The next morning neither Barry nor Kara spoke a word of their 'almost' kiss, the speedster waking up at the crack of dawn, super speeding a shower, a change of clothes, and was at the DEO drinking some coffee with Alex in a somewhat awkward conversation.

Pushing opening the doors of the NCPD, Barry felt a wave of calmness roll over him, tightening his messenger's bag closer, Barry looked around with awe, taking in all the sights. Officers walked around, some escorting someone to cells, some just chatting.

A television boomed, replaying Supergirl's recent heroics. The Superheroine guiding a passenger plane to safety, the camera zoomed in on her, Kara gave the camera a wink, before shooting off into the air.

"Barry Allen..?" A voice called out to him.

Barry turned and saw a woman of Spanish descent walk towards him, she had flowing brown hair, brown eyes, dressed in a black suit top with black slacks - the perfect detective outfit.

"Yes...? And you are?" Barry questioned uneasy, tightening his handbag. Slightly wary about strangers approaching him, figuring it was okay seeing how he was in a police station.

"Commissioner Sawyer, nice to meet you"

Barry immediately straightened up and promptly started stammering, clumsily offering his hand. Oh man he hoped he wasn't messing up his chance for the job.

Commissioner Sawyer laughed, accepting the handshake, her grip firm. He winced, he really should work on his upper body strength a little. Maybe he could get Winn, and Lawrence and they could do some upper body work, out of the three Lawrence had the most muscle mass and it wasn't by much.

"Come on, let us go to my office"

Barry followed the woman through the prescient, still looking at everything, debating to go into Flashtime, and look at everything some more.

Maggie Sawyer opened her office door, letting the man walk past her in, of course, the curious speedster starts looking at everything. Sue him he was on the brand new earth with brand new environments it was exciting.

"Sit, get comfortable" Maggie commanded, walking around the desk, unclipping her firearm, setting it on the desk. She sat in an incredibly cool-looking chair, he wanted one.

Barry did so, sitting down. The chair was surprisingly comfy, he shifted, getting comfortable. He was going to ace this-

"So Alex tells me your this blur that's been running around National City," Maggie drops casually as if talking about the weather, picking up a folder with his name on it.

Barry's entire world fell from underneath him, he was super freaking happy he was sitting down, otherwise, he would've fainted. Instead, his eyes widened considerably, gripping the seat handles till his knuckles went white till slumping backward in the chair defeated.

Alex Danvers outed him to the police commissioner.

Barry's mind couldn't find a reason why she would tell the POLICE commissioner of all things about his secret identity. This morning! Not even hours ago he shared a cup of coffee with the woman, laughing about a time when Winn slipped on an ice cube.

Unless...

Kara called up Alex last night and told her about how much of a failure he was for trying to kiss her, and now Barry was on his way to a secret government facility to be dissected.

Barry's vision spun, as he got lightheaded as he internally kept spiraling, each thought worse and worse. He should've known better, Alex hated him, she threw milk at him after all.

"Barry, Barry! Jeez, Alex was right you do spiral hard.." Barry briefly wondered how Alex could even know about that, he'd only been here a week, was he that obvious?

"Barry, look it's fine, I know about Alex... and Kara.."

Barry snapped to attention, freaking out the former detective a bit, he looked immensely relieved. The speedster briefly thinking he should stop doing that.

"You do? Wow, that's such a relief, wait how do you even know, are... are you a secret undercover agent for the DEO?" Barry whispered, looking around suspiciously.

Maggie laughed, leaning back in the chair, holding a hand up to her mouth, attempting to stop her laughter.

"No, Barry, not at all, Alex and I tell each other everything, we're together" It took a minute before Barry's bean brain caught up, a happy expression grew on his face.

"That's awesome! Congrats, wait how does - never mind, none of my business" Barry rambled, looking at Maggie, expectation in his soft eyes, even if Alex hadn't said anything, there was no way she could've turned Barry Allen away.

Maggie just sat with an amused smile, Alex wasn't kidding, Barry did remind her of Little Danvers.

"So Barry, from what I've read here, it says you were a CSI back on your Earth?"

Barry nodded brightly, "One of the best" He smiled, pretty proud of himself, he took great enthusiasm with his day job. Now that he was only going to be The Flash part-time, he could focus more on his work during the day.

"That's pretty trippy, and we have aliens here," Maggie replied, running a hand through her hair. This man was from a whole another earth. She leaned back, an incredibly goofy picture of Barry stapled on the top, the speedster would certainly blush if she showed him this - she should send this to Kara.

