Chapter 6: Arriving at Animal Kingdom
Hey everyone I'm back with a new chapter. I'm sorry about the wait but I was caught up in my other stories. I hope you like what I have planned. Please Review and Enjoy.
On the underground train, everyone was eagerly awaiting their arrival at Animal Kingdom and needless to say everyone was nervous.
Emerging from the back rooms, Ragnar walks out in his Specialist outfit.
"Well at least I'm all geared up." Ragnar said sitting down.
"That's seriously your school uniform?" Alya asks.
"Yep, Red Fountain standard." Ragnar nods when Jaden, Barbara and Diana walk out behind him in their super suits.
"So uh before we go into battle what should we do first leader?" Jaden asks holding his mask.
"Well, maybe we should try and get more familiar with each other. What're all your stories?" Roxas asks.
"Well, you're our leader. How about you start." Ryou said.
"I guess that's only fair." Roxas said as they all looked at him. "Well, Apple, Xion and I come from a world called Ever After High where all the famous fairy tales come from. Where every student wants to find their happily ever after."
"Wait, you mean like Cinderella and Snow White?" Bloom asks.
"Yep, I'm Snow White's daughter." Apple said.
"Wow." Will said surprised.
"Anyway, Xion and I are keyblade wielders. Warriors chosen by the Keyblade, one of the most powerful weapons in the world and we travel to other worlds helping people and stopping the spread of darkness from conquering them." Roxas starts.
"They come in the form of horrible creatures called Heartless and they are drawn to the darkness in people's hearts. We and the rest our team travel to these worlds to stop and seal the keyholes so they can't come back." Xion said.
"While also trying to fight off Maleficent and Xehnaort." Apple said.
"Okay that's pretty intense." Neo said.
"What about you?" Apple asks looking to him, Will and Rayla.
"Well our story starts in a world called Meridian where an evil tyrant named Phobos rules over it and makes everyone there completely miserable. In order to fight him, me and four of my close friends were chosen to be the new Guardians but along the way we ended stumbling upon a second world. Asgard where these guys come from." Will said.
"I was found in an ally by Thor Odinson, the god of Thunder who took me in and raised me as his son. I grew up with Rayla and a few other warriors but it wasn't until the day that was supposed to be my father's coronation that things went wrong. My Uncle Loki snuck in Frost Giants and interrupted the ceremony, then when my father tried to attack them he almost started a war and he and I banished to earth temporarily which is how we ended up meeting Will and her friends." Neo explains.
"I have a Loki in my world too, he sounds just like yours." Rias said.
"Well what's your world like?" Rayla asks as they looked at Rias and Seth.
"In our world, there are three factions among humans. Devils, Angels and Fallen Angels. I come from the House of Gremory a well known devil family." Rias said.
"Wow, most devils we've seen are a lot uglier." Jaden said.
"So which faction are you?" Drake asks.
"Neither, I'm a human. I come from the Vongola House, a family of very unique humans who have mastery of the Dying Will Flames, a very powerful and unique type of fire." Seth explains.
"Like me and Ragnar. We use fire too." Bloom said.
"Maybe but mine is much different, it has unique powers. Even though I was a human I managed to get Rias as my fiancé." Seth said.
"Wow, engaged already?" Apple asks.
"Seth and I have a very interesting past, filled with lots of obstacles. And because of our high status we have make to sure any strays or corrupt people from the factions don't get their way." Rias said.
"I can respect that." Diana said.
"What about you three?" Seth asks looking to Jaden, Barbara and Diana.
"Well we go to a school called Superhero High where we and tons of other stundets learn to be the new heroes of tomorrow while helping save the day in between classes. And we have classmates from all over the galaxy each one with powers and abilities that makes us unique." Jaden said.
"We each have our own struggles but when our world was facing an alien invasion, we all assembled with the help others and we became our own team, the Avengers." Diana explains.
"Whoa that's a pretty cool name." Ryou said.
"Yeah I wish our team had a cool name like that. We just got stuck with the same one from the ones before us." Zarya said.
