Mito was counting down the days of her last year in the academy ready to finally be a Genin. She was the second best in her class as she didnt have very good book smarts but enough to still be third best in that category only surpassed by Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha. In Tai-jutsu she was second to Sasuke but in Nin, and Fuinjutsu she was unmatched with her staggering large chakra reserves and her natural ability in sealing being related to the Uzumaki clan. She was the top Kuniochi of her class and Sasuke Uchiha was the top Shinobi only beating her in Tai Jutsu and Grades. She didn't like to count Gen-Jutsu as it was a sore spot for her being able to only cast the most powerful of gen jutsu's.
Sasuke this Sasuke that though Mito thinking about all the fangirls that Sasuke had. I can't believe dad let them in the program stating they will unlock their potential in the near future very unlikely. Though Mito snorting,
"Mito a month till you graduate, right sweetie?" asked Kushina.
"Yep another month of boredom I just can't wait for the test and to start my first missions." said Mito before she felt a chill through her spine when first missions appeared.
"I'm sure you will enjoy your first mission." said Kushina with an evil glint in her eyes.
"I'm very sure," said Tsunade, walking into the room with a knowing look eyeing down Kushina.
"Allllllllllright." said Mito not being very trust worthy of them.
Graduation:
The streets were bustling as the clan heirs and their classmates made their way to the academy awaiting the results of their tests as graduating clan heirs were a very big deal and seeing as the heir to three of konoha's major clans was one person while the second Uchiha heir and the first Hyuga heir were also graduating. Not to mention the Nara, Yamanaka, and Akimichi among others. (And No I didn't forget about Kiba or Shino. Kiba is just not the first heir and the Inuzuka isn't a very powerful clan so I just did not mention him. And Also Shino he's just so quiet I'm trying to make this realistic so I doubt the civilians even remember the Aburame lol.) To be quite honest high hopes were placed upon this class to be the next generation of Ninja some rumoring they could even be the next generation of the Sannin. Though most of those are far fetched idea as the Sannin are one of the few teams that has all members being ranked S. The 4th Hokage's own team could possibly bear that moniker in time but as they were right know none of them were S rank shinobi other than for the 4th himself.
"Ready for the exam?" asked Ino to Mito as they walked towards the academy.
"You can bet i'm ready to finally be over with this and get onto the missions." stated Mito.
"Same I bet we are going to go on the best missions like saving a prince that will fall in love with us." said Ino with a dreamy sigh.
"We can only hope for the best." said Mito with a sigh before walking into the classroom.
As the students waited for Iruka they were starting to get anxiety. Conjuring up different theories of the test and over exaggerating to what they thought would be on the test.
"This test will be easy, side branch members did pass it after all." said Hinata with the usual Hyuga cockiness and a stick up their ass.
"Alright class, settle down." said Iruka walking into the room. Noticing he didn't get their attention got him a little mad. "I SAID SHUT UP AND GET INTO YOUR SEATS IF YOUR A SHINOBI YOU SHOULD BE LISTENING TO YOUR HIGHER UPS AND YOUR NOT." screamed Iruka scaring a couple students.
"Sorry Iruka-sensei." said a couple students.
"Very well we shall get on with the test now." said Iruka pulling out a stack of papers. "The first test will be a written test, followed by taijutsu, shurikenjutsu, ninjutsu, and basic fuinjutsu." stated Iruka as he handed half the papers to Mizuki.
As they handed out the papers all the students started to get prepared glancing at the test as they waited for the queue to start. As Iruka and Mizuki finished passing out the tests they walked to the front of the room.
"You have an hour to complete this exam, cheating will result in termination from the Shinobi Program, BEGING." stated Iruka.
As he said this all the students got to work on their tests. As the students worked they could hear the dramatic ticking of the clock on the wall. Sweat poured off their forehead. "This will determine by career I have to do as best as possible." they chanted in their heads. One of the questions out of 10 read "If a Kunai is aiming at a 40 Degree angle but you are trying to use a wind technique to aim it to a 70 Degree angle how would you do that?" some of these questions had the students stumped but they still pressed on. Answering each question to their individual best. Staring up to the clock it had 30 Minutes left.
"30 Minutes Left Students." stated Iruka furthering to give the children anxiety and making some go faster to finish on time.
As the clock ticked down Iruka started walking around the room looking at students tests trying to intimidate them, succeeding in a few.
"15 Minutes Left." said Iruka.
