At the meantime, SMG3, X and FM are still running from Zero. 'It seems that going back the cathedral isn't a good idea,' said X. FM nodded, and suddenly his eyes widened. He then dragged X and SMG3 into a corner full of lifeless recoloured Marios. 'What are you doing!?' Asked SMG3. FM then searched a lifeless guy similar to EpicYoshi, and used his hand to catch SMG3 while moving the lifeless Mario. 'Well, that guy looked exactly like EpicYoshi… He became lifeless!?' Asked X, confused. FM shook his head. 'So what did you actually mean?' SMG3 asked.
Just then, EpicYoshi rushed in. 'Zero is coming!' He screamed. 'But we can't run anymore…' sighed SMG3. 'Wait, so did you mean that EpicYoshi is actually freed since Zero decides to catch us, FM?' Asked X. FM nodded his head, and pointed at something outside. 'Zero!' Screamed SMG3. However, the hand suddenly stopped. 'Is he thinking of where are we?' Said EpicYoshi. FM shook his head and gave him an 'I don't think so' look.
'Damn, why can it be broken?' Said a voice outside. It was a 'recoloured' textureless Mario with a yellow right eye and a cyan right sleeve. He wears grey overalls and a grey cap with a 'Z' on it. 'I think that's actually the real Zero,' X whispered to SMG3. 'You're right,' SMG3 whispered back.
The textureless Mario, seemed to know that where the others was, walked into the pile of lifeless Marios. 'Well, look what we've got there!' He said. The Marios behind the pile were shocked. FM gave him a surprised 'Who are you' look. 'I'm Zero, the controller of the machine. You guys are shocked, right? Well I'm born like that,' answered Zero, as his right eye turned white. 'I was right!?' Said X. 'I think so,' replied SMG3. Suddenly, the hand started to move again. 'RUN!' Shouted EpicYoshi, as he dashed away. The others followed him. 'I'll try to stop it!' Shouted Zero, as he walked to the inner side of the cathedral.
'He seemed like a good guy,' said SMG3 after reaching the exit. 'I agree,' said X, 'But this left us two questions: Why did he plan to kill us, and why did his right eye white instead of yellow when he came to us?' FM seemed to agree what X said, and he pointed to Zero, who has just came out. This time, his eye was yellow, and he is holding the YouTube remote with an evil grin. 'What—What are you going to do now!?' Screamed EpicYoshi.
