The girls of Spice Chord followed Ran and her friend back to the island where Jacklyn had awakened her music power. There they saw Ran and her friend tending to injured animals. From what the inexperienced girls could tell, most of them had minor ailments like hurt wings and legs, while others had bigger problems. "I had no idea Ran was a young vet," Jacklyn thought to herself. Before the girls could talk to Ran though, she quickly left with a baby griffon in her arms. "Where is she going now?" Laura asked uncertainly. The girls left her friend behind, and pursued Ran with the griffon, albeit very slowly due to not wanting to startle them.
Ran was carrying the griffon back to its home, for it had a badly-broken wing and was unable to fly. She took the griffon to a different island, one with a lot more steep cliffs reflecting their habitat, where she returned the griffon to its parents. As Jacklyn watched, the poster she had bought along last time got blown away by the wind toward Ran where she soon picked it up and observed it. "I hope she doesn't find out that we're watching her," After observing the poster, one of the characters began to glow in a bright mellow yellow. The character was a yellow pegasus with a pink mane and tail. Ran soon reached into the poster which had begun to entirely glow in that same color, and pulled out a tambourine. Jacklyn had seen all this happen, and expected Ran to have a startled response toward what had happened, but instead, Ran began to sing all while taking care of the griffons.
Song:So Much More to Me-Fluttershy
Do you think the coast is clear?
No one to see, no one to hear,
Me sing out my song?
I think we're all alone.
After that, Ran began to play the tambourine, and was surprisingly great at it.
I don't need my name in lights,
That's not where I've set my sights.
Oh, oh, oh no, not me,
I don't need a stage to sing!
I like the quiet, I like the calm!
To turn it up, to sing along,
I'm not just shy, look close and you will see,
There's so much more to me!
I'm just fine rehearsing on my own,
My hairbrush is my microphone!
Look out now, I'm in the zone,
Yeah!
Can you feel it?
I like the quiet, I like the calm!
To turn it up, to sing along,
I'm not just shy, look close and you will see,
There's so much more to me!
I speak soft out in a crowd, I whisper, "Am I being too loud?"
But when I close that door, the crowd, it just wants more and more and more!
After singing that line, Ran herself began to glow in the same yellow glow from the poster. However, Ran seemed oblivious to the glow, and just kept on performing.
I like the quiet, I like the calm!
To turn it up, to sing along,
I'm not just shy, look close and you will see,
There's so much more to me,
I like my friends, I like my pets,
I like to rock, do pirouettes!
I'm more than shy, I'm more than you can see,
There's so much more than me!
As Ran was singing the last parts of her song, she began to transform into a human. Her human form looked similar to one of the fairy girls from the poster, but instead of the human's natural hair color which was magenta, Ran's form had brown hair. Ran soon realized that she had changed forms, and began to admire herself.
Jacklyn, Laura, and Charlie were surprised by Ran's new form, but were also baffled by the fact that Ran was completely unfazed by her new look. Laura soon stepped out of her cover followed by Jacklyn and Charlie. Ran was embarrassed that people had overheard her singing, but was curious if they knew some information about the poster.
