Please tell me if you have any suggestions on something to add into this fanfic or any of my other fanfics. I'll try my best to update all three of the fanfics I'm currently working on at least once a week.

"Master, we've set up a blockade outside the planet, and the lockdown is currently being enforced by the Coruscant guard," Ahsoka said, looking down at her data pad.

When Anakin didn't respond, she looked up. Anakin was hunched over a hologram with his head down. "Master? What's wrong?"

"Do you think what Sam said was true? That I would join the dark side?" Anakin asked, not lifting his head.

"Of course not! He must have been confused, that's all," Ahsoka reasoned, trying to forget her misgivings and sound as confident as possible.

"But what if he was right?" Anakin pressed.

"You're the chosen one. He can't be right," Ahsoka reminded him.

Anakin sighed. "I've always worried that the council got that wrong. Maybe I'm not the chosen one." Just admitting that seemed to break his heart just as much as it hurt Ahsoka.

"Anakin, look at me," Ahsoka ordered. Anakin lifted his head slightly. "You have taught me so much. You've saved so many lives, time after time. I know you could never turn to the dark side. You can't believe that, Anakin. It's not true."

Anakin forced a smile. "When did you get so wise?"

"I'm who I am because of your training," Ahsoka replied earnestly.

Anakin finally stood up straight and looked at Ahsoka. "There's something I must tell you." Ahsoka tipped her head to the side as if saying, 'tell me'. "Padme and I are… Married."

Anakin whispered the word so quietly, Ahsoka wondered if she had imagined it. But she knew she hadn't, because she already knew. "I know."

Anakin looked at her in surprise. "Wha… H-how?"

Ahsoka let a small smile spread across her face. "You're not very subtle."

Anakin blushed slightly and looked down. "I guess we're not…"

They stood in silence for a while before Ahsoka finally said, "I'll always be here if you need to talk."

"The same goes for you," Anakin agreed, sounding a little more like himself once more.

"Don't forget, we do have an evil sith lord to track down," Ahsoka reminded him lightly.

"Yeah, no pressure!" Anakin snorted.

Ahsoka rolled her eyes. "Have you reported to the council yet?"

"Where else would I have been for six hours?" Anakin asked dryly.

"With Padme?" Ahsoka suggested, hoping to lighten Anakin's mood.

Anakin glared at her, though amusement twinkled in his eyes. "You can not tell anyone about that, or I'll… I'll…" Anakin sighed. "OK, that was kind of an empty threat, but I mean it!"

"I've kept your secret for this long; why would I reveal it now?" Ahsoka pointed out.

"Well, I had to make sure," Anakin defended himself.

"You worry too much," Ahsoka muttered.

"Shut up and check in on our… guests," Anakin ordered.

"Right. In all the chaos, I've completely forgotten about them," Ahsoka admitted.

"I don't blame you," Anakin said.

"Are you sure you don't need my assistance here?" Ahsoka checked; she didn't want to leave her master if he was still feeling upset.

"I'll be fine, Snips," Anakin assured her.

Ahsoka nodded, knowing that if he was calling her Snips, he was absolutely fine. She backed out of the room and made her way to the hanger bay where Sam and the others were. As she walked down the halls, she wondered how she'd been able to find her way around when she had first been brought to the temple. It was too long ago for Ahsoka to remember now, but she assumed she had just relied on the force to guide her feet to where she needed to be.

Ahsoka walked through the door leading to the hanger. To her surprise, she saw their guests and Fives sitting on the top of the ship. As she got closer, she could hear that they were gossiping about their own experiences. She couldn't hold back a smile as she heard Fives mention her and Anakin's 'unbreakable bond'.

"I see you're all getting along very well," she commented.

Fives saw her and scrambled to his feet and stood at attention, making Ahsoka chuckle slightly. "You don't need to salute to me, Fives," Ahsoka reminded him gently.

"Yes, Commander," Fives said, relaxing his position slightly.

"Is something wrong?" San asked, hopping off the ship.

Ahsoka shook her head. "We just wanted to make sure you're safe. Is there anything I can do for you?"

