Connections Part 2
"Will Gaby be at Tina's house tomorrow?" Rob asked Jamal on his end.
"No she won't," Jamal answered Rob. "Alex said that Gaby had to help Mister and Missis Fernandez at the Bodega tomorrow."
"In that case," Rob said to Jamal. "I will be there!"
"Excellent!" Jamal exclaimed on his end of the line.
"I'll see you tomorrow," Rob said to Jamal. "good bye."
"Good bye, Rob." Jamal said.
Jamal and Rob hung up their house telephones.
The next morning, Alex, Hector, Jamal, Casey, Lenni, and Rob were riding their bikes to the Nguyen residence where the rally was being held.
"So, Rob," Lenni asked. "how does it feel to be back in the United States of America?"
"It feels great, Lenni." Rob answered.
Casey had the bandana in the basket on her bike.
"Don't lose that clue, Casey." Alex called as the team rounded a corner.
"Don't worry, Alex," Casey promised. "I won't lose the bandana!"
The Ghostwriter team minus Gaby finally made their way to Tina's house.
Tuan saw the team from the living room window.
"Hey! Cool," Tuan exclaimed. "Lenni's here!"
"Lenni's not here to see you, Tuan," Tina said sharply. "she and the rest of my friends are here for a club meeting."
"What sort of club is it?" Tuan asked Tina.
"None of your business, Tuan!" Tina yelled.
The doorbell rang.
"I will still get the door." Tuan said to Tina.
Tuan went to the front door and opened it.
