Part 7 - Vanessa and Bella's Talking And Tension Rises

Sue with Leah and Seth gave the two a smile of their own, while Leah's was abit stiff and not really wanting to be there, and she went to take a seat, while Sue gave Bella soft hug and cooed over their son, and Seth shook hands with Eddie, while Charlie went over to sit by the Black's as Vanessa, Jacob's new girlfriend, still sat in confusion of what was going on around her. Sue then gave a soft hug to Eddie, who hugged her back. As she then said

"And look how much Alex has grown since birth. You did amazing with him, Bells." Bella just smiled and thanked her, as Eddie said

"Bella was great at the birth, and now that she is healed enough we both thought of coming after getting invited by Sam and Em to their own baby-shower. So of course we came to it, as both of them are great friends to us both still to this day."

Sue just smiled as she took a seat next to Emily, and gave the expecting mom a hug of her own. Bella and Eddie sat down on their seats again and looked around the room, that seemed to have tensed up since the last guests had come over. Bella didnt even look over at her ex-father, as she was going ignore him until someone said anything or he had enough of her being ignorant of him being there.

Vanessa then turned to Bella asking if the two could talk out in the kitchen, and Bella nodded and stood up and left the room for the kitchen. Jacob looked after the two with tension and Eddie was relaxed as he knew that Bella could handle it all herself afterall.

***in the kitchen***

"So you must be Vanessa then?" The said girl nodded, said

"Yes, and you must be Bella right?" Bella smiled and said

"Yes, I am, so what did you want to talk with me about?" And Vanessa asked her why it seems so tense and why Jacob kept staring at Bella, and Bella told her the whole story of what had happened to her and why so much tension and lastly why Jacob seems to stare at her still despite her feelings towards the younger boy was nothing of that he had still feelings for herself. Vanessa was thankful as none of the others wanted to answer her when she had asked them of it, Bella told her it could be for being so uncomfortable or not knowing the full story behind it too. And Vanessa agreed to it and thanked Bella for being honest with her and that the two would have no issues with each other now that Vanessa knew it all was one-sided from Jacob while Bella had stood up to him and told him the full truth of her feelings were to him, which was nothing like he had for her.

Soon the two came back inside of the living room, Bella went to Eddie's side who just smiled and kissed her softly before she took over to hold their sleeping son in her arms or in the snuggle blankey she had wrapped around herself with ease. Leaving her arms free. Vanessa went and sat down next to Jacob who looked nervous but she gave no mind to it or him for now. Others were just happy that Bella and Vanessa had spoken to each other and seeing them smile to each other, made them see there was no issues between them anymore, and they relaxed of it. Charlie still sat with a glare and kept huffing every now and then.

Making things to be rather tensed up.