"I don't think so," Sam said, shaking his head regretfully. "We just woke up here, and we don't know how to get back to our reality."

"Your reality?" Ahsoka asked, raising an eyebrow. (A/N: I know she doesn't actually have eyebrows, but you know what I mean.)

"Err… Yeah," Sam said.

"What do you mean?" Ahsoka asked.

Sam exchanged a glance with Bucky then turned back to her and explained how he got here- and how he knew her name, which was the part that made Ahsoka most confused.

"So you… Avengers never knew we existed in real life? That someone made a 'movie' of us, and now you've entered this multiverse?" Ahsoka checked.

"Umm… Yeah, basically," Sam confirmed.

"What…" Ahsoka began, but didn't know what else to say.

After a moment of silence, Steve spoke up. "If you want, we can help you fight."

Ahsoka looked up in surprise. "Why would you want to do that?" she asked suspiciously.

"From what you've been saying, it sounds like innocents are in danger. I can't stand by and let them die," Steve said.

"Thank you," Ahsoka replied. Steve nodded to her and held out his hand as an invitation to join them on the top of the ship. Ahsoka smiled and called on the force, jumping over the Avengers' heads and landing lightly.

Steve smiled. "Fives told us you Jedi could do that."

Ahsoka smiled and asked, "how have you been? I know it must be boring here."

"It's not that bad, really. We've just been catching up on everything that has happened since we last saw each other," Sam said.

Ahsoka frowned. "I thought you all worked together."

"Sometimes we do, but other times, we'll just deal with a threat on our own," Bucky explained.

"Sounds like a lot of trouble for just one planet," Ahsoka commented.

"Well, there's other planets too. One of the first members of the Avengers is from another planet called Asgard," Steve said.

"What about him?" Ahsoka asked, pointing to Vision.

"Vision's also from Earth," Wanda told her, sounding slightly defensive.

"Is there anyone else from other planets?" Ahsoka asked, hoping that maybe one of them might come from a planet in her… reality.

"There's a group of weirdos that I met a while ago. Some of them weren't from Earth," Tony said.

"Where were they from?" Ahsoka asked.

Tony shrugged. "Not Earth."

Ahsoka repressed a frustrated sigh. "You said you and Steve were… dead? What did you mean by that?" Ahsoka asked.

"There was a lot that happened, but long story short, I'm a bit of a hero," Tony said. Ahsoka laughed a little at his hotheadedness.

"Commander Tano!" Ahsoka turned around at the sound of Rex's voice.

"What's wrong?" Ahsoka hopped off the ship.

"We've got special forces arriving soon," Rex told her.

"Who?" Ahsoka asked.

"They're enhanced clones. Experimental clone force 99. Their leader calls himself Hunter. Then there's Wrecker, Crosshair, and Tech," Rex recited.

"Clone force 99?" Ahsoka asked. "Master Skywalker said he worked with them once on Felucia."

Rex nodded. "I was with him."

Curiosity got the better of Ahsoka and she asked, "What was my Master like when he was younger?"

Rex let out a small chuckle. "Much less mature."

Ahsoka raised an eyebrow. "And you think he's mature now?"

"I never said that," Rex reminded her.

Ahsoka cocked her head. "Is it possible for him to be less mature than he is now?"

"Surprisingly, yes. But he's always been reckless," Rex added. "Don't get me wrong, he's a great General."

"I know what you mean. Sometimes it seems like he'll lose a battle if he doesn't do something reckless," Ahsoka said. Then she remembered why Rex had come to talk to her. "When are the special forces arriving?"

"In about an hour. This is the only hanger with enough room for their ship, but… they tend to crash-land their ship a lot. We might need to move this ship to the side so it doesn't get hit," Rex suggested, pointing to the Avenger's ship.

Ahsoka nodded. "Good idea. I'll let them know."

Ahsoka walked back to the ship and leaped onto the wing. "Rex says some special forces are arriving within the hour. This is the only hanger with enough space for them. They don't tend to have the most… impressive landings, so it might be best if you move your ship to the side of the hanger," she explained.