"Well what's your team all about?" Barbara asks as they look towards Ryou and Zarya.
"Our story begins with an evil woman named Necrafa. A thousand years ago she tried to take over the entire cosmoverse and destroy everything that got in her way. Until one day a group of Heroes called the Mysticons allied with a man named Lord Casterwill and his seekers. Together they were able to defeat Necrafa and bring peace back to the realm, or so we thought. Or so we thought. As it turns out her followers were hiding in secret for a thousand years so they could strike back. When they did, me, our friends, Piper, Arkayna and Em were chosen to be the new Mysticons while Ryou was recruited into the Seekers." Zarya explains.
"Needless to say we had a lot to live up to, but when Necrafa came back everyone especially me wasn't prepared for her." Ryou said.
"Why's that?" Xion asks.
"Because Necrafa is Ryou's mother." Zarya declares shocking them.
"The most evil woman in your world is mom?" Sunset gasps.
"Just like with Raven." Apple cringed.
"Yeah obviously I wasn't gonna follow in her footsteps." Ryou said.
"And people call us Monsters?" Frankie cringed.
"Speaking of what's the deal with you three?" Zarya asks as they looked at Draculara, Frankie and Drake.
"Well the three of us come from a school called Monster High. A long time ago, humans drove Monsters into hiding in what we call the Great Fright Flight. Until just recently when I was sneaking out of my family mansion, I met Drake." Draculaura gestures. "It was then that I realized things were different. With Drake's help we found Frankie and our friends Cleo and Lagoona. Together we search the world to help monsters come out of the dark and learn to live among humans."
"Wait, if you're a human how can change into the fire creature?" Seth asks.
"Because of this." Drake said holding up his watch. "It's called the Omnitrix and it gives me the power to turn into different aliens, but since people assume they're monsters I use it to help Monsters, people and everything else I can."
"That's pretty cool taking it upon yourself to help people like that. It's a big responsibility looking out for so many people." Luke said.
"What do you guys do?" Frankie asks as they looked to Luke and Sunset.
"Well I come from a world called Slugterra. It's a world that's 100 miles beneath the surface of the earth where Slugs are the key to everything and as a Shane it's been my family's responsibility to keep the peace in Slugterra protecting the people and the slugs." Luke said holding up Burpy. "However one day something escaped to the surface and my father sent me to go and stop it. It was there I met Sunset and her friends."
"I came to Luke's world from a place called Equestria, a world filled with magic and when I came over, I brought some of that magic with me. When Equestrian Magic ended up mixing with Slugterra power things got…messy." Sunset cringed.
"So, us, our friends all our slugs formed a little group to help counter the dangers from both our worlds and keep everyone safe." Luke explains.
"So you guys are kind of like heroes of your own town. That's cool." Sam said.
"Very noble." Faang agrees.
"Your turn." Will said as they looked to Sam, Alya, Faang and Trixx.
"Well my story starts with this little guy, Faang and Trixx are called kwamis who live in these objects called Miraculous which take the form of very accessories." Sam said as he held up his bracelet and Alya showed her necklace. "Me and my allies Ladybug, Cat Noir and sometimes Alya protect the city of Paris from Hawk Moth who uses his Miraculous for evil and turns people into monsters using akumas."
"That sounds messy." Rayla cringed.
"Wait why are you only part-time?" Roxas asks looking to Alya.
"It's dangerous to have too many people with Miraculous out at a time so Sam and I do a little rental period where once a week I'm able to be Rena Rouge and help them." Alya said.
"I guess that just leaves you guys." Drake said as they looked to Bloom, Ragnar and Toothless.
"Well Ragnar and I come from the same world but we go to different schools. He goes to Red Fountain, the Specialists and I go to Alfea, the school for fairies. Our schools are different but both my team the Winx and his Specialists have something in common, a common enemy named the Trix. My team has the magic." Bloom said.
"And my team has the fighting skills and dragons, like Toothless." Ragnar said petting his head. "Truth is I wouldn't even be helping them if it weren't for this guy. I found Toothless one night when he crashed into a lake. After earning his trust, I learned that he was the alpha of tons of dragons so while I help him get his dragons back he helps me become stronger. It's thanks to him my life is completely different. Like I'm a better person."
