After the events that unfolded in the middle of the night the previous night the group had been making its way slowly back to Beacon academy. Suffice to say that the trip on the way back was brutal as none of them got to rest after the previous battle and they couldn't slow down without risking the body rotting. About two hours into going back Raven woke up to find that she was being carried.
'Wha... what's going on?' Raven feels that whoever was carrying her had to be pretty strong. 'It must be Taiyang...' Raven's eyes begin to slowly flutter open as she looks to the side to see the trees slowly passing by. She burrows her head a little bit deeper into the back of whoever was carrying her as she breathes in softly. 'This... is kind of nice.' Raven looks to her other side to see Summer standing on the other side. Summer sees the motion and turns her own head to look at Raven. Summer gives a polite wave as she speaks to her fellow teammate.
"Guys, it looks like Raven has woken up." Summer smiles at Raven.
"Oh what a relief! Good to see you awake partner." Raven turns her head back around to see Tai giving her a thumbs up and a smile. Upon seeing Tai, Raven's expression suddenly freezes.
'Wait. A. Second... If Tai is there then...' Raven looks forward to see short black hair as she slowly begins putting two and two together. Raven immediately leaps off of Qrow's back and stands on her own two feet. "That's enough of that." Raven says as her eyes are now shot wide open.
"Good to see ya awake to sis." Qrow roles his eyes. "You know that armor of yours makes you a lot heavier."
"Oh quiet you. I wear it for protection in battle." Raven then sighs. "Thank you." Raven quietly murmurs.
"It's fine. Although I'm making Tai carry you next time." Qrow responds back.
"Glad to see you finally awake." Lance speaks up which got all of their attention.
"What happened after I passed out?" Raven asks.
"We killed the creature and now Professor Lot is carrying the body back to Beacon." Summer responds.
Raven seems surprised by this. "But... how? I thought it could only be hurt by its own attacks?"
"Summer actually found out that the sections that were already damaged could be attacked." Tai explains.
"Huh. Makes sense I suppose." Raven shrugs in acceptance. Raven's stomach then grumbles. "Where is my bag at?"
"I've got it." Tai states as he hands Raven her bag. Raven then pulls out some food and eats.
"How long have I been out?"
Lance looks up into the sky as the sun still hasn't come out. "A few hours I would reckon. The sun should be coming up soon."
With that Raven was satisfied with her questions and the team and their professor fell back into silence.
A few hours later the sun came out and began rising into the sky. Team STRQ and Lance had been walking the entire time without once taking a break as they made their perilous journey back to Beacon.
Lance looks at his surroundings as he chooses this time to inform the group that they were half way back. "It would appear that we are half way back to Beacon."
"That's good to hear." Summer smiles in relief.
"I can't wait to get paid for this work." Raven grins.
"You and me both." Qrow agrees.
"I can't wait for a proper meal." Tai adds.
"That, I can also agree too." Raven responds back.
"Alright! My partner has finally agreed with me." Tai smiles dumbly at Raven.
"Well when we have to roast beans in a can on a fire and call it dinner its no wonder why I'd want something better to eat." Raven responds.
Lance suddenly notices something and turns his head around to warn Tai. "TAIYANG GET DOWN!"
Tai immediately activates Precognition to max as he dodges to the side as a knife implants itself into the ground right where he was just standing a moment ago. The knife glistened in the sunlight as a blur shoots right out of the bushes and is about to slit Raven's throat before Lance comes crashing down with his sword drawn to deflect the attack and push the attacker back. The attacker jumps back into the bushes as it begins to move around.
"Show yourself coward!" Lance places the body down and gets into an defensive position. The rest of Team STRQ also stay on high alert.
"Oh mister teacher person don't get in my way." The voice let off doesn't give any implications to the identity of the person. A pair of green eyes blur through the bushes as it aims its dagger right at Summer. Summer bursts into petals as the person blurs through her to change the course of their attack to Qrow instead. Qrow tries to swing his sword at the attacker but they prove to be too quick as Qrow feels a massive hit to his aura as he is pushed away.
'What kind of monster is this?!' Qrow internally thinks to himself. 'My aura can only take one more hit before I'm done for.' Qrow only sees a flash of green eyes as he is kicked right into a nearby tree as his aura breaks.
"QROW!" Summer shouts in distress.