"I'll take care of that," Wanda said, motioning to the other Avengers to get off the ship. Once they were all on the ground, Wanda's eyes began to glow and she lifted herself into the air. Ahsoka couldn't help gaping in surprise and amazement as the ship was surrounded in red and lifted a few feet from the ground, then moved to the edge of the hanger and set down gently.

"Wow," Rex breathed.

"Yeah," Ahsoka agreed.

Ahsoka looked down at her wrist when her comlink started beeping. She pressed it and asked, "is something wrong?"

"Commander, we're receiving a transmission from someone who calls themselves the 'Bad Batch'. They want to land in hanger C-29, but they're not scheduled to arrive for forty-five more minutes." Ahsoka recognized Admiral Yularen's voice over the comms.

Ahsoka shot Rex a questioning look. "They tend not to arrive on schedule," Rex explained.

Ahsoka nodded and said, "let them through."

"Right away, commander."

Ahsoka hung up and looked around at the Avengers. "I need everyone to get to the side of the hanger, now. Rex, Open the hangar doors, quickly. We have a ship coming in any minute now."

While everyone followed her commands, Ahsoka hurried to the middle of the hanger where there was a cluster of crates and pushed them aside before joining the others. A moment after she had reached Rex, she saw a ship approaching at high speed. She winced as it crashed into the hanger and skidded across the floor.

A moment later, a thin ramp slid down and four clones walked out. As they got closer, Ahsoka realized they didn't look like clones at all. They all had much different facial features from the 501st and the other clone battalions.

"Unless you're going to stay in the corner all day, we can start to figure out what to do with the sith lord," the clone in front said. His voice also sounded nothing like any clone Ahsoka knew.

"Of course," Ahsoka said, stepping out from the shadows to greet them. "My name is Ahsoka Tano. Thank you for coming."

"I'm Hunter. This is Wrecker, Tech and Crosshair," the first clone introduced himself. "Don't ask Tech about anything unless you want to know every detail."

The clone named Tech took a step forward and said, "actually, I never told you every detail about Wookiees when you asked me about them yesterday. That would have taken too long. For example, once every hundred years, a Wookiee will be born who is force sensitive. Also, some Wookiees can live to 400 or 500 years old, but they are technically considered to be adults when-"

"That's enough, Tech. We need to focus on the mission at hand," Hunter cut him off. Tech looked annoyed at being interrupted, though he didn't say anything.

Hunter turned back to Ahsoka. "What exactly is our objective?"

"Track down Chancellor Palpatine. General Skywalker will give you your specific jobs," Ahsoka informed them.

"Does it involve blowing something up?" Wrecker asked eagerly.

"Don't worry, you'll see action soon enough- though, Tech, we might need you here rather than on the battlefront," Ahsoka said.

"We prefer to stick together," Hunter told her.

"I'll see what I can do," Ahsoka promised, though inwardly she doubted that she'd be able to fix their problem.

"Commander, General Skywalker wants to see you," Rex told her.

"Thanks," Ahsoka said. Then she turned to the Bad Batch. "I have to leave. Rex, would you mind filling them in on their mission?"

"Yes sir," Rex said.

Ahsoka nodded to him and ran to the exit of the hangar. The door slid open as she neared, and Ahsoka was able to find her master in an empty briefing room. "You wanted to see me, Master?"

"The Council has assigned a mission to us. They want us to bring the Avengers so they don't get caught up in the chaos on Coruscant," Anakin told her.

"Where are we going?" Ahsoka asked.

"Master Plo Koon just returned from a routine check in Wild Space and found something suspicious. According to the oldest information I could find in the library, it's a planet-like place called Mortis," Anakin said. "They want us to check it for sith, droids… anything. Should be easy."

Ahsoka looked uncertainly at the hologram Anakin had pulled up. It looked nothing like a planet. More like… a red diamond floating in space.

"That doesn't look good," she commented.

"Relax. We'll be back in a few days," Anakin stated confidently.

Anakin walked out of the room, motioning with his hand for Ahsoka to follow. Ahsoka cast one last glance at the hologram before following her master into the hall. She couldn't shake the feeling that something- or someone- was waiting for them there. They might not ever come back.