"I know, I can't wait to fight one," Barry said ecstatic, folding his hands, smile wide. Maggie wondered how crazy her life has gotten since meeting Alex Danvers, aliens and fast men from other dimensions who wanted to fight aliens.

Well, his record looked good, no doubt fabricated by Winn, Maggie didn't have to go through the usual procedure when interviewing potential CSI,

"Arrr, right, well I'm sure you'd do great with that, as for your application here - welcome to the National City Police Department"

Barry stood fast, "Really? That's - Yes! Thank you so much, you won't regret this!" Barry exclaimed, his forest green eyes popping with joy. Maggie stood also extending her hand, The Scarlet Speedster eagerly shaking her hand.

"I'll see you bright and early tomorrow Barry" Maggie smiled, sitting back. Barry walked over to her window, opening it, the police commissioner looking dumbfounded.

"Uh, what are you doing?"

Barry scratched his cheek sheepishly, "Oh, sorry umm" In a second Barry was running down the side of the building, hollering with happiness. He had his speed for a bit now, it still was such a thrill.

Speeding past NC Bakery, a box of donuts in his grip. Barry continued the familiar journey to CatCo, the building entering his sights, flashing into an alley.

Barry stood in the elevator, checking his hair on the shiny surface of the elevator, making sure it looked good. The door opened, a bald man with glasses entered, going to press a button then stopped seeing his floor was already selected.

Barry felt the need to whistle, he was in a really good mood and wanted nothing more to express so but had a small hunch that the man that occupied the elevator wouldn't agree.

As soon as the door opened, he could feel the air shift, specifically around the man. Barry gave him a wide berth, slightly concerned about what this man would unleash, his face was already slowly getting red.

Kara Danvers sat at her desk, typing out an article on 'The Blur' the woman adding the bare essentials, not wanting to reveal anything too crazy. It would be a mess if anything was revealed too early.

The Blur had only been seen a handful of times since returning to National City, once fighting an unknown enhanced, which the public had no idea about. So the only times people seeing warm yellowish streaks running to and from, disappearing before questions could be asked. Barry hadn't had his big breakthrough where 'The Flash' would catch on.

He might not get one... Kara thought solemnly unless hostel aliens starting falling from the sky, Barry would be out of luck, heck it took her saving a passenger airline for her to be named and she didn't even agree with it at first.

"Danvers!"

"Kara!"

Two voices yelled, both different tones and levels of excitement. Kara looked over, seeing both Barry Allen and her boss Snapper, the latter looking at Barry with surprise. Barry smiled guilty, clutching the donuts closer to his chest.

"Oh, Rao..." Kara muttered, Snapper shaking his head in exasperation before walking over to her,

"Did you finish the article on the Blur?"

Kara shook her head, knowing where this was heading. She had to very carefully write her words, having already made the mistake of calling The Blur, The Flash multiple times, it was maddening. So progress was going slow.

"No sir, The Blur has only been seen a few times, his motives unclear" Kara lied smoothly, the only time where she didn't give herself away. It was hard either way, lying went against everything she stood for.

Snapper shook his head condescending, looking at Kara like she knew nothing. Kara squinted at the man, ignoring Barry for the moment, his mouth most likely catching flies.

"Ahhh but that's where your wrong Danvers. A credible source has told me that a few days ago a warehouse mysteriously collapsed on the east side of time, hmmm conflict with the blur perhaps?"

Kara's left eye twitched, actually a bit surprised at that. She wondered who was Snapper's source, the fact that he even knew about the fight was such a surprise. Barry had only arrived that day, The DEO got extremely lucky a camera had picked up the dimensional traveler.

"Friend, ally? Invader? Find out Danvers; also find out why Supergirl doesn't seem too concerned about the entire thing, something smells fishy here.." Snapper ordered, heading to his office. He stopped at the door, looking back at Kara.

"Also tell your boyfriend, not to loiter around for too long"

Kara opened her mouth to correct him before just sighing, not bothering to. Nobody would believe her anyway. Barry Allen didn't help any, looking at her like she hung the sun or something, looking so precious holding those delicious delights.

As Snapper disappeared behind the door, Kara gestured to Barry that it was safe to come closer. He did look very apologetic, he pulled up one of her co-worker's chairs.