"WHY YOU!" Raven coats her sword in red dust as she swings at their assailant full force which causes a massive explosion that creates a massive crater in the ground.
"Oh girly you're gonna haaave to try harder than that if you want to hit me." Raven freezes in fear as the attacker whispers that in her ear playfully. Raven turns her head to see the attacker swipe its dagger at her face. Raven moves her head enough to avoid the majority of the attack but even the graze is enough to nearly deplete her entire aura as well.
"HOW THE HELL ARE YOU SO STRONG?!" As Raven tries to attack the person everyone gets a better look at what this person looks like. The mystery person was wearing a worn looking black cloak that covered their entire body. The only things that could be seen were their black shoes and black wrist tape. They wore a hood that also covered their face. Their outfit made them appear androgynous and their voice didn't give any hints either. Raven swings her katana in several ferocious strikes at the cloaked figure as the mystery person jumps, ducks, and dodges from side to side from every strike.
"I'm gonna break you now." With one well placed slice the assailant creates a large gash across Ravens chest as she falls to the ground.
"Raven!" Tai yells. Tai brings Precognition up to max as he goes on the offensive against the attacker. Summer runs around and brings out her guns as she begins giving cover fire for Tai. Tai lunges his claws forwards, but the mystery person dodges to the side and plunges their dagger downward as Tai moves away. Summer aims her pistols right at the attacker, but the mystery person turns around and deflects each bullet with their dagger.
'This person is insane!' Summer thinks as she fires more shots. As the attacker is being distracted Tai gets right up behind them and delivers a multitude of punches and kicks at them as it dodges those as well. The attacker then deflects one of Summers bullets which causes it to hit Tai who is right behind it. The bullet shimmers off of Tai's aura as the attacker uses the slight distraction to plunge their dagger into Tai's gut. As the knife makes contact with his skin Tai can feel his aura drain rapidly in that split second before Tai jumps away and lunges his clawed hand forward as the mystery person jumps and balances on his claw before kicking him in the face which sends Tai sliding on the ground.
'M-my... aura... its almost... completely out...' Tai thinks to himself as he gets back up. The attacker is then right on him as Tai brings his weapons up to block the oncoming strike. As the dagger crashes into the claws their is a brief stalemate between the two. Summer readies her pistols as she takes shots at the attackers back. As the bullets make contact with the attacker they harmlessly bounce off them as a very light shimmer of lime green aura is shown. Tai can't hold the attacker for long as the attacker brings out another dagger that also shines in the sunlight. When the attacker brings the second dagger down everything starts going downhill for Tai. The knives begin slowly cutting through Tai's weapons as the daggers get closer and closer to aiming right for his face. Summer begins to run up to them as her hidden blades begin to emerge out of her cloak. Right at the same moment that the attacker slices through Tai's weapons, Summer tries to stab the attacker in the back. The attacker quickly turns around and deflects both attacks as they try to stab Summer right in the chest. Summer scatters again which makes the attacker jump back.
"That semblance is a bit of a nuisance." The attacker sighs. Tai tries to quietly crawl away, but the attacker without even looking back pulls out a throwing knife and throws it right at Tai's ankle. The blade burrows deep into his leg as Tai yells out in pain. Within a matter of moments the blade completely exits the other side of Tai's ankle as the wound begins to bleed profusely. As Tai slowly crawls back the attacker turns around to face him. "Awwwww I broke you too? I thought someone like you would last at least a little bit longer." A quiet laugh begins to radiate from the person as they take in the sadistic bliss of the pain they caused. Summer reforms as she has her gun directly to the head of the attacker.
"If you move, I'll shoot!" Summer threatens the assailant. Said individual begins to stress Summer out as they turn around and grab hold of the barrel of the gun.
"Oh really?" The attacker then does something completely unexpected and pulls the barrel into their own mouth. "Go ahead... DO IT!"
Summers hands tremble as she has no idea what to do in this situation. As Summer is distracted and paralyzed with shock and confusion the attacker quickly throws a throwing knife at Summer. The knife burrows into her ribs as it begins to crack the bones on the right side. The sudden surge of pain made Summer shoot her gun but the attacker dodged their head to the side as the bullet tears a hole through their hood. Summer then turns her body completely into petals as the knife drops to the ground. Luckily Summer activated her semblance before it could burrow into her organs. As the blood soaked throwing knife hits the ground Summer reforms a few feet away as she brings one hand to clutch at her wound while her other hand shakily held on to one of her pistols.
