed Dabi's trust, that meant befriending that infuriating man. She would rather try and suffocate him with a pillow in his sleep than be friendly with him.

She groaned to herself as she ran her right hand down her facing feeling her hand tug softly at her soft skin as she groaned. How the hell was she going to follow her little plan? Her only other hope was to sit here day in and day out and hope by some miracle that she meets one or more of the team and can earn their trust in a single probably five minute long meeting and get them to want to be her friends. She almost rolled her eyes at herself for that thought. No way would that be an option. She would probably try to kill Dabi which would result in him really killing her. No she had to stay alive for her plan to work, she also had no desire to die.

There were truly not a lot of options that she had, and if she wasn't careful Rin could find herself in trouble. Pissing Dabi off was the last thing she wanted to do, no should do. She liked the idea of getting under the man's skin but if she did he would probably just kill her once he was pissed off enough. So that meant she needed to swallow her pride and somehow try and get along with Dabi, or better even suck up to him and see if she can get into his good books. Just putting up with the man though is going to be hard enough.

Groaning for the hundredth time in probably the last hour she slipped herself off the end of the bed standing up and stretching softly. Her stomach was growling, demanding more food since she hadn't eaten since breakfast. It was now well into the late afternoon and her body was demanding more food. Sighing, she walked out of the small bedroom and made her way to the kitchen. Why she wasn't sure she already knew what it held and there really wasn't anything she could cook for dinner. She stood in the kitchen, her arms crossed over her chest as she tapped her foot as she glared at the bare and empty cupboards. How the hell did this man survive? He had almost nothing to eat in this kitchen. Irritated and rather hangry the woman finally stormed into the living room to find the man, still sporting what appeared to be the same outfit as the night before sprawled out over the couch. Hearing her approach she watched him pick his head up and peel his eyes off the tv to turn his attention to her.

"There you are little mouse, I was wondering how long you were going to hide for," that irritating smirk instantly pulled at his lips the second he saw her.

"How in the world do you survive in a house with no food in it?" she asked trying her hardest not to snarl at the man. Instantly seeing him just made her irritated and she was sure she could feel an eye twitch at that smirk and lazy look in his eyes.

"I order food," he answered as if it was a stupid question. And now the woman was envious the man could eat multiple fast food meals a day and wasn't a blimp of a human. Well that was not at all fair, now the redhead had another reason to hate the man, be it a bit of a petty one but still.

"Well then what's the plan for dinner then?" She asked as her arms crossed her chest and her foot started to tap against the floor as she watched him from across the living room not daring to get too close to him. She treated him like a cobra that would surely strike out at her if she dared to step to close. All she received from him was a mumble and a shrug of his shoulders. Geez what a great load of help that is.

"Well I'm hungry and have no money. If you're supposed to be caring for me you're not doing the best job," she growled as she watched him just laz on the couch not a care in the world it would seem.

"I'm just supposed to keep you around and in a mostly alive shape," he corrected her as if there was a true difference.

"Well I'm not allowed to leave, you have made that blatantly clear. So I can't even go get food even if I want to. You don't even have something like Instant ramen. I can count the amount of ingredients in your kitchen on one fucking hand," okay now she was getting irritated as she yelled at him by the end of her little rant.

"Okay okay calm down I'll order something," he said simply giving her a lazy wave of his wrist. Ugh she found the man so infuriating.

"I'd rather you have some groceries delivered so I could make myself food. But whatever," she mumbled giving up the conversation as it clearly wouldn't do anything other than piss her off more. Turning on her heel she huffed softly pouting a bit.

"Let me know when food gets here," she mumbled before heading back to her room to hide and sulk till she heard the doorbell ring. Seems Dabi at least did something right and ordered food. She was less pleased about the fact that she never had a chance to give him her desired food of her choice. Dragging her hungry ass out of the bedroom. She saved Dabi from the trip to her room. Though it seemed to be a good thing as the man had left her food on the counter and had already tossed himself down into a chair at his table starting on his own food. A styrofoam container sat on the counter, pulling the lid off she was surprised to be met with some fresh hot ramen. She was a bit surprised to see the ramen before she grabbed herself a bowl and poured her supper into the bowl before grabbing a pair of chopsticks. Dabi seemed lazy, eating his food straight from the take out container.

Rin was reluctantly glaring at the man as she turned to head to the table. Damn it she didn't want to sit anywhere close to the man. But she also wanted to sit down and eat her food. Dragging her feet over she sat down at the furthest chair from him. This action had him chuckle.

