She walks over to your clothes, the ones you came in, which have now been washed, picking them up she looks them over.

"Seen as you're staying with me, would you like to have a dress made up. I mean just for when you're here, that is. Like I said you're free to come and go as you wish, I will not keep you held captive."

You can't help but give a nervous smile. When would be the right time to go back down to the village without seeming so rude?

"Now," she says as she walks over to your bed, her large gloved hands taking hold of your nightdress. "Would you prefer to take your breakfast in bed or join us?"

You turn away from her, wondering what she meant by 'join us'? Who were the others that would be joining for breakfast. And as if she could read your mind, your mother decided to explain.

"I know this will be hard to take in, but I already have three daughters." She explained while lowering your nightdress a little to look the blood stained bandages over.

She already had three daughters? Then what was the point of you coming here to see her?

"I, um, I was wondering if I could go back to the village." You say as you look at her.

"Oh, so soon?" she ponders.

"No, sorry." You now sigh. "I was just a little taken aback by you saying you already have three daughters."

"Ah, yes. Well, you see..." she now takes a seat on the bed to look at you. "They were technically not intentional and they're not blood related to me as you are. Hmm, how do I explain all this?" she now sighs. "One day I shall tell you everything, but for now I will explain just what we are."

You couldn't bear to look at her, for fear of her saying you were born from some kind of monster, though she looked human, she was twice the size of any normal human.

"We have Mother Miranda to thank for what she's made of us," she now explained. "I wasn't in the best of health in my younger years, but Mother Miranda took pity on me, and basically made me the woman I am today. I admit the strain took a different turn with me to my other 'family members' and for that I am grateful."

There seemed to be a little scorn at the mention of family members.

"So we're not the only ones like this?" you ask.

"No, my dear. Mother Miranda had the heads of all four houses subject to the same strain. As I said it worked differently on us all. Heisenberg for one may look normal, but he's just like the rest of us, the damn fool."

"I take it you don't like the others that much then?"

She shook her head. "I really despise being a part of 'the family', but it's Mother Miranda's wish. Now my dear, will you dine alone or with us?"

You look down at your lap, giving it some thought. 'I will have to meet them one day,' you can't help but think to yourself. "I will join you," you look up, giving a nervous smile.

"Delightful, I'm sure the girls will be happy to meet with you." She smiles as she stands.

"Um, are the girls like you and I?" you ask as you climb from the bed.

"About that," she now goes into it while taking up your dress. "They can be a little, well apart from them being different. They have different tendencies and can be a little unstable, especially Daniela my youngest."

"Oh," you say as you drop your nightdress to the floor.

Your mother looks to your shoulder properly now, she starts to unravel it to see the skin is healing slowly.

"I'll get you a fresh bandage," she says as she heads for the door. "Anya, bring a bandage to me quickly."

"Yes, my lady."

While she's distracted you quickly cover your body with a blanket, to which Alcina smiles at.

"Are you quite nervous?" she asks.

You nod as she sits on the bed again, leaving you to stand to look out the window.

"If you wish to go back to the village after breakfast, then by all means..."

"N-No, I couldn't possibly leave already. It wouldn't be right for me to come and go. I mean I did come here to find out the truth and now I have, I would like to get to know you more."

"I appreciate you saying that, my dear. And it warms my heart that you and I can start to bond as mother and daughter should."

You smile as you sit next to her, her arm now draping over yours to pull you close to her. A knock at the door has her looking up.

"Enter," she calls out.

The door opens and in stepped the maid. "The bandage you asked for, my lady."

"Ah, thank you."

The woman nodded, now turning to head back out again.

"Now let's get you bandaged up again," Alcina smiles at you.

Once she was finished, she passed you your dress and awaited you to follow her out. You couldn't help but feel rather nervous.

"Don't be startled by my daughters ability to transform into a swarm of flies either."

"Flies?" you can't help but ask.

"Yes, it was due to their mutation."

"I see," you nod, thankful to her for telling you all this.

The sound of laughter is soon heard and you gasp slightly when a swarm of flies passes by you just as Alcina opens the double doors to bend underneath to pass through.

"I smell blood," the swarm says before materialising to join the other two sat at the table. "Fresh blood."

"Settle down, Daniela." Alcina warns her lightly. "Now before we eat, I would just like to introduce you to someone dear to me of whom I lost."

The three had her upmost attention now.

"This is (Y/N), though her family named her Luna. She doesn't mind either name, do you?"

You shake your head at her.

"Luna," Daniela giggled as her sisters looked on.

