THE LONE DEMIGOD CHAPTER 6
A/N: So please don't kill me for breaking Annabeth and Percy up, but I got reviews asking how will they get a Percy x Wanda pairing, so I had to.
"No! Thank you!" Percy and Peter said at the same time.
Tony just laughed. "Well, I guess, I will drop you guys off here." Percy realized that they had stopped right outside Peter's house. He guessed it was because Tony had more data about Peter than Percy, so tony knew where he lived.
"Here, I will explain to your aunt why you're late." Tony exited the limo with Peter and Percy trailing behind him.
When he rung the bell, Aunt May came out wearing an apron that had been stained with the sauces of the turkey that had exploded in the oven. And can you imagine her shock when she saw Iron Man right at her doorstep. Then from behind him, the two teens came.
"It's okay, don't scold the kids, they were with me, I was just taking a stroll around, when they asked me to help me complete their homework, so that's what I did, and we got a little late on our way here." Tony blatantly lied. The P duo nodded their heads vigorously.
"Alright, well come on in kids." Aunt May said opening the door to let Percy and Peter in.
"See you later Mr stark." Peter said enthusiastically, while Percy held up a paper that said, 'Reveal our secrets and I will kill you…' with a finger sliding across his throat. Tony gulped, but quickly regained his composure. Then waved and went back.
Inside Aunt may was visibly shaking, whether from excitement or fear, that wasn't sure.
"So why are you not at your house Percy?" Aunt may questioned as she went to the kitchen to see what she could do about the exploded turkey.
"Well, mom isn't at home because she went to the publishing house to get her book published and Paul is working overtime to check the exam papers."
"So, will Percy stay with us for the night?" Peter asked.
"Yeah, he can stay if he wants to." Came the reply.
The two showered wore new and fresh clothes and came back to the kitchen to see if they could do anything to help Aunt. But, they didn't have to because she had everything in control. They were going to get burgers for dinner.
After eating, Percy and Peter went to sleep. Percy slept in a spare bed that they had for Uncle Ben. He learned that Peter's uncle had died, in a car robbery and Percy instantly felt bad for him.
Somehow, Percy had a feeling that something bad was going to happen in some time, he just didn't know what.
He made up his mind to go visit camp the next day, as it was the weekend, to get some fresh and calm by talking to friends. But he didn't know how wrong he was.
OLYMPUS
"I say, we should kill that seaspawn, for revealing us." Zeus exclaimed. They had seen the exchange between Perseus and Iron Man.
"You shall not lay a finger on my son, He didn't have any choice, Stark is pretty smart, and if my son hadn't told him about us, he would've slowly found out about all of the Greek gods." Poseidon countered.
"Yes I agree with barnacle beard, Perseus had to do something, otherwise, we would all be in trouble." Athena said.
"Poseidon and Athena agreeing on something, Hades will freeze." Hermes said.
A dark voice from the underworld said. "HEY!"
"And plus, maybe, we can task Perseus to find out about the infinity stones." Hera supplied.
"I already told you that the Infinity Stones are not ON THIS PLANET!" Zeus boomed.
"Stop being such a prick, your senses are failing you, must be the old age." His wife said, annoyed of her husband's behavior.
"You want my son to be a spy." Poseidon asked, though it was more like a statement.
"Yes, sea fish." Athena said. "All in favour of asking Perseus to search more about the infinity stones?" She asked. Out of 11, 8 raised their hands.
"Bah! Fine, but if the mortals harm our children, I shall blast them all into oblivion, Perseus included." Zeus yelled and vanished from the throne room. One by one everyone did.
NEW YORK
Percy was sitting in a cab headed to Camp Half blood. He paid the driver and entered. In there he was met with the usual sight, People running around here and there, some playing and some training. He smiled and went to find Annabeth. "Hey seaweed brain." She said kissing him.
"Hey wisegirl, where are you headed?"
"To Chiron." "Me too."
Together the couple reached the big house, which was full with camp leaders. Turns out, Mr. D had told them about the infinity stones. Everybody was looking glum and sad. Then Clarisse saw Percy. "Hey Prissy and Annie are back!" Everybody smiled and waved at them.
"Hey guys, Chiron, Mr. d." Annabeth said smiling. Percy made his way to Chiron and whispered something in his ear. Chiron nodded and cleared his throat. "Everyone silence, Perseus has something tell you all."
Everyone's eyes turned towards him.
"Well, I met Tony Stark and Spiderman."
"WHAT!" Almost everyone except Chiron and Dionysus exclaimed.
"WHY!"
"Well, I was fighting a couple of hellhounds, they didn't die at once, spiderman saw through the mist, he came and killed some, Iron man was recording everything and the next day he comes and picks my friend and I from the cafeteria where we were doing homework, turns out my friend is spider man. Story finished." Percy said hurriedly.
"Then what did you do, did you tell him about us?" Annabeth asked.
"Well I had to….." "WHAT THE HELL, I TOLD YOU TO NOT MINGLE WITH THEM, BUT NOW YOU STRAIGHT UP GO AND TELL THEM ABOUT US!" Annabeth yelled, so loudly that everyone had to cover their ears.
"Listen, I didn't know my friend was spiderman, okay? Plus, I only told Stark about myself. I told him that this camp didn't exist, he doesn't even know about the romans. I am the only one alive in his eyes, to him, all of you are dead and you are a goddess." Percy said pointing his finger at Annabeth during the last line.
"But still, he knows about us, who knows, he can use this information in a bad way, he might lock you up, he might experiment on you, he might hand you over to the government." Katie said as Annabeth nodded 'Exactly'
"Yeah, even if you did lie to him about everything, you still exposed us." Clovis (surprisingly awake) said.
"Let him be, something good might come from this agreement with the avengers." Nico said.
"Yeah, we could get their help, in other words they could be our allies in helping us to know more about the infinity stones." Will said and it was Percy's turn to go 'Exactly.'
"NO, THEY CANNOT BE OUR ALLIES, THEY WILL DESTROY MY HOME. Annabeth yelled at Percy.
"Peace children." Chiron said. "Perseus had to do that, but now Perseus, I trust you to not say anymore to anyone else."
"Yeah but that isn't the question right? The question is why can the mortals see through the mist." Percy said.
"In my holiday, I saw some mortals seeing through the mist, but they were normal humans, not destructive freaks." Annabeth added.
"I think, its because the mortals are seeing too much. A literal sky is falling from the sky, so I don't think we can do too much to stop them from seeing us." Jason said.
"AND NOW YOU WENT AND TOLD IRON MAN MORE, HE MIGHT TELL IT TO OTHERS, AND THEN SLOWLY OUR HOME WILL NOT BE SAFE ANYMORE." Annabeth shouted.
"So its my fault, that I was born in this world, its my fault that I have to endure all this? Tell me Wise Girl, what would you have done in my place?"
"Well I would have run away…. Wait what are you doing?" Annabeth asked Percy who picked up his bag and shouldered it.
"The same thing you said… Running away."
A/N: So we got the big reveal and we got the big argument about the avengers. From now on the Percabeth relationship will be strained as Percy goes back into the mortal world. So thank you for reading.