"5 Minutes Left." said Iruka. Students started to walk up to the front of the classroom to deliver their tests. First came the civilians as this was an area most of them exceeded in. Next came the clan heirs and regular shinobi from their clans and then ninja families.. Finally were the Orphans or the people who weren't very determined to be a shinobi.
As Iruka left Mizuki to grade the tests he walked outside towards the training grounds with the students in tow. The training ground they went to was located next to the academy. It had three log stumps and a drawn out ring/arena for students to fight. As Iruka called up names students began to fight. It was Kunoichi vs Kunoichi and Shinobi vs Shinobi. Choji had fought a Civilian using his expansion jutsu to knock him out of the arena. Sasuke fought another civilian quickly disabling him. Shikimaru used his shadow possession technique to get his opponent out of the arena. Ino used her mind technique to take out an aspiring kunoichi from a family of shinobi. Kiba used fang over fang on a member of choji's clan. Hinata used her lethal style of Juken to disable a Civilian. Shino quickly disabled his opponent with superior speed. Mito had taken out her opponent with a quick strike to the back of the neck.
As Iruka watched the matches he checked down the students that had met the criteria of graduation. After Mito was born he started to make the academy more demanding and only the best could graduate and if they failed they would have to try again in 6 months or a year depending on how much experience they wanted before going out. The Academy usually limited the graduates to 18 of the normal classes of 27 so a big portion would stay in the academy. The students were also required to have the 3 basic jutsu down and one non elemental jutsu. But they were also required to have knowledge of how to perform an elemental jutsu, but the academy had deemed that students did not have enough chakra to perform them yet. A Fuinjutsu class was added taught by Kushina Uzumaki once a week for basic sealing like storage scrolls and explosive tags. Jutsu Theory was also added and members of the Uchiha clan would usually come in and demonstrate different elemental jutsu since they had the largest collection in Konoha with the Senju clan trailing behind but due to them being low on numbers the Uchiha would do the classes. Basic healing knowledge was taught and sometimes Tsunade herself would even come in to overview the classes.
Moving onto Shuriken Jutsu the class followed Iruka to the targets. The students were given a set of Shuriken, Kunai and to earn extra points they could demonstrate their knowledge with Senbon. Kenjutsu was also offered though almost all the students didn't use a sword other than for Sasuke Uchiha and a few other students who weren't worth mentioning. (At Least just yet :D)
As the students progressed onto the NinJutsu portion this was where they were really tested it was easy for all the students to show off the three standard jutsu. As each student went to be tested most used their clan jutsu or a family technique. Mito had used the summoning contract for the toads which got a couple surprised looks from the other students as a giant frog appeared out of nowhere. As they went onto fuinjutsu all the students got nervous.
Kushina's temper was notorious so all the children were trying extra hard in her class to not fail it, feeling sorry for whoever risked that.
Once the tests were all taken the students made their way into the classroom rushing away from Kushina-sensei as she graded.
"Next week you will be told who graduated and who did not. Remember we are going with overall scores so you could score very low in one category and very high in another. Teams will be determined based on your overall scores to balance them out. Make sure you come to school next monday to check for the top 18 scores out of the 36 of you. " stated Iruka before walking out. The students scurrying after to go home and tell their parents about their experiences or to go get lunch.
Tani (Village hidden in the valleys. I'll be referring to it as Tani from now on because it's shorter.):
Naruto was currently observing the papers Kusa had sent to even out the alliance. They went pre packaged meals and cooking classes for their chefs no doubt to accommodate for the nobles. Pre Packaged meals for the soldiers? No doubt they will be supplying the ingredients as it is not our job to pay for all their food that would make our economy go down the drain. They also want a military support where we will support each other when needed which is given. They will give us their jutsu theory as Kusa is famous for the study and analysis of elemental chakra and how it is worked. This could provide a huge advantage in a war they are going very far to appease us but we are a stronger village and are providing food for their shinobi and civilians so it is no wonder as we have figured out how to make food as productive as possible. Mused Naruto.
"We want access to Kusa's water supplies as in the valleys it is a longer trek to get water supply for our village and I rather not use large amounts of chakra to fill up our reservoirs as I need my shinobi at peak strength at all times." stated Naruto looking at the Kusa negotiator.
"That is acceptable, if your assistant were to draw up the papers I'll sign them." said Ryu the Kusa negotiator.
"I hope our alliance has a bright future." said Naruto, shaking Ryu's hand.