"I'm sorry if I got you in trouble," Barry gently spoke, looking like a kicked puppy. Kara almost reached out to pinch his cheek, she didn't think he could look any cuter.

Barry shyly slid the box of donuts on her desk in a peace offering, giving Kara such a soft, adorable, cute-

Kara this time did reach out for his collar, only barely stopping herself - Rao, she almost did something embarrassing, she'd never heard the end of it from Alex if she had just done that, clenching her fist she gently let her hand fall to the desk.

The desk shook violently,

Oops...

Barry fell over himself trying to save the donuts, stabilizing the desk.

"Whew... well that was exciting" Barry remarked, beaming at the Kryptonian, flipping open the box. Kara rolled her eyes at the speedster, just as excited about the donuts.

"So Barry, what brings you to my neck of National City?" Kara smiled, licking her lips of the sugary treat. No matter how many donuts she ate, the next one was always the best tasting one.

Barry's eyes widened, "Oh yeah," He laughed, almost forgetting why he was here. He sat up straighter, "You're looking at National City's newest CSI!" He did a little pose, puffing out his chest a bit.

Kara giggled, jumping to her feet, opening her arms wide, Barry didn't waste any time embracing her. They enjoyed the comfort of each other, Barry reflecting that coming to this Earth was the greatest decision he ever made.

"You'll do great things," Kara whispered, still holding onto him, having no doubts about his abilities.

"Thank you, maybe I'll get lucky and see Supergirl..." Barry whispered back, feeling Kara pull away. She searched his face, looking for something. Her face scrunching up playful.

"Oh my, Barry? Don't tell me you have a crush on Supergirl?' Kara teased, poking his shoulder, not thinking anything of it.

"Maybe I do... " Barry's mouth moved without thinking, his eyes immediately going to the floor. Blushing and embarrassed, he shuffled his feet. Kara also blushed, her eyes also looking anywhere but Barry, the two standing around like awkward love-struck teenagers.

After an uncomfortable pause, Barry cleared his throat, "Uhm, anyway, I gotta go, I'll see you tonight?" not waiting for an answer he shuffled off to the elevator in a hurry.

Kara took a deep breath, plopping down on her chair, running a hand down her face. She had no clue what this was between Barry and herself, this speedster and Kryptonian game of cat and mouse.

Kara hadn't wanted to acknowledge these growing feelings of - no, she wasn't going there. She couldn't allow this to ruin the good thing they had going but it was hard, it felt too damn right and easy with Barry,

Kara bit her lip, guess she would have to talk to Alex after all, she already knew her sister would love this - that alone almost made her reconsider.

"Barry Allen, what am I going to do with you?" Kara sighed adjusting her glasses, looking off into the city, the speedster's yellow-ish lightning trail running off into the distance.

Kara said nothing to her boss as she left CatCo, her article already on his desk. After Barry departed the building, Kara immediately sent a text to Alex telling her to meet her at her loft after work, telling her it was an SOS.

Alex replied not a second later with an affirmative, saying that she would be around an hour after Kara got out of work, also bringing Maggie with her. Kara thought it was a good idea, three minds were better than two, especially if one was Maggie's.

Getting Barry out of the loft was another thing, well it was until Winn sent her a text saying Barry would be staying the night, claiming he would be 'hanging' with the boys. If Kara knew any better she would've thought Barry was holding his intervention, till she quickly dismissed the idea seeing how ridiculous that was, Barry simply wanted time to bond with more of his male friends.

Kara wondered if Winn would invite - her cell suddenly ringing interrupted her thought, she answered, putting the device to her ear,

"Hello?"

"Kara? Where the heck are you?" Alex's voice echoed, her sister sounding impatient. Kara glanced around, she was still a ways from her loft, she must of be walking super slow.

"What do you mean? It's only-" The time reading 6:20 on her phone, "Oh it's already six, oh shoot, okay, sorry time must have gotten away from me, I'll stop by really quick and pick up some dinner now" Kara hung up, hustling down the sidewalk, turning down an alley before exploding into her Supergirl outfit, out into the sky.

Meanwhile at Winn's,

Barry was at the kitchen table nursing a beer, Lawrence had just arrived and the two men were on the couch playing video games, the noises that reached Barry's ears suggested it was one of the newer Call of Duty's.

Winn had placed the order for pizza and wings earlier, getting this shindig started, Barry had immediately came here from CatCo unable to hide his embarrassment. When Winn agreed to say it had been a while since the boys had gotten together.

