I'm so so sorry it took this long to get a chapter up. I meant to upload on spring break last week but I forgot, and I only got this chapter done maybe two weeks ago and I just never uploaded. So I'm sorry lol. I hope I don't throw anything into the story and make it weird, I got some ideas that I tried to incorporate, but they were really out of the blue lol.

I stiffened and pushed Fang away. I looked over and saw Iggy smirking with his arms crossed. "you're gonna tell me what you were doing before my mind comes up with ideas?"

Fang rolled his eyes. "We were arguing and I shoved her against the wall." Iggy waggled his eyebrows. "That's not what it looked like," he snickered. Iggy looked and me and something flashed through his eyes. Regret?

I scoffed and shoved past Iggy, going outside to the treehouse. This treehouse is where the Rising started. I come out here now when I'm angry. I climbed up and got a dr. Pepper out of the box and sat down.

I hate Fang. No new news. But lately he has gotten under my skin so easily. I must be spending to much time around him.

I heard the ladder creak and groaned. "Go away Tooth," I yelled. I heard a snort. "I'm not Fang." I opened my eyes to see Iggy's strawberry blonde hair sticking in.

"Are you going to let me in or...?" He trailed off. I stared at him. He muttered, "okay," and then hopped in. He grabbed a drink and sat down in the bean bag in front of me.

"Do you remember when we were friends? In high school?" Iggy asked after awhile. I nodded. " 'course. We were best friends." Until he started hanging out with Fang and ditched me. He became a jerk. A player. He'd date anyone that looked at him, but he never had a girlfriend for more then two weeks. I confronted him about it and he'd brushed me off. He never talked to me until after the Fallen and the Risings had gotten big. Even then...

"I'm sorry," Iggy said. I looked up and saw him looking me in the eyes. "I really am. I don't why I did what I did. I wouldn't really change anything because off where we are now but I do really regret leaving you. Especially when you needed me most."

Oh yeah, and Iggy had ditched me on the anniversary of my dads death.

His eyes were honest. He really did regret it. "I want to be friends again." I mulled it over as I nodded slowly. "We can try. But if you ever do anything like that again, so help me..." I trailed off, glaring at him. He nodded. "I promise."

I nodded and got up. "I need to go check and see if mom needs any help," I said. Iggy nodded and got up. "I really am sorry," he said. "I know." I turned around to go down the ladder when Iggy wrapped his arms around me.

I stiffened at first but eventually returned the hug, wrapping my arms around his waist. I felt my chin on top of my head and laughed.

"What?" Iggy asked, and I could hear the confusion in his voice. "Last time you hugged me, I was a good three inches taller. Now you tower over me," I explained. I felt his chest vibrate with laughter. "You're right," he agreed. He pulled away and said, "we should probably get back before they get any ideas," he waggled his eyebrows and I snorted at his perverishness.

I climbed down first and waited on Iggy, before we walked into the house together.

--time skip to next week--

The concert started in two days and we have been practicing non stop. We just finished the last song on the album and Marty was going over it and making sure everything was as it should be.

"Max, heads up." I turned my head towards Iggy's voice as he threw a water bottle at me. I caught it and took a big swig. Me and Iggy had gotten close again. I was still kind of iffy around him, but I was glad we were friends again. I hadn't realized how much I'd missed one of my best friends.

"Yo Max!" I turned to Fang. "Do you want to go over Just One Yesterday again?" He asked. I nodded and went back to my mic. I motioned with my hand to get the rest of the band's attention, and smirked at Nudge's new hairstyle. She had randomly dyed strands of her hair hot pink. It looked pretty good, and that's coming from someone who despises pink.

Everyone went to their spots, with Iggy on the drums, Gasman on the electric guitar and backup, Nudge with keyboard and backup, and Angel on bass. Me and Fang stood at the front of the stage with our mics.

We were at our first location, which was at a concert hall somewhere near my house. In two days, this hall would be packed, and then we would go to another location in Arizona, before we moved on to another state.

We don't really have any choreography, we just need to make sure we get out of the way when the sparks fly. Literally. Some of the wires were connected to Gazzy's guitar, and when he hit certain chords, it triggered some of the sparks, making it look really cool.

I nodded up at Marty in the sound booth and he turned the Instruments back on. Fang nodded at Iggy, (there's a lot of nodding going on) and he counted us off. 3,2,1-

(Just one Yesterday - Fall Out Boy)

Max and Fang -Gazzy Nudge - Max and Nudge Gazzy and Fang - all- Fang - Max - *not singing, just Max saying what's happening*

I thought of angels

Choking on their halos

Get them drunk on rose water(Water)

See how dirty I can get them pullin' out their fragile teeth

And clip their tiny wings (Clip their tiny wings)

Anything you say can and will be held against you

So only say my name

It will be held against you

Fang walked over to me and I stepped closer, trying not to be weirded out or laugh, because this was ridiculous*

Anything you say can and will be held against you

So only say my name

If heaven's grief brings hell's rain

Then I'd trade all my tomorrows for just one yesterday

I know I'm bad news

For just one yesterday

I saved it all for you

Oh, I want to teach you a lesson in the worst kind of way

Still I'd trade all my tomorrows for just one yesterday

I know I'm bad news

For just one yesterday

I saved it all for you

For just one yesterday

Lettin' people down is my thing, baby

Find yourself a new gig

This town ain't big enough for two of us

I don't have the right name

O-o-o-or the right looks

But I have twice the heart

Anything you say can and will be held against you

So only say my name

It will be held against you

Anything you say can and will be held against you

So only say my name, na-a-ame (Na-a-ame)

