Now this may seem petty of me to do in some ways, But I would like to give a quick notable mention, Thehuntsman is who got me into writing fanfics and was even who introduced me to this website, So I would like to give a suggestion, Go read Howling at the moon by the huntsman, It's a good read and has longer chapters as well as a closer to canon storyline, Go show some love and enjoy. ^^

The cold morning dew painted the leaves with a speckled frost and the cathedral had a chill in the atmosphere, Monsters that attacked the night prior made travel dangerous and a member of Izuku's team was heavily injured during combat, Rose started to create an Arm for the Injured teammate but got stuck as the shell was done but a way to control it wasn't very easy.

Rose spent several days and nights making the arm but it wasn't getting progress. She entered an extremely low area of self esteem and left the shell in the garden out of misery. Ray found it and took it to his quarters. Ray picked up where Rose left off as he had an adept hand at tech, He gathered Gold, Copper and Steel and threw even amounts in the core and heated it up, When it solidified a light blue metal alloy was there, an odd case to be sure, It was maluable But durable, Conductive but resistant, It seemed to be a perfect wire, And it was. Ray was able to use this light blue wiring to finish the arm in time, He hid the project and when Rose went back to the garden where she left it she panicked, Searching every part of the cathedral and couldn't find it until Ray walked out of his room and a very familiar mechanical hand. "Thanks sis"

With Ray back in the fight, The five were now ready to start their Artifact hunt.

"Hey Tsu, Are you as happy as you were a few days ago?" Izuku asked, trying to be cheerful. Tsu seemed off-put as if she felt something bad. Izuku hugged Asui with reassurance as Ray and Rose stayed close and Tenko was studying his notes.

After a few hours, The five made it to the Marsh but something was most definitely not right, Bodies in the water, Leech infested corpses and half destroyed homes. Asui fell to her knees in disbelief. She started to cry before a person crawled out of the water, It was the elder. "Ey… Tsu… You left yer… Firepot on…" The elder chuckled before his body went still.

Asui cried even more. She'd Lost her home and wasn't even able to protect them because of her curiosity. She ran off to the north of the Marsh, Running fast, Ray ran to keep up and Tenko didn't seem to notice anything until Izuku tapped Tenko's shoulder. Izuku, Rose and Tenko were left at the carnage of the Village and Ray and Asui were running north.

"Let's search the village for survivors, Rose, You take 10 to 2, I'll take 2 to 6, Tenko, You take 6 to 10, Got it?" Izuku said, trying to keep order. Rose Nodded and Tenko Nodded slowly.

Asui was running out of the Marsh into a thick woodland area with Ray tagging close behind before a howling was heard, a Pack of canine quirked Survivors armed to the teeth pounced Asui but didn't notice Ray. "Well Well Well boys!, Lookee what we got here" The one pinning Asui said with a Devilish Snarl. "Looks like frog legs are on the menu" The one added with the draw of a bone knife, He lifted it high before his arm was burnt away in a flash as one of the pack members was torn in half and the third was critically injured as both legs were gone. "WHAT THE HELL?!" the leader said now enraged by his missing limb. "Sorry, Had to Diss-Arm you for threatening my Friend, Now unless you want to be Raptor Feed, I suggest you run while you still can, Unfortunately can't say the same for your buddies." Ray said standing with his core glowing. Asui had passed out from the heat and the leader fled. Ray quickly ran over and carried Tsu back to the marsh and got her water.

As Izuku made it back to the teepee in the center with the Rose, Ray got back with an unconscious Asui.

"What happened Ray?!" Rose said, Taking Asui. "Vicious pack had a taste for Frog and didn't see me, Cost them a bit more than an arm and a leg." Ray chuckled as his core was cooling down. "Of course, We need to pile information and-" Rose said before being cut off by Tenko yelling. "SOMEONE'S ALIVE OVER HERE!"

Izuku and Ray ran over and Rose carried Asui. When they arrived they found a little girl with small flowers in her hair. "Wh-Where is mama?" the little girl asked as she turned her head as she had pure white eyes. Rose with a heavy heart spoke up "M-Mama isn't going to be back for… a while, Could I take care of you until she gets back?" The little girl seemed hesitant at first but then walked around with her arms out, Rose handed Asui to Ray then picked up the little girl. "My name is Rose, What is yours?" Rose asked the little girl. "My name is Evelyn… c-can I call you mama?" Evelyn asked, hugging Rose. Rose froze and a tear rolled down her cheek. "Yes Evelyn, You can call me… mama" Rose said happily and cried tears of joy hugging Evelyn.

The 5, Now with an addition, Make their way back to the cathedral, Luckily no monsters were in sight and Lady Shimura was able to help Rose be a Mother to Evelyn. Evelyn was very happy in the cathedral and often spent time in the garden, Rose watched Evelyn closely and began getting worse and worse sleep. Until eventually Rose passed out watching Evelyn and Ray was nearby, He took Rose to bed and sang Evelyn a lullaby. As days went by, Izuku began to grow restless as the monster attacks became worse since the first attack and the team hadn't recovered a single Artifact. Until James showed up to the Cathedral by himself. "I heard you were lacking artifacts, Boris did me a favor and tracked you, He got back to me and told me what you needed. I went and got most of the Artifacts for you, But one artifact is missing for each guardian and I know where each are, A nomu in the Marsh, Underground, has the final artifact for the Big spider, In the Taiga there is a nomu in a cave that holds the final artifact for the big ape and I hold the last dragon artifact, but I'm not going to just give you the dragon artifact until you've proven you can kill both the monkey and the spider" James said to Izuku.

Izuku nodded, "thank you James, I know I'm in no place to ask this but… could you help us track down and kill the final two nomu?" Izuki askes.

James smiled and opened his mouth. "No"

Izuku's face went into shock and he started to panic. "Hey Hey, Calm down ya veggie, I'll help ya but not because of you. Because of her" James said as he pointed to Evelyn who was trying to sneak but she couldn't see where she was.

Izuku smiled, "thank you."