When asking what brought this on, Barry blew him off saying everything was fine. He just wanted to hang out with him and Lawrence, wanting to get to know Team Supergirl better.

Any other time Barry would've thought Winn walking away, suspiciously typing away on his phone would be a cause for concern. However the speedster didn't bother to press, his mind was already a cluster of thoughts, all about Kara.

Barry didn't originally come here to start falling for the Girl of Steel, he came here to start a new life, away from Central City, away from all the hurt and tragedy he left behind. The small voice in his head telling him it was a good thing, he would move on from his past, moving forward.

That was the scary part, since the day he arrived, Barry hadn't felt weighed down by his grief. Sure the moments when he felt immense sadness, they didn't last long, not when she was around.

Kara was... Kara was hope personified, a tall standing lighthouse, a beacon of sunshine. eyes showed calmness, an experience like nothing would unnerve her. Their reunion showed him that, Barry was awed at her ability to swoop in and instantly take control of the situation, oozing confidence.

Kara didn't pass judgment on him when he broke down, spilling his guts about why he left his earth, she of all people could - losing an entire planet, dealing with planetary threats, here she was still standing, still fighting, Barry thought she was amazing.

But all that wasn't what was making him fall so fast and deep for the Kryptonian woman, it was just her, her personality, just who she was at her core, Kara Zor-El, her smile when directed at him, the silly little dances she would do in her kitchen when she thought nobody was looking, the little crinkle in her forehead when something was bothering her.

Everything about her was perfect, even though Barry knew logically perfection didn't exist, it made her even more perfect, just knowing she wasn't perfect, she had her faults, just like everyone else, her adversity.

But... That was the problem really, the whole reason he was here, at Winns. A mess, unsure about himself. Kara Danvers was in a league of her own, there was no way in hell someone like Kara would like someone like him.

Tall, lanky - awkward Barry Allen, emotionally compromised Barry Allen. The man who would more likely bust into tears watching the end of Titanic, who liked to snuggle with a good book. It was understandable at first, all the bullying, all the teasing, people calling him crazy over his mother's murder - It was all too much, even when both his parents were alive he would fearfully see other kids get bullied, he would keep his head down and try to ignore it, usually failing.

"So, girl trouble huh?" a voice startled Barry out of his thoughts, Winn was leaning against the doorway smirking, Lawrence stood behind him, munching on some chips.

"What? No, what makes you think that? I've been here only a week," Barry waved off, laughing nervously, trying to play it off. Winn only walked further in the room, digging through a cooler, tossing another beer to both men.

"Oh please, you can't fool me, I've seen that same look on this big lugs face for over five months, I know when someone has it bad" Winn jerked his finger at Agent Junior, a chip close to his mouth.

Lawrence looked surprised at being called out like that, he wasn't expecting that at all, neither did Barry by the looks of it.

"That stupid, lovesick grin," Winn grinned, "Oh man it's Kara huh, spill" Barry rolled his eyes as the other men sat down. He had a feeling Winn wasn't going to let this go easily.

Back with Kara, she was just entering her loft elevator, holding boxes of pizza with some potstickers on the side. She let herself do a little spin as the elevator took her upward, she was excited to get down and eat, oh and talk to Alex of course.

"I'm here!" Kara hollered, kicking her door shut, throwing her purse and keys on a desk. Walking further into the room, she caught Alex and Maggie in a tight lip lock, Kara squeaked.

"Oh Rao... guys, gross, not on my couch!" Kara exclaimed, turning around quickly. Maggie exploding with laughter, Alex chuckling under her breath as they pulled away from each other.

"Sorry, little Danvers was just a little bored.." Maggie stood, accepting the offered pizza boxes. Kara walked over to the couch, shrugging, not bothered, she just liked to tease Alex.

"So what's up little Danvers, what's got your head in space girl?" Maggie asked, biting into the pizza, letting a moan leave her lips, Alex chuckling again, leaning over to kiss her cheek. Kara musing on how in sync the two seemed to be.

"Is this about Barry?" Alex asked, immediately zoning in on the issue at hand, knowing Kara like the back of her hand, she swirled the red wine in her glass,

Kara frowned, annoyed at Alex for instantly knowing what she was going to bring up, even without her saying it. Alex saw Kara's face morph with annoyance, excitement bubbled up within the Danver sister.

