A/N - This chapter covers about a year and a half of their time with the Druid. I will likely cover the rest of their time over the next one-two chapters.

Chapter 6 – The Druid Way

Dinner at the Druid enclave was much more relaxed than either of them expected. Harry had let Narcissa dress him, which she seemed to true enjoy doing. The dinner formal wear she selected for them both were stunning, and they made quite the striking pair. True to his word, Cathbad met them at the door just as the sun was beginning to set and led them across one of the bridges and into a large cavern. They followed him into the dining area where every table was filled with people sitting in silence. Harry noticed how eerily quiet it was in the room. Cathbad led them to the head table and gestured for them to sit down in the two of the empty seats at the end. When they sat down Cathbad, remained standing and looked over at the crowd. Suddenly every head nodded, and Harry realized he had been speaking to them. 'Right telepathy, that's why it was so quiet.' Cathbad turned to the guests with a smile.

"I have reminded them that you do not yet know how to communicate with your mind and asked that they use their voice when you are around, at least until you have mastered our way of communication," Cathbad explained. Harry nodded in thanks and Cathbad turned back to the crowd.

"The moment our ancestors have spoken of has finally come at last. Lord and Lady Emrys have returned to us. They are here to learn our ways and master the knowledge of the Druid so that they can be the defenders of those that cannot defend themselves. Treat them as brother and sister and remember that you will not be allowed to leave the boundaries of Albion while they are here. I don't know what would happen to you if you tried, but Merlin made it clear to Cathbad I, that it would not be pleasant experience." He turned to Harry for confirmation, and he nodded grimly. Cathbad laughed merrily.

"Now, enjoy this lovely feast put together in honour of our guests," finished Cathbad. As soon as he took his seat next to Harry, the food appeared on the table and a quite murmuring of voices started to fill the cavern.

"So what would happen if someone tried to leave?" Asked Narcissa, as she daintily filled her plate.

"Well, I imagine they would find themselves at the bottom of the ocean right below these cliffs," said Harry. Cathbad laughed again and Harry looked at him curiously.

"Merlin was known to have a delightful sense of humour, he knew how much we dislike swimming."

Half-way through the meal a stunningly beautiful woman conjured a chair across from Harry's and smiled at him with intrigue. She was slim, her soft curves showing through the tight-fitting dress she was wearing. She had short brown hair, that was haphazardly pulled away from her face with pins. She had high check bones and full rosy lips.

"We are excited to have you with us Lord Emrys. I was especially hoping I would be alive to meet you," she said, then she turned to Narcissa, "and your enticingly beautiful other half as well, of course. My name is Milcah, I am Cathbad's first wife." She finished as she put out her hand for Harry to take. He shook it gently as he stared into her clear caramel-coloured eyes that swirled with golden flakes of magic. She looked back at him intently and suddenly he felt arousal fluttering in his belly. He was too preoccupied to notice the same glazed look in Narcissa's eyes that was in his own.

"Milcah, perhaps you should let them finish their meal before you start flirting with them," said Cathbad with a hearty laugh.

"Hmm," said Milcah as she turned to her husband. "But he is so deliciously powerful," then suddenly she was standing behind Harry, her lips brushing gently across his earlobe as she whispered, "and eager." Harry blushed deeply as a shiver went through his body.

"There is much I can teach you young one, if you let me." Then as quickly as she had come, she was back at the other end of the table talking with some other women about her age. She winked in his direction and then continued to eat. 'She's the most enticing woman I have ever met, is she part Veela or something?' Harry continued to stare at her until Cathbad's voice pulled him out of his thoughts and he felt Narcissa's hand move possessive out to his thigh.

"She is not part Veela, though I imagine she would be thrilled by the compliment. Milcah is a sorcerer, like you. She is the last amongst us. I believe she was merely 'testing' your compatibility," explained Milcah. Harry nodded uncertainly. He had Merlin's memories, but this sort of open interaction was still new to him. "I apologize for her bluntness and my own when you arrived. We are not used to interacting with others that are not used to our customs. Milcah can be very intense when she sets her eyes on something. I will speak with her." Harry nodded and squeezed Narcissa's hand under the table.