"You newbies are far too weak if you are to ever take on my dear family." The mystery attacker smiles to itself. "Now die!" The attacker lunges forward with their daggers out as they dash towards Summer.
'Screw the body! My students need help!' Right as the attacker is about to gut Summer, Lance comes crashing down once more as he knocks the attacker back. This time he pushes them back with enough force to knock their hood off which reveals their face. The face looked almost feminine in nature. They had bright green eyes and spiky black hair. Their face had a look of innocence that would fool anyone if it weren't for what had already happened. "Tell me girl, what if your name?" Lance asks as he raises his sword.
"Girl?" The attacker pouts their face. "Oh well you won't remember anyways." The attacker murmurs to itself. "My name is Jackson Erin..." The attacker then opens their cloak to reveal a black body suit as they hunch forward with their daggers. "...But you would know me better by my more famous moniker." The attacker then sprints right towards Lance. "Jack the Ripper!" Everyone except Summer is shocked to hear that name. Summer just looks on with a little confusion. Jack stabs forward as he tries to stab Lance, but Lance deflects the attack and counters with a slash from his own sword which Jack jumps over.
"Jack the Ripper?" Summer hobbles away from the fight as she sits next to her partner. Qrow pulls out some bandages and begins to wrap Summer's stab wound. "Who's that?"
Qrow becomes deftly serious as he looks on at the fight going on while he bandages his partner up. "Jack the Ripper is the most infamous serial killer in all of Remnant. In the past five years he has killed over forty people and has never been caught once. People don't even know what Jack looks like and their has never been any evidence found on him other that all his victims being carved up the same way."
Summer's morbid curiosity gets the better of her. "What did he do to them?"
"They say he disembowels his victims and then craves the name 'JACK' into the upper torso. That's how we even know what to call him is due to him giving the population his name." Qrow shivers. "What that guy does is completely vile and he is the worst of the worst when it comes to criminals."
Summer looks on as the two continue to fight. Summer then remember's something and turns her head to Qrow. "We have to bandage up Raven and Taiyang!"
"Already ahead of you." Qrow points to the other side of them as Tai and Raven watch the fight each with bandages on their wounds.
"Thanks partner, I owe you one." Summer sighs in relief as she goes back to watching the fight.
"I'll remember that." Qrow responds before aiming his full attention at the battle currently unfolding.
Jack charges in to deliver a stab right to Lance, but Lance deflects the dagger as he tries to slash at Jack. Jack ducks under the blow and lunges one dagger towards Lance's ribs and Lance barely dodges the attack as the dagger cuts right through his armor and cuts a small hole in the side. Lance slashes his sword downwards on Jack, but Jack jumps away from the slice. However, Lance uses his momentum to swing the blade upwards right back towards Jack. Jack uses his daggers to block the attack as he pushes himself away from the attack. Lance doesn't let Jack land on his feet as he sends a lunge right towards Jack in midair. Jack once again uses his daggers to send himself even higher into the air as he throws a throwing knife at Lance which gets him to jump back to avoid the strike. This lets Jack land on the ground and hide back in the bushes. Lance is completely on his guard as he waits for the serial killer to strike. Lance hears a rustling as another throwing knife is sent in his direction. Lance tries to deflect the knife, but the knife chips the side of his sword as it travels to pierce his armor. Lance ducks as the blade cuts right through his shoulder plate. While dodging Jack runs out of the bushes and prepares both daggers to be used to stab at Lance.
Jack gets close enough to be within Lance's blindspot as he begins to rain a flurry of dagger strikes down on Lance. Lance tries to block but he finds that not only is Jack faster, but that Lance himself is only using one weapon to block. As the assault continues Jack pierces Lance's armor more and more as Lance realizes that Jack is too fast. "Whats the matter Lance? Is wittle ole me to fast for you?" Jack lets out a giggle to himself as he rains down even more strikes as Lance's armor is being shredded. "I should let you know that Gramps is incredibly good at making weapons. He made me these knives which have tiny knives on the end that move extremely fast. What makes them even better is that each one is triple serrated, so all of my attacks can cut through your armor like a tin can."
