Rias couldn't help but be happy. She now had two more people in her family. They both have potential to grow strong.
'All my peerage members have problems, Issei seems to be the only normal one.'
As she thought about her members, one stuck out, Blake.
'To think he starved to death, all alone in the cold.' It must have been awful. She would do her best to make him feel welcome.
'It's like he's closing himself off.'
But how do you help someone who thinks of themselves as a monster?
She sighed before opening her eyes, noticing he was gone from the bed.
"Eh?" She then noticed the window was open.
She quickly went out and looked out the window, noticing he was sitting on the roof of the building next to theirs.
She flew over to where he was.
He glanced at her before saying.
"I never thought I'd be here in this situation."
"Life is random like that." Rias said kindly.
"The moon is beautiful here."
"I have something to tell you." She said softly.
He looked at her curiously.
"I'm in an arranged marriage. My life has always been dictated by others." He let her continue.
"But you, you don't see me as Buchou or the Gremory Heiress. Thank you for seeing me as just Rias."
"You want out of this marriage right?" Blake said determined.
Rias couldn't help but cry while nodding her head.
"Riser is a powerful high class devil, and he has a full peerage."
"I promise you, that you will be free. Even if I have to kill him myself." Blake said, making a promise. He then slowly put his arm around her. She leaned into his body and they looked at the moon together for a few minutes before returning to bed.
As he closed his eyes he realised he was in front of the cave. Blake wasn't wary this time.
He walked up to the figure who was on the throne.
"Like a little child, you come before me, begging for power"
Blake didn't say anything for minute before replying
"I have no idea what I am, I have barely any idea of what things will look like, and I feel weak enough that I will fail any fight… Please help me."
The figure only chuckled before saying
"Seems you have some semblance of resolve. Very well, I will show you how to fight as a member of our race when you fight the Fallen Angel's at the church. Just this once… Even though you ignore the fact that you're alone in this, but a child must make mistakes.``
Blake nods his head.
The corpse waved his hand and Blake opened his eyes. Blake then noticed that he was next to Rias.
He looked at the alarm clock and noticed that it was still pretty early in the morning. Looking at Rias he could tell she was sleeping deeply. He quietly made his way to the living room and proceeded to devour everything in the kitchen. As he finished eating he heard footsteps.
"Today will be your first contract. I have a feeling today is going to be a good one."
Rias said as she sat down on the couch in a small shirt and shorts.
"I hope so. How did you sleep?" Blake asked
"Pretty good." Rias replied sleepily.
"I see you're not a morning person." Blake jokingly stated.
They then got dressed fully and made their way to the ORC.
"Today we will be giving out contracts. So do your best."
"Buchou, what do I have to do?" Issei asked.
"You fulfill the desires of those who summoned us." Issei nods his head in determination. As he gets ready to be teleported, the room lights up… and nothing happens.
"Looks like you have zero aptitude for magic, not enough to even get teleported." Rias said as Blake laughed out loud.
"Shut up you damn handsome!" Issei yelled in anger.
"Looks like you'll have to bike there." Rias says kindly
As Issei leaves to go do that Blake and the rest get teleported.
"Ah Mr. Devil is here, just as I requested." A man with black hair and golden bangs said as Blake finds himself in the middle of a lavish apartment. Blake couldn't help but be wary as he gazed at the Leader of Grigori, Azazel himself.
He must have noticed because he said
"You've got a bad hunger in your eyes, kid."
Blake flinches but sits down across from thevman.
"Wine?" To which Blake nods his head. Azazel then goes to the kitchen and comes back with wine glasses.
"Surprised you agreed, you are a kid after all."
"You only live once." Blake says simply.
Azazel gives a smile.
"I like that."
After sipping on wine, Blake cuts to the chase.
"What do you desire from me? I'm here on a contract after all." Azazel looks at me before saying.
"Wendigos are S class monsters incapable of seeing reason."
Blake nods his head causing Azazel to look at him seriously.
"..."
"Your very interesting, you're going to stand out from this generation of supernatural creatures."
"What you do with the power is exciting to think about."
Azazel said with a smile.
"You're looking at me like I'm an experiment" Blake says with a frown.