The rest of the dinner went by in pleasant conversation. Nearly all of the Druid clan came over to introduce themselves and welcome them to Albion. They seemed eager to learn more about them and were just as intrigued by their customs as Narcissa and Harry were with theirs. Men and women alike flirted with them both. Narcissa, especially was uncomfortable at first, but as they watched the Druid interact with each other in the same manner, Narcissa quickly realized what Harry had learned from Merlin's memories, that this was simply how they were and how they communicated, and her grip on his thigh began to relax. When they returned to the castle, they were both exhausted and quickly fell asleep in each other arms, neither realizing they were both thinking about the information on Druid culture they would be seeking out the next day.

When Harry woke up early the next morning, he went to the training room to practice duelling before breakfast and burn off some of his excess magic. He set up the training dummies and then started firing spells. His spells were so powerful that after a couple hits the dummies were completely destroyed. He repaired them and changed their settings so that they took on a more offensive approach and increased their skill level. Then he took his stance again and began firing off spells, but now the dummies were moving and predicting his motions. He realized that made it much harder, and when they started to combine their efforts to defeat him, he began to struggle. He was panting heavily and about to stop when he was struck by a strong stunner right between the shoulder blades. He turned around to see Narcissa smirking at him with her wand outstretched in his direction. Her hair was pulled back from her face gently, the long strands spread across her back in soft waves. She was wearing a white, flowing silk dressing gown that did nothing to hide her enticing curves. Harry tried hard to focus on her face and not her generous chest and the hardened nipples that were teasing him through the thin fabric.

"I expected more from you Harry. I've been watching for a while. You duel like a child." She said as she flicked her wand and another curse sailed towards Harry.

"I am a child," he replied as he dodged the spell, and tried to ignore his arousal at the challenge blazing in her eyes. Narcissa unexpectedly fired three spells at him in quick succession leaving Harry with no choice but to fall to the floor to avoid them. Harry rolled and got to his feet as he put up a shield.

"STUPEFY," he said as he pointed his wand at Narcissa who flicked it away with her wand.

"Is that the only spell you know?" She said as she fired several Black family curses that Harry had never seen before. Harry was starting to get annoyed at her taunting and began firing back more lethal spells. They exchanged spells for a while until they were both covered in sweat and panting heavily. Suddenly Narcissa closed her eyes and drew on Harry's magic. He could feel a tingling sensation as she did this and watched her in fascination. Then she opened her eyes and they swirled with golden light before she threw a BOMBARDA at him strong enough to break through his shield and push him across the room until he hit the wall. Narcissa quickly ran to his to make sure he was okay.

"How did you do that?" Asked Harry in awe.

"Perenelle taught me how to draw on your magic to increase the strength of my spells, but that was the first time I've really been able to try it in this sort of situation," said Narcissa excitedly.

"Hmm, we'll have to explore that more later. I'm not sure I like you being able to use my own magic against me, but it could be really useful if you were ever in trouble," Harry said as he pulled himself away from the wall. "Where did you learn to duel?"

"I grew up with Bellatrix as an older sister remember?"

"Right."

"I'm not as good as she is, but I can stand my own. My father taught all of us the Black family magic so we could defend ourselves if needed. Lucius did not want me practicing duelling or fighting magic, he said it was unladylike, but I wanted to be able to protect Draco. It was one thing I defied him at. I have always practiced regularly. I can teach you the Black family spells if you'd like. You are the head of the Black family now after all."

"Yes, I'd like that," responded Harry. "You are extremely sexy by the way, when you duel." Narcissa blushed prettily and gave him what was meant to be a chaste kiss, but Harry gripped her waist tightly enough that she couldn't pull away and deepened the kiss and he maneuvered her, so that her back was against the wall he had just crashed into.

After showering and eating breakfast they went into the village to get to know the locals. They would be here for many years and wanted to make friends, so this seemed like a good place to start. They easily found two young men that were interested in being security at the entrance to the castle and then spent the rest of the morning walking around and introducing themselves. Everyone was friendly, but many of the locals seemed hesitant to talk to them for too long. However, once they made it clear they had no intention of ruling over them or changing anything about their lifestyle, that they were only there to learn. Everyone seemed to relax and became much more willing to get to know them after that.

