Ran's New Lease in Life

Note: I am still rereading my other fanfics due to my long two years in graduate school took its toll on my creative side, as the facts of life. Keep in mind I had seen the new Godzilla vs Kong movie and it kicks ass, I am pretty sure you guys know which team I'm on by now, if not well I suggest you figure it out.

Third POV

Iruka was in shock knowing Ran was not looking at him and avoided him at every opportunity, he could not stay away from her 'she is really going to great lengths to avoid me' he thought. Ran in the meantime got discharged from the hospital with a clean bill of health so she was happy to roam the village without disgusted stares from anyone. 'I just hope that jerk doesn't come here' she thought as she window shopped for items she would like.

Ran's POV

Uncle Tsutomu examined me "I hate them for what they did to me" I said as he looked me over. "I know little one but your grandfather had a word with the Hokage about the Chūnin from the Leaf who approached you when he wasn't supposed to" he reassured me. "I know I am considered a special being because of Kurama, the fox. "I don't know who I am let alone what I am but I will not be anyone's scapegoat" I said.

Mom walked in "I know little Orchid but he was told not to do anything we consider harassment" mom replied. I still didn't like the idea of them being here after everything they had done to me all because of what had happened nine years ago. "There is something I want to ask Hiruzen Sarutobi who my parents were, and he better not tell another lie to me" I replied. "I understand you have to right to know the truth" mom agreed.

"Well Ran you are free to leave the hospital and you are no one's scapegoat those villagers made their choice and you made the right choice to stay" my uncle added. I agreed I want nothing to do with the Leaf and they made their choice to kick me out just because I am the jailer for the fox, so somehow it was my fault the fox attacked and costed the Fourth Hokage his life.

Third POV

Kakashi followed Iruka knowing he would try to look for Ran even though he knew by now Ran had already made it clear she wants absolutely nothing to do with him and the Leaf. 'I cannot blame her, the loss of those against the Fox made everyone take their pain ad grief out of her and she did not deserve it' Kakashi thought. 'I would not be surprised if Minato and Kushina are angry in the afterlife' he added in thought.

Ran's POV

'Rather nice not to wear rags' I thought as I walked around the village with the allowance I get from dad once a week and I had my kunai knife ready in case the butthole from the Leaf Academy tried to get near me again. "Least Uncle Kenpachiro taught me how to fight back far better than that guy" I said to myself.

I glanced around to see if Iruka was near because I did not want to see him. Of course, I began to talk to some of the kids and we began to talk to each other. 'No parents to chase me away, no one to call me a 'freak' this is the life I need, not with the Land of Fire' I thought as I got a book about various jutsu to prepare for my new school.
