Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Cybernetic Companions. Enjoy the 1000-word chapter. I don't own Naruto, Masashi Kishimoto and a few others do.

Amado departed with Code, Boro, and Jigen. Jigen knew Delta would come when requested. Her sadism was something that had to and would be kept in check if he could.

"I'm going to kill you when I can feel my legs again." Genki stated to Delta who had barely moved.

Her fingers were still gripped around his forehead. Delta turned to look at the cyborg and hummed.

"If you were smart, you wouldn't push your luck so much." Delta put in and finally removed her hand from Genki's forehead. "I'm surprised Amado put so much work into something like you." Delta added and hummed.

Genki continued to try and strain himself to stand, but his legs refused to move. Delta moved her hand under his chin as Genki growled.

Delta begun to examine Genki. She could see a VIII on his neck which was painted dark blue. She could also see clearly that metal rods ran just below the skin of his arms. Delta guessed that they functioned similarly to her eyes.

Genki scowled at Delta who noticed that Genki had spider like veins coming from his cheeks to his arms. Delta then noticed that there was an orange object implanted where his heart was.

'Amado modified him far more than me… Seems that damn scientists were planning to use him. Heh, sorry old man. Your little toy belongs to me now. I'm not going to let anyone take that power they promised me away.' Delta thought to herself before gently pushing Genki's face away from her.

"Seems Amado made you Kara's pet project…" Delta said while Genki rolled his eyes. "Tell me, what did he tell you?" Delta questioned as she straightened up and brushed off her nailed hands.

"What makes you think I'd have any desire to tell you that at all?" Genki questioned and managed to push himself somewhat to a standing position. He couldn't feel his legs.

Delta's lips curled into a sadistic smirk as she pondered how best to make Genki tell her.

Genki mentally cursed at not having control over his legs. He watched the Kara Inner glare at him. He didn't fear the prospect of her killing him. He was smart enough to realize that she wanted him alive. If the woman wanted to kill him so badly? Then she would have killed him and been done with it.

"Because if you don't?" Delta questioned while looking Genki straight in the eye. "Then I start figuring out how much you can regenerate from." Delta stated with a sadistic grin.

Genki recoiled in fear of Delta. The cyborg said nothing and approached Genki once more.

"I'm not going to work for you!" Genki hissed which caused Delta to cross her arms.

"Do you know those beams I fired from my eyes?" Delta questioned which Genki nodded. "They negate healing factors…. Any healing factors. Meaning even you can be killed by them if I feel like it. Right now, you acting like you matter is amusing more than anything else. Don't make me regret keeping you alive." Delta stated which made him look to the side. Genki squeezed his eyes shut and cursed. He looked at Delta who hadn't said a word. She had only crossed her arms.

'This woman has to have some weakness.' Genki mentally thought while he sighed. 'Hmm… I need to try and find it.' Genki added mentally.

"Hey!" Delta yelled and kicked at Genki which made him flip backwards. He looked at Delta who's foot had gone through the stone under him.

Delta sighed and grunted while the man glared at her which made her hum. She brushed off her foot and looked to Genki could only wonder what this girl wanted. She was a monster wearing human skin. He could only bide his time and wait for the moment when he could strike back at her.

"Do you want me to hurt you again?" Delta questioned which caused Genki to frown as he hummed.

He said nothing and simply looked to Delta who still had the confident look on her face.

"I guess I'll serve under you for now…" Genki muttered to Delta who snickered to herself. "But don't act like it will stick for long." Genki muttered as he crossed his arms.

He knew very well that if he couldn't defeat Delta at the moment? Then she was currently far outside his skill level and he'd have to keep climbing that ladder to be inside the realm of defeating her.

Then again? He'd rather enjoy the idea of defeating her sooner or later. Delta was not a normal shinobi which he knew very well now.

But neither was he from what he felt, and if he was not some mild lacky…. He looked at Delta who smirked confident in her own abilities.

That confidence would be her downfall, he knew it. He just needed an angle to attack her from it.

However? He knew that Delta would keep her guard up when it came down to it.

'There is going to be over anytime soon.' Genki thought as he sighed and rubbed at his arms.

There would be time for petty revenge later. For now? He'd settle simply for dealing with the plans of this group.

"This is going to be crazy when it comes down to it." Genki said and sighed as he rubbed at his arms while shaking his arms and such.

He knew for a fact that this would be interesting.

Phew, another chapter done! I want to apologize for the chapter being short, next chapter will be 1200 words or so and will show some talk and a training fight or so. Until 2-3 months and in June. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!

P.S: Tsunade, and Delta will be 1200 words. Sarada, Sakura and such will be 900 words or such sooner or later.