In the afternoon they sat in the conservatory and read until they were supposed to be joined by Cathbad. He was coming over to help them learn to communicate telepathically like the rest of the Druid did. After Harry finished reading, he sat and thought about how much things had changed in Albion since Merlin was last here. He found it interesting, but not surprising that other than the fact that most of the Druid didn't marry anymore, very little had changed. The Druid held tight to their traditions and were proud of who they were. The history of the villagers though, told a very different story. He was intrigued to see how much their interactions with other world cultures had influenced them. They came from the same traditions, the same open, polyamorous heritage and yet now, nearly every villager had only one or two spouses, and almost all of those marriages were between men and women. Harry knew polyamory wasn't something that was widely accepted in his society, that people would think it was wrong, but as thought about Merlin's memories of his life in Albion and his own feelings, it didn't feel wrong, just different. He was more curious than he expected to be. Just as Harry was about to ask Narcissa about her thoughts, he was pulled out of his musings by Cathbad's gruff but cheerful voice from the doorway.

"….It will be easier to start with attempting to hear other's thoughts, and then once you have mastered that we can move on to speaking," finished Cathbad.

"That's sounds fine, Cathbad," said Harry as he stood up to shake the man's hand in greeting.

"Narcissa, I've been meaning to ask you. I know Harry will be working with Cathbad and the warriors a lot, but what do you plan to do while you are here?" asked Milcah as she moved past Cathbad in the doorway and came over and sat next to Narcissa, putting her arm on hers gently.

"She insisted on coming along," said Cathbad with a knowing smirk.

"It's fine," said Harry as he sat back down.

"Well, I was hoping I could work with the healers," said Narcissa answering Milcah question.

"We have some of the finest healers in the world. I'm sure they would be thrilled to work with you. I will come by in the morning and take you the healing quarters, if you'd like?" said Milcah. Narcissa nodded.

"Great, well since that is settled, shall we begin?" chimed in Cathbad. When both Harry and Narcissa nodded in agreement, Milcah sauntered over to Harry with a gleam in her eyes, as Cathbad sat down next to Narcissa. He looked Narcissa intently in the eyes.

"Now, focus on my eyes and try to pull out of my mind what I am thinking," said Cathbad.

They spent the rest of the afternoon sitting with Cathbad and Milcah trying to master telepathy. Harry noticed that Narcissa was having a much easier time than Harry, but he was convinced that was because Cathbad was actually sitting patiently just thinking while Narcissa focused on him. Whereas Milcah kept distracting him with flares of her magic. Eventually, he started sending bursts of his own magic to her in return, smirking in satisfaction as her pupils dilated in arousal. Harry was just starting to get bursts of thoughts from her when he was distracted by Narcissa's gentle laughter. 'Merlin, she's sexy when she laughs.'

"Focus Harry," said Narcissa as she looked at him with a smirk. Harry gasped.

"You did it!" He said as he walked over and pulled her in for a languid kiss. "I'm proud of you Cissy."

By the next morning they had both gotten the hang of it, but they quickly realized that it could be a little awkward to be able hear each other's thoughts all of the time. While they ate breakfast Harry asked Narcissa if Occulmency would allow them to choose which thoughts they shared and which ones they didn't.

"I'm not sure, we would have to look into it, but honestly…" Narcissa trailed off as she looked at Harry hesitantly. Harry nodded, encouraging her to continue.

"I kind of like it. I know there have been a few awkward moments," Narcissa said with a deep blush. "But, the openness, the complete honesty, I like that. I may not want to hear everyone else's thoughts all the time, but I like being able to hear yours.

'It will take some getting used to, but I like it too.' Narcissa smiled at him gently and then pulled him in for a deep languid kiss, only pulling away when they heard Cathbad and Milcah enter the kitchen. They both stood and followed them out of the castle and down through the village, only parting ways when they reached the other side of the bridge. Harry and Cathbad headed into the woods, while Milcah led Narcissa into the cave.

As they walked into the trees Harry took a deep refreshing breathe. The walk through the village had been a bit overwhelming since there were so many people, and therefore so many thoughts entering his head at one time. He found the silence of the forest calming.

'With practice you will be able to pick which voices you want to hear in a crowd like that or drown them all out completely. I know it can be overwhelming when you are first learning, but I promise it will get easier.'

'Thank you Cathbad.' When they reached a clearing deep in the forest they stopped.

"What do you know of Druidic magic?" said Cathbad outloud.

"Everything that Merlin knew," responded Hary.

