"Hey Mister Sark. Why does your house smell like cooked meat?" Samantha asks as she Passes Evan a Wrench.
"Your guess is as good as mine. I think a Zombie got stuck somewhere whilst burning to death. Rotten meat can still smell good when cooked or burned." Evan bullshits.
"Alright that should be it. The power shouldn't overload now." He adds as he rolls from under his Mercedes. He Got up showing his face was Now covered by a stretchable fabric mask with Holes for the eyes and mouth. The Eyes covered by small glass lenses that connects to his plague doctor's mask. His hair free and able to stick out from the tougher bands on his head.
"What do you mean by overload?" Samantha asks. "Think of a glass of water being filled. If its empty then you won't have any water to run on. That's how my car works in a sense. it needs power to run. But theirs only so much water a glass can hold. Anymore and the water will leak out. If power is overloading then that can lead to some bad news. Like maybe my car will explode. So its always a worry when you start to overload." Evan explains.
"Oh. That's so weird." Samantha says. Evan couldn't help but chuckle. "Yeah in a way it is. But that's how the basic laws of physics works. And how electricity works as well." Evan says.
"But what about that lightning dragon? How can that use electricity?" Samantha asks. "I'm not exactly sure. I'm betting its magic though." Evan remarks as he Puts his Plague doctor mask on. "Now. I'll be off for a good while. Yami found a ruined Nether Portal and I plan to investigate it. So go ahead and head home." Evan says.
"A what? Samantha asks. "Oh don't worry about it. I'll see you soon." Evan says as he threw on his cloak. "Please be careful out there." Samantha says. "I will. Want me to drop you off?" Evan asks whilst entering the car. "I'm good. I can make it to the village fine." Samantha says.
"Alright then. Come on Yami!" Evan says. Yami caws and Flew straight in the window to perch on the passenger seat.
"Will you bring me something cool?" Samantha asks. Evan chuckles and ruffles her hair. "Maybe. We'll see." He says before starting the car and backing up. He Turns to the side and Drove forward to the west.
"Come back safe Mister Sark!" Samantha shouts as she waves with both hands. Evan waves out the window as he Let's Yami point the way.
(Later)
"So is this it?" Evan asks. "Yep. Its the one I was talking about." Yami says as he Perch's on the ruined Nether portal.
The Ruined nether portal was Just one half of the frame that hung on Rusty chains as the obsidian portal frame was crumbled away. Or converted into crying obsidian.
Netherrack and Bits of Magma were surrounding the ruined nether portal with a single chest. all in a Pool of lava.
"So what should we do now?" Yami asks. Evan put his hand to his chin to think. "Let's try fixing it first. And to do that we need some obsidian." Evan says. He Grabbed a Bucket he made and When he lifted it it was suddenly filled with water. He Poured it onto the Lava and Like in Minecraft the water turned into obsidian. He Set it to the side to Switch his Hand for a drill headed hand. The tip fitted with a diamond. "Thank god we got that diamond. He remarks as he landed on the obsidian to begin drilling.
An hour passed and Evan had set the last Obsidian block into the now fixed frame. The crying obsidian was only little chunks that were unable to be formed into blocks. And the chains were immediately cleaned of rust when mined and placed back. The stone brick arch was Replaced by Nether brick that Evan made from the cooked netherrack. With Magma bricks added in for lighting and Carved obsidian to add details. The Rest of the lava was converted into obsidian or collected in a tank Evan made. (Made from obsidian and glass)
Evan Switched his hand back for his Combat hand. Modified to just have the thumb blade and Gun attachment. As he had to remove the Hidden blade for some new features. His Middle finger opened the tip to let an ignited Nitor to come out. He lowered it to the Portal and let the flames catch onto the portal. Igniting it and Filling the frame with a purple mist.
And then the mist began to show a Hazy image of the Nether itself. A View of the warped forest. Evan Grabbed a Thin mask cover for his regular mask and put it over his mask. Making its colors inverted and mostly gold.
He then grabbed a tiny collar and set it onto Yami. The gold nametag saying Yami. "There. That should do." Evan remarks.
"What are we going to be doing anyway?" Yami asks as Evan Steps to the portal. They then head through and emerge into the warped forest.
"Well I was hoping to begin trading with the Piglins. Mine up some gold and Maybe find some ancient debris. Since its what makes up netherite I wanna see what the stuff can do." Evan says.
"Along with that I wanna collect some Drops from the mobs and make a brewing stand to make potions with. Since this world is pretty weird I wanna research what I can." Evan says.
"You just wanna be a real plague doctor for the looks don't you?" Yami says. "Shut up!" Evan yells.
"Thank you for your time Mr Piggen." Evan bows in thanks. "No probwem Evhan." Piggen says as he hauls the Cart of Gold away. Evan looked at the materials he gained and grabbed the Bag he Held. He watched as they entered the bag as binary without effort. "God that is weird. But cool as hell." Evan comments. The bag itself was a Legendary Bag from the RPG backpacks mod. He got it from a chest he looted. Which reminded him he was trying to balance the loot tables before.
He Looked at the screen in front of him and checked the items he got. "Let's see. Spectral arrows, Netherwarts, Soul lanterns, Enderpearls, Some awkward potions, Netherrack and bricks, Ooh a few blaze rods. Some jewelry? Hmm. Interesting." Evan says as he sets it on his belt to look through later.
He Exited the Bastion from the main entrance and Walked out with a Happy smile.
"So what's next?" Yami asks. "I'm not sure. This Legendary bag has been barely filled so I'm not sure." Evan says.
"Wanna start mining?" Yami asks. "Why the hell not?" Evan asks as He heads to a Wall of Netherrack. He switches his hand for the drill hand and Began to Tunnel through the Netherrack.
Evan couldn't help but smile to himself as he mined away. "Heh, Feels like I'm on a playthrough series." He comments. "Yeah it seems so." Yami chuckles.
(Later)
"Holy crap I'm exhausted." Evan complains as he Sat against the wall. "How long were we mining for?" Yami says. "More like I was mining you stupid bird." Evan snarks. "Screw you." Yami says. He did look exhausted. "Hey you okay?" Evan asks. "Yeah. I guess the heat is just getting to me." Yami says.
"Oh. Let's head home then. This heat is getting to me as well." Evan says as he Gets up. "Yeah." Yami says as Evan grabs him.
He was about to leave when Something missed him and Splattered against the wall. He Looked Back to see a crimson mosquito Flying towards him. The liquid in its thorax was a bright blue and Before Evan could react the crimson mosquito had pierced His shoulder. He screamed in pain and Used his mechanical hand to crush its head. As he did he hit a nerve in the Crimson Mosquito's brain that made it spit out the blood and inject it straight into Evan's body.
He yells as his entire body began to glow a bright blue and drops his cane and Yami to clutch his head. He couldn't help but yell in pain. The LED Eyes lighting up in the shape of triangles with an exclamation point and then glitching out with the phrase ERR flashing on screen. He soon blacked out from the pain.