If heaven's grief brings hell's rain

Then I'd trade all my tomorrows for just one yesterday

I know I'm bad news

For just one yesterday

I saved it all for you

I want to teach you a lesson in the worst kind of way

Still I'd trade all my tomorrows for just one yesterday

I know I'm bad news

For just one yesterday

I saved it all for you

For just one yesterday

If I spilled my guts

The world would never look at you the same way

Now, I'm here to give you all of my love (Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh)

So I can watch your face as I take it all away, away, away, yeah (Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh)

If heaven's grief brings hell's rain

Then I'd trade all my tomorrows for just one yesterday

I know I'm bad news

For just one yesterday

I want to teach you a lesson in the worst kind of way

Still I'd trade all my tomorrows for just one yesterday

I know I'm bad news

For just one yesterday

I saved it all for you

For just one yesterday

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

As the song ended, I looked at Marty, and he gave us a thumbs up. We did good. Marty leaned into the mic and said, "y'all can go ahead and go home." We all nodded and packed up our stuff.

"Angel, need a ride?" I asked. She shook her head, making her blonde curls fall out of the messy bun she had it in. "I'm taking a cab," she said. I nodded and looked at Nudge, who shook her head and held up a piece of plastic.

"I'm taking advantage of having my license, so I'm going to head out." She said as she ran out.

I saw Gasman walk out and guessed he called a cab, since he wasn't old enough to have his license, just a Permit.

Surprisingly, none of us liked using the limo, unless a lot of people would be coming with us, like at the photo shoot.

"I need a ride," Iggy said, smiling lopsidedly. "No stink bombs," I warned, glaring halfheartedly. He put his hands up in a "I surrender" position. "No stink bombs," he promised.

Iggy glanced at Fang, who I had forgotten was there, and said, "bro, you need a ride?" Fang nodded. "I gotta get my license renewed," he muttered. I nodded, not sure if I wanted him to come. We hadn't been fighting, for the sake of the others, but we still didn't like each other.

"Let's go," I said, and walked out to my Jeep. It was a black 2013 wrangler, and I had taken the hood and doors off.

I saw Iggy walking towards the drivers side and cleared my throat, making Iggy turn around and grin cheekily, and redirect his course to the passengers side. Fang hopped in the back, while I got behind the wheel, obviously.

I pulled onto the highway and say Iggy reach towards the radio. "Ig, don't you dare turn on Katy Perry or some crap like that," I warned. (A/N sry to KP fans, I just don't like her lol)

He snickered and turn on "Boyfriend" by Justin Beiber. I'm pretty sure Iggy hated this song as much as me, but wanted to annoy me.

"If I was your boyfriend, I'd never let go!" Iggy sang. I heard Fang groan, and I shook my head as I changed the station to country. Country songs were my guilty pleasure. Well, one of them.

"Gods Country" by Blake Shelton come on, and I grinned and turned up the volume.

"I saw the light in the sunrise, Sittin' back in a 40 on the muddy riverside, Gettin' baptized in holy water and 'shine, With the dogs runnin', Saved by the sound of the been found, Dixie whistled in the wind, that'll get you Heaven bound, The Devil went down to Georgia but he didn't stick around, This is God's country"

I heard Fang vibing to the song so when the song hit its climax I turned the volume down a bit so we could hear Fang really good.

I gotta say, I was pretty shocked at how good Fang's voice went with country. I guess I shouldn't have been, since Fang had a really deep and husky voice.

I raised an eyebrow, in slight awe, and connected my phone to the Bluetooth, and played a karaoke version of a song. "Yo, Fang, sing this," I said, and handed my phone back to him.

He reluctant, and I pouted slightly, just teasing, not thinking it would do anything, when something in his expression changed, and he muttered, "okay," and started the soundtrack.

Baby, lock the door and turn the lights down low

And put some music on that's soft and slow

Baby, we ain't got no place to go

I hope you understand

I've been thinking 'bout this all day long

Never felt a feeling quite this strong

I can't believe how much it turns me on

Just to be your man

There's no hurry, don't you worry

We can take our time

Come a little closer, let's go over

What I had in mind

Baby, lock the door and turn the lights down low

And put some music on that's soft and slow

Baby, we ain't got no place to go

I hope you understand

I've been thinking 'bout this all day long

Never felt a feeling quite this strong

I can't believe how much it turns me on

Just to be your man

Ain't nobody ever love nobody

The way that I love you

We're alone now

You don't know how long I've wanted to

Lock the door and turn the lights down low

And put some music on that's soft and slow

Baby, we ain't got no place to go

I hope you understand

I've been thinking 'bout this all day long

Never felt a feeling that was quite this strong

I can't believe how much it turns me on

Just to be your man

I can't believe how much it turns me on

Just to be your man

Iggy whooped and Whistled. "Dude, if you sing that in public, the fan girls will go wild," he laughed. Fang shrugged, but smirked slightly at the ego boost.

I pulled into Fang's driveway and put the Jeep in park. "See ya dude," Iggy said, and Fang waved. I waved and when Fang went inside, I pulled out and drove towards Iggy's house.