"Well you should be a fast learner then. Our magical power comes from the force of nature itself. We are masters of tapping into the magical forces of the world and manipulating that magical energy. Like Milcah, you have an affinity for primal magic. I think that is why Merlin sent you here. With our help you will be able to learn how to manipulate not only your own magic, but others' magic as well. Merlin gave you a spell, did he not?" asked Cathbad. Harry nodded.

"What you learn while you are with us will give you the power to manipulate that spell so that you can fully control someone's magic, even going so far as to being able to take it from them if you wish or extinguish it completely" said Cathbad. Harry raised his eyebrows at this but didn't say anything. "This sort of power can darken your heart. It is up to you how you wield it, but I urge you to not let it consume you. Focus on the good in the world, not the bad. Focus on love, for it will balance the darkness. Learn from us, allow yourself to accept love from others that you are compatible with, let that love guide you, for I am certain it will save your soul," finished Cathbad. Harry thought about all he had said and nodded when he felt like he understood. After several hours of working on tapping into the magical force of the earth, they found a shady spot in a grove of trees near a stream and ate the packed lunch that Winky had prepared for them.

"Can I ask you something Cathbad?" said Harry.

'Of course.'

'Why are so few of the Druid married now? In Merlin's memories most of the enclave got married to many people, only a few chose not to.'

'That is an interesting question my young friend. As you know, we have always been a polyamorous community. We share love freely, and there is very little jealousy and deceitfulness because we also share thoughts freely. Our children are everyone's children, we raise them together. Many generations ago, our ancestors just began to feel like there wasn't much of a point, the love and intimacy within the community was there, whether they all married each other or not. Some Druid prefer to have open relationships with many various partners, others prefer to restrict their sexual activity to only members of their chosen group, in a more closed polyamorous relationship. Some of those groups do choose to get married. I am the only person required by Druid law to marry since one of my scions will be chosen as the next Cathbad when I pass. So, it is my obligation to marry anyone that bears me a potential heir. I wouldn't say it changes anything though, all my wives spend their time with who/how they please just as they did before we married. Perhaps someday we will get around to changing the law, but we are not known for our efficiency in those sorts of things." Harry laughed, thinking about Merlin's memories he could tell that was true.

'So your heir is not always your eldest son?'

'No, it will be whoever has the closet magical match to Cathbad I. I myself am the youngest of my father's 12 children, by a significant margin.'

'Interesting. You said your wives spend time with who/how they please. What of Milcah? Does she have many you know, lovers?' Harry blushed deeply and Cathbad looked at him with a knowing smirk.

"Milcah is special indeed," Cathbad said out loud. "We are considered exceptionally powerful in your world, be even amongst us sorcerers like yourself and Merlin are rare. Milcah is the first one we have had in almost a century, and probably the first female sorcerer in two. They have become exceedingly rarer the more we have isolated ourselves from the outside world. Milcah is attracted to power, but as she is the most powerful amongst us it can be difficult for her to find others she is compatible with. We have been married for 10 years and I have seen her take only a few lovers, two of those being my newest wives. I think that is why she find you and and Narcissa so irresistible." Harry blushed even more at this. After lunch they walked back to the castle. Harry found Narcissa in the library searching for medical books.

"How was your day Cissy?" asked Harry as he gave her a welcoming kiss.

"It was wonderful Harry," said Narcissa with the brightest, most sincere smile he had yet to see adorn her features. "There is so much for me to learn, and their skills are beyond what I could have imagined. I am excited to keep working with them. I was actually looking for books on some of the herbs and medicines they mentioned." Harry was overjoyed by the excitement in her eyes and with another soft kiss left her to find her books. She joined him a while later in the conservatory, with a tall stack of books. While they read Narcissa thoughts kept wandering back to one particular conversation she had with Milcah that day.

Milcah had introduced her to the healers and then shown her around, softly placing her hand in the small of her back as they moved from room to room. She could feel the heat of Milcah's body against her own as she stood closer than strictly necessary each time they stopped and smell the pleasant earthy scent of her shampoo. She had never had someone be so blatantly coy with her, especially a woman. She realized that the idea didn't make her uncomfortable, and she wasn't sure how to feel about that.

'I make you nervous,' Narcissa laughed.

'Yes.'

'What is it you are afraid of?' Narcissa hesitated for a moment, but as she looked into Milcah's caramel eyes she saw no hint of judgement, only curiosity and a desire to understand.