"Oh my god, it is about Barry! You have a crush on him! I knew it!" Alex exclaimed, bouncing in place. Ever since the speedster arrived, Kara had been a little different. Smiling more, more active in her Supergirl duties, more bubbly than usual. It was a slight change from normal behavior, but it was there and of course, Alex had noticed, Kara was her sister after all.

"No! Yes- Ugh, I mean, it's not that easy," Kara stood up, walking in front of her television, pacing. Alex and Maggie shared a look, similar thoughts passing through their minds.

"How is it not easy, hun?" Maggie asked gently, leaning forward in concern, both women surprised at how hot and bothered Kara seemed to be over this, she'd always seemed so relaxed with her ex-boyfriends, never this worked up about a boy she liked.

Kara sighed, "You guys know how Barry is from another Earth, right?" Taking off her glasses, rubbing her eyes tiredly. Both women nodding, Maggie still thinking how crazy that was.

"Barry... suffered let's say, a personal tragedy, traveling to our world for a fresh start, so that means he's not emotionally ready for whatever this is," Kara gestured to the space between her and the air.

"I don't want to take advantage of him.." Kara finished, turning around, wrapping her arms around her body. Maggie and Alex looked at each other, having a conversation with their eyes. Alex seemingly winning the exchange, standing up.

"Take advantage? Kara, let me say this with the uttermost confidence when I tell you that man has a crush on you, it's not even funny," Surprise crossed the Kryptonian,

"Alex is right Kara, just from the little interaction Barry and I had today, he seemed pretty well put together to me" Maggie spoke up, adding in her two cents.

Kara bit her lip, "What if he's just good at hiding it?" Her face lined with concern. Kara hoped that wasn't the case, Barry was a good friend to her, and it would break her heart to know she couldn't do more for him.

Maggie snorted while Alex crackled with laughter, Kara crossed her arms defensively, she had no idea her concern was unnecessary.

"Kara, Barry Allen doesn't seem like the kind of guy to hide what he is feeling, push it down yes, but hide completely? I don't think so" Maggie informed, not knowing the guy but as a former detective she knew people and you couldn't fake happiness and Barry was full of it at the prescient.

"Did you ever stop and think, maybe being around you has helped him get through whatever he's going through?" Alex asked, taking a drink of the wine.

Kara stopped pacing, running a hand through her blonde hair. No, she hadn't, off the top of her head there had only been three occasions where Barry had let himself be vulnerable with her, she thought, looking back on those times during the week,

Kara sat on the couch, her computer on her lap, fingers typing quickly on the keyboard. Barry came through the door, a tray of cupcakes in his hand, a healthy smile on his face.

'Those cupcakes for me, Mr. Allen?' A quick burst of hurt passed in his eyes, his aura suddenly downcast, Kara instantly was concerned, meeting him at the door, she laid a soothing hand on his forearm.

'You okay Barry?' Kara asked, hopefully sending positive vibes, Barry slowly met her eyes, nodding, looking a bit confused. Being called Mr. Allen stirred up painful memories of his father and with one touch, Barry felt at ease.

'Yeah, I am,' Barry smiled, his eyes back to their usual warmth. Kara just looked at him, blue and green lost in their respective eyes.

Kara shook her head, the memory fading, another pushing itself to the surface,

'Kara sighed happily, rubbing a towel in her wet blonde hair. Kara maneuvered into the living area, the tips of her fingers brushing against a picture frame. A figure in red leather was hunched over asleep on her couch, their eyes closed.

Moving in front of him, she could see his face contorted in agony,

"No, take me, kill me" Barry muttered quietly, still asleep. His body jerked if startled.

"Bare?" Kara questioned quietly, the man was still in his Flash outfit, a brand new lightning emblem proudly displayed on his chest, Barry must have just collapsed on the couch, dead to the world. She sat down next to him, knowing he was in a nightmare, placing a hand uncertainty on his shoulder about to shake him,

"Come on, come on.." The speedster continued mumbling, tone desperate. Kara shook him, trying to wake him, worry blooming in her chest, Barry seemed tormented, his lips frowning.

"Barry," Kara shook him again, his green orbs finally opening slowly, a blank look on his face. Barry leaned heavily back on the couch, staring ahead.

"You wanna talk about it?" Kara prodded gently, Barry shook his head, his thoughts dark. He wanted to curl up in a ball and cry, every night for the last two weeks had been rough, to say the least. He opened his mouth to express this only able to croak out a single word.

"Zoom.." His face fractured, lips twitching with grief. The dream seemingly as lifelike as the memory it's spawned from, a hand-rubbed his throat gently, remembering the scream that left his throat that night.