"Wow, I think I'm starting to see why we were all picked. We all may be very different but all go out of our way to help people. We may not have much experience but hopefully we can figure out how to do this." Roxas said.
"Me too." Ryou said.
"Attention passengers this your handsome pilot Eugene speaking. We are arriving at Animal Kingdom, please gather your weapons, put away your stuff and pray to whatever personal god you walk out of this alive." Eugene said when they heard a punch over the PA. "Ow!"
"Shut up." The other princes said.
"Well that mildly entertaining." Rias said.
"I see this version of him isn't much different." Roxas whispers to Apple.
"Nope." Apple said.
Slowly making their way out, Dracularua turned into a bat and flew ahead to have a look.
"Alright, here's a few maps of Animal Kingdom maybe they'll help a little." Aladdin said giving some a brochure.
"Thanks Aladdin." Roxas said.
"We'll be here guarding the train for you guys. Good luck." Shang said.
"Thanks." All of them nod as they walked down the path to see Draculaura peeking through an opening.
"Guys we have trouble." Draculaura whispers.
Gesturing to come over they look through the small opening and see three guards at the front.
"We gotta sneak past them and get in." Wonder Woman said.
"But if they see us charging in, they'll alert the others who are inside." Zarya said.
Pausing Rayla looks to Neo.
"Ooh Neo let's do Get Help." Rayla said.
"What?" Neo said looking to her.
"Get Help." Rayla repeats.
"No." Neo said almost immediately.
"What's get help?" Drake asks.
"Come on, you love it." Rayla said.
"I hate it." Neo said.
"It's great, it works every time." Rayla said.
"Do it." Will said
"It's humiliating." Neo whines.
"What are you talking about?" Xion asks.
"Do you have a better plan?" Rayla asks.
"No." Neo said.
"We're doing it." Rayla said.
"We are not doing Get Help." Neo said.
"Just do Get Help!" Everyone said causing Neo to groan.
As the guards were looking around the gate swings open revealing Rayla holding Neo who was dangling from her like he was barely alive.
"Get help! Get Help!" Rayla yells getting their attention. "Please! My boyfriend is dying! Get Help! Help him!" As they got close, Rayla threw Neo causing the three guards to hit the ground knocking them out. "Aw I love that move." Rayla smiles as Neo gets up.
"Ugh still hate it. It's humiliating." Neo groans.
"Not for me it's not." Rayla chuckles and instantly the rest of the team came out laughing.
"Oh my god that was the best move ever." Spider-Man laughs.
"I wanna use that on Arkayna." Zayra laughs.
"It works every time." Will giggles.
"Are you guys done?" Neo asks.
"One minute, please." Sunset laughs as they all got it out of their systems.
"Okay that's enough. We're here what do we do now?" Neo asks annoyed by this.
"We need to sneak in and get the power for this place up and running." Roxas said.
"I'll go. Batgirl you want to help?" Frankie said.
"Sure thing." Batgirl said.
"I can help sneak you in. I'm great at breaking into places." Zarya said as Choko chirps in agreement.
"Xion you go give them a hand." Apple said as Xion nods in agreement.
"I'll come to incase we run into trouble." Wonder Woman said.
"Remember don't do anything crazy. We need to get in first." Ryou said.
Nodding the five of them ran to the control room.
In a small building covered in vines under a large tree, the heroes approached it.
"This is weird, it's too quiet." Zarya said.
"Yeah compared to the Magic Kingdom it's a little different." Rayla said.
"Well this place is the Animal Kingdom, maybe they just caged up all the animals." Frankie said when Choko's ears perked up.
Looking up at the tree, Choko sees a pair of eyes in it.
Chirping loudly Choko points getting their attention.
"What is it Choko?" Zarya asks when leaping out of the tree, Sabor the leopard roars swinging her claws at them.
"Look out!" Drawing her shield, Wonder Woman blocks Sabor's swipe as she pushes back.