'You.' Milcah laughed, and Narcissa was surprised by the fluttering feeling in her stomach.

'On behalf of your husband or yourself?' Narcissa sighed and sat down at an empty table in the room they just entered.

'Both, I suppose. I was raised to understand that if I married someone with more than one title that I would likely have to share them with someone else. I always knew it was a possibility and I became comfortable with the idea. When I learned that Harry was the Lord of not only House Potter, but House black as well I knew there was a chance that I would end up in the very situation my mother prepared me for, especially since he is the last of both lines and having as many heirs as possible will be important to ensuring the continuation of the lines….'

'Narcissa, I have no idea what any of that means, and I'm not sure it even matters. I want to know how you feel.' Milcah sat down in an empty chair beside her.

'I – I would be comfortable sharing him with someone else if I had to, but with you I find myself – well- you're beautiful, and outgoing, and powerful, and well - everything that I am not. I am worried I suppose that his feelings for you will grow stronger than his feelings for me and then he will not want to be with me anymore. He says he is happy being married to me, but I can't help but like he would never have chosen me if circumstances hadn't forced us together.'

'And what of your own feelings?' Narcissa looked at her nervously for a moment and then schooled her features and turned her gaze straight ahead.

'You would know I was lying if I said I wasn't attracted to you, but I have been told my whole life that this is wrong, forbidden. I don't know yet, how to reconcile that with the way I feel for you.' Milcah nodded in understanding.

'Harry cares for you very deeply, I can see his magic brighten when you are around. That will not change, even if you end up sharing him with someone else. He will always want you in his life. You will always be his first wife, his voice, his rock, that will not change. Harry has a lot of love in his heart. I would bet that you wouldn't even notice a difference in his attention to you if you did share his love with someone else. He is very powerful – ' Narcissa blushed.

"Yes, I know.' Milcah laughed softly.

'I know better than most the burden of that kind of power and he is much more powerful than I am. He will need all the love he can get to overcome the darkness. Have you considered that perhaps that is why Merlin has sent you here, so you can learn about love, and trust, and intimacy? I don't think either of you have had much of that in your lives.' Milcah let her think about this for some time keeping her mind as blank as possible before she continued. 'As for your dilemma, I cannot begin to understand the internal battle you are having, this is all I have known, to me attraction and intimacy is normal no matter the person's gender, but I will do my best to keep my hands to myself, until you tell me otherwise. I am not sure I can keep myself away from either of you, your combined magic sings to me, but I can control myself.' Milcah smiled at her cheekily and Narcissa laughed. Suddenly Milcah stood.

'Come with me, there is something I want you to have.' Narcissa followed her to her chambers. The room was not overly large, but it was comfortably furnished, and the walls were covered with bright coloured tapestries that screamed Milcah. Narcissa watched as she dug through a chest and then pulled out a small vial of shimmering liquid. She handed it Narcissa, who eyed it curiously.

'What is it?

'Morgana's memories. It didn't seem fair that Harry had Merlin's memories while you got nothing.'

'Thank you.'

Harry listened to her thoughts not sure if she remembered that he could hear them now or not.

"I think we should talk about this Narcissa," he said, causing Narcissa to gasp.

"I forgot you can hear my thoughts," she said embarrassed.

"Nothing has to happen if you don't want it to Narcissa. If Milcah and I are never more than friends, I'm okay with that. I didn't realize there was an expectation for me to have more than one wife, but we have twenty years to figure out what our plans are for when we return. And I do mean 'our' plans, I would never want you to be uncomfortable. I will never get involved with anyone else without your approval. As for your 'dilemma," said Harry blushing deeply. "I didn't realize you were as attracted to her as I am, I'm not sure how I missed that." Narcissa laughed sincerely and smiled at him. "I never imagined being in this sort of situation, but I never imagined being married to a beautiful older woman at fifteen either. I just want you to be happy Narcisa, so I'm willing to go with the flow. It's worked out pretty well for me so far. When you decide what you are okay with, just promise you'll talk to me."

"I will Harry, although you'll know before I even have to tell you."