"What's so special about her?" Cassandra questions.

Alcina looks down on you, knowing a war may start to break out after she announces who you are.

"She's my biological daughter," Alcina now turned back to them.

They all looked on in the most upmost of horror.

"But I thought we were your daughters?" Daniela pouted. "Does that mean you don't love us anymore?"

"Why has your biological daughter just come along now?" Bela asked.

"Yes, mother, why didn't you tell us of her?" Cassandra frowned.

Alcina sighed heavily, she was then ready to open her mouth as to speak, but you spoke for her.

"She didn't think I was still alive that's why. It's hard for her to say that she had a child, but lost her. Think of her," you tell them.

Bela frowned, stood and headed on out. Cassandra also following her lead. Daniela looked between you and her mother before following on after her sisters.

"I knew it wouldn't be easy," she frowned as she sat herself down. "They don't understand just how hard it is for me to see my own child standing in front of me now, actually in the flesh after thinking you were lost to me."

"Well, given time I'm sure they'll come to see." You reassured her.

"They're good girls, obedient to me in every way and I didn't tell them."

"It was for the best not to, just in case. I don't want them to think I'm going to be the favourite, I would like to get on with them. I want you to treat me the same as them."

"I wouldn't have it any other way, my dear."

"Thank you, mother." You smile.

"No, thank you for returning to me. You're my lost moon, reunited with me once more."

You both turned as the doors opened, the maids walking in with plates to set upon the table.

"My lady," one bowed her head while setting the Lady's plate down.

"Miss," another added, setting your plate down.

The others were a little worried about what they would do with the daughters meals, but decided to set them down just in case.

"They won't be joining us for breakfast, so you may as well take them back to the kitchen." Alcina ordered the maids just as the doors opened again and in the three stepped.

"We're hungry," Cassandra glared as she sat down.

The three sat in silence as Alcina made light conversation with you.

"What meat is this?" you now ask while chewing it.

"Hmm?" Alcina muses.

"It tastes differently to what I normally eat," you tell her.

The three look on, wondering why it mattered.

"Fresh meat," Alcina simply told you, not going into detail with the maids still there.

"What animal?" you now ask.

Alcina's brows furrow as she looks to her three daughters.

"It's human meat," Bela scowls at you.

You can't help but feel sick at the very thought of eating human meat. Your fork clatters onto your plate as you now quickly stand to head out.

"What's wrong with her?" Cassandra frowns.

"If she's not eating that, I will." Daniela smiles as she takes your plate.

Alcina places her fork down at realising. "She's been brought up in the village, she's not used to how we do things here."

"Then she'll have to if she wants to stay here," Bela huffed.

"Girls, could you at least accept another sister?" Alcina pleads with them.

"We don't know her like we know each other. Why can't you accept it's hard for us too?"

Sighing Alcina covered her face with her hands. "I'm sorry," she sighed. "It's hard for us all."

"We just don't want to lose your love for us too," Daniela now spoke up as she ate.

Lowering her hands, she looked to them all.

"My love for you won't change. You're all equal in my eyes."

Bela gave a nod.

"Thank you," she smiled as she now stood to head out.

She just managed to find you in your room, pacing back and forth.

"(Y/N), my darling."

You turn to look at her. "Why? Why, do that to me?"

"I'm sorry that you were brought up on animal meat, but here you'll come to see we do things differently."

"You're taking lives," you snap at her. "Human lives! And you're...you're eating them."

"What does it differ from human to animal?" she asks. "Humans are no different to animals, in fact they're worse."

"But you can't just kill them and eat them!"

"And who is to tell me I can't?" she asks, voice now raising slightly.

"I want to go home," you now say as you brush past her.

"Fine!" she snaps. "I said I wouldn't stop you and I won't!"

You storm right out of the castle and down the path, your eyes clouded by tears. You give one last look back at the castle, seeing your actual mother look at you before closing the doors.

"I should never have gone there," you can't help but shake as you let the tears fall.

Wiping them away, you take your time back into the village and over to your old home. You bring up your hand to knock on the door, being quite relived to see it's your mother.

"Who is it?" she asks.

"Luna," you tell her.

"Luna," she smiles, opening her arms out to you.

You allow her to take you into a hug, but then the tears start up again.

"I'm sorry," you whisper to her.

"Why ever for?" she asks.

"For ever leaving you," you tell her.

She furrows her brows as she pulls away.

"You were looking after the old couple, weren't you?" she asks.

"No," you sigh. "I was actually..."