Azazel looks seriously as he said.
"My underlings are in town causing trouble, go easy on them."
Blake scoffed and said
"If they're a threat, I can't promise anything."
He sighed and changed the subject.
"Grow strong, Wendigo, your going to be needed eventually."
He then looks around and points to a painting.
"It looks expensive" Blake says knowing where this is going.
"That is your prize for indulging me, we'll definitely meet again."
Blake teleports to the ORC only to find Rias scolding Issei.
"We are enemies of the one above, going to a place of worship is a death sentence. And hanging around a nun will only cause trouble." Rias says in a no nonsense tone.
"Asia is nice, she doesn't deserve to be tricked by the fallen angels!" Issei argued.
"Enough Issei, were done talking about this… I'm only protecting you." Rias said back. Issei looks down before running out the door
Rias sighs as she turned to look at me.
"How was your contract… Wait, is that a painting?" Rias said curiously.
"He said it was his price for summoning us"
She looked happy that everything went well.
"What did he want?" Kiba asked curiously.
"He just wanted someone to drink with." Blake replies
"He is either foolish or strong." Akeno says with a frown.
Blake nods his head as he sits down on the couch next to Koneko.
"Senpai, here." Koneko says as she offers him chocolate.
"Eh? Looks like Koneko has a crush, she's never shared with anyone." Akeno says, giggling. Koneko glares at her before she continues to eat.
Rias didnt look amused.
The day ends with Blake lying in bed next to Rias.
'The meeting with Freed should happen soon, he's already met with Asia."
"What are you thinking about?" Rias asked as she stared at him.
"The future." She hmmd
"Where am I in this future of yours?"
"Hopefully next to me." Blake admitted finally.
Her eyes widened and she started crying.
"I don't want moments like this to end."
'Seems she does like you, perhaps I was wrong… Well atleast until you lose control.'
Blake's eyes widened as he heard the deep voice speak.
'Didnt think you could talk to me while I'm awake.'
No response.
'Love is a normal emotion y'know, do you really think you can feel that way.' The voice mocked.
Blake said nothing as he went to deep meditation, with Rias sleeping next to him.
The day started and school ended uneventfully.
The group was all together, minus Issei, when Rias suddenly jumped up from ger oak table.
"Issei is in trouble." Everyone looked alarmed besides Blake who had a knowing look on his face.
"Let's go!" She then teleported us to a house.
The house interior was coated in blood and had the words 'devil scum' written in blood on the wall.
Issei was panting on the ground with a bullet wound in his leg.
"Looks like the whole pack came here~"
"You wont be leaving this room alive." Rias stated with anger.
"Eh~ Is this love? No, I know its love~" Freed said psychotically.
"Those eyes~ You want to murder me don't you~?"
Everyone looked disturbed at the deranged priest.
"Devil-sama's~ Not today!" Freed yelled as he through out a flash bang, blinding everyone.
When it cleared Asia and Freed was gone.
"Asia!" Issei yelled in pain.
"Akeno, take Issei home and heal him."
"Right!"
"The rest of you, teleport to the club."
Everyone did their duties and Kiba, Koneko, Blake, and Rias found their way to the club room.
Rias was pacing around the floor.
"Those fools! I will have their heads for this." Rias said angrily thinking of the fallen angels.
"Calm down, we have to be ready to strike." Blake said seriously.
She let out a huff and sat down at her desk.
"Issei will try to go alone, I want you three to be ready to back him up, understood?" All three of them nodded their heads.
They then went home, knowing tommorow will be a battle.
It was morning when Kiba knocked at the door to Rias and Blake's apartment.
Rias and Blake quickly came to the door and saw Kiba was there.
"Buchou, Issei has made his move."
'Finally!' The being said in Blake's head.
Blake looked surprised but remembered he was about to get a lesson in fighting.
"Kiba, get Koneko, I'll get Akeno. Blake…
Go wild!"
Rias said quickly.
Blake could only grin.
'You're body is screaming at you to fight.'
'This will show you what your true nature is.'
Blake made it to the church just in time to smell something sweet. His nose flared as three figures were floating in front of him, in front of the church.