"Maybe, but I like hearing the sound of your voice," said Harry as leaned in and gave her a soft kiss.

o – o – o – o – o

After that first day, Harry and Narcissa quickly fell into a routine. A couple mornings a week, they would duel, while the other mornings he would practice the new spells Narcissa had taught him as well as some he had found in the library. After breakfast, Harry would work with Cathbad, while Narcissa worked with the healers. The afternoons were spent at the castle. The locals had become quite fond of Harry and Narcissa and within a couple weeks they started coming to the castle to seek their council. Narcissa eagerly took charge and had quickly taken to hosting some of the villagers every afternoon for tea to chat and discuss the various issues in the village. Harry thought it was a wonderful role for her, so he let her speak for both of them and instead spent his time doing research or making plans for when they returned. Narcissa quickly became the leader the villagers claimed they didn't want, and Harry was happy to see her becoming more outspoken. Both Cathbad and Milcah were frequent visitors for dinner, sometimes they came together and sometimes they came separately. Milcah became fast friends with both Harry and Narcissa and while she had been true to her word about keeping her hands to herself, she seemed to make it her life mission to make them both blush as much as possible.

A month after their arrival, Narcissa started getting violently ill in the mornings. He only saw it a couple times before she started getting up hours before him so he wouldn't know. He could see how tired she was from waking up so early and he was frustrated that she was trying to hide it from him. He was also really worried about her, but every time he asked if she was alright, she would dismiss his concern and assure him she was fine. He wasn't sure what to do.

One afternoon about two weeks later, he came back from meeting/training with the Druid warriors to find Narcissa entertaining some of the older matrons of the village. The Druid were a peaceful people, and they were not known for their fighting abilities. They mostly used defensive magic and were trained only to protect the enclave against invasion. However, Harry quickly realized that they had great strategic minds and used his time with them to set up battle scenarios. He used his free time to look up old case files of death eater attacks in the library and then would take those situations back to the round table for discussion. He also started teaching them to duel and some offensive magic that might be useful in an invasion.

"Hello dear," said Narcissa with a glowing smile as he entered the lounge.

"Hello Narcissa, enjoying yourself?" Asked Harry as he walked over and gave her a gentle kiss before helping himself to some of the food she had laid out for her guests.

"Could you excuse us please?" Narcissa asked of her guests as she looked at Harry fondly. Each of the women nodded, kissed her on the cheek, and then gathered their things and left the castle.

"What's up, Narcissa? You didn't have to ask them to leave just become I came back early. I don't mind you having company over," said Harry.

"I know you don't Harry, there is just something I wanted to tell you and I didn't want company when I did," replied Narcissa.

"Okay, said Harry as he sat down next to her and took a bite of food. She looked at him hesitantly for several minutes before she blurted out her news.

"I'm pregnant!"

'Pregnant? I thought women took some kind of potion or something. Are you sure?'

'Yes, I'm sure. I ran the diagnostic test several times.' Harry could tell by the look of displeasure on her face that she was disappointed in his reaction. He put his plate to the side and deftly pulled her into his lap, causing her to let out a small yelp.

"That's wonderful news Narcissa. I wasn't expecting it to happen so soon, but I'm delighted none the less," said Harry as he kissed her lips gently. Then he continued and kissed her cheek, down her neck, and along her collarbone until she let out a soft moan of pleasure and pulled away.

"Is this why you have been ill?" asked Harry. Narcissa looked embarrassed.

"Yes," she responded.

"Why have you been hiding it from me?" he asked. Narcissa was silent for a moment, but Harry could hear her reasons in his head as she thought about them.

"Cissy?" he said, gaining her attention. "You are not weak. In fact, you are one of the strongest people I have ever known. Please let me be a part of this, let me support you, let me be there holding your hair back, or whatever you need. I want to do this together."

"Okay Harry," she said in barely a whisper.

"And Narcissa? I promise I won't push you away like Lucius did. What we have shared these last few months is very special to me. I want you Narcissa and I will always want you, no matter how many children you have or don't have. I am not with you just for an heir, I'm with you because I want to be. Maybe I don't make it obvious enough, but I very much enjoy having sex with you and that won't change just because you give me a child." He pulled her towards him and kissed her soundly and then spent the rest of the day showing her how true his words were.

o – o – o – o – o

Narcissa soon realized that this pregnancy was going to be very different from her last one. Harry doted on her, catered to her every need, and incessantly checked that she was alright. By the time she reached the second trimester she was starting to get annoyed by his constant lingering to help her with something so she pretty much demanded that he leave the castle for a while, so she could have some peace. He reluctantly agreed and went to find Cathbad. Cathbad laughed when he saw him approaching in a brooding mood.