"What's so funny?" She asked before softly saying thanks for the meal and taking her food mouthfully, extremely happy with the delicious taste of the ramen noodles.

"Why you are my little mouse," Dabi said, smirking over at the girl from across the table as he enjoyed his meal.

"Glad to see I could offer some entertainment during your meal," she hissed at him glaring up from her own meal wishing she could just enjoy her dinner in peace. But she doubted Dabi would just let her eat her food. Her hiss had him chuckle deeply as he did indeed find her rather amusing. Maybe it was the fact she wasn't completely terrified of him, sure she kept her distance today but after how he had handled her the day before he expected her to run and avoid him. She also had not once seemed fazed or bothered by his looks, she didn't stare at his scars. She stood up to him and didn't hesitate to talk back. It was a nice chance for once to have someone around who wasn't insane but still stupid enough to risk talking back to him.

"Oh you're rather good entertainment my little mouse," he said simply knowing it would irritate her and it did as he watched her left eye. Oh yes he enjoyed watching her struggle not to yell at him or get upset in front of him.

She simply chose to stuff more food into her mouth as she dropped her eyes to the bowl of food in front of her trying to keep herself from doing something she would surely regret. Why is it even just looking at the man irritated her? That smug smirk, those brilliant blue eyes, the scars that made her curious, the piercings or where they actual medical staples? She tried desperately hard to not stare at them so she hadn't yet been able to tell the difference but they looked like medical style staples to her somewhat trained eyes. There was a dash of mystery with the man, she had questions and wanted to ask and yet they were surely highly personal questions. And she imagined he wouldn't answer if she asked, she also had no desire to get personal with her captive. She needed to gain some trust, yes but she didn't need to get personal.

Dabi finished his meal and sat back in his seat as he watched her staring, no glaring hard into her bowl of food as she slowly ate. It seemed almost for a moment she was able to completely ignore him. Dabi wondered if she was, or was she deep in thought? And clearly those thoughts were not great ones with how hard she was glaring at that food.

"Do you want your clothes back?" He suddenly asked breaking the silence to see if she was paying any sort of attention to him.

"Huh?" Came as the mumbled reply he received as she wiped her head up to look over at him a confused look crossed her face as she blinked her eyes before she seemed to replay his words that she had not been paying attention to.

"I said, do you want your clothes back?" He asked her repeating the question as his smirk grew wider as she glared at him.

"So you did take my clothes you fucking bastard," she growled at him as her eyes became slits as she glared at him, she felt her jaw tense up realizing that he had indeed stolen her clean clothes and was surely about to black mail her with them.

"Not my fault you left them in the washer, you're lucky I put them into the drier," he said simply as if he was some good guy who had done her some sort of favour. She didn't see it that way but it seemed it didn't matter about her feelings or how she clearly saw it.

"Oh yeah cause you completely did that out of the goodness of your heart, now where are my clothes?" She asked having now completely turned her attention away from her food and now was focused on the fact that she wanted her clothes back. She also didn't like the thought that Dabi had her bra and panties, she wasn't sure how bit of a pervert he was and that left her feeling uneasy.

"Now is that any way to ask for something you want?" He asked, smirking across the table at her as he leaned the chair he was sitting in back so that the front two legs had come off the ground.

Damn it! This was starting to sound like last night all over again. And she had no desire to beg, or try and negotiate for her clothes. She wasn't about to get within arms reach of the man, it was already bad enough she was still wearing his shirt and nothing more. And his shirt barely covered enough of her as it was, just rubbing salt in the wound.

"Go fuck yourself," she growled at him and that had him bark with laughter as it seemed that he found her response pretty funny and entertaining. This irritated her, cursing and lashing out at him verbally just seemed to please him and entertain him and that's what irritated her more.

"Mmm care to join me?" He asked grinning at her as the legs of the chair hit the floor and he leaned in towards her a little. This cyan eyes watching her closely to watch her reaction.

"Not in this lifetime," she growled at him even though she could feel her ears grow hot and red embarrassed by his teasing question. She knew he only did it because she reacted the way she did. But it was hard not to become either flustered or completely lash out. Fuck how the hell was she suppose to survive this time with this man? Embarrassed and fleeing from the annoying man Rin found herself retreating to the bedroom unable to completely finish her meal as her irritation was making her stomach do flips, or was it Dabi's teasing that made her stomach start doing flips? She wasn't sure and she didn't know if she wanted to know exactly why her stomach ached the way it was as she dragged herself to bed.