"Kalwarner, Donahseek, looks like we get the other new one." Milttelt said sadistically.
Donahsek laughed and said.
"Go back to your master before you get hurt."
Blake then heard Akeno and Rias appear with Kiba and Koneko behind them.
Rias said
"Kiba, Koneko go inside and back up Issei. Akeno and I will make a barrier to hide us." Both of them went inside.
"Those two seem much more of a fight than this little boy." Kalawarner said looking at Rias and Akeno.
Blake's body pulsed, causing them to stare at him.
Black veins appeared on Blake's face, reaching his eye, turning it black.
Blake's body pulsed again.
Rias and Akeno stood behind him, ready to help.
"Blake, feel free to devour them." Rias said seriously.
Blake laughed psychotically shocking them.
"Theres something off about this one." Donahseek said.
'My turn.' The voice said pushing Blake to take the back seat.
Blakes wings appeared, this time pure white with black, pulsing veins.
In an instant Blake was on top of Donahseek and using brute strength, threw him into the ground, cratering it.
"A wendigos bite is deadly, didnt you hear? Die knowing your strength will be added to my own. " Blake then picked up Donahseeks body blocking a barrage of yellow light spears that embedded themselves in his dying body.
"Donahseek! You bastard, what are you!?" Kalawarner yelled as she prepared another volley. Mittelt could only watch in horror as the boy took a bite out of Donahseeks neck, freezing the body and killing him instantly.
"Mittelt back me up here!"
'Watch and learn, Blake.'
The two then flew up and prepared dozens of large spears. They launched them like shooting stars, only to be blocked by a thin layer of ice, floating in front of Blake. Blake then turned the layer of ice into an arrow larger than all the ones before, and launched it at Mittelt faster than anyone of them could track. It stuck itself directly through the chest of Mittelt, causing her eyes to widen. She could only look down at the ice in her chest, blood gushing from her wound as the spear shattered. She fell to the ground dying slowly.
"She will be eaten slowly."
Kalawarner could only fly away in terror before the monster seemingly teleported in front of her. Smirking Blake back handed her causing her to fall from the sky. She looked up at the sky trying to find him only to feel his knee on her back, pinning her to the ground.
"I don't want to die." Kalawarner cried out loud. Blake then took a bite out of her neck, just like Donahseek. She then turned to ice, the bite wound spreading like poison.
Blake then ate all of them, saving Mittelt for last. All that's left of them were blood splattered on the ground.
"Thank you for the meal." Blake said sweetly. He then turned to Rias and scoffed.
The veins dissapeared and his eyes turned back to normal.
"Do you feel stronger?" Rias said fascinated by the spectacle.
"Much stronger, I'll have to sort through the memories later."
One thing was bothering Blake. How could she look at him like this was normal. He ate three people in front of her. He couldn't help but say.
"Sorry you had to see that."
"I'm the one who gave you permission, I know that you'll never hurt your family, they were going to die any way. You're not a monster Blake." Rias said seriously.
Blake simply didnt believe her. There had to be some reason she didn't care.
'Because your her attack dog.' The voice said mockingly.
Pushing it to the back of his mind Blake followed Akeno and Rias into the church were Issei was standing over the defeated body of Raynare.
"How could this happen, I'm the strongest!"
"Issei here doesnt have a twice critical, he has the Boosted Gear" Rias said happily.
Raynare eyes widened as she thrashed on the ground.
"Issei, her fate is in your hands." Rias said seriously.
She turned into her other form, Amamo Yuma.
"Please dont let them do this, remember our date, I love you Issei" Issei only looked down and let tears out.
"You killed Asia, an innocent, all for power. Buchou, do what you want." Issei said looking down at Asia.
Rias walked up to her and said.
"For toying with my pawns mind, and killing a good person, I sentence you to death." With a flair of power, an orb of destruction overtook Raynare's body, erasing her from existence.
Rias then walked over to Asias body and returned her ring.
"Rise Asia, as my servant
After thinking about the gasper situation, Ive decided he will be as he is in the anime, just not as a piece. More will be explained later. One of the perks of not planning anything until i write it.
