Connections Part 1
On their way out of the grocery store, Jamal checked his watch.
"Shoot! We have to be home for dinner!" Jamal exclaimed.
"We'll meet again tomorrow at my house." Tina said.
"Good plan, Tina." Casey said.
At the Jenkins residence that evening, Jamal and his family were sitting down to dinner.
When the telephone rang.
"I'll answer that," Jamal said. "it could be Rob."
Jamal went to answer the telephone.
Over at the Baker residence, Rob was busy setting his books on his bookcase.
When the telephone rang.
"Rob, telephone," Missis Baker called. "it's someone named Jamal Jenkins!"
"I'll be down in a few minutes, Mom!" Rob called back.
"Okay." Missis Baker said to Rob.
Missis Baker went downstairs to get dinner started.
Rob went downstairs after putting his books away.
"Hello, Jamal." Rob said on his end of the phone line.
"Hi, Rob," Jamal said. "I said I would fill you in on the case."
"Don't leave me in suspense," Rob said over the phone. "just what did you find at that grocery store today?"
"We found a blue bandana, Tina has called a rally at her house tomorrow," Jamal said on his end. "can you make it?"
