Violet found her favourite sweater under the bed. She had been searching her room for it, to no avail. As someone who took care of her clothes, hanging them up and never leaving them draped over the backs of chairs, she could only imagine one scenario for how this could have happened.
Violet Something has to be done about Lena's messiness.
Huey I thought you were trying that thing from the book?
Violet I attempted plans laid out in both the history book and the novel you recommended. I feel let down by the printed word.
Huey They helped me with Dewey and Louie.
Violet I fear more drastic measures may be required.
Huey Remember what happened the last time you said that?
Violet I have learnt from past mistakes. It's time to fight mess with magic.
Huey I refuse to be an accomplice to whatever you are planning. My advice is to talk to Lena.
Violet So far that has failed, but I have a new plan :)
2 days later -
Huey Hi, you missed the Woodchuck meeting. Is everything okay?
Violet I am grounded for misuse of magic. My sentence should be over by the next meeting, as long as the effects of the magic have worn off.
Huey What did you do?
Violet I created a spell so that nothing could remain out of place. Unfortunately I failed to limit the range of the spell and it spread throughout the house. We cannot remove food from cupboards and have to change into clothes quickly once we remove them otherwise they will re-fold or re-hang themselves. My dads were very upset. I should have asked Webby to help me. I will know to do so next time.
Huey I'm not sure that's the lesson you needed to learn.
Violet We can debate that once I'm no longer grounded.