"Found the animals." Batgirl gulps when a Replica Princess and Replica Tactician appeared with a rhino walking on two legs and a battle axe in its hand walked in behind them.
"Batgirl, you and Frankie into that control room." Xion said summoning her keyblade.
"And fast." Rayla said drawing her swords.
"You go help too Choko." Zarya said readying her bow.
Chirping in agreement Choko leaps onto Frankie's shoulder.
"On my signal." Charging in Wonder Woman throws her shield forcing the replicas and rhino to dodge allowing Xion and Frankie to run past them.
As the Replica Tactician tried to follow Zarya swings in and knocks it to the ground.
"I know every move the real Ryou makes. You're going down." Zarya said as the Replica summoned a willblade.
As the rhino swings its axe down, Xion dodges it and swings her keyblade knocking it back.
"You're from Sherwood Forest. I remember when Roxas and the team went there." Xion recalls.
Shaking off the attack the rhino charges in delivering fierce powerful strikes forcing Xion to dodge as explosions went off nearby.
As Apple's replica attacked her, Rayla dodges the Replica Princess fired multiple magical blasts at her.
"Well I'm never underestimating that Apple girl again." Rayla said as the Replica Princess swings her staff forcing Rayla to block.
Pushing back Rayla delivers a fierce kick to the face making it stumble back.
Swinging her swords, Rayla goes on the attack making the Replica Princess crash into some vines.
Snarling Sabor attacks Wonder Woman with her sharp claws.
Holding up her silver bands, Wonder Woman uses them to block the slash attacks.
Roaring Sabor leaps at her but Wonder Woman dodges and whacks Sabor with her shield.
"You fight a lot like Cheetah." Wonder Woman said as Sabor circled her. "Too bad she never beat me." Reaching to her hip Diana readies a sword.
Charging in Sabor leaps in for a slash but Diana swings her sword knocking Sabor to the ground.
Getting up Sabor notices blood dripping down her.
Growling she turns to Wonder Woman who glares her down.
As they arrive at the Control Room, Batgirl breaks it open allowing her, Frankie and Choko to run in.
"Alright get a feel for this Frankie, look for anything suspicious. Prisoners. Bad guys, things of danger or interest." Batgirl said as both got to work on the computer.
"Choko keep watch for us." Frankie said as Choko salutes before leaping off and looking to the entrance.
Typing furiously on the keyboard Batgirl sees multiple images of people and animals in cages.
"Hostages, and a good amount of them." Batgirl said not noticing a Replica Vampire in Bat form fly in before turning back to normal revealing its normal form.
Gasping Choko leaps up and tackles the Replica grabbing its face making it fall to the ground alerting them.
Turning around Batgirl and Frankie see the Replica struggle to rip Choko off its face but the little foz was holding on tight.
Finally ripping Choko off, the Replica Vampire looks to see Batgirl punch it in the face knocking it to the ground.
"Thanks for looking out for us." Batgirl smiles as Choko chirps happily. "Frankie I'll deal with this one you keep working get those doors open."
"On it." Frankie said as typing on it quickly.
At the front, the others were waiting.
"Should we go after them?" Seth asks.
"No, if too many of us are out in the open we'll draw attention. They can't know we're here yet." Ryou said.
"Well you're quite the strategist." Silver Claw said.
"My title is Mysticon Tactician, strategies are my thing. Trust me I bet those gates will be open soon." Ryou said when suddenly the locks on the gate opened allowing them to enter.
"Well, I'm convinced." Sunset said impressed.
"Did you know that was gonna happen when you said it?" Ragnar asks.
"No, that was just pure luck." Ryou said.
"Let's you continue to make good strategies." Roxas said.
Back by the control room, Wonder Woman leaps up as Sabor chases after her swinging her claws ready to slice her in half. Using her shield and bracers Wonder Woman blocks them all before whacking Sabor back as she jumps back onto a high branch.
Snarling Sabor gets up and corners Wonder Woman thinking this was hers but when Sabor lunges Wonder Woman flies off causing Sabor to leap overboard and crash to the ground hard.