'Come, I have some tasks to do in the forest, you can help me.' Harry nodded his agreement.

'So, you are to be a father?'

'Yes, it looks like it.'

'Fatherhood is a wonderful gift. I remember when my eldest was born.'

'How many children do you have Cathbad?'

'18. Although like I told you, I consider all Druid children to be my children.' Harry stopped walking and stood in silence for some time, before speaking.

"I never knew my father, and I've never really had a father figure in my life. I'm afraid I won't be any good at this. I'm clearly already annoying Narcissa and the kid isn't even here yet," said Harry with a self-deprecating smirk.

"The fact that you worry about whether or not you will make a good father, already makes you one, Harry. You will love your child and you may not be perfect, but you will be enough. I am sure Narcissa will let you know if you are doing a poor job," said Cathbad with a laugh. But, Harry wasn't listening as suddenly he stiffened and his look became concerned.

'Cathbad, there is something in the forest that is following us.'

'Ah yes, just who we are here to see.'

"I bring Lord Emrys to meet you, we mean you no harm." Yelled Cathbad into the silent woods. Slowly there was movement in the ground cover and Harry barely held back a gasp.

"Cathbad what are those?" said Harry reaching for his wand even though he didn't really need it anymore. He eyed the large exoskeleton creatures moving towards him wearily.

"Those are the Serket. They are gentle creatures, but extremely poisonous. One bite can cause paralysis and death if the venom gets to any of your vital organs. We use their venom in some of our anaesthetic remedies. We came here to collect some." Harry looked at them nervously and then nearly jumped when one came and rubbed up against his leg.

'They like you.' Harry smiled.

'Hagrid would love these creatures. They are definitely better than the blast-ended skewrts.' Harry watched as Chathbad collected the venom, and quickly became attached to the gentle creatures. They spent an hour or so with the Serket and then Cathbad dragged Harry back.

When Harry walked into the lounge, he saw Milcah was there and spent a couple hours in pleasant conversation with her before she took her leave. Then he sat down next to Narcissa and took her hands in his.

"I'm sorry I've been hoovering. I will give you some space Narcissa, but I need you to promise me that if you need or want something from me you will tell me," said Harry.

"I can do that," responded Narcissa.

"Good," he said as he picked her up and carried her to bed.

The rest of the second trimester proved highly enjoyable for them both and Narcissa was pleasantly surprised at how well Harry handled her mood swings. They picked one of the closest rooms to the master suite for the nursey, and Narcissa watched in awe as Harry enthusiastically decorated it and filled it with a crib, a rocking chair and all of the other things they would need. She smiled as he laid in bed every night and talked to her growing belly quietly, telling the baby growing inside of her all about his day and his hopes for the future. She felt a tear roll down her cheek as she realized she had fallen in love with the boy who lived.

"Narcissa, are you crying? What's wrong?" asked Harry in concern.

"Nothing is wrong, everything is perfect," responded Narcissa. Harry smiled at then repositioned himself so he could kiss her gently and looked deeply into her eyes.

'I love you too.' Narcissa gasped.

"Say it out loud, please," begged Narcissa, with a happy smile on her face.

"I love you Narcissa," he said as he pulled her into a passionate kiss.

"I love you too."

Throughout the third trimester Narcissa grew more and more uncomfortable, but she also grew more and more grateful for Harry's insistence to care for her. Milcah shared many times during her visits, how envious she was.

"Cathbad wasn't nearly this attentive with either of my pregnancies," she always said with an adorable pout. Narcissa would laugh and pat her hand gently.

"Yes, well I don't think it's common in either of our societies. I'm pretty sure it's just Harry. You were right about how much love he has to give." She was glad she had Harry and a chance to be a mother again, and she was glad to have Milcah, who had become a true friend and confidant.

When Ella Liliosa was born Harry was in awe of her soft fuzzy blonde hair and already clear blue eyes. The first time she smiled at him and wrapped her tiny fist around his fingers he knew he would let her get away with anything. He looked at Narcissa in surprise, and she smirked at him knowingly.

When their first anniversary came around four months later, Harry had woken up early without saying anything to Narcissa. Narcissa assumed he had forgotten, and as the day went on and she didn't see him, she grew sad. Lucius never remembered their anniversary, but she had hoped things would be different with Harry. Milcah had found her crying in the library at lunch time. Narcissa completely missed her smirk.