"Is that so?" Lance churns out. "In that case..." Lance sheds his heavy armor as he wears only his chainmail instead. "I'll just have to shed a few pounds then." Lance dashes directly at Jack as his sword appears to be a blur to the eyes of Team STRQ.
All of them look on with awestruck amazement as Lance's speed becomes monstrous to what it just was a second ago. Lance's strikes begin to blur together as Jack desperately defends from getting attacked from all angles. 'Wh-what the hell?! How did he become so fast?!' Lance doesn't let up as he slashes and stabs away at Jack as Jack begins to feel cuts begin to knick his aura.
"He isn't the strongest swordsman in the world for nothing!" Tai giddily cheers as they watch their Professor.
"You weren't kidding! He's incredible." Raven responds in awe as she watches the fight.
"I've never seen Raven looks so happy." Summer points out.
"She gets that way when she sees a particularly powerful fighter." Qrow responds.
Jack yells in frustration as he begins to get angry. "That's it! Time to get serious." Jack snarls out. Jack throws his cloak to the side to reveal his tight fitting black body suit underneath. At his waist he has a belt which is holding his remaining throwing knives. He also has a few cylinders of various dust as well on his other side. Upon seeing Jack without his cloak on everyone can see Jack's body a lot better. Despite being male Jack's physicality seemed much more feminine. This confused everyone else majorly as Jack sprints in and became even faster than before. Jack now glared up at Lance with an icy cold expression as he became dead serious. Jack's strikes were now much more refined than before. Jack began tagging Lance with his daggers as Lance's aura began to flicker a bunch of times indicating he was being hit. Lance would occasionally tag Jack back, but it was apparent that Jack was definitely faster once more. As Lance was being pushed back Jack laughs at him as Jack begins to become overconfident. "Ha! Not so high and mighty now are you? Why won't you bring out that semblance of yours? Come on show it to me! Show me your Melee Projection Mastery!"
Lance looks down surprised that Jack knows about his semblance, but he chooses to ignore that for now. "I have no need for it against an opponent like you!" Lance grunts out. Lance delivers a ferocious swipe which forces Jack to back off. The two just stand still for a moment to catch their breath as the two stare each other down. "Look here Jackson Erin, I shall display to you something else instead." Jack watches closely as he reaches for some of his throwing knives. Lance brings his sword facing upside down as the tip faces towards the ground. Lance then presses a knob at the bottom of the hilt of the blade as the outer shell of the sword begins to open. The inner golden part of the sword begins to pop out as Lance grabs it with his other hand. The white shell of the old sword then closes and collapses to create another solid white sword. "I shall show you my dual wielding instead." Lance holds the white sword in his right and the golden one in his left as he stares down Jack.
Jack opens with throwing three throwing knives at Lance which he jumps over as he charges Jack. Lance unloads a flurry of swipes at Jack which Jack tries his best to block. Unfortunately Jack is not fast enough as the blows begin to slash away at his aura. With some quick thinking Jack places some gravity dust into his knives as they glow a bright purple. Jack begins to unload stabs on Lance. As Lance tries to block the attacks the gravity dust keeps pushing his arms away which causes Jack to get several strikes in on Lance as Lance's aura begins to flicker a lot again.
'I'm starting to get low on aura. I need to finish this, and fast.' Lance opts to dodge until Jack's daggers slowly drain of gravity dust. Once they stop glowing purple Lance goes on the offensive and slashes and pierces with everything he's got. Jack can't keep up with Lance's superior speed as he feels his entire body get slashed once more.
'Crap! I need to get out of here. I'm going to lose my own aura at this point.' Jack jumps away from Lance as he begins to run towards Team STRQ who had been watching the fight from the sidelines all this time. Jack takes out a few throwing knives and throws them at Team STRQ.
'Attacking wounded students. You truly are the worst, criminal scum.' Lance dashes as quickly as he can as he barely has enough time to parry the knives away. As Lance parry's the knives away both of his swords get major chunks blown through them as they are now even more damaged. 'Looks like Arondight is going to need repairs after this.' Suddenly Lance turns around and no one is there anymore. Lance then turns around to his students as they all share a look of confusion. Lance looks at his students and realizes their hurt. 'When did this happen?' Lance thinks internally. "Who hurt you children?"
The various members of Team STRQ look at each other in confusion before looking back at Lance. "We don't know." Summer answers.
Lance looks at his damaged sword and turns back to look at his armor which is on the ground and with several gaping holes all over it. "How did this happen?" Lance asks himself.
