Chapter Seven will be up by the end of the week hopefully! Super excited for some brief introductions made in this chapter. Let me know what y'all think. This chapter is going to be super important for how things play out soon as we begin moving into the phase two movies.
Chapter 6
Liz winced as pain shot through her shoulders, and cold air graced her skin. She opened her eyes, finding her body naked. She had a bandage on her thigh just above her knee. She glanced under it, finding a bloody mess and stitches. There was a similar one on her shoulder. Liz felt the pain through her whole body. She glanced around the room. She was in a room. Everything was made of concrete. There was no bed or chair. Just concrete, and a metal door with fluorescent lighting. Liz had no idea where she was or what time it was.
Liz tried to get to her feet but her leg collapsed under her. "Shit," she mumbled under her breath, "alright Liz think." Even with her enhanced strength, she knew she couldn't break out and take on whatever was outside of this room. Liz pushed herself to the back wall, her eyes fixed on the door. If she could get a feel for the amount of people and where she was maybe she could break out as her injuries began to heal, but that would take time, and Liz wasn't sure how much of that she had.
She sighed leaning her head back against the wall. A shiver went down her spine, as her back touched the cool cement. She pulled her knees into her chest, trying to keep her naked body as warm as possible. Her thoughts drifted back to Captain Rogers. She wondered what happened to him, if he was here. A tear slid down her cheek, as she thought about what happened to Steve. If these people didn't know about her powers, and she got shot twice she could only imagine what they were doing to him.
Liz heard a creaking noise, and she jumped to her feet. She knew that she was vulnerable, but she wasn't going to look it. She dropped her arms, to her side and let her legs stand shoulder width apart, not covering her body. The door opened, and a man with a dark coat and a monocle entered the room, followed by a man with long messy dark hair, and a metal arm. Liz kept her eye on the man with the metal arm. He had a mask covering his mouth and nose so the only thing you could see was his eyes. They were cold… lifeless.
"Hello Miss Stark," The man with the monocle said.
Liz stood her ground, staring at the man, "Who are you?"
The man gave a quiet laugh, "Let's just say, I am a friend of someone you used to be very close with." Liz's brows furrowed as the man spoke to her. "I believe you knew him as Obidiah Stane?"
Liz inhaled sharply, "What do you mean?"
The man's lips curled upwards, "Miss Stark, around here, you have a reputation. You see my friend here?" He gestured to the man with the metal arm, "He's like you. Mr. Stane came to us many years ago after Howard Stark told him about your mothers pregnancy." He had a soft accent that sounded almost german.
Liz clenched her jaw, her back teeth beginning to grind. She knew she had to do something, she had to get out. Her eyes went back to the man with the metal arm. This wasn't going to be easy but staying here, wherever here was wasn't an option. She needed to get out and find Steve. Liz looked back towards monocle man, onse swift kick to the chest and he'd be in the concrete wall. Liz inhaled, trying to keep her pulse steady, as she prepared herself for what was about to happen. The man continued to talk, and as he did Liz took one final deep breath.
She lunged forward, kicking the man straight in the chest. He was thrown towards the wall near the door. She jumped back as the man with the metal arm came towards her. She threw a punch that he caught with the metal arm. She tried to back up and kick the man, but his metal arm came to her throat, pushing her against the opposite wall, dragging her body up against the wall, the air left her lungs.
"Soldier," Monocle Man said, "Bring her to the extraction room."

Steve grasped his stomach, coughing as he ran. All he could think about was getting to Liz. Something wasn't right with what had happened- the way they grabbed her and not him, the way the snippers and gunshots were only a distraction. He pushed the door to the tower trying to catch his breath and straighten his posture with no avail. "Jarvis, get everyone in Banners lab now."
"Yes Captain Rogers. Shall I inform Doctor Banner you will be needing medical attention as well?" Jarvis asked as Steve entered the elevator.
"Yes," Steve groaned.
The doors opened to the lab where he saw Tony and Bruce. They both looked up, concern and shock passing their faces.
"Shit Cap, what the hell happened?" Tony asked as Steve draped and arm around Bruce making his way to the table.
Steve sat down on the table, removing his blood soaked shirt, "Where are Barton and Romanoff?"
"Not sure," Tony said. As he was speaking the two agents walked into the lab.
"Stark why- holy shit," Clints jaw dropped seeing Steves injury.
Natasha walked over to him, looking at Bruce, "What happened?"
Bruce began cleaning Steve's wound, as Steve winced slightly, "I'm not sure. ELizabeth and I were-"
"Wait Liz was with you?!" Tonys voice raised, "Where is she? Jarvis, get Liz down here now!"
"Mr. Stark I'm afraid she is not in the tower at the moment." Jarvis informed, hesitation in his voice.
"Rogers what the hell happened to her?!"
Natasha jumped in front of Tony, "Tony, take a deep breath. This isn't his fault. Once Steve tells us what happens, we can come up with a plan to get her okay?"
Tony exhaled, a scowl still on his face as he looked at Steve., "Alright Rogers." Natasha kept slightly in front of Tony, separating him from the super soldier.
'We were on a run, next thing we knew gunshots were going off, there were two snipers across from the park. I told her to run. She got hit twice. When I tried to get to her, I got hit and she was taken by someone."
"Jarvis," Tony called.
"Yes Mr Stark?"
"Pull up all the surveillance footage from the area, I want it all. I want you tracking all her electronics too."
"Yes sir," The AI said.
"Tony," Steve looked at the billionaire "We'll find her."
