Chapter 6
Tommy spoke to Kat when he next saw her to let her down lightly, she wasn't very happy with him.
"He really needs to get over Kim she told him she moved on and so should he" said Adam to the group at lunch
"Really, Adam have you forgot that Kim and Tommy were perfect together they were soul mates, he cant forget that" Rocky said in disgust.
"She left him" Billy piped up
"Jase back me up here dude" Rocky said looking at Jason.
Jason shot a look at disgust at the word dude, "All I'm saying she had her reason. And let Tommy be Tommy he will decide what is next for him. Not us pushing him, Adam." Jason pointed at Adam.
"But he needs to be happy and Kat would be good.."
"No stop, Adam just because you want to be in the good books with Tanya so your siding with them doesn't mean Tommy should follow your advice. We should have answered Kim we should have gone and asked why. Tommy and Kim belong together after the Pan Pacific we need to get her back her so they can get back together" Rocky finished
"Hi Guys" the girls turned up and the conversation changed.
The next month the Power Rangers fought again Mondo's monsters with the help of the Purple Ranger but every time they went to speak to the stranger he disappeared.
Back at the Command Centre
"Damn it Billy can we find anything out about the Purple Ranger?" Jason asked
"Sorry everyone the Purple Ranger seems to have some sort of shield so we cannot detected anything. We can't even find a wave length to teleport them here or communicate"
"Damn lest they are on our side but it would be nice to be able to thank you for their help" Rocky pouted
"RANGERS WE WILL KEEP SEARCHING A WAY TO CONNECT WITH THE PURPLE RANGER" Zordon replied
"Look they obviously don't want to be found let them do their job and if we ever get to say thanks then we say it" Tommy said and teleported out.
Tommy just walked into the house when he heard his mum on the phone
"Yes Kim we will still be coming to the Games … Why aren't your parents going that is disgusting .. I'm not sure will need to ask ….Honey you just keep going with your training and we will see you soon …Love you Kim"
Melissa turned around and saw Tommy looking at her
"Mum its okay I'm glad your still talking to her, she really doesn't have a proper family"
"Tommy I'm glad that you are not angry at me I think of her as another daughter. Kim sent you a ticket ages a go to see her compete are you wanting to go"
"Mum as much as I want to go and support, she broke up with me and I don't think it will be right and if her boyfriend is there it will be to awkward"
"Oh Tommy I won't interfere with your decision just let us know 24 hours before we travel"
"Thanks mum, I will let you know" and with that Tommy ran upstairs
'I do hope he comes, he will regret it ever wise' Melissa thought to herself
The next month went quickly for the Rangers they kept fighting King Mondo's cogs and monsters, every so often the purple ranger would appear but it became less and less towards the end and soon the Rangers had completely destroyed Mondo and his family.
Kim towards the end was getting to tired between her pregnancy, training and fighting. Melissa had decide to fly quickly over to Kim to check on her when she knew the Rangers had defeated the enemy, when she got to the compound she found Kim unconscious on the floor with the coach hovering over barking orders, Melissa ran in and the coach moved over knowing Melissa was a doctor.
"What happen?" she asked the coach
"She was saying she was tired then all of sudden she just collapsed, she has been working very hard lately, we have called an ambulance for her"
"Ill go with her" Melissa replied and the coach nodded
Kim woke up the next day in the Hospital, "Where am I" she asked
"Oh hun you were so tired for passed out" Melissa replied
"Is the baby okay" Kim frantically asked putting her hand on her none existent belly.
"Yes" Melissa said quietly moving from her chair to the bed, "As they wont let me be the doctor over you I brought my stethoscope and I check the heart beat of the baby whilst nobody was around and the baby is fine. The doctor on call has told me that you are exhausted and that's why you collapsed"
"Between training, the baby and Rangering I'm exhausted Mum. I got to the point that I had to stop being a ranger as I need rest. But I could feel the baby pulling me to fight but not as hard as normal, Im guessing it could feel my tiredness"
"Oh Kim, as you said the baby at one stage or another will be a ranger in the future. But you did the right thing you need to look after yourself and this child inside."
"Am I going to be able to compete in 2 weeks' time?" Kim asked
The Doctor came in and replied, "Yes if we give another day of rest and you take it easy, yes I have spoken to your coach and he said he can lighten your load so you will be your best for the competition"
"Thank you doctor" Kim and Melissa said
"No worries I am going to keep the IV in till this afternoon, but you need to sleep in the meantime I will come back shortly"
Melissa smiled at Kim, "Yes sweetheart sleep I will be here"