Kara understood, nodding, sitting back. She gently tugged Barry sideways, his head falling in her lap. His wide doe eyes looking up at her, feeling safe enough to accept her comfort. Kara softly started singing in kryptonese, the words lost on him but the comfort wrapping him like a warm blanket.

Barry couldn't help the tears that escaped his eyes, sobbing silently. Kara continues her soothing tune, she ran her thumb across his cheek, wiping away the tears. Barry closed his eyes at the contact, leaning into her hand.

"Oh, Barry.." Kara whispered, "Let it all out,' his expression twisted hurt in, knowing he was emotionally understood. Kara had spent months no -years grieving over the loss over her planet. She knew better than anyone how bad it was to keep your emotions bottled up.

Barry stopped sobbing, gently hiccuping, looking up into Kara's compassionate eyes, feeling small underneath her gaze. Kara just pulled him into a hug, clutching him to her chest. Barry just closed his eyes tight, wrapping his arms around her midsection.

Kara sighed glancing at the two women on the couch, knowing smirks on their faces. Kara rolled her eyes, Alex could be so smug sometimes but she loved the woman to death. The last occasion was the day of the milk incident, it was recent so she had already been thinking of it.

The group of Alex, Winn, Lawrence, Kara, and Barry were all traveling down the street, walking on the sidewalk, the sun had gone down an hour ago, the super friends returning from the alien bar. Lena had been with them also but left in her car since she hadn't drunk.

Winn was leading the group while Alex was herding along Lawerence, the man very intoxicated, essentially leaning on her as they walked. Kara and Barry brought up the rear, completely fine, the alcohol not affecting them, Kara's head lazily bobbing to the side, the Kryptonian very tired.

Barry had his hands tucked in his pocket, the time they spent together was nice he admitted, enjoying the company of his new friends, it had a very family-like vibe to it, they group laughing and joking while enjoying drinks together.

The thought reminded him of Caitlin and Cisco, all the times they went out for the night, the first time trying to get him drunk, his heart twitched with fondness - Barry sighed, nostalgia running amok. He turned his head slightly catching Kara looking at him, her blue eyes asking him a silent question.

Barry responded by lightly brushing against the tip of her fingers with his own, letting her know he was okay, just thinking. Kara tilted her head in acknowledgment, her attention moving ahead to their friends who were starting to get rowdy, her sister in particular.

"Hey, Winn, instead of maybe ya know, being useless, how about you come to help me with this glut you call a friend, he's not light" Alex scowled stumbling slightly to the right, almost hitting the wall, the man giggling at the erratic movement.

Winn oh'd, lightly jogging back to them, throwing Lawrence's other arm over his head. Alex sighed with relief most of the pressure off her. The drunk agent looking heavier than he looked, probably didn't help that he was essentially dragging his feet.

"What do you mean 'My friend' Alex, don't pretend like he isn't your best friend" Winn teased lightly, Alex's cheeks dusted pink, she would've kicked his shin if he wasn't so far.

"Shut up Winn," Alex grumbled as the man they carried squeezed them gently with affection. Kara and Barry looking on amused, from the look on Kara's face this wasn't the first time this had happened.

"I love you guys!" Lawrence shouted looking up at the sky. Winn and Kara laughed, Alex was pretending to be annoyed, a small smile on her face anyways. Barry smiled softly, yeah what he had was great, amazing even and it'll always have a place in his heart but standing here, among these people, he knew he was home.

Kara rubbed her chin thoughtfully, "You guys may have a point," She finally admitted, Maggie and Alex exchanged a high five, the childish action making Kara smile, she was so happy Alex and Maggie worked through their issues, she was very sad they called off the engagement. Imagine her delight when they got back together, Kara couldn't stop squealing for days.

Alex turned back to her sister, Kara finally sitting down on the loveseat, picking up her plate again, the majority of the potstickers on it. Her body shivering as she took a bite.

"But hey, if it still bothering you, just let him dictate the pace, ya know? That way you don't have to worry about it anymore" Alex suggested, leaning her head on Maggie's shoulder. Kara nodded her head in agreement, that was a good idea, she didn't know why she hadn't thought of that earlier, ah, yeah, every time she was around Barry that dang boy would make her mind go blank,

Yeah, she could do that, smiling she got comfortable with her sisters on the couch, a movie starts. For now, she was right where she wanted to be and that was enough for her.
