Chapter 6: The exam
Izuku, Ochako, Katsuki, Ryu and Kendo walked in as a pair looking at the school.
"Whoa this place is huge," Izuku said.
"I know right," Ochako said with a smile, "I hope we all are able to make it into this school and follow our dreams as heroes!"
Someone that grabbed onto Ochako's arm. It was none other than Sanji, one of Izuku's tormentters. His quirk allowed him to create blades.
"I'm not sure how someone with a weak ass quirk like yours would make it into this school, but such a pretty face is going to make it in." Sanji said.
Ochako moved her hand away
"Get your filthy hands off me," she said, "I'm not interested for the 100,000th time"
"Oh come on! I'm sure I can change your mind!" He was then grabbed by the collar and floated in the air. It was Izuku who had a pissed off look.
Izuku was pissed.
"I'm giving you one last chance. You better back off or you'll be digging your own grave with the top of your skull!" Izuku said.
"You better listen to him. You do NOT want an ass beating from him!" Katsuki said.
The five of them started laughing.
"So I think we'll just leave you hanging for a bit," Izuku said as they all walked in. Ochako followed suit, clinging onto Izuku's arm
Izuku blushed at the sudden embrace.
"Thank you Izuku." Ochako said.
"N-n-n-no problem," he said.
For the past 10 months Izuku and Ochako had became good friends. Ochako even showed a few hints that she liked him, like grabbing onto his arm, hugging him a few times, and even a kiss on the cheek. However he felt oblivious to these hints believing she liked someone else.
"HEY THERE YOUNG LISTENERS! CAN I GET A HEEEEEEYYYY!" Present Mic shouted.
"ohmygoditspresentmiconeofmyfavoriteheroesintheworldotherthanallmight..." Izuku said muttering
Present Mic began explaining the three robots and Katsuki was trying to get Izuku out of his muttering storm. Until a blue haired boy jumped out of his seat.
"EXCUSE ME SIR may I ask a question!" he said, "You only mentioned three robots when there are only four, is this a mistake from the most prestigious school? And you! The one of the unruly green hair!"
"Me?" Izuku asked.
"You've been mumbling this whole time! Stop that, it's distracting the people around you! If you can't take this seriously then leave!" The boy said.
After that, everyone gathered on the busses to head over to the fake city. Izuku and Ochako sat next to each other. Ochako then intertwined her fingers with Izuku's. Later on they were dropped off to the city. Everyone was starting to warm up and get ready.
zuku spotted Ochako. He was gonna go and wish her good luck. However he was stopped by the blue haired boy.
"You wouldn't happen to be trying to distract her would you?" he asked.
"What? No!" Izuku aasked.
"Listen bub, are you round face's boyfriend?" Katsuki asked.
"No but..."
"Then mind your business," Katsuki said, "He's just gonna go and wish her luck."
"GO!" Present mic shouted, "What!? There's no count down in real situations! Go go GO!"
Everyone started going around the city and earning themselves some points. Izuku decided to start off slow and use ki blasts on his opponents. He sensed a robot behind him and jumped over it, then punched it straight through the stomach. It stung a little but he got over it.
Meanwhile in another part, Ryu was fighting off robots with his bare hands. He saw Kendo surrounded by robots. He knew he needed to help her.
"Kaioken Gate 1!" he said.
He started moving a bit faster and dashed to the robots knocking them out and earning some points.
"Hey Itsu! You alright?" He asked.
She smiled and said, "I am now, thanks to you. Hey wanna team up?"
"Sure," Ryu said smiling.
Back with Izuku, he was fighting robots off, now using Dragon Cowl. He had a few super moves in his arsenal. One move was being saved for something bigger. The judges were watching and were amazed by his performance.
"This kid! I wonder what kind of quirk he has. It's quite incredible I must say!" A bear mouse creature said.
"Its like he's depending on raw strength," Aizawa said
Toshinori had a proud smirk spread across his face watching his successor man handle the competition like nothing. After awhile of students gathering points, the real test began. A button was pushed and out came a behemoth of a robot. Everyone started to run except Izuku.
"This looks a bit obsessive." He said.
He failed to see some debris falling towards him. Ochako rushed forward to him and pushed him out of the way before he could get crush. Both of them were unharmed.
"Figured I'd save you for a change," she said with a smile.
Izuku smiled then saw the robot getting closer. He knew he had to save people before anyone could get hurt. He activated dragon cowling and jumped to the robots head.
"Dragon... SMAAAAAASH!" He shouted.
Once the punch hit, the clouds cleared up in an instant. Everyone looked at the robot and saw that the top half of the robot was destroyed. Reality hit Izuku. He used 100% by accident. He started falling down while his arm was broken while he was unconscious as well.
Ochako took to action. She jumped onto a platform and made it weighless. As soon as she was close enough to Izuku she gently smacked his arm to make him weightless as well. After that, Ochako released her quirk making them both fall down gently. Ochako puked from over using her quirk while Izuku was unconscious. After Ochako was done puking she ran up to Izuku. She saw that Izuku was injured. She picked him up and clinged to him trying not to hurt his arm anymore than it is.
Everyone looked around until... "TIMES UP!" All the robots shut down.
Suddenly a small old woman came through.
Ochako looked at the older woman.
"Please! My friend here is injured!" She said desperately.
"Put him down so I can check on him." The woman said. She then looked at him.
"He over exerted himself. I'm sorry to say my quirk can't heal him because he used up all his stamina. Would you be so kind to get him into my office?" The woman asked.
Ochako carried Izuku in her arms into the office that had the name plate Recovery Girl on her door.
"Just lay him right there dear and I'll start working on that arm of his." The woman now known as Recovery girl said.
After a few minutes, Izuku was laying on the bed resting. He had been through a alot. He was about to get up but felt something hold him down. He felt hair on his cheek. He looked to see the source of the weight and there laid Ochako clinging onto him while askeep. Izuku must've been exhausted because he closed his eyes again.
...
'Wait, WHAT!?' Izuku mentally screamed now becoming a nervous wreck.
"Hey Izuku!" Ochako said releaved to see Izuku alive hugging Izuku tighter.
She then noticed the position they were in.
"Y-you're probably wondering why I was here this whole time." Ochako said with her face beet red still.
"Kind of," Izuku said.
"Well I wanted to stay here and give you company," Ochako answered, "But anyway… how are you feeling?"
"I'm feeling well, thanks," Izuku answered.
Later on Izuku and Ochako were walking back to the apartment talking.
"It was really cool how you punched that robot out of nowhere, it was amazing!" Ochako said, "You always manage to amaze me in so many ways. Its no wonder I've fallen for you."
She quickly covered her mouth after what she just said.
"You... I... wha..." Izuku was at a loss for words. He felt like he was dreaming.
"I... sigh I've fallen for you Izuku," Ochako said, "I think I've fallen for you since the day you saved me from that monster."
Izuku smiled and blushed.
"I….. I like you too Ochako," Izuku said, "Although we've only known each other for 10 months, you've always been there for me and always have great things to say. And you've been nothing but supportive and encouraging to me my entire life. And I thank you for that."
The two of them got closer to each other.
"Izuku…." she said.
"Ochako…." he said.
They got closer and their lips met for the first time. The feeling was magical for them both. After a few seconds of kissing they broke apart and smiled.
"So…. do you wanna maybe be my girlfriend?" Izuku asked.
"Of course I do dummy," Ochako said smiling.
Katsuki turned to his mom as they were secretly watching.
"Pay up hag,"
"Oh shut up brat!" Mitsuki shouted.