"Do you know what happened?" Qrow asks.
"I... don't know what happened either. From the looks of things we were attacked by someone. But by who?" Lance turns around and scans the area. He finds a few stray throwing knives on the ground and he picks one of the closer knives up for inspection. Upon closer inspection Lance recognizes the build of these knives. Lance turns to his students with a grave expression. "I do not wish to alarm all of you, but it would appear that Jack the Ripper may have just attacked us."
"What? That's a load of bull. Jack hasn't killed in almost a year. How would he have attacked us? I feel like we would at least remember it happening." Raven protests.
"Well these are the signature throwing knives that have been collected from his crime scenes in the past." Lance shows them the blood soaked throwing knives. "However, why wouldn't we be able to remember him? Or at the very least what he looks like?"
Summer has a questioning look on her face as she wants to ask who Jack is. Qrow notices and waves her off. "I'll explain later." He whispers to her.
Lance presses the button on the hilt of the white sword and re-slots the golden sword back in it. Lance then walks around the scene of the fight and picks up any more samples of the knives to give to Ozpin for research later on. Lance then puts his heavy armor back on, and finally picks the body up once more. "We better get going."
When Tai tries to walk a sharp pain shoots through his entire body. "AAgghhkk!" Tai buckles on his feet and just before he falls over Qrow catches him.
"Damn, looks like I'll have to help carry two members of my team today." Qrow sighs as he slings one of Tai's arms over his shoulder.
"Thanks Qrow. Sorry about this." Tai apologizes.
Qrow sighs in irritation. "It's fine. No one else can do it except me." Qrow gives Tai a stern look. "You owe me one Tai."
"I'll be sure to remember." Tai smiles.
Qrow then looks over to his own partner with the slightest of concern. "Will you be ok Summer? That injury doesn't look to good."
Summer begins to look a bit nervous. Summer didn't want Qrow to worry about her since he was already having to help Tai, so Summer lightly played it off despite the pain in her side. "I'll be fine Qrow. No need to worry about me."
"Students we must make haste. The faster we get back to Beacon academy the faster we can get you all treated properly." Lance speaks up as he begins to walk back in the direction of Beacon once more.
The rest begin to slowly follow behind as well. "But what about the mission?" Summer asks.
"Your safety is far more important to me than any mission." Lance responds. "That goes for all of you. If I didn't put all of your groups safety as top priority then I've failed as an instructor."
"I still wonder what happened to our mystery attacker assuming that it truly was Jack." Raven wonders out loud.
As Jack runs through the woods he gets away from Lance as he deactivates his semblance. As Jack takes in a deep breath he looks up to see a bat fly by him as it perks itself onto a nearby tree branch.
"Oh hey Uncle." Jack breathes out as the bat transforms into a person.
The bat suddenly transforms into a well dressed man with a cape. "I am not your Uncle, Jack." He responds in slight irritation.
"But Uncle, I view everyone who works under mother as a part of my family." Jack responds.
"Whatever the case may be, this is the first that I've seen your semblance in action. I must admit erasing your presence does suit a murderer like you quite nicely I'd say." The man comments.
"'Forget Me Now' works like a charm like it always does." Jack gives his 'Uncle' a big smile. "But enough chit chat, there has to be a reason you came to see me. What do I owe the pleasure Uncle?" Jack comically bows to the man who just rolls his eyes.
"For starters you'll need one of these." The man pulls a new black folded up cloak out of his cape and hands it to Jack who quickly slips it on. "And also because the master has called all of us back. She will be waiting for us you know where." The man informs Jack.
Jack's expression suddenly bursts with life and joy as he hears this information. "Mother is calling for us? Oh what joy! What joy! I cannot wait to see my sweet loving mother and to feel her tender and warm embrace." Jack wildly spouts as his 'Uncle' looks on in slight disgust.
"Why must you be such a freak Jackson?" The man asks.
"Do you not like mother?" Jack asks with a colder, more serious expression.
"That has nothing to do with your apparent delusions." The man sighs. "Whatever the case may be, you have been summoned. We will all see you there." The man transforms back into a bat and flies away.