Ryu after signing the papers bowed and left the room heading back to Kusa to deliver the news. Naruto had sent a messenger hawk as well to get them the news as fast as possible while Ryu was bringing the officially signed document.
I wonder if the Land of Frost would like an alliance. It is a pretty powerful hidden village and they are not allied with any of the main hidden villages, a perfect alliance. Mused Naruto looking over the map to his right. It was a map of the elemental nations and all the treaties each nation possessed.
"I think it's time we pay the ruins of Uzu a visit Aiko-chan." said Naruto as he grabbed his cloak before leaving his office.
"Alright, Naruto-kun." said Aiko as she followed Naruto out.
Konoha:
As the students approached the graduation board a lot of them got nervous.
The Board read as follows (I'm going to leave out the characters im not using only adding the OC for Team 7):

The students made their way out to get lunch from the various restaurants. Some heading to one of the Akamichi's BBQ places or some heading towards one of the Ichiraku Ramen Establishments. In the past couple of years with the Hokage's family eating there often it had expanded business letting them open up a second shop. With the Hokage deciding that it would be a good business venture, invest in Ichiraku Ramen and now it has become one of the biggest Ramen places in the Elemental Nations with shops ranging from Konoha to Suna and all the way to Kumo and Kiri. Essentially the only nation they were not in was Iwa as could be expected they hated anything related to Konoha.
Old Man Teuichi and his daughter had even retired from ramen making deciding to lounge around now. It was even rumored that Uchiha Itachi the commander of the Anbu division and heir to the Uchiha clan was dating Teuichi's daughter Ayame but that was a far fetched claim only having reasoning due to them being spotted together a few times and the Uchiha investing in the ramen business.
Minato had been cutting down the walls between the Uchiha and the Village in the past few years allowing other clans to join the police force as the Uchiha started to take more missions outside of the village and incorporate in the Shinobi force.
He was trying to break down the walls of the Hyuga as well but it was challenging as they were stuck on their old ways with the caged bird seal.
One of the also main reasons the Uchiha were breaking down the walls instead of being secluded like the Hyuga was that Uchiha Itachi was being rumored to become the Godaime Hokage also known as the Fifth Hokage. Seeing as he had been spotted with the Hokage and advisors outside of Anbu uniform and was the youngest S rank shinobi in Konoha currently and the only one not from Minato's generation or older who held the title of S rank shinobi. Kakashi Hatake and Obito Uchiha were also considered strong shinobi but hadn't been able to grab the title of S ranked Shinobi leaving the younger generations title to Itachi the current genius of the Uchiha clan.
Back to the classroom we find the children piling into their seats as they awaited their sensei Iruka to announce the teams.
Team 7: Uchiha Sasuke, Mito Namikaze Senju, and Rihochi Nakasame announced Iruka as he got threatened by the fan girls even though the academy tried to limit them they still appeared.
The members of team 7 seemed fine with this as Rihochi was strong and Sasuke and Mito knew he was just lagging in Academic standards as he was never a very smart one.
Team 8: Kiba Inuzuka, Shino Aburame, and Hinata Hyuga. Stated Iruka
Team 9 is still in circulation.
Team 10: Ino Yamanaka, Shikumaru Nara, Choji Akamichi.
"Those are your teams, your sensei shall arrive soon." Stated Iruka before walking out.
Three Jonin walked into the room. One was a tall man with tanned skin, he had a cigarette in his mouth and laid back black hair he was hearing the guardian sash for one of the 12 Guardian shinobi of the fire daimyo. A woman entered. She had red eyes and red lipstick; she had a slim body and long black hair that traveled down to her back. Finally the last one who entered had a stoic face. He had red eyes with 3 tomoe in each of them and he had his hair in a ponytail. He had a tanto on his back. These were Asuma Sarutobi, Kurenai Yuhi, and Itachi Uchiha.
"Team 8 meet me at training ground 8." stated Kurenai.
"Team 10 meet me at training ground 9." stated Asuma
"Team 7 meet me at training ground 7." stated Itachi
Asuma and Kurenai disappeared in a leaf shunshin also known as body flicker.
Itachi disappeared in a murder of crows who flew out through the windows and doors.
Their soon to be students quickly hurried after them to the training grounds. Mito grabbed Sasuke and Rihochi and performed a shunshin disappeared in a cloud of smoke to training field 7. This got glares from a certain Hyuga who had Kunoichi of the Year 'stolen' from her. The other teams quickly ran out leaving the last 9 students to wait for their jounin sensei. You could hear a certain pink banshee's scream as the students left 'already missing her Sasuke-kun'.