"What's a matter? Never fought someone who could fly before?" Wonder Woman yells flying in.
Acting quickly, Sabor leaps up and tackles Wonder Woman to the ground.
Using her sword, Wonder Woman keeps the vicious leopard back as it tired to bite and claw towards her.
Using her legs, Wonder Woman pushes Sabor off her allowing her to get up.
Roaring Sabor charges in but Wonder Woman charge sin and swings her sword impaling Sabor in the chest causing to fall to the ground.
Panting heavily, Wonder Woman looks to Sabor only to see darkness surround it before Sabor disappeared.
"Huh?" Wonder Woman said not expecting this.
In the other battles things were getting intense, as the Replica Princess fired a Blizzaga it knocks Rayla to the ground and knocks one of her swords out of her hands.
Looking up Rayla sees the Replica Princess blast an Aeroga sending her crashing into the vines knocking some down.
Getting an idea, Rayla throws a vine at the Replica yanking her scepter out of her hands.
"Oh you want your weapon back? Well here you go!" Swinging it Rayla whacks the Replica with its own staff before slashing it with her sword destroying it.
Swinging her bow, Zarya clashes with the Replica Tactician as he fires a Boltflare at her.
"Touchram!" Zarya said making a barrier around her to block it. "Guess I need to pull out the big guns, for this. Join the fight, Wolf Knight!" Zarya declares pulling out an amulet and as it glowed a large wolf creature in armor appeared.
As the Replica Tactician, blocks Wolf Knight's attacks Zarya fires an arrow up at the tree above them allowing her to swing in and deliver a double kick into the Replica.
Stumbling back the Replica tried to recover but Wolf Knight smashes it into the ground destroying it.
"No way my Ryou would ever fall for a move like that." Zarya smirks.
As the Rhino tries to land a hit, Xion dodges it and strikes it multiple times.
"Over here!" Xion yells as the Rhino charges in but at the last second Xion jumps out of the way causing it to crash into the wall.
"Firaga Burst!" Firing multiple fireballs they pelt the rhino making it explode into darkness.
Panting heavily, Xion looks to see Wonder Woman, Rayla and Zarya arrive.
"This is a lot harder than Disney Springs." Zarya admits.
Inside Batgirl was blocking the Replica Vampire's kicks and punches before it flipped over and kicked her against the railing.
Turning around, Frankie sees the Replica Vampire leap at Batgirl but at the last seconds she fires the grapple gun tying it up and crashing down.
"Hey Frankie, how about a supercharge?" Batgirl asks as her stun knuckles crackled.
Grinning Frankie puts Batgirl's hand to her neck bolts allowing her to hold all the electricity.
As it tried to get up Frankie makes tons of electricity form in her hands before she zapped the Replica Vampire multiple times destroying it creating a bright light.
"Phew that was close." Frankie said.
"Tell me about it, you get the doors open?" Batgirl asks.
"Oh yeah and I think I found out how we take this park back." Frankie said brings up an image with 5 glowing lights on it causing her eyes to widen.
"Whoa, what is that?" Batgirl asks.
"We gotta tell the others." Frankie said as they ran out.
At the main entrance, the others look to see Wonder Woman, Zarya, Choko, Rayla, Frankie, Xion and Batgirl meet up with them.
"What happened to you guys?" Seth asks.
"Turns out a few of the animals here are on the bad side." Batgirl said.
"I just tangled with a very angry leopard." Wonder Woman said.
"So what do we do now?" Luke asks.
"About that, when I was hacking into the server I noticed 5 powerful energy signals in this park." Frankie said grabbing a map. "They were, in each of these zones." Frankie said circling an area in the Pandora, Asia, Africa, Discovery Island and Dinoland areas.
"I got a feeling that's where we all need to go." Roxas said.
"Well we better brace ourselves, we're not dealing with just replica copies or footsoldiers. We actually some dangerous enemies in this place." Batgirl warns.
Mentally preparing themselves all of them enter Animal Kingdom ready for whatever challenges they'll face.
