Shinichi lay down on his bed. He just got home from the Miyano's residence. He can't stopped smiling while wondering his encounter with the woman of his dream. That's what he called her in his mind. He never admired any other girls aside from Shiho. For him, she was the one made for him.
The door of his room suddenly opened. He gets ups and turn to look at his Mother.
"Mom?!"
"You didn't tell me you just got home!" Yukiko complained.
"Sorry Mom, I jus—"
"I know where you have been. You visited your future wifey." Yukiko smirked and gives her son a teasing look.
Shinichi's cheeks are turning red like tomato. Yukiko sit down next to her Son.
"How's it?" She excitedly asked.
"She's feeling better and recovering now."
"What did you two talk about?"
"Nothing."
"Huh? Did you mean you didn't have much time with her alone?"
"Yeah. But it's alright atleast now I saw her seems healthy and very alive unlike when I was secretly visiting her at the hospital looking lifeless."
"Hey Shin chan! Now that she's awake you must make a move! I heard she lost some of her memories?"
"Well she did. But I don't think a part of her memories with Higo is forgotten. You know how much she likes him..."
"STUPID!" Yukiko strike his the back of his head hard using her right hand.
Shincihi touched the back of his head and met his Mother's stare.
"I didn't raised you to be a hopeless romantic Shin chan! She just like that soccer player dude but it doesn't mean she needed to end up with him! If you really wanted to be with her you should pursue her! Don't be afraid or you'll regret forever! Do you understand?"
He nods.
Days passed...
Shinichi is staying and chilling on their living room when their telephone starts ringing. He stand up to answer the call.
"Good Morning! Kudo's resident! This is Shinichi... to whom am I speaking?" He asked politely.
He hates answering the telephone calls because his Dad always tells him to be polite and gives him a scripted lines when answering calls because His Dad only using the telephone for business. A familiar giggled from the other line can be heard. Shinichi suddenly smiled hearing it.
"You're too formal! It's so funny!" Shiho said.
"Well you know how serious my Dad was when it comes answering telephone calls right?" He chuckled.
"Yeah... yeah..."
"So?"
"Can we meet at the coffee shop today?"
"Oh? Ok!"
"Thanks I'll see you and please bring your laptop too! And I'll text you the address."
Shiho ended the call. He didn't waste any time as soon as he put back the telephone on the table he rushed to take a bath, he picked the best clothes he got and wear his expensive perfume.
'This is the first time she asked me to go at the coffee shop...' he can't stop smiling.
He gets his laptop and said goodbye to his Mother and Yukiko is happy that her Son is finally going on a date with his Dream girl.
Shinichi rides a cab and luckily his Mom gives him an extra money because she's super happy about his announcement. It only takes 10 minutes of drive and Shinichi finally arrived at the coffee shop Shiho texted. He entered the coffee shop and there's a fee customer. The relaxing music is playing on the background and Shinichi finds her sitting in the corner. He walk towards her and sit acrossed her. She's just wearing a simple dress but she's effortlessly looking gorgeous with her hair down.
"Thanks for coming. I already order our drinks and cakes all we have to do is to wait." Shiho smiled.
Shinichi smiled back.
'Why is she smiling? Did she even know it affects me? Her smile is the most beautiful smile I've ever seen in my entire existence.' His thoughts.
Shinichi started imagining life in the future with her. Shiho being a good wife to him, taking care of him and carrying their first child. Shinichi felt lost with Shiho's smiled.
"SHINICHI!" She calls him out loud.
Shinichi shake his head and she caught his attention.
"I'm here explaining things you know but it seems you're too busy day dreaming." Shiho complained.
Shinichi strach his head.
"Sorry." He apologized.
"Anyway..." Shiho hand over her phone to Shinichi.
Shinichi looks at her phone and then looks at her.
"You know how to crack password right." She smiled.
He looks at her blankly.
"Please! I don't remember my password at all and I wanted to use my phone." She looks at him with a puppy eyes.
Shinichi finds her cute with her puppy eyes but if he helped her to crack her password she'll end up contacting Higo.
"No." He looks away.
She roll her eyes.
"FINE." She stand up and was about to walk away when Shinichi looks at her and panicked.
"W-w-waiit! I'm just kidding!" He laughs nervously.
She returned back to her seat and Shinichi sighed. He turn on his laptop and connect her phone to his device. He opened an application where you can crack the password but it wasn't easy to guest the right password it will take time.
Their orders are served on the table and they started eating while Shinichi is busy with his task.
'Why when it comes to you I can't actually say no?' He asked himself.
After 30 minutes Shinichi finally found the perfect codes. He wrote down the password on the note and pass it to Shiho.
"Here." He said.
Shiho takes the note and see what's written;

Shiho looks at the numbers.
'It seems familiar... oh now I know!' her thoughts.
She looks at Shinichi.
"Thanks Bestie you're the best!" She smiled at him again.
Shinichi suddenly feels sad when she calls him bestie.
'So there's no chance at all? I'm just a bestie?' He looks at her.
They went out of the coffee shop and the sky is turning dark.
"Let me walk you home." He offered.
"Alright."
The two of them started walking in the right direction. The night wind is colder than ever but this moment with Shiho feels right to Shinichi. He's happy when she's around him and the world feels right whenever she's near him.
"Hey you coming back to school again?" He asked breaking the silent.
"Hm? Yeah. I'm ok now and there's no excuse not attend school. Besides I missed so much school works because I was sleeping the last 6 months."
"You can always borrow my notes if you need a notes." He instantly offered.
"Thanks but Ayumi visited me earlier in the morning and brought her notes with her."
"Ohhh..." he sounds disappointed.
"But I appreciate your generosity."
Shinichi's cheeks flushed fortunate for him it was dark outside that Shiho didn't noticed it. The Shiho next to him is very sweet towards him. He likes this Shiho's version. They stopped at the Miyano's resident.
"Good Night Shi." He smiled.
"Good night too Shin." She gives him a sweet smiled.
He watched her enter inside their house to make sure she's home safely before calling for a cab and went home.
Shinichi went straight to his room and lay down on his bed. His phone vibrates and gets it from his pocket.

He sit down properly on his bed and opened the messaging app.
'Hey Shin thanks again for your time and cracking the password for my phone... I enjoyed our friendly date even I'm the one who paid the foods and drinks lol jk! See ya. ;)
Night '
He smiled after reading her message. He types...
'Thanks too for the treatment! Next time I'm the one who'll treat you to our friendly date. :'
He lay down again on bed wearing his smile.