Training ground 7:
Itachi awaited his students' arrival. When a cloud of smoke appeared he could tell they were here.
"Sit down, we will now introduce ourselves. My name is Itachi Uchiha. I am 18 years old, I like dango, my family and Konoha. My dream is to become Hokage and to make you into splendid, shinobi. I dislike the enemies of Konoha." stated Itachi. Pointing at Sasuke he said "You go next."
"My name is Sasuke Uchiha, I like tomatoes and my family, I dislike my fangirls and people who don't take their career seriously, my dream is to become a successful shinobi and be ranked S like my niisan." said Sasuke.
"My name is Mito Namikaze Senju Uzumaki. I like my family and konoha as well as ramen. I dislike the enemies of konoha and grapes, my dream is to master Kurama's power and become a great toad summoner." stated Mito.
"My name is Rihochi Nakasame, I like Konoha and strawberries, I dislike grapes, and my dream is to become a Fuinjutsu expert." stated Rihochi.
His last statement got a lot of looks of interest as a lot of people didn't appreciate the art of Fuinjutsu.
"Very well we would normally have a test to determine if you are worthy to become full fledged shinobi but I know that you each have the power levels. Shinobi of the leaf value teamwork above all else. Remember that. We will work on teamwork exercises and D rank missions before we start taking on serious ones and getting in the field of Shinobi work." stated Itachi.
"Yes Sensei." chroused the group of genin before they got to work. Itachi instructed them with an exercise to complete so they got to work excited to start with the missions.
With Naruto:
"Aiko it will be a 2 week trip to make it to Uzu from here as it is across the elemental nations and not to mention the trip on water. Before though Zetsu has raised my suspicions about something in Wave country so we will be heading there first then we will move onto Uzu. We will stay in Wave for a week and in Uzu for a week then we will travel back which will take 2 weeks. So pack for a 6 week trip including rations, and only the basic sleeping supplies as my mokuton should be able to cover most of the sleeping arrangements." stated Naruto
"Right away." said Aiko before she went and packed her resources.
As they met at the front gates they both adorned their cloaks and straw hats. To the naked eye they were not carrying anything but beneath their cloaks they each had a set of scrolls carrying all of their items.
"Kakuzu I entrust the village to you till I come back, I trust you are able to handle anything that happens, and Hidan can help with training the shinobi in kenjutsu." stated Naruto.
Kakuzu nodded. Naruto had decided that he needed to leave a leader to replace him while him and Aiko were gone and he only accepted the strongest and Kakuzu was the strongest shinobi that could handle the position of a leader with his experience. Deidara and Kisame were both options as well seeing as they were both being considered to be the leaders of their respective villages but they both were too eccentric for Naruto's taste. He had also considered Sasori but he needed him to manage the spy network. He would have had Zetsu and Sasori go to waves but to go to Uzu you required Uzumaki to accompany you and he was the only one in the Akatsuki with Uzumaki blood to his knowledge.
"It is time to leave, Aiko let us go." said Naruto jumping to the trees with Aiko next to him.
GOOD CHAPTER? R&R I know it was kinda short well it was like 4 or 5 thousand words but I want to get higher. This chapter essentially had nothing canon in it accept the graduation but that I heavily modified. I kind of feel like this story is two separate stories being merged as one. Seeing as Naruto has a completely different approach with him being the leader of the 10 Soldiers of New Dawn as well as being older and he is more powerful. Then you have Mito who you could kind of imagine as Naruto so it was customized with Minato and Kushina living as well as her having family and someone to train her. Also what do you think about Itachi being a sensei? I mentioned that Kakashi had taken over Jiraiya's spy network and I've hinted heavily at Itachi being the next Hokage. It is kind of a tradition that the Hokage takes a genin team with only Naruto not taking one and of course Hashirama didn't take one cause he was the person who formed the village. I mean he technically mentored Hiruzen and them but i'm pretty sure he was just helping out with Tobirama's team. Also what do you think about there being no wave arc? I'll let you guys guess what Naruto will do with the wave but Itachi and his team will not be going to wave for their first C rank. I haven't decided whether I want to keep it as an actual C rank or make it bumped up to an A rank as it goes on. They're are pros and cons to both of the decisions. Let me know if you have a mission you think they should take but I think I have one that works out fine. Anyways i'm out the next chapter will be up in a week or 2 maybe 3 depending on how busy I am.