"Oh that meanie." Jack pouts. "He didn't even say goodbye." Jack sighs as a shark-like grin stretches across his face. "Oh mother! I'm coming for you!" Jack makes a mad dash through the woods as he begins to make his way back 'home'. 'I guess I'll also have to thank Gramps for the new weapons. They work like a charm.' Jack internally thinks to himself as he continues to run.
After walking in the forest for about three hours, Lance pulls out his scroll and checks for a signal. 'I've finally got a signal after all this time. Thank goodness.' Lance sighs a sigh of relief. Lance dials up a number for Beacon as the line rings. After two rings someone picks up and Lance begins talking. "Hello Ozpin, it is me... Yes I secured the body... The students aren't doing nearly as well... It seems we were attacked... I mean that we all somehow forgot who attacked us... Yes I do think a semblance was definitely at play here... I may have a hunch who it was, but you're not going to like it... I believe it was Jack the Ripper who attacked us."
Their is a long pause on the other end as the four huntsmen-in-training listened carefully to their Professor's words. "Listen Ozpin, I don't think we should be discussing the specifics of that while are students are so near. The reason I called you was to inform you of the missions completion and to request transportation... I'll need two vehicles sent. One to cart off the body back to you, and another to transport these students to the hospital. I wasn't kidding about these children being seriously wounded from the attack... I know..." Lance's free hand tightens into a balled up fist as the metal of his gauntlet creaks under the force he's exerting. "Some of their injuries are light, however I feel that two of our students are going to need surgery... Thank you Ozpin. You are truly a kind and just man... Farewell." Lance hangs up his scroll as he turns to face his students.
Summer is the first to ask. "Were you telling the Headmaster of our mission?"
"That is correct Miss Rose. I've requested that two vehicles be sent." Lance informs her.
"Why didn't you do that sooner?" Raven asks in annoyance.
"Because there was no signal before this point." Lance stoically responds. "The vehicles should be here within the next thirty minutes. You may all rest for now." Lance tells them.
"I can finally take a load off." Qrow tiredly lets out. Qrow plops Tai on the ground as he goes over to rest against a tree.
"Thanks Qrow, could've put me somewhere more comfortable." Tai blankly groaned.
"Have Raven help you. I've been carting your ass around for three hours." Qrow responds as he closes his eyes.
Tai looks over to his partner. "Raven... a little help?"
Raven sighs as she walks up behind Tai and slowly drags him over to a rock. "There, no more complaining." Raven states.
"Yes Ma'am!" Tai responds as he rests.
Raven opts to just stand around and wait instead. Summer goes over and sits next to Qrow. Qrow opens an eye to look over to his partner. "What are you doing here Summer?"
"Just thought you needed company is all." Summer replies as she sits next to her partner with her eyes closed and simply enjoys the rays of the sun on her face.
"Fine by me. As long as you don't make any noise." Qrow responds as he closes his eyes once more.
"Then we'll have no problems then." Summer lightly smiles. With that no one else says anything else as they all are finally given a brief respite.
Half an hour later two vehicles pulled up. One looked like a hospital van while the other looked like a heavily armored truck. Some people in black suits came out of the armored truck and walked over to Lance. "Do you have the body?" One of them asked Lance.
Lance lifts up the wrapped body and hands it to them. "Here it is."
The other suited person takes the body. "Excellent work Professor Lot. Your contributions are always appreciated."
"Don't thank me. Thank them." Lance points to his students behind him.
The suited person looks behind Lance at the students before giving them a brief nod of acknowledgement before shifting their attention back to Lance. "Will you be accompanying us back to Beacon?"
Lance looks between the suited person and his students and shakes his head. "No. I shall stay with my students for the time being."
"Very well. In that case I bid you a good day." The two suited people load the body up and begin to drive away. As Lance tuns around he sees his students getting into the hospital van as Lance follows up to join them. As Lance enters the van he sees Summer and Qrow sitting next to each other on one side and Raven and Tai sitting next to each other on the other side. Lance sits on Summer and Qrow's side as the van begins to drive back to Vale.

Authors Notes: Another chapter done! We got to see a glimpse at the first of quite a few human enemies in this fic. This chapter was interesting to write as always. How I write the story from this point will be interesting. I'm also now realizing the most difficult part about writing this story: The connective tissue. *-_- Oh well, I'll just have to brainstorm it and figure out how to do this. I've got ideas for major plot events, but I've got no idea how I'm going to connect all of them. Anyways thats enough rambling, what did you think of the chapter?