'Come Narcissa, take a walk with me.' Milcah took her hand gently and led her out of the library. They walked out of the castle and towards the rose garden. Narcissa looked up when they suddenly stopped and gasped in surprise. Milcah kissed her on the cheek and then skipped away, whistling merrily in a way that reminded Harry of Luna.

"I wanted to surprise you," he said as he came up and took her hands and led her over to a blanket, he had laid out for them. Narcissa looked around in awe at the rose bushes he had transfigured to read, 'I love you Cissy'.

"Happy anniversary Narcissa," he said after he kissed her soundly.

"Happy anniversary Harry, I thought you had forgotten," she said shyly, now slightly embarrassed for getting so upset.

"I could never forget the day you came into my life. Though I'd like to forget the circumstances that brought you too me, marrying you is the best thing that has ever happened to me, well other than Ella" he said sincerely. Narcissa smiled at him and then pulled him in for a deep and passionate kiss.

"I love you Harry," she said as she pulled away. Harry caressed her cheek gently before returning the kiss and pushing her down onto the blanket.

As their first Christmas with Ella approached Milcah and Harry were sitting in the lounge discussing what Harry was going to get Narcissa for Yule. Milcah was perched seductively on the arm of his chair while he thought about his ideas.

'I was thinking a charm bracelet with a little charm with Ella's name on it or something?' Milcah laughed.

'I imagine Narcissa's taste in jewellery is a bit more refined than a charm bracelet, Harry. But, if you are going for the sweet and sentimental factor, why don't you make her a scrapbook or something?' Harry's eyes widened in surprise as ideas of pictures he could take of Narcissa and Ella together for the scrapbook flashed through his mind.

'That's a wonderful idea, I know exactly what I will do.' Harry squeezed her hand gently and then quickly pulled away.

'Glad I could help.'

Narcissa listened from the doorway and watched as they sat close together, not touching but clearly both wanting to. She watched them laugh like they had many times and share lingering glance when the other wasn't looking. She thought about her own desire to feel Milcah's touch, to taste her soft full lips. She was always told it was wrong, but here it didn't have to be. The three of them were already so comfortable together, and she knew it was what they all wanted. In that moment she made her decision and stepped into the room.

'When in Rome, do as the Romans do.' Narcissa chuckled softly and Harry looked over at her with a gentle smile.

"Ella is all ready for bed, but she keeps asking for dadda," said Narcissa. Harry's eyes brightened at this and he stood up to leave. He stopped in the doorway and wrapped one arm around Narcissa's waist to pull her into the hallway.

"This is what you want? You're sure?" He asked. Narcissa nodded.

"Then I'll let you make the first move," he said with a wink. He kissed her soundly and then left to go get Ella to sleep. Narcissa walked into the room and watched Milcah perched on the arm of Harry's chair as she looked out the window. Slowly, Milcah turned and looked over at her with a smile.

"He makes a good father," she said.

"Yes, he does. But I do worry about when she is older. I don't think he'll ever be able to say no to her," said Naricssa. Milcah laughed, and Narcisaa squirmed at the melodious sound.

"He's definitely wrapped around her little finger, and I'm pretty sure she knows it," responded Milcah. Narcissa was suddenly nervous now that she had made up her mind and as she stepped into the room, she wasn't quite sure what to do with her hands or her eyes. She slowly walked closer to the chair Milcah was perched on. Milcah sat patiently on the arm of the chair, looking at Narcissa with an amused smile. Then suddenly Narcissa surprised them both by quickly covering the remaining distance between them and crashing their lips together in a frantic, sloppy kiss.

A half an hour later Harry returned to see them still kissing, he smiled at them gently and then quietly closed the door and retreated to the library.

A/N – It may not have been what you expected, but they are in a place where you can basically have any sexual identity you want. It didn't seem fair for Harry to be the only one allowed to have some fun while they are there. I do want to point out two things: 1) This will not be a threesome fic. Harry and Narcissa will each have their own individual relationship with the OC character while they are in Albion, but the three of them will never be together all at once. 2) The relationship that will develop between Harry and Amelia when they return will not be the same as this one. Harry will have an independent relationship with both women, but Amelia and Narcissa will not be an item. If you are still along for the ride, thank you for giving it a chance!
